Stardust and The Crow ch 207 An End to the Final Shape
Seighdra reached up to run her fingers through Crow’s hair, but when her hand met the shaven sides of his head instead, she paused, remembering his new style. His hair was now tied back in a samurai-style bun, accentuated with an Awoken hair accessory.
“Sorry, I forgot,” she said with a soft laugh, pulling her hand away.
Crow smirked. “At least you can still play with it at home in bed.”
Seighdra smiled, her fingers brushing his cheek. “It suits you well, you know. I always liked your hair the other way, but now... I can see your whole beautiful face all the time.” She hesitated, then added, “But you didn’t cut it just because Cayde called it a stupid haircut, right? That look was you for years – long before Cayde was ever Cayde.”
Crow chuckled. “No, it wasn’t about Cayde. I just... needed a change. Something new for a new chapter.” Crow then sighed “That was only part of it,” Crow admitted, his voice softening. “I needed something different – something that was me, Crow... not Uldren. And if I was going to be the new Hunter Vanguard, I wanted a new look to match. Cayde gave me the cowl and cloak, so I thought why not change the hair, too.” He hesitated for a moment, then looked at Seighdra with uncertainty. “Do you really like it?”
“Of course I do,” Seighdra reassured him, her voice warm as she leaned in for a slow, deep kiss. She pulled back just briefly, a playful smirk on her lips. “And now I can pull your hair out when we're ‘in the moment.’” She giggled, then kissed him again.

Dragon Age: Veilguard | The Ultimate Preview Summary
shinobi602 on twitter shared this amazing in-depth summary of all new information about the game that we have so far:
Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X and PC in Fall 2024
Consoles: Quality and Performance modes (60FPS)
Photo mode is confirmed
Fully offline single player, no EA account linking, no micro-transactions'
Play as a human, elf, dwarf, or Qunari
Choose your backstory, 6 factions to choose from when you create your character, all with "deep roots in Thedas": Antivan Crows, Grey Wardens, Shadow Dragons, Veil Jumpers, Lords of Fortune, The Mourne Watch
Each faction offers 3 distinct buffs each, like being able to hold an extra potion or do extra damage against certain enemies, and the odd reference in dialogue
You can customize your Inquisitor from Dragon Age: Inquisition in the character creator and "make a few key decisions that will impact how The Veilguard begins"
There are some "killer cameos" from past games that show up
Warrior Class: Use a sword and shield or two handed weapon to send enemies flying
Rogue Class: Utilizes quick movement and reflexes. You can wield a bow or dual swords with "powerful, precise strikes for lethal damage"
Mage Class: Use magic to incinerate, freeze, electrocute and crush. Some cast from afar, while others prefer close quarters combat
Each class also has 3 sub-specializations, such as duelist, saboteur, or veil ranger for the Rogue
Classes also have unique 'resource system's, for example, the Rogue has "momentum", which builds up as you land consecutive hits, and each will always have a ranged option
One Rogue momentum attack is a "hip fire" option we saw for the Rogue's bow, letting you pop off arrows from the waist
Another momentum attack for the Warrior lets you lob your shield at enemies
Quests are more handcrafted and mission based, curated with alternate paths, secrets to discover and optional content
There are also open ended explorable areas
Party size of 3 during combat, ala Mass Effect
Combat is focused on real-time action, dodge, parry, counter, "sophisticated animation canceling and branching", using risk-reward charge attacks designed to break enemy armor layers
Enemies have elemental weaknesses and resistances, and you can chain together elemental combos for extra damage
One example is a squadmate using a gravity well attack to suck enemies in, another slowing them down, and the player then unleashing a big AOE attack
You don't take direct control of companions like past Dragon Age games, but you can still pause and issues ability commands for you and your allies
There is a hub area for the player like Skyhold and the Normandy, called The Lighthouse
Companions can eventually start romancing other characters if you opt not to romance them
Each companion also has unique missions tied to them that play into the larger story
Nudity confirmed - romance scenes can get "a little spicy"
"Incredibly deep" character creator: 5 categories including: Lineage, Appearance, Class, Faction, Playstyle
Players can also choose different body sizes and shapes
Dozens of hairstyles to choose from, with "individual strands of hair rendered separately and reacting quite remarkably to in-game physics", pulled from EA Sports
Character creator lets you adjust the lighting so you can be sure your character looks good
The team wanted to balance the look of the game with both light and darkness. "When everything is dark, nothing really feels dark. For this one, we really wanted to build that contrast again."
Skill tree is "vast", you can also set up specific companions with certain kits, from tackling specific enemy types to being more of a supporting healer or flexible all-rounders
There are tarot cards you go through during the character creation process that will let you choose decisions from past games to implement into Veilguard
The team teases you may lose some characters during the story
#i found this super helpful because there was so much that you kind of lose track and get overwhelmed#dragon age 4#dragon age#dragon age: the veilguard#da:tv#vg: dragon age 4#series: dragon age

harlem pin-up locs ♥️
here’s a 1920s-inspired pin-up dreadlock twist hairstyle that is a modern take on the finger wave hairdo. finger waves have been a staple in the black community for decades as it was very popular during the 1920s, 1930s, 1990s, and even now as we enter the 2020s. this hairstyle was largely inspired by these two pictures here and here so huge credit to the hairstylist aggie_hair on ig for making this beautiful innovation! my hair is named after the new york neighborhood of harlem and specifically the harlem renaissance. if you don’t know, the harlem renaissance or the “new negro movement” was a vibrant african american cultural movement that happened during the 1920s and 1930s. similar movements also happened in other cities throughout the american north due to the occurrence of the great migration where thousands of african americans moved up north to escape violent racial discrimination and persecution enforced by the racist jim crow laws in the deep south (although life in the north wasn’t that much better). i would love to say more as this is one of my favorite historical periods to research/learn about like ever but, i highly encourage y’all to do your own research on it (especially if you’re nonblack and/or not familiar with african american history) and learn about the several artists, thinkers, and innovators of that time period! tysm for reading and again tysm to my lovely testers! <333

What do you think of crow’s new look? I for one love it!
Me too!
My HC will be that Crow fixed his hairstyle because Cayde called it stupid. Alternatively, since he's now Vanguard and has to be more presentable, they told him to tone it down and be more professional. Vanguard leaders with hair are rare! Lmao!
I also love the cloak Cayde gave him.

a/n: it upsets me so much how i haven’t written about nanami when he was literally my theme for like 2 months. we’re gonna change that now😻 also, apologies for suddenly disappearing, a lot has happened and i just needed a small break from writing. i’m slowly getting back into writing, but please give me some time.🙏🏽
imagining nanami kento’s hands running through your hair as you sleep. his heavy palm smack dab in the middle of your small scalp, rough fingerpads making their way through your bohemian braids that were in his colors; black and yellow. your sleeping form was so comfortable, and the braids (with the protective products you put in them) glistened in the soft moonlight. he loved how they looked on you, your pretty brown skin complimented his colors so well.
so well in fact that the day you got home and he saw your new hairstyle, you were already forced into a pretty arch, his large hand gripping onto the ends of your fresh style as his large cock pounded deeply inside you. you mewled and crowed, but your cries were falling on deaf ears. he could barely hear your voice through the soft squelching of your creamy brown pussy around his throbbing pale cock.
“such a pretty girl, sporting my colors,” he groaned out, landing a harsh smack on your ass as he basically manhandled you. but you loved it, you knew he would act this way from you wearing his signature colors. you knew you would need some good aftercare after this however, because he seemed he had no intention of stopping even after your 5th orgasm.
so, nanami loves running his hand through your hair, occasionally pulling on it softly to elicit a small reaction out of you. he knew you loved it, and you knew you loved it. because you did, and his cock definitely did as well.

Day 12 - First time
Thanks again for putting mushy may together @forlorn-crows! Wc:700 First time Phantom gets a haircut
Cirrus watched as Phantom struggled with getting his hair out of his face while playing on his switch. It was starting to get long, almost past his shoulders, and it clearly bothered him. She walked over to him and brushed his hair out of his face for him. “You okay, Bug?” She asked. Phantom paused his game and turned to look at her. “No, I can't see anything because my hair won't stay in place!” He told her as he put the switch away. “How about a haircut?” She suggested. Phantom thought about it. He’d never had a haircut before, but his hair was always in his eyes and it was impossible to manage. “I guess” He sighed, pulling his hair back, “Who will cut it?” He then asked. Cirrus smiled, bouncing on her feet “I'll cut it, I cut the others hair all the time” she said excitedly “I’ll do it now if you want”
She pulled him to her bathroom and sat him down on the counter so he was facing the mirror. She pulled out one of the drawers and started taking out everything she would need while Phantom tried to decide how he wanted his hair. Deciding what hairstyle he wanted was proven to be very difficult, he just wanted less hair and he didn't really know how he wanted it to look.
“Okay, so how do you want your hair?” She asked as she started combing through it with her fingers. I don't know, just shorter and out of the way” He asked more than said, wringing his hands together in his lap. “Okay, we can do that, but I need a bit more, like, do you want it all gone or just a trim?” Phantom looked down, he really didn't know, well, he knew he didn't want it all gone, but just less hair and for it to look good. “I want to have hair left that looks good, you decide how to make it look good though” He didn't want to think about it more, there were too many options and he couldn't decide. “That I can do” She said as she started holding up his hair in different directions, looking and measuring it.
“I'm just gonna wet your hair a bit, so it's easier to cut, okay?” She made sure to tell him what she was going to do, so he wouldn't get scared or overwhelmed by everything new. Phantom nodded and she started spraying his hair and brushing it. When it was untangled and knot-free she started combing through it and cutting the ends off, chicking in with Phantom every step of the way. She cut some layers and cut his bangs to frame his face in a nice way. He had quite wavy hair naturally, so layers suited him very well.
When the cutting was done, it was time to make his neck look sharp. “This might tickle a bit and be a little noisy” She warned before she started. Phantom giggled as she cleaned his neck up, the buzzing tickling.
“We’re almost done, but would you like some temporary color in your hair?” She asked, holding up a purple, a blue and a red color. Phantom wanted to and decided to color the white in his hair purple. He loved his white, but purple would be fun to have.
Cirrus put the hair dye in her hand and started applying it in his bangs, making sure every white hair turned out purple. They let the color sit while Cirrus cleaned up everything she wouldn't need any more and when the timer rang, they rinsed it out. She blow dried his hair and made sure to give it volume and style it a little bit extra.
“And we're done…” She said as she held a mirror up behind him. “What do you think?” Phantom stared at himself in the mirror. There was way less hair than before and it wasn't in his eyes, but it still had length. “Wow, it looks amazing Cirrus!” He said as he hoped down from the counter. “Thank you so much!” He crashed into her in a hug, continuing to thank her.

The Sideburns Scheme Post #23
(For reference: The Sideburns Scheme)
Crowley, Good Omens 2, Episode 2, The Clue, blameless goats
...
Hairstyle Notes
The hair is longer and more fluffy than the previous scene. It is also longer than the scene that started off the whole episode and minisode.
From the front when closer to Aziraphale, it looks more red.
The curls themselves change, dependent on camera angle too. If one wishes to lean into the character POV approach, the more red hair seen from the front is possibly Aziraphale's POV.
I still prefer to NOT lean into such a thing and think of it as generally shared myself because I put so much stock into how important the hiss is for this scene. It's important for Crowley since it's such an integral part of his own Threshold Trick for himself (The Sunglasses Trick). It's important for Aziraphale to remember that it happened because it's part of the message he is receiving.
Crowley's hair is generally dynamic throughout season 2, and the present day of season 2 even shows it can change based on his emotions.
Regardless, we are now shown a new type of space for this era.
This space is a human-built structure with no roof. It has not experienced the damage the barn did. It will be damaged later through the storm. This space also has a fountain, so water is nearby. There are no humans on entry, and there will be no humans by the time this scene ends.
As such, this hairstyle is the closest match to a "supernatural" reading when comparing to the season 2 present day.
The space recognizes Crowley is a demon, or at least a supernatural being. The crows already within it are the goats he transformed into crows earlier in the minisode.
...
Earthly Objects
(For reference: Earthly Objects)
Most of the scene looks to be outright avoiding earthly object touches, largely to help focus on the events of the scene itself with the revelation that the crows were the goats. As such, Crowley was, in a way, "holding" an earthly object during the scene through a miracle touch. Aziraphale himself touched the crows through changing them back to their original forms as goats. Aziraphale used Crowley's name for the time period, "Crawley".
During this scene is the next touch of The Sunglasses Trick.
Here is a GIF:
This time, we're at the second Single of a group of three Singles that will become a Triple.
Crowley makes a pocket between his right arm and beard, using his right hand to touch the right end piece. This pocket exists for both cuts that show the touch. The arm casts a shadow over where the season 2 present day Tied Hands would be. His headband is like his substitute Belt Head. He received overhead lights before this set of minisode scenes started. He also didn't show his actual hands in the preceding scene.
The sunglasses are different than the last Single, he hissed, and he was miracle-holding crows-that-are-secretly-goats. As a reminder, the sunglasses being different are what demonstrate this group of three is the one for three Singles to become a Triple. The hissing is what they have in common for their eventual switch to a Triple.
This touch really stands out in the Threshold Tricks overall because it is the only touch that takes place in a minisode. All of the others are in the season 2 present day.
Why?
Well, I'm always theorizing though I believe in some of my theories more strongly than others, but nonetheless, here's a reminder that's what I'm doing before I give my answer.
As stated before, these minisodes are stories with hidden messages between Crowley and Aziraphale. Gabriel arrived with a cardboard box at least twice. With the possibility of making themselves forget things from the first time, the characters left themselves clues to solve their own puzzle.
This scene is giving Aziraphale a huge clue that amounts to "goats". I mean, it could do more and mean more, but that's the relevant part for a certain step he's going to take in the present day.
Among the various clues listed on the record is "Goat Gate," so Aziraphale will consider the clues from the minisode, including the goats that are part of this scene, and decide to get himself to Goat Gate.
The next touch for The Sunglasses Trick will not be until episode 5.
Time to pay attention to the pockets.
After Crowley crosses the threshold on entry, he is shown pocketed between two plant stands before Aziraphale arrives.
When Aziraphale is first shown, he's also revealed to have passed a pocket of two plant stands.
I don't think these plant stand pockets mean much more than a general clue about how important the plants are for the season 2 overall connection and ending with The Door Trick, The Door Catch, and the maintained Green of Rainbow Connection.
Probably one of the most important pockets in the scene, communicating the same thing as above, is when Aziraphale and Crowley themselves are pocketing a plant as Aziraphale challenges Crowley to look him in the eye before the hiss. This pocket disappears after Crowley says his full line about "blameless goats", then briefly reappears as Aziraphale starts to walk away.
Crowley's robe makes a pocket with itself and the ground that is generally shadowy and black. It further opens slightly over the ground while the first crow bleats like a goat. That serves as a clue that yes, Crowley somehow lowered his guard enough to let it be known the crows were goats.
The last cut shows Crowley and Aziraphale pocketing the goats, before that cut is pushed away to the camera's left.
...
For my tangential reading progress, I finished re-reading Good Omens. I discussed some of that in this post here: Finished Re-Reading Good Omens. I have a lot more highlights and thoughts, but I don't have the energy to go over them in a post like this one, for now.
I started reading Eric by Terry Pratchett this morning.
...
Story Commentary
Here we are again in the minisode with Crowley first, then Aziraphale. This time we are connected from a scene where we entered by looking at a book. Both of them were on screen, and Crowley received the focus to imply he was the one remembering that previous scene.
Eventually, we're going to pull out of this book and be left with Aziraphale, leaving us to assume that Crowley left sometime during the recollection of the minisode.
This scene is more serious than their last encounter because Aziraphale regards Crowley as a serious threat who destroyed Job's goats and on his way to destroy Job's children.
Crowley himself doesn't seem to take things seriously until Aziraphale draws closer and challenges him by saying he, Aziraphale, doesn't think he, Crawley, wants to destroy Job's children.
The two continue into a more dramatic confrontation that includes the touch on the sunglasses with the hiss.
Before that hiss, Aziraphale brings up the angel Crawley was, and Crawley says quite pointedly, "The angel you knew is not me."
This same angel was shown to not give his name in Before the Beginning.
Season 1 gave us more than one scene showing Crowley doesn't like being a demon. He remarked that he just hung around the wrong people, that he only ever asked questions, that he never asked to be a demon, and so on. Season 2 shows us here—and will show again—that doesn't mean he wants or wanted to go back to being an angel.
Season 2 also doesn't show us Crowley having the same level of regret at his demonic status that season 1 did. The Earthly Objects game even goes so far as to demonstrate Crowley play rather strategically, taking advantage of his status as a snake-eyed demon. The sunglasses are his door, yes, but they are also his accessory. They can switch and give the preferred points he wants within the game, dependent on his own play. He receives multiple Overhead Lights to his left, including and especially the sun in The Door Trick.
He said "former demon" in front of Shax earlier, but he'll drop the "former" when talking to Muriel later.
Moving on, Aziraphale still challenges Crowley further to look him in the eye and tell him he, Crawley, wants to do the destroying of Job's children.
Not only do we see the hiss, we are shown a specific choice in wording by Crowley in what he says, which is, "I want to. I long to destroy the blameless children of blameless Job, just as I destroyed his blameless goats."
It sounds menacing and works effectively. It's actually a lot like the mixed tutorial sequence we received in episode 1, in that there is a hidden truth within a lie. There is a big lie here of Crowley destroying the goats. He didn't do that. There is a truth within that lie. He longs to "destroy" the children just as he did the goats—which would be, not destroying them. Also, Rule of Three. The word "blameless" was used 3 times.
Crowley's lie and hiss are so effective that the lighting shifts to indicate Aziraphale's angel light dimmed, and Crowley's demon darkness darkened by making his robe look significantly more black.
Season 1 showed us Aziraphale can lie to Crowley in its present day and get away with it. Season 2 shows us, at least in 2500 BC, Crowley could lie to Aziraphale and get away with it.
With Aziraphale feeling defeated, Crowley lets Aziraphale learn the truth. That's then Crowley taking a chance on trusting Aziraphale this far back in their history together.
Aziraphale figures out the crows are goats and looks rather pleased with himself for doing so.
With the last cut shifting the way it does to the camera's left, it's reasonable to think that could be Crowley leaving the room.
However, Crowley's next present day scene is going to be the first touch of The Pocket Trick. We just had another touch in The Sunglasses Trick. The Tied Hands were retied before we entered the book to watch this part of the minisode.
If possible, something in this minisode should retie them, besides just being a minisode. I suspect that something is going to be the part with a sign saying, "THE NEXT DAY". I don't know if that means Crowley leaves the room when that part is happening on screen or not, but it's the type of thing I look for when playing the games of the story. I'll mention another oddity he does with his hands later when Job's children are restored, in the scene before we actually get back to the season 2 present day.
...
That's it for this post. Sometimes I edit my posts, FYI.

- new hairstyle! My hair is long enough for space buns now and I will make it everyone’s problem
(Not listed, several hours of just lying in bed, with the music, after the RAADS, in which I did a shit ton of nothing and thought of more ideas for my fic)

Hades Rewrite
His personality
Hades is known to be a stubborn and grouchy god. When he's with friends or family, he's a kind and inquisitive man who really enjoys philosophy and thrifting.
His fashion
He dresses very modern to fit in with the new souls coming into his realm and to ease them into death. He generally wears goth fashion or anything formal looking, most of what he wears is thrifted. His hair is usually long and worn up in a ponytail or bun, when short, he usually has it down.
His background
He and his brothers (Zeus and Poseidon) come from the titans Kronos and Rhea. He was swallowed by Kronos when he was a wee lad, and is forever (mentally) scarred by it. He later becomes king of the underworld. He has a strained relationship with Zeus and a neutral relationship with Poseidon, he's on decent terms with Hera, and is neutral to Hestia and Demeter.
Design notes
I wanted him to feel more lax. I also wanted him to be both feminine and masculine to offset what the hell we got in LO. The white streak in his hair is from stress. I also genuinely could not, for the life of me, decide what color his shading should be, so it's inconsistent as balls. His color scheme is primarily his holy colors and blood red. The Hades in the second picture will never be seen again with that hair cut because it's way too close to my dad's hairstyle and I don't want to think about that. Unless the people who love it beg me to keep it, it's never happening again unless I made it plot relevant. Fun tidbit: him and my DnD character share a design!
What else should you know?
He uses he/him and collects thrifted clothes like a crow with shiny things. He likes pomegranate wine, snowy evenings, and dolmades. Him and Kore are about the same age. His brothers also stressed him out to the point where he got his grey streak.
Thanks for reading!

Unreliable Narrators
If you've watched Good Omens, there's a reasonably good chance you've got several conspiracy boards tucked somewhere in your brainspace. And what's great about a show like Good Omens is that we've been encouraged by the creators to poke our noses in deep and examine our theories. Even the show itself subtly tells us, "things are not what they seem." For evidence, might I call upon the book, The Crow Road, which appears several times throughout Season 2--notably when Jimbriel is alphabetizing books in his own special way and again when Muriel shows the Metabitch what they're reading. The Crow Road is a very specific *CLUE* because the book is written non-linearly and the reader must piece the story together. Sound familiar? You betcha.
Now I know a lot of us, myself included, are pretty invested in the time layers/time skips that may explain some of the incongruities of Season 2. (Crowley, I spent 90 minutes cataloging your ding dang sideburn length, sunglass style, shirt selection, and sigil placement. Short or long, dude! Sideburns don't grow down your face in the time it takes to walk outside.) But right now, I'm much more focused on the theory of the unreliable narrator.
So let's begin not at the Beginning, but in a graveyard in Edinburgh. Spooky. (I like spooky.) Let's talk about the uncanny Gabriel statue.
Crowley and Aziraphale are surprised by its accuracy. It's surprising enough that Crowley actually invites Aziraphale to come up to Edinburgh to see something that might amuse him. This suggests that MOST depictions of Gabriel that they've seen are not accurate. The essence of Gabriel is rarely manifest in the art created about him. What does this say about sculptors? Artists? About writers? About people who set out to tell a story and show a truth? That they're unreliable at best, only being able to show the version of events or subjects that they've seen, and furthermore only able to demonstrate these events or subjects to the best of their ability.
In other words, all art is unreliable narration.
Let's take a detour to another flashback to an earlier time. 2500 BC to be precise. We find ourselves in a memory of the story of Job, and in the recollection we meet a luxuriously goateed Crowley with a mane of flowing auburn hair. But this set of memories gets really screwy upon closer inspection, when you realize that Crowley's hair is markedly different at different points in the flashback. There are two distinct hairstyles, and it's up to us to figure out why!
Now, there's only one scene in which only one of our dynamic duo appears, the scene in which Sitis identifies Crowley as Bildad the Shuhite. In this scene, which we have to assume is from Crowley's memory, Crowley's hair is shoulder length and wavy. Going forward, this hairstyle will denote Crowley's perspective, and it is the hair style that Crow-dad (Crow-daddy? Grazie, lo detesto) wears for the majority of the Job flashbacks. So despite the fact that we enter these flashbacks through Aziraphale's musings in the bookshop, I have to argue that they're mostly from Crowley's perspective. However, when we get the giant camera shift from the Crow-dad/Sitis scene to the scenes that take place with Job's children, we also get a new hairstyle for Crowley. In this block of memories, Crowley's hair becomes significantly longer and also distinctly curly.
This is a different set of memories, and I think we have to assume that we're now seeing these memories from Aziraphale's perspective. This makes sense, because these memories are dealing with Aziraphale discovering more about who Crowley is (a demon who would disguise goats as crows to save them from God's gamble) and about who he (Aziraphale) is going to become (an angel who goes along with Heaven as far as he can.)
What this all tells us is that the narrative will be different depending on who is relating it. Crowley remembers his hair looking one way, Aziraphale remembers it looking another. We're all pretty unreliable narrators, since we can only express what we have seen or experienced from our own limited perspective and to the best of our ability. Everything we experience is filtered through the lens of our understanding. Even something as objective as an un-retouched photo frames the "truth" as the photographer sees it.
So for me, rather than seeing the indulgent use of clocks as a motif for dysregulated time, I'm choosing (for like this week, at least) to see time as a guardian. The use of clocks does more than demonstrate inconsistencies in time, it also gives us an objective framework from which to hang our unreliable narrations. Because Crowley's sideburns can't grow that quickly! But if we untangle time to reveal a linear flow, I think we'll see that it's the perspective or the narration that's shifted rather than the timestamp. I think that when all is revealed, it will be clear that our belief about what is true can be in direct opposition to another person's equally unreliable narration. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The mall is breaking out the 2024 calendars. When I saw the rack yesterday, I had to wait to take pictures because a customer was already browsing the Rick and Morty one:
It doesn't seem that long ago that the mall was stocking 2023 calendars with a couple of Crow Witch Rick illustrations, which thrilled me.
I haven't watched The Wizard of Oz in years, but I loved this calendar's illustration of Dorothy and her aunt:
Anyway, I haven't had much luck at Charlotte Russe recently. I check out the store, find no new merchandise and think "Damn, Charlotte Russe, you've failed me again!" But they finally had a new sweatshirt:
Surprisingly, they fared better than Spencer's, which had no new apparel. Pickle Rick had a buddy, but the Rick and Morty cube was having a bad day.
Today, it was time to visit the other mall. Rue 21 had a new shipment of soft, cozy sweatpants. I thought about buying a pair, but I don't wear sweatpants even around the house. Maybe if they start manufacturing Rick and Morty yoga pants.. 🤔
Off to the nerdy store, which had a surprise: a Planet Express ship! Futurama merchandise is rare, and I never saw any in person before the Hulu revival. $60 is too much for me, though.
The Rick and Morty Funko Pops were still thinning out, helped by the guy I spotted carrying a huge stack of them to the register. The cashier mentioned that someone had dropped off their collection. Right before season seven--that was perfect timing!
For some reason, these Funko Pops had the privilege of employees locking them in a glass case. $85 for Roy?? Is he really that desirable?
These poor guys came out of the box, so they're discounted and hanging on a shelf. Nobody wants this lone Bird Person!
Decorate your mini-fridge with these Rick and Morty magnets. Yeah, I think a lot of people on here refer to Rick as "Daddy."
This Spencer's location had a new hat behind the Pickle Rick beanie. Looks like Pickle Rick's trying a new hairstyle!
And speaking of Pickle Rick, he was crammed on the shelf with the Rick and Morty cubes. I guess Mr. Poopybutthole's happy because he recently got his poop back.
On a stranger note, the employees had banished all the Rick and Morty hats to the top shelves. Jeez, what was that all about?
I hope they're prepared to have stoned white guys with beards climbing the shelves. They can try to hide the apparel away, but it's too late. Spencer's customers are going to have their Rick and Morty hats!! 👒
