healthy and happy
here I'm gonna dump and ramble about the progress for drawing this!
// this section will contain huge spoilers for AITSF NIRVANA INITIATIVE!!!
the concept was older mizuki comforting younger mizuki, with the title decided as "healthy and happy" after kaname date's quote: "I wish... that Mizuki grows up healthy and happy."
I usually include hands as a focus in my art because they add more visual variety to the composition. In the end I got rid of them since it was looking quite cramped, especially as I settled on both of their faces taking up most of the piece.
(hamster aiba was also gonna be included but it made the bottom of the piece too busy)
back to the title "healthy and happy" - since this piece could also be about bibi, it becomes ironic: just before date disappeared, bibi's heart condition worsened; and after date disappeared, mizuki was sad.
