HANDS – Neuvillette, Alhaitham, Capitano, Diluc

NEUVILLETTE kisses your knuckles the most. To him, he believes that kissing you on the lips is far too intimate to be seen in public, preferring to do it in closed doors where it’s just the two of you alone, and so he often kisses your knuckles whenever he can. 

Whenever he does, one of his glove-covered hands would reach towards yours before lifting it to his lips, kissing each knuckle with care as though your hand is a delicate treasure, as if every kiss is a promise that he’ll hold your heart with care and unwavering devotion. 

It doesn’t help that you often find your cheeks warming up when his intense violet-shaded eyes look at yours, and no words were enough for you to explain the connection that you both have from just a simple stare. 

By the time he pulls away from your hand, you let out a breath that you didn’t know you were holding. 

“Oh, do you have a fever, my dear?” He asks worriedly, removing one of his gloves to check on the temperature of your forehead after kissing your knuckles out of nowhere while the two of you were lounging on the couch in his office. “Fret not, I can make something that can ease your fever away.” He adds, before standing up and rushes away to make a drink that will help you ease yourself, unaware that he’s the reason for your flustered state.

Ah, the things you’d do for this sweet man of yours. 

The same goes for ALHAITHAM when it comes to kissing you in public. He believes that the two of you kissing on each other’s lips should be private with no one to ruin it or spoil the intimacy, and so you often find him kissing you in other parts instead – specifically, your hands or cheeks. 

It’s rare for him to kiss you in public since he’s not much of a PDA man, but when he does, it happens at a quiet or secluded moment when the world seems to be muted around you two. When Alhaitham finds himself staring at you for too long, he couldn’t help but smoothly put his hand on top of yours, and raises your hand towards his lips to kiss it. 

His turquoise-shaded eyes stay on yours when you look at him, never looking away as you feel his lips on your skin, bringing chills to your spine from the feeling. The way he stares at you is as if he knows your deepest secrets and desires, and knows what sets you off to make your knees become jelly-like.  

It doesn’t help that he’d casually act as if nothing happened after, as if it’s just a casual thing to do (it is, to him), leaving you staring at him with your mouth agape. 

“What? Cat got your tongue?” He asks, hiding a small smirk as he glances at you. 

He definitely knows what he’s doing. 

CAPITANO is a strong man with a physique that could make anyone intimidated – both vision-holders and non-vision holders alike. It’s no doubt that such a powerful man like him would most likely be found in numerous battlefields, bringing the Tsaritsa many victories that she deserves. 

So it’s a strange sight to see said strong man on one knee, holding your hand as he gives it an affectionate kiss. He does it in a way that’s as though you’re a deity worth worshiping. He’s a captain by others, but to you, he’s your knight in shining armor (that’s corrupted by bloodshed and death, but we don’t talk about that here). 

You cannot see the expression he makes, but the way he kisses your hand is enough for you to know how much this man, who had killed so many and left no mercy to his opponents, is soft and caring for you. He kisses with care, as if afraid that you’ll shatter if he doesn’t control his strength. 

It became a custom for him to be on one knee and kiss your hand whenever he comes home to you from another mission – which is perhaps more often than you both like to admit. Despite your insistence that he doesn’t have to do such things, he does it anyway. In a way, it’s his way of apologizing to you for the lost time, and will do anything to make it up to you.

And he always did, with gifts, comfort, and of course, love. 

“I’m home, my love.” He spoke, with a hint of affection in his gruff voice that usually holds so much authority, kissing your hand tenderly.

DILUC is a gentleman by heart, and although he’s seen as the epitome of perfection around Mondstadt, he is seen indoors as a vulnerable man who you dearly care for. For so long, the two of you have found comfort and love within one another in the dimly lit room that you both share in the manor. He’s your warmth, and you’re his pillar. 

In private, where no one could see underneath the aloof and courteous man but you, he’d tiredly wrap his arms around you as he sighed in contentment. It’s normal for a man such as him to be so tired from work, so tired from his duties, and so tired from everything outside of his manor, but he is never tired of you, his beloved spouse who he treasures. He’s a zealous soul who cares not for wealth and materialism, but for the people of Mondstadt and the ones he loves.  

Your hand is often intertwined with his, and he’d bring up your hand up to his lips in the quiet moments of your shared intimacy. To him, your hand is a canvas that he paints with his deep affection and adoration. 

You couldn’t help but soften up as a result, feeling cherished and loved by your beloved man who never fails to make you swoon. 

For Diluc, kissing your hand is more than some simple intimate gesture, but rather a way to honor your pure essence – to show you how grateful he is to have you who has captured his soul in a tight grip that he never wants to leave from. And so, he continues to kiss your hand more, each a testament with a silent vow to love you throughout your lives together. 

“A-Ah.. My bad,” He clears his throat, his ears turning almost as red as his hair, “It seems I almost got carried away.” 

LIPS – Itto, Tartaglia, Kaveh, Kaeya

ITTO is a kind soul at heart, with a fiery passion when it comes to his loved ones – specifically, and with no certain favoritism, you. The oni is not one to shy away from showing you how much he loves you with all of his huge heart, so expect lots of kisses from him! 

The most prominent part that he kisses is of course, your lips. 

For Itto, there is no greater joy than the taste of your lips, each kiss contains joy and love on his end. With his endless energy and passionate spirit, he approached each kiss and affection  with an infectious enthusiasm, eager to lose himself in the overwhelming warmth of your presence and affection. 

In the sweetness of your kiss, he finds it much better than the feeling of sweet victory from a beetle battle, and he couldn’t find himself to remove the pleased grin on his face whenever he gets a kiss from you. 

It’s as if your lips is a magnetic force to his, as he never hesitates to kiss you whenever he could – be it whenever he greets you, whenever he wins a battle, basically every moment with him (a bit of an exaggeration really, but you get what I mean!). 

“My boo boo bear!” He cheers when he sees you in his vision, running up towards you as he instantly gives you a bone-crushing hug, lifting you up with his immense strength regardless of your weight. “I missed you! How was your day?” He asks excitedly, giving you a big smooch! on your lips.

CHILDE is just as fun as Itto – if you excuse his battlelust, of course. Besides his need for an activity or someone to fight with, the prowess fighter is not shy when it comes to giving you what he believes you deserve, which is giving you his undying affection.

He’s an infectious man, who leeches off to your kisses and hugs. He’s a fighter by spirit, but a lover by heart. He’s attentive to your needs, very willing to give you tons of kisses if you ask for it. Of course, even if you didn’t, he’d snatch a kiss or two from you without you expecting it. 

His love is like an unforgiving ocean, often wild and untamed, yet it comes with a fierce and unrelenting passion. In moments between the two of you, he seeks to plant his lips on yours, as though your kiss is a battlefield conquered by him, a well-done victory even. 

With each kiss on your lips is a vow, a vow that he’ll see to it that he gets to see the light of day after every battle, to see you by the end of the tunnel and show you that you won’t lose him that easily. For in your presence, he found his salvation, the arm that reaches out to him to pull him out of the abyss he’s in, guiding him out of the unforgiving ocean that seems to drown him whole. 

And so, he’ll never stop kissing you, regardless of where you are and the circumstances. 

“Were you watching me?” He asks eagerly, running up to you before planting a kiss on your lips, his hands that are scarred from the numerous weapons he held and the battles he fought in find themselves cupping your cheeks. 

When he pulls away, he looks at your eyes with a cheeky grin. “I did great, didn’t I?”

Known for his works and talent, KAVEH is no doubt a respectable man around the land of wisdom and scholars. Many would sing praises to his masterpieces and his original ideas that bring potential to Sumeru. As what a certain scribe would describe him, he is the light of Kshahrewar and a master builder and craftsman. 

However, such a bright reputation hides a man whose heart is tender and emotionally fragile, with too much on his plate. Which is why he is ever so grateful to have you by his side through it all.

For every affection the two of you share, Kaveh feels like the luckiest man in all of Sumeru – no, in Teyvat even. He doesn’t feel like he deserves you, a person who loves him for all that he is. With you, he feels cherished and appreciated even, and you balance his emotional fragility with your presence that seems so encouraging and comforting.

He seeks refuge in your affection, often cupping your cheeks and giving you a kiss. His kisses are frequent, and his lips often find themselves on yours. Each of his kiss is full of love, and there’s no doubt that there seems a desperation laced in it, as if he’s scared that this kiss is his last, and you might be gone before he knew it – just like his loved ones. 

Yet, in the softness of your lips, he found reassurance. He’s reminded that amidst the struggles of his life, your relationship remains timeless and true. Just like how he does with his work, he pours his heart and soul into your relationship together, cherishing the bond that you both have towards one another with  tenderness.

“Thank you.” He said, kissing you on your lips with a look that threatens to crumble. “I know I’ve said it too many times, but I can’t help myself. I really am grateful.” 

When you ask for what he’s thanking you for, he could only give you a smile, a sight that shines far brighter than the sun itself.

“Thank you for staying.”

You’d be lying if you said you’ve always thought you’d end up dating the notorious Cavalry Captain, who is more than often a flirtatious man whenever you’re around. KAEYA is not one who shies away from something, and if it means reminding you every now and then that he’s into you, then so be it!

Every waking moment with Kaeya is a thrilling challenge, and you two often find yourselves in a dance of wits and flirts, with a few glasses of wine and other drinks that the tavern sells. The two of you know how to push the other’s buttons, often playing banters and all. Even when you two are now dating, things are still the same – besides the fact that the two of you are free to kiss one another and often crash at each other’s places. 

Yet underneath such playful flirting and bantering, there’s a deep and abiding connection between the two of you that remains unspoken but welcomed.

Unsurprisingly, Kaeya finds home in your lips. To him, it just felt right. Sure, he likes to kiss your hands and cheeks, but it’s a different story when it comes to your lips. For him, stealing a kiss on your lips is not just an ordinary gesture of affection, but rather a declaration of his unwavering love for you. 

And so, more often than not, he prefers kissing you more on your lips.

With a teasing look and smirk on his face, he’d pull you close towards him without warning, his lips finding yours with an urgency that left you both breathless. There’s often laughter and desire lingering around the privacy of your bedroom, and it was a safe sanctuary that Kaeya finds comfort in. 

His laughter would fade into a whisper of “I love you”’s as he traces his cold fingertips on your face that he loves to see at every waking moment. He cherished these kinds of moments, and he’d be damned if he doesn’t spend each one as if it’s his last. And so, he continues to give you more kisses to drown your sweet laughter, for in your warmth and embrace, he could only find his great happiness and peace. 

“Come on, give me another one.” He chuckles, urging you to let him give you one more kiss before the two of you can sleep in each other’s arms. “Just one more kiss, I promise.”

-When you passed so long ago and arrived in Valhalla, you found your place just like you did while you lived, alongside Pokemon, taking care of them and providing a voice for them against the other citizens of Valhalla.

-Your Lord Giratina, being the deity of death itself, followed you there, as he can go as he pleases between the land of the living and Valhalla like most of the other gods.

-He knew you were safe here in Valhalla, but he still came to check on you quite often. Of all his devoted followers, including the leaders like you- he never knew someone quite like you- you were so devoted, but so humble at the same time. It was odd but he doted on you like you were his child, despite you being human.

-Many admired you for the work you did in Valhalla, seeing you taking care of the Pokemon, as you preferred their company to the company of other humans or gods who came to your little corner of Valhalla.

-Hades knew of Giratina, as he knew all deities of death, and he knew how powerful Pokemon could be, and seeing one that embodies death itself was quite a surprise, but he was even more surprised to see you, a simple human, petting Giratina who was laying on his belly like a giant dog, enjoying the scratches and attention you were giving him.

-Hades was curious about you, watching you from afar, seeing that you were quiet, but you were a very hard worker, tending to all the Pokemon around you, from the smallest Eevee to the mighty Giratina, it was admirable really.

-Hades grew fond of you, despite not ever speaking to you, watching you from a distance, admiring your hard work, and seeing what a dedicated person you were.

-It was Giratina who approached Hades first, a deep growl in his throat, thinking that Hades was thinking of threatening you, but when he found no malice, he just sat there, glaring down at the Greek god, wanting to know why he was constantly watching his child.

-You knew that Hades was watching you, it wasn’t an uncommon thing, as many were curious about Pokemon, and you believed that’s what he was looking at, the Pokemon. But you could feel his gaze on you, it was like he was looking at your soul, which unnerved you a bit.

-However, it was a surprise to you when he approached you, taking your hand in his own, lifting it to peck the back of your hand, making your eyes widen as you hadn’t expected it.

-Hades was polite, telling you that he admired you and wished for you to become his partner, having fallen for you. You could only blink in surprise, hearing this before you finally spoke, “So you’re the weirdo that’s been watching me?”

-Hades sputtered in surprise, “Weirdo?!” you nodded, not at all bothered as you turned, holding your hand out and several ghost Pokemon appeared, all of them calling out, “These friends have been telling me that you’ve been watching me for a while. Since you never came over to speak with me- you’re a weirdo.”

-Hades couldn’t help but smile, seeing you spoke your mind, but he apologized for not coming over to you beforehand and being a… weirdo, and watching you from afar.

-You invited him to join you for lunch, a picnic, willing to talk to him, as you wanted to get to know him before you made any big decisions about marrying him, which did make him smile softly.

-Hades could feel the heated stare of Giratina, the silent threat that the Pokemon was giving to him, if he were to ever hurt you or try anything funny. Giratina knows all and even Hades wouldn’t be safe from his wrath.

As the reader would go with Gojo (he forced her to, so he can protect them, but he just wants to spend time with them) it isn't until he gets sealed the reader gets kidnapped by the villains and maybe meets Nanako and Mimiko. ─ Wasn't it safer to lock you in some hidden place to be safe and sound? No, Gojo is so egomaniacal that he think you're safer next to the 'strongest man in the world'.

─ Your face does not change despite everything that happens, you are waiting for an opening to escape but when your eyes meet those of Mahito and Choso you mentally collapse.

─ If it's not the 'good ones' it will be the 'bad ones' who will take you as if it were the hot potato game and you are the ball.

─ What kind of graphic novel has your life become? Where is that truck that runs over you and that strange deity that gives you a second chance in another world?

─ Choso slowly pushed you to the side as Gojo began to fight, were you having a nervous breakdown over the situation? Yes, did you give it importance? No.

─ You tried to calm down by trying to throw garbage into the volcano on Jogo's head but you couldn't because Hanami stopped you.

─ Then everything happened so fast, Gojo was sealed, and honestly, you'd rather be the one in that damn box.

─ Team change! You are part of the bad guys now, thank goodness you have learned to cope with your hysterical attacks because you wanted to tear your skin off at that precise moment more than before, you were sick from the amount of blood and hostility in the place.

─ Although you were able to create a gap to escape from there because they had the priority of killing Itadori to reach Sukuna.

─ Almost, you almost cried with joy when you saw two normal-looking girls wandering around the subway even in the crazy situation that was going on inside.

─ Nanako and Mimiko were the sanest people you've spoken to during these months apart from Utahime.

─ Although you threw all those beautiful hopes in the trash when you heard them ask about Sukuna and Suguru, without knowing that the short period will have been enough for them to take some affection from you, or to use you as a path to Sukuna.

─ You don't know if you are the mentally crazy one or the people around you at this point in the story, but you decided to go along with them and act as friends during this time, trying to find, as always, a method of escape.

─ The 'cute friendship' didn't last a damn when Sukuna decided he wasn't going to grant the girls' wish, well, you'd rather be a fake friend to the two of them than see them die tragically, but at this point you're just adding traumas as if they were pokemon.

─ At least, you appreciated a moment of tranquility talking with girls your age as if you lived a normal life, what a shame it lasted less than an hour, you begin to suspect that your happiness is ephemeral or non-existent at this point.

─ From one extreme to the other you end up in the 'neutrality' of Sukuna and Uraume's side, he drags you into his battle with Jogo, a breaking point where you can escape, only to end up landing on an island somehow.

─ You cry internally of despair when you see Nanami and Maki's fight, looking for a way out with almost no chance of success.

─ You can't take it much longer and you let out everything you've been holding in, the snot slides out and the tears flow while your body has small spasms, here you are again.

─ You close your eyes tightly counting to ten and looking for a happy memory, oh, you really hope that your parents are safe right now, you hope that all this that is happening helps so that they don't have a bad time.

─ It's when your breathing becomes more or less stable that you feel something pulling on your hand, when you open your eyes, you turn pale as you see a giant crab grab your hand with its claws and drag you away.

─ You don't have enough strength to fight against the sea curse and you simply accept your destiny, surprisingly it shows you the exit and you do not hesitate for a second to regain hope in an escape route.

─ Among all the chaos in the subway, you manage to get out onto the street after a while, the first thing you see is a bruised Megumi in fetal position, your first instinct is to approach and help.

─ But you rule out the action immediately, nah, no way, you're not going to help anyone who has made your life miserable.

─ If you're lucky and don't run into Shoko or someone else, you'll spend some time 'missing' from the sorcerers, hoping they'll leave you for dead, though it's a shame they have to see it to believe it, since they've obviously tried to find your body in Shibuya.

─ The only thing you've caused is an even more intense search, hopefully you won't end up in any game where Itadori, Megumi or even Yuta are lurking around.

The battles are definitely gonna be insane for sure and boy is it a shit show amongst the Seven Deities. Like where the hell did Asura even find someone like Trainer. Augus finds the entire thing amusing as we already know he feels about Deus' Great Rebirth.

This new wildcard brings back the very nostalgia he missed when they all used to work together during their Eight Guardian Generals' days. Yasha is questioning the cause even more as this feels closer to divine retribution. The world really hasn't changed and decided they deserve true punishment by lending Asura such a powerful ally.

Reader x Necrozma, Platonic or friendship like (you can change somethings if you want)

Reader, as sort of like ancient or historical figure, who befriended/bonded Necrozma. Known as Sort of like a guardian(or other) and has a weak body (or eyes) conditions. Reader's personality are pure-hearted/minded, creative, and pacifist (or as One Piece Otohime's personality )

((Y/N) can have a Team and you can change it if you want; Team: Primarina, Dusk Lycanroc, Umbreon, Espeon, Minior, Zoroark)

In ancient Alola Times, when the Light Trio (Solgaleo, Lunala, & Necrozma), and Necrozma (In his ultra/original/true form) are once a peaceful creatures that spread light throughout the universe in order to give life to planets. And the time people (and pokemon) worship these trio

At that time, the Light Trio met Reader and the guardian deities, at first, Guardian Deities and Light Trio were distrust and about to fight each other but Reader wouldn't allow it and compromise w/ them, then Necrozma and Reader, they bonded and trusted each other and became partners and friends, so does w/ others, they do enjoy each others company, whether their in training, helping, caring, etc.

Necrozma and Reader has a closest bond, as they enjoy each others company, whether Necrozma taking Reader to the sky to sightseeing, or Reader doing dance moves (similar to z-moves) or sculpting/crafting on the Stones/Crystals as Necrozma watching curiously at Reader doings, and vice versa

People of the Alola, know or aware of Reader and her befriended/bonded with any pokemon including the Legendary pokemon and they won't do anything harmful happens to Reader…

Until the ancient residents of Ultra Megalopolis, they take Reader as Hostage, managed to restrain Necrozma, imprisoning Them within the Megalo Tower, using Necrozma's light as a source of power…

When Reader finally escapes & tries to saved/rescued the confirmed, harmed, Necrozma, she got hurt in the process (eX she's alive but she got blind), which Necrozma had witness the scene & go berserk, resulting in its desire to drain all light from the universe to regain all of the light that it had lost And it rescue Rescue reader and escape as Necrozma find a safe place for Reader

At one time in the past, Necrozma arrived at the Pokémon planet in the Alola region, where it puts Reader to a safe area, and guardian deities saw Necrozma and Reader, they thought Necrozma hurt Reader, and they attacked it but Necrozma defeated the guardian deities, but Solgaleo & Lunala managed to defeat it and banish it back into Ultra Space. Before Necrozma's banishment, it left its 'last' message to them (like; 'take care of Reader' or other).

After Reader recovered (but she got blind) & find out what happened to Necrozma, Reader cries & promise to train, explore, and plan that someday she find & help Necrozma…

While goes on her (new) lifestyles, Reader found the fragments of Necrozma, decided to use these to create something, Z- crystals, rings, & moves, and with the help of the pokemon including the Legendary and also the Alolan people, to experiments and learns how to use it (also you can add that she's the one who gave these to the Totem pokemon, Kahunas, & others). Making Reader unknowingly became the originator/creator of Z-crystals, watches, moves

-It happened so long ago, now that you look back on it, your body old and frail now, as your Bewear napped behind you, snoring softly. You looked up, despite not being able to see, feeling the warm sunshine on your face as you longed to see one of your oldest friends once again.

-When you were a child, you had been out exploring with your Stufful and happened across a massive temple, one that was home to Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma, the Light Trio.

-Inside you saw the Light Trio arguing with the Guardian Deities of Alola, like they were fighting about something, and being the peaceful person you were, you ran into the fray, holding up your little hands, “Don’t fight!”

-Everything froze, seeing you there, their large eyes blinking in confusion before they quickly calmed down, trying to figure out how you got to the temple as Stufful ran up to you, hiding behind your legs, peeking out.

-It was strange, seeing this young child amongst the strongest Pokemon in Alola, but they were all gentle with you, making sure you were safe as you wanted to befriend all of them.

-It was several years afterwards when something terrible happened, after you had been dubbed the priestess of the Light Trio, as you befriended them and they all trusted you, when unknown individuals from Ultra Megalopolis attacked, wanting Necrozma for their own needs.

-However, to get Necrozma, they had to take you first, knowing that you were the one who was the closest to Necrozma, knowing to keep you safe, the massive Pokemon would go without a fight.

-You fought back, telling Necrozma to fight, as you didn’t want to see your friend used in such a way, being turned into a power source to light this Megalopolis but he refused, not willing to put you at risk.

-You weren’t treated badly, as they kept you comfortable to keep Necrozma in check, but that didn’t mean that you were going to cooperate and you fought- you did your best to escape, to rescue your friend from this fate.

-After careful planning and some hard work, you were finally able to do it, escaping your captors and rushing to Megalo Tower where you saw your friend in such a state. You tried to free him, but that’s when you were attacked, being hit from behind, robbing you of your sight.

-Seeing this, Necrozma’s powers went berserk, and he attacked, fueled by his rage to rob the light from the universe to regain what he had lost to save you.

-He brought you home, not caring about his safety, he only cared about you and getting you away from these evil people who hurt you.

-When Lunala, Solgaleo and the Deities saw you and Necrozma after being missing for weeks now, you now blinded and hurt, they all immediately turned on Necrozma, thinking he had been the one to do it.

-He didn’t fight back, knowing they wouldn’t listen, and instead just told them to keep you safe, not wanting to see you hurt any longer, and he fled to Ultra Space, unable to be with you any longer, not willing to risk your safety again.

-When you awoke, no longer being able to see, you called out for Necrozma, but when the others told you, via telepathy, that they chased the one who hurt you away, you broke down, crying harshly, yelling at them that Necrozma was the one who saved you- telling them of the kidnappers and what they did to Necrozma, and that they were the ones who attacked you!

-You were furious, your heart broken that they immediately thought that he hurt you, something they still regretted to this day, not that you are old and grey.

Consider: there's been a bunch of lying, both from and to you guys. We don't have anything to confirm or refute other than cross checking. And most in your universe have said "gods I guess?" which isn't actually helpful given how religions drift over time. Even if everyone on here is being perfectly truthful we have the haziest and most cracked lense on this subject.

then clearly you're not fucking paying attention . it's not "gods i guess", it's "no yea regardless of whether or not the actually exist, most legends are absolutely viewed as gods and deities and have religions dedicated to them".

Arceus vs Solaris: a Battle of the Deities of Light (narration)

Pre-narration note: this is a companion piece to a discussion over on my lore blog, which you can read here.

… What?

This woman was standing alone in confusion. With long, curly platinum blonde hair, and an all black outfit comprised of a v-neck dress shirt and pants with a coat and scarf overneath and high heels at the bottom, she held a red and white ball in her left hand. One thing was very clear to Cynthia, she’s not in the Pokemon battle she thought she was going to be.

When she took in her surroundings she was even more confused. She was at a stone platform, broken marble pillars standing at both sides, resting on top of a mountain’s soil. She knew this place, it was Spear Pillar, resting on top of Mt. Coronet. But the surrounding sky didn’t suggest that, instead looking like a void, all sorts of colours mixing in and out without breaking through the endless purple that covered all of it.

And then she saw that she wasn’t alone. There were two people, one looked like some sort of child wearing old fashioned clothing - styled after the Hisui era, was the woman’s first guess - laying on the ground unconscious.

The other was an elderly man - white hair that connected to an equally white goatee and beard, wearing what looked a mix between a royal white robe with a suit, orange neckline and shoulder pads resting atop an electronic device attached to the front, with big, brown boots. He was on his knees, looking forlorn to the sun.

Wait, no… That’s not the sun.

“It’s too late…”

Something bad was happening, that’s for sure, and so she approached the old man and kneeled in front of him. “What’s going on?” Getting some answers was the most important thing to start off with.

The man looked over in surprise to Cynthia, before slowly looking back to the sky. “Solaris refused to listen to me. And now it is going to bring all to an end. This is my fault…”

“Solaris?” Cynthia matched his gaze to the sky, squinting until she could make out what looked like… An eagle? No, it can’t be that…

Then she heard something behind herself, looking back to see that the child had awoken. They took one look at what was going on and their eyes widened, before looking over to the surrounding region. Staring at Spear Pillar…

Then, without saying a word, they brought out their flute and put it to their lips, playing an ethereal tune.

Cynthia didn’t see anything at first, until the child began walking forwards, their feet ascending into the air as if they were walking on air.

Then she blinked, and the stairway of glowing light was illuminated. Stunned at first, she quickly rushed after the child, matching their pace up the stairs.

She knew what she saw at the top, though she could not believe that it was real. A being of golden, shining light, standing on four legs in the vague resemblance of a deer, an X-shaped cross through its body - wait, no, it stopped at a ring placed right around its waist.

It was Arceus. A shiny Arceus.

THOU DARE HARM MY CREATION

She did not hear a voice speak out, and yet she knew exactly what words were said. She also knew that they weren’t directed at her. She looked back up to the sky.

THOU THREATEN TO TEAR IT ALL ASUNDER

Arceus then began flying right in front of Cynthia’s eyes - no, it would be more accurate to say it simply willed itself up, like the very concepts of gravity, weight, even space itself held no meaning.

THEN THOU SHALT FACE MY JUDGEMENT

Arceus used Judgement!

The X-shaped cross turned a light purple as a hail of beams from the sky rained down upon Solaris, completely consuming it in the purple light.

Only for it to fade, leaving Solaris’s unnerving white glow behind.

“It’s no use.” The old man was delayed in getting to the top, due to his old age and poor condition - whatever had happened prior to all of this had clearly worn him down. “Solaris is truly invincible.”

“Arceus created the world…” Cynthia was quiet, but that’s all that was needed for her to be heard. “If anything has what it takes to get past that, it’s Arceus.”

Arceus’s eyes flashed, one an everlasting blue and the other an ever present pink, and like that two more Pokemonexisted where they didn’t before.

A dark blue, four legged beast with what appeared to have silver armour pieces resembling a helmet, a chest piece, and a fan-shaped tail was on one side.

A pale pink two legged beast with thin purple stripes along its body, a long tail, and an elongated neck leading into a straight frill was on the other.

Cynthia stared upon them, mouth agape. “It’s Palkia and Dialga, masters over time and space!”

Arceus backed up as the other two Pokemon fought, focusing itself as the glows in its eyes vanished, replaced by a black void in each.

Palkia used Spacial Rend!

Palkia lifted its arms up and slammed them together, before sliding one arm up and the other down - all of space in front of it distorting to mirror its movements, right over Solaris. Then it spread its arms apart, the affected space splitting in half to match.

And yet Solaris was fine, an orange orb - with an ethereal eye that stared at whoever looked upon it - opening up and firing out a purple spiky ball. Palkia evaded the attack effortlessly - but yet when it reached where Palkia used to be the being still flinched back as if it were hit, stumbling back.

“The eyes of Solaris,” the old man said. “As it exists throughout all of time… So do its eyes perceive all of it.

Dialga used Roar of Time!

Dialga roared out immediately afterwards -  to Cynthia it lasted only a moment, to the old man it lasted for an hour, and to the child it didn’t last any time at all, causality ripping apart as the roar spread out to Solaris, pushing it back.

Immediately the one orange orb became many orbs, countless orbs, firing off more purple spikes at the two Pokemon.

Palkia began dodging once more, this time distorting space itself to redirect the spikes away from where they once were.

Dialga joined in, distorting time so that the spikes just skip past Dialga without traversing the time in-between.

Then Solaris fired a laser directly at Arceus, launching the Pokemon back, so far back that it can no longer be seen.

Palkia briefly turned to Dialga, and was met with the other Pokemon turning back to it - the two briefly nodding.

Palkia used Spacial Rend!

Dialga used Roar of Time!

Palkia drew its arms in together, folding space down into one singular point ahead of the two Pokemon, while Dialga let out another roar, reaching directly into the impossibly small space, tearing all of time contained within asunder.

Still Solaris was unharmed, ready to launch more at the two of them.

Only for something to grab it from behind.

Giratina used Shadow Force!

It was a shadow from the void, no distinct features besides the glowing red, devilish eyes it possessed and four black tendrils wrapping around Solaris.

“What’s that?” the old man exclaimed in shock, eyes wide. For the first time, hope returned in his frail old body.

“Giratina,” Cynthia said softly, her eyes still locked at the battle for reality. “Even the Renegade Pokemon was summoned to help…”

Arceus used Calm Mind!

The summoner, Arceus, returned with a fierce glare. Its mind and spirit focused solely on this battle as its allies fought for it.

It fired out another Judgement, piercing even harder than it had before.

Solaris flinched from the hit, a piece of its armour breaking off, pale blue fragments floating off into the void.

Just as it looked like victory was night, a new type of orb formed alongside the orange ones.

Blue orbs, which formed right on top of Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.

Palkia instinctively bent space until it was no longer near the orb, watching as the remaining three were instantly crushed away into nothing - only for a barrage of purple orbs to bring down Palkia moments later.

“No!” Cynthia yelled out, reaching an arm out to the sky. Then she dropped to her knees, arm still held up high. “No…”

So that was it. This thing was going to destroy everything…

It was over…

… No. It’s not over yet. Whatever this thing was, she wasn’t going to let it have its way as long as she drew breath. Cynthia grabbed one of her Pokeballs, ready to fight.

THOU SHALT NOT DESTROY MY CREATION

She stopped in place. That was… This peaceful, golden light… Cynthia looked back up to see the source of the light. She couldn’t make out any details behind it, but she knew. This was Arceus, still. But how?

As if to answer her question, the sky suddenly became filled. More Arceus than the eye could see. More Arceus than she could count. Not even the purple void of a sky could be seen, as everywhere she looked was just more Arceus.

Each and every single one of them focused their power together.

Arceus used Judgement!

Together, an endless barrage of light, flashing and glittering in all 18 colours, rained down upon Solaris’s body, the being yelling out in pain and agony. The combined power was too much for it, as more armour broke off from it…

And then it expanded its light, destroying every single one of the Pokemon in a single flash of light, turning up to the golden light that was their source.

FACE MY JUDGEMENT

The two beings focused their raw power, the inhuman white light clashing against the life filled golden light.

Cynthia, the old man, and the child all shielded their eyes. This light… it was too much… They… can’t… even…

…

Cynthia blinked, looking around. What was-

“Hey, your Pokemon?”

That’s right, she was about to fight a trainer who had challenged her for the position of Champion. Still, something lingered in the back of her mind even as she threw out Spiritomb against her opponent, shouting commands for it to follow.

It was almost like she had forgotten something.

Post narration note: for those of you who didn’t realise it, the child is meant to be the Hisuian protagonist (and were left nondescript on purpose for you to apply whatever appearance you personally imagine for them), and the old man is meant to be the Duke of Soleanna, who lacks a personal name unlike his daughter Elise
