absolutely fuming at the number of people who think it's fine and acceptable to leave unsolicited comments telling people to lose weight. literally shut the fuck up forever I'm exploding you with my mind

OOC: since Scrap is an ESPer does that mean they know about the hospital and all that??
OOC: yes, he knows. He vaguely referenced it at the beginning of the arc when talking about Eve's parents (somebody asked how he felt about Eve's family). He also mentioned that he never discloses anyone's private thoughts no matter the circumstances so it's not like he's going to tell her or anyone else

I'm in a mood right now and I'm going to load my queues back up soon so my blogs are more than just bland salt, but truly fandom was a mistake, I don't think I'm having fun with it at this point, and I want to just go back into my hole where I reblog or RT fanart and shitposts and just avoid anything with a whiff of discourse.
And, yes, that means avoiding the legitimate conversations, too, bc a lot of people don't know how to act in the mentions of those. I want to be ignorant of fandom shit, the real world already sucks so much ass.

I wish I could find like transition videos or before and afters of nonbinary or genderqueer folks without being barraged with anti trans rhetoric.

I'm gonna be a little mask-off for this post and I apologize if it makes anyone uncomfortable, but lately I've been seeing A LOT of people tag/discuss-thru-reblogs Miraculous Characters (specifically the kids) on fetish/kink community posts lately and it's been making me wildly uncomfortable.
Ignoring the fact that you're sexualizing middle school aged characters (who yes, I'm aware are fictional, I'm still allowed to be uncomfortable by it) you do realize like, most of these original posts are ALSO made by real people who are seeing your tags/replies, right?
Outside of this blog I'm pretty active in kink spaces/communities. I understand that posts sometimes breach containment, especially tamer ones. But if someone reblogged one of my explicitly Adult ™ posts on their childrens-show-blog, tagging it with child characters from that children's show, that would probably rattle me. Maybe if you were a small blog I could block you and move on, but if you had a large following, especially if a lot of that following includes minors? It's a definite possibility that that could cause real and lasting problems for me.
I don't think anyone is meaning any ill intent, just please be conscious of what you're posting/adding to people's posts.

I do think it’s kinda hilarious that I will have colleagues (loosely I’m an ecologist) who will say “with mammals, we can gauge body condition by their mass, if there’s big fat stores we know they’re doing quite well” then come up to me in the same week down the hall and be like “you should do more field work haha you’ll shed so many pounds”
