Which is more of a Pullip proportion. Toy Box Philosopher had a couple thorough review of the two dolls.

Tangkou was released back in 2012. It’s like a combination of Pullip’s outside and a Blythe’s inside. Her origin is a bit mysterious, since the company that made her basically went poof after this doll release.

I love her face, but I like my dolls with a taller body, so I gave her an Integrity Toys knock-off body. I had to carve a groove on the neck peg to fit her neck hole. The color match is okay, the body is just a bit darker. I’m not sure about her hands though.

I really despise the way they designed the inside of her neck area. There is a flat surface right above the neck joint space and it acts as a lever sometimes, so her neck peg is always trying to pry apart the head plates when the head is turned a certain way. And the plastic pieces at her neck hole is so thin, mine already broke off a corner. She’s more high maintenance than Blythe for modding for sure.

お人形コレクションはいろいろあるんですが

これはTangKou Dollという中国のお人形。

あまり日本で持ってる人居ないと言いますか、見てもブライスやプーリップのパクリみたいに思われるかもしれない。

確かに上記2つを合わせてカスタ��したような雰囲気あります。

どちらかと言えばアイギミック含めてプーの方に近いかも。

作りはかなりチープなんですが、メイクの吹きつけがわりと綺麗なのと、髪の量と質が思ってたよりも良くて素材は悪くないなと思いました。黒髪でもツヤツヤで手触りいい。

ただ、やっぱり作りはチープなんですよね😂

頭皮は厚みのある硬めのラバーっぽい素材でネジ止めもなく、ぱかんと簡単に外れます。

ウィッグ交換できますと説明あったけど、ウィッグを別売りしてる訳では無いので、別デザインのタンコウドールの頭皮と交換するしかないです😂

こちらは頭皮外して顔の中にあるアイギミック。

ブライスのようにカラコンの色が変わる訳ではなく、瞳の位置を左右に動かせるのと瞼を閉じることができる仕様なのでやはりプーリップに近いでしょうかね。

瞼にはレースのような模様が描かれてて、本当にカスタムでよく見かけるようなデザインになってますw

でもお顔はわりと可愛いと思うんですよねー。

口角のあがったアヒル口にアーモ���ド型の目。

デフォルメされた顔のアバターをキラパラでよく見かけますが、そんな感じで巨頭人形好きな人も割といそうな気がした。

体は関節稼働タイプで華奢なんだけど、どの人形の服が着まわせるかまだわからないw

買ってから開封はしてみたものの、巨頭人形並べるスペースもなく、保管はやはり箱に入れといた方がいいのでたまに出して来てお顔見てる感じです。

ドールはプラでできてるので紫外線に当たると劣化して黄変するので管理に気を使うし、沢山持ってても箱入りのままがうちには多いんです。

タンコウドール、このチャイナ服以外にもデザインいろいろあるんですが

うーん、、、この赤ずきんはどうしてヒョウ柄をパイピングにしたのか😂なんで余計なものつけるのーってのは着せ替えゲーのお洋服にもありますね😂😂

中の子は金髪で瞳もグリーンだし可愛いけれども。

私が本当に欲しかったのはホワイトのボアウィッグの男の子にも見えるデザインだったんですがもうどこにも売ってなくてチャイナ服をお迎えしたんです。

eBayには新古品あったけど高いですし、私は中国のショップで通販しました。

もう5年以上前なので今でも売ってるのかわからないけれども。

I said I was done with big-headed dolls but here we are.

My boyfriend got me an early christmas gift in the form of a shibajuku girl. I had yoko before but sold her off because I just did not like her. He got blackbaited a bit because he didn't read the listing that well and thought that she would have dark skin.

I like her but everything is gonna have to change. The hair will go, i will open her skull and remove her eyes for smaller pupils, and redo her makeup. I also would like her on a bulkier body. I don't really like her original body, unless I cinch that waist with boiling water (has anyone tried it?)

I got my old Tangkou girl out for the mixture. She, too, is in need of a better body. Her hair will also have to go. I can't believe I got one of these before even getting a blythe but that might change this xmas.

I have other taeyang and pullip dolls in storage back in France. I'll bring them someday.

The Tangkou clothes were made before I knew how to sew properly, but I quite like this eye-hat which I think was knitted to a Pullip hat pattern. I need to get round to making them a better wardrobe. Meanwhile here is Jenny Wonderpants (Tangkou Chinese Girl) lounging around the house.

I went to a local doll meet today and a bunch of people were selling stuff (I wanted so much it was painful) but because of Christmas I have like... zero money. :( One of the people who attended had the vampire Tangkou doll they were looking to get rid of, and I LOVE tangkou dolls but they are scarce and hard to obtain nowadays. They said “make me any offer, I really just want to get rid of her” but I sadly explained that I have literally zero money right now and they just... gave her to me. I was like, “are you sure??? You don’t have too!” And they said, “Yeah, I want her to go to a good home so she is yours!”

It was so nice I almost cried.

My fertility goddess doll! Her name is Oon. You may call her Goddess Oon. She looks rather mortal right now cause of the lack of good clothes but hopefully that’ll change soon.

Made with an ICY doll head and this strange preggo Barbie body knock-off. I had to enlarge the neck hole from the ICY head to fit the preggo body neck but it worked out really well. I also prefer her with a longer body than her default shorter one.

I will be putting as many 1:100 tiny people in that egg-shaped belly because it makes the most sense, of course. I’ll also have to put a bit of makeup on her and make her some godly outfits.

Mixing doll parts is really fun.

I got my very fist (and probably only) Tang Kou doll today. The dress is handmade by the seller, as she is 2nd hand. Her hair is a bit horrendous in the sense that you can see the plugs and she does not have much. Her eye mechanism works very well although her eye chips are pretty basic. She has a bit of damage on the makeup of her eyelid but that will be a good excuse to customise her. The makeup itself is very simple, just a bit of blush. She is quite shiny though so definitely in need of MSC. Her neck wobbles as well but I will re-body her (i want a curvy barbie body on her, but if it takes too long I'll just get a pure neemo). Her body is quite nice and sturdy, although the range of movement is quite limited Overall i am happy. More pics soon as the light is very shitty this morning.
