Prince of Darkness Dislike/Like (*Political Trigger Warning*)

Today's Robert Novak's Birthday in Hell so I did this. Sorry, reading his post 9/11 columns made me want to fucking kill him. He definitely earned his nickname the Prince of Darkness. He was somewhat funny on television but was a total asshole in his hatchet job "editorials." I can easily forgive Ozzy for peeing on the Alamo due to the whole Texas-seceding-from-Mexico-over-slavery thing. If not for the legal repercussions, I'd gladly use George Floyd memorials as urinals. Anyone who's mushmouthed when talking but coherent when singing definitely have a place in my heart. Hades is copyright © Disney.

Bruce Wayne harbored a secret (well, besides being Batman). When he's not playing the billionaire playboy by day, he wrote a controversial relationship column for Gotham's seediest news outlet under the pen name Matches.

His advice was a potent blend of brutal honesty and strategies for navigating Gotham's underhanded legal system. He exposed the toxicity of relationships with manipulative clowns, dismantled the tactics of two-faced partners, and offered escape routes from partners more likely to break your back than your heart.

Matches’ column went viral, even hooking the ever-optimistic Clark Kent, who found himself surprisingly drawn to the column's cynical wisdom. When his charm failed with a certain oblivious Gotham vigilante, Clark anonymously sought Matches’ expertise for a blossoming crush.

Faced with a surprisingly normal question about winning someone’s heart, Bruce felt completely out of his depth. Wholesome romantic relationships were uncharted territory for him. But he can't ignore someone genuinely seeking help. Scrambling for inspiration, Bruce delved into the dusty Victorian romance novels lining his library shelves. If it worked for generations of Waynes before him, it had to stand a chance, right?

Blissfully unaware of Matches’ true identity, Clark took Bruce's hilariously old-fashioned dating advice to heart. He serenaded Bruce from beneath his balcony, formally requested permission to court him from Alfred, and sent him poetic love letters (complete with a lock of his own hair).

Surprisingly, Bruce's terrible suggestions work. While another might be baffled by Clark's sudden eccentricities, Bruce began to understand Clark's intentions. Clark's sincerity slowly won him over.

So, Bruce penned a formal letter in acceptance of Clark's courtship, returning the gesture with a lock of his own hair sealed in a gold locket.

side section columnist au where Kate joins Penelope gossip reporting operation but her small side column is just titled ' proof that Anthony Bridgerton is a slut' and it basically consists on Kate following Anthony around writing down everything she thinks will convince Edwina that Anthony is bad news.

The problem is that Kate's articles start becoming increasingly more absurd the more she runs out of material to report.

Proof that Anthony Bridgerton is a slut #87: he doesn't know how to cook. ( Sources say they saw him drinking milk at midnight because he doesn't know how to turn on a stove, which is once again proof that he's a slut who can't cook! Also, he drinks milk like a slut!)

Meanwhile Anthony is getting increasingly more paranoid at the articles wondering who the hell is the person that has it out for him writing those slanderous articles that make him look like a clown.

Kate's side column in Lady Whistledown becomes surprisingly popular (people find Lady Whistledown's part timer strangely comedic) so Penelope decides to expand her operation and adds local Bridgerton maid Sophie, to fill in on the days Kate isn't reporting.

Turns out that 'proof that Benedict Bridgerton is a slut' performs even better, because Sophie even got tell all interviews with Benedict's past flings ( the widow who asked to remain anonymous, agreed to tell Lady Whistledown's readers all the juicy details of her fling with Mr B).

And by that point Benedict starts getting paranoid too.

Meanwhile Lady Whistledown readers keep asking for more.
