i keep thinking about the possibility that if there's ever a senior year, emily might choose to come back as a different player than fig. i say might because even if she felt like she wanted to play as someone else before junior year, by the time senior year rolls around (if ever) she might change her mind again, or feel that fig's story has taken a unique enough path at the end of junior year that it's compelling to continue playing with it.

and while i would certainly miss fig, and i think the team dynamics would change a lot if a new sixth character was pal-ing around with the bad kids, i hope that if she goes that route, she takes inspo from murph, and the greatest replacement character in d20 history: cody walsh.

because what was great about cody was that finding someone everyone would like as much as kugrash was a very tall order! so instead he veered the other way (on his moped) by creating this perfectly annoying drip of a loser, that everyone else would have strong feelings about, and more importantly, conflict with.

i'm incredibly okay about the drop of the soundtrack when crosshair tells cody the jedi are traitors, btw. so unbelievably normal. definitely not thinking about the way that frames cody, THE clone, THE example of devotion. extremely sane about how cody at that exact moment is looking at the wall of fallen brothers who no longer have anyone powerful really caring about them the way the jedi did. so fucking measured and unfeeling about how he never agrees with the assessment. i am normal.

I’m all for Roman eventually becoming a tweener or even a babyface but it has to be organic and long ass story telling. We can’t just magically forget how horrible he’s been for the last 4 years (Roman not joe). Like if jey had to go through a redemption arc Roman needs to as well and he needs to apologize for being an abuser to his family for years, mainly jey. I think he’s the best heel ever written, so many layers but I’m looking forward to seeing his and Cody’s dynamic change going forward. I just can’t acknowledge his character until he becomes an actual better man (again Roman not joe)
