Update: Two Week Fake-ation

Hey guys. It's ya boi, Shit-At-Remembering-Drafts man. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm on a two week vacation from work! Had some vacation time I could spend, decided I'd get away for a while and... use it to study for a certification so I can get a better job lol.

Because I'm studying so much in these next two weeks, from today (the 10th) to the 23rd, my activity is probably gonna be pretty sparse. I'll still come in and check on things here and there, but don't expect any big replies or what have you on tumblr.

Now if anyone wants to keep in touch in that time, best way is my Discord, which is open to mutuals. For mutuals who want it but don't have it, DM me and I'll shoot it your way. I do Discord RPs as well if that's what you guys want, though again, I'm probably gonna be kinda bad at replying while I'm studying lmao.

"It's honestly impressive how stingy some of these guys can be. They wanna hire people for odd jobs, but there's so many bounty hunters walking around that are so messy in both looks and handwriting. I didn't think people could be so quick to pass up job applications in these parts.

It seems to have been mixed in with her paperwork, rather than getting thrown away like the others. Not the happiest of memories either of them should be reflecting on at the moment, so...

Well, they gave him a straight answer. No postulating, no monologuing... it was weirdly refreshing to see from someone with an aura such as theirs. It didn't quite put him at ease, but he wasn't ready to jump into a fight with them. Not like with Wyzen, where every word out of that man's mouth made Asura beyond angry.

"...Asura," he would soon respond. "My name is... Asura." He didn't have a title anymore. He didn't even know what he would refer to himself as these days. Was he still a Guardian Deity? Was that just a title? He wasn't so sure. This was an uncertainty that definitely seemed obvious, even through his angry demeanor.

The scowl, the wariness.. honestly, these were all very fair reactions as far as Atieno was concerned. It's easy for them to notice when people could sense something so much more about them.

They couldn't really blame anyone for being cautious.

"I go by Atieno, these days. But in terms of what I am.. I embody the universe's dark matter. And you?" The look of him had called some stories to mind but they didn't want to assume incorrectly.

He could feel right away that whoever this person was, they were more than a human. Were they associated with the Generals? Were they a deity? It was hard for him to tell, and that alone had him on edge.

"...Who are you?" he grunts, scowling at them all the while.

Night had fallen. The roads were dangerous at night, so most of those who were going long distances tended to make camp. It certainly made roadside ambushes a bit more difficult, but for the ones who went out looking for trouble... all it meant was a little more effort to find their prey.

The shadowy creature had been wandering the roads for some time, causing as much trouble as he could. While many raided camps and caravans for little more than thievery, this one was different. He may have taken a thing or two, but he didn't care about anything except the thrill of devastation. Destroying the carts, ransacking their stuff, causing a huge ruckus... all in the name of trying to draw him out of hiding.

It didn't take long for him to eventually find one, his glowing red eyes staring down a small campsite. Two people... well, it's not the biggest group, but it might be enough to cause some trouble. Gripping his sword tight, he slowly approaches the site with a devious grin.

"Hm... maybe I'll get a half-decent fight this time around."

"Well now, look at what we've got here; Hyrule's Second Finest..."

A sudden burst of magical energy in his own timeline had sent him to a version of Hyrule that was similar in many ways, but definitely not the same as his own. Despite this, he was steadfast in his goals - there was a Link in this timeline, he could feel it. And he was going to do everything he could to kill him.

To start with, he decided to cause some trouble in Castle Town. His piercing red eyes lighting up the night as he did everything from destroying produce to even setting fire to a stall. And then the guards showed up to stop him.

Drawing his sword and shield, both of which seemed to be dark mirrors of the Hylian Shield and Master Sword. He has a tight grip on the sword, which he points at a certain guard.

"Alright then... I have to keep myself occupied until he gets here, after all. Come at me."
