Discovered you can completely and utterly turn the Shibajuku head inside out if you get it hot enough (and cut a large headcap).

I am super pleased because I can shave off the eyewells all the way! This has been a big problem inside Poochie's head, I could never angle the xacto well enough to get the vinyl remnants out to allow for better eye placement. I can't turn her inside out any more either lol. But this head might have better chances.

If she cools back down right, anyway. I've flipped her back out now and she looks ... funny. I don't know if the turning overstretched her, or if the interior vinyl removal is making her eyes sag a bit, but she looks strange around the bridge of her nose at the moment 😅

Some of my favorite in tape designs!!!!!! (That I designed.. lol)

They are all "stamp" type tape, i even paid the factory extra to get custom molds for these because I love the differing lengths and shapes of real stamps as well as amore delicate line of circles vs the default molds with huge circles.

There was a little drama at some point because the factory was letting people use my mold that I paid for but I cleared it up @_@;;

Anyway I don't go to cons anymore so I will probably have to stop selling washi tape cause they don't do so hot online especially for the price we have to sell them at to make it worth it for these complex designs + foil etc. No regretti tho, to see them in person is worth it.

All my washi tape (there's more than this too lol) are buy 4 get 1 free~

I made a beeblebear! was easier than anticipated, but a bit fiddly at times. the heads feel a bit fragile, but since he's mostly just for display it should be okay. I might make him a tiny Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster at some point, or a towel. maybe both

I found a mossy green pair of pants at the thrift store that I fell in love with. It's got detachable legs so you can wear them as shorts, like six huge pockets, one of those plastic locking belt buckles built into the pants, a perfect fit and lots of space for customization

They're more green irl, idk why the camera is graying out the green (especially in the middle) but it's fine

Turns out these are boy scout uniform pants. Didn't even realize it until I got home. So I think the perfect thing to do with these is to turn them into faggoty anarchist solaprunk patch pants :) this will be a long term project but it's one I'm excited to add to my growing pile of ongoing projects to start!!I'll post updates maybe eventually

I never really found a good pair of pants to turn into sturdy patch pants until I found these for like 10 bucks, and it's funny that the one pair of pants that clicked for me was a part of a uniform for a fucked up and evil conservative religious organization. Gonna fuck them up freak style :)

They have six big pockets, two on each side and two in the back, and all of them minus the main side pockets have flaps that fold over the top of them. Theres a built in black belt with a black plastic side release clasp as the buckle, and under it, a zipper and button just like regular pants. The first two images are of the front and back of the whole garment, the third image is a close up of the belt, the fourth and fifth images are of the front and back of the pants with the legs detached, the sixth image is a close up of the zippers on the legs, and the last image is a close up of the back pockets. The camera on my phone desaturates the color of the pants, and there's a faint gradient on all the images where it looks more gray in the middle of the garment and it faded to green a little bit towards the outer edges. In real life, the pants are a solid mossy green shade that you'd find on tactical clothes or in camouflage patterns. End ID]

This was my first time taking the eyes and nose out of a plush during the modification. It was very frightening. Probably for little Chantillything (Tilly for short) as well.

Tangkou doll rebody 💕

The original doll proportion was this:

Which is more of a Pullip proportion. Toy Box Philosopher had a couple thorough review of the two dolls.

Tangkou was released back in 2012. It’s like a combination of Pullip’s outside and a Blythe’s inside. Her origin is a bit mysterious, since the company that made her basically went poof after this doll release.

I love her face, but I like my dolls with a taller body, so I gave her an Integrity Toys knock-off body. I had to carve a groove on the neck peg to fit her neck hole. The color match is okay, the body is just a bit darker. I’m not sure about her hands though.

I really despise the way they designed the inside of her neck area. There is a flat surface right above the neck joint space and it acts as a lever sometimes, so her neck peg is always trying to pry apart the head plates when the head is turned a certain way. And the plastic pieces at her neck hole is so thin, mine already broke off a corner. She’s more high maintenance than Blythe for modding for sure.
