Following the unclosed story of the medical front liners’ fate in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, this short film tackles their struggles and frustration towards our country’s healthcare system.

The film introduces metaphorical representations of issues that are rarely discussed as these somehow move into the territory of socio-political injustice. It is a stand-alone sequel to the 2020 QCinema short film Miss You, George! wherein viewers would have a complete understanding of the story without watching the first installment.

Everyone should watch Unrest (2017). It has captions and subtitles in many languages, so you can probably watch it even if English isn’t your first language. Please, if you ever have an hour and a half of spare time, please watch this movie:

It’s all about ME/CFS, an often-debilitating chronic illness that’s one of the most frequent conditions people develop after acute covid infections. The filmmaker, Jennifer Brea, has it, and she interviews many other people who have it, their families, and doctors, as well as going into the history of the illness. It’s important to watch this to support your friends who have it, and at this point, some of your friends probably do have it.

Edit: content warnings for discussion of suicide and suicidal ideation in the movie (but it ends on a hopeful note).

Gideon briefly appears in The Making of Jedi: Fallen Order documentary, and Survivor's lead writer Danny Homan has a great blog post talking about his role on set - like using a nose whistle to help create BD's vocalizations. The animation and sound design teams at Respawn bring BD to life in the final gameplay, but when filming in the volume, Gideon helps give the droid a physical presence as part of the Mantis Crew.

On average, how much time does it take them to film the first half of a season? One/two months more or less?

No, it's a lot more than a couple months...

Normally they start filming in July and they end some time in December and take a small break for the holidays before picking back up some time in January. In the past, it normally takes most (if not all) of the months (July-December) to film the first half of the season.

CORRECTION: It's July-November that they're filming the first half of the season. I'm re-reading this and realized I misspoke. December they get started on the second half

In a 2024 interview with TIME magazine, Donald Trump said that if reelected, he would disband the Pandemic Preparedness and Response team —again! Which means, Trump would rather risk putting America through another failed pandemic response than to admit his obvious screwups.

Trump's incompetence and egotism are ingrained into his very soul.
