Soap and ghost would love to say that the gravitate towards each other in uncomfortable social interactions but they don't. They gravitate towards Laswell and Price. Soap towards Price and Ghost to Laswell.

i found my new expecting AU. MAAAN I NEED TO SEE THIS SOON. BEEN RAMBLING ON MY MIND FOR A WHOOOLE 30 MINUTES.

So I may not have played the original COD MW series (Yet!), I do have an AU idea for including Roach that is questionable to say the least. So just like... Hear my ramblings out:

Roach was originally going to go for the US Military when he noticed Shadow Company was paying way more (He needs the money for his family and he'd be killing either way), so he took the job after passing its tests. Roach goes with Shadow Company to Las Almas during the reboot of MW2, but during the events of killing random civilians, and knowing that he should be safe because he was taught at a young age to always cover your tracks no mater what (don't worry, we'll get to that), he goes rogue. Roach, with a lot of convincing and a few punches to his face and maybe a little strangulation, was able to help Soap get to Ghost and the three escape.

Roach is now their info person for anything Shadow Company and helps take back Los Vaqueros' base while being closely watched by Ghost.

Graves still escapes and Roach knows this. He can't tell anyone (Graves found a way to black mail him despite how careful he was(this may change)).

Roach is then adopted to 141 cause of his skills, but no one fully trusts him, but he's been helpful on future missions.

Chaos does ensue when it's reveal Graves is alive in MW3, Soap and Roach almost fist fight(love my explosive little Scot), but they even it out in the end. Oh! And Soap survives cause Roach went with Soap and Price so Makarov didn't get the jump on them when defusing the bomb :D

Roach is 100% selectively mute here, only talking when absolutely necessary, preferring signing to people more than anything.

Feeling out for some romance here between Roach and Ghost, and I MIGHT include Soap, details still foggy. But it is brewing.

At the rehearsal dinner, the night before your wedding, your bridesmaids have prepared a presentation for you. They laugh conspiratorially before pulling the slide show up on the projector. The title is: Y/N Being Feral for Her Future Husband. Each slide has a photo and beneath is the unhinged text you sent with it. All the photos are sneaky pics you took while working with them.

Slide one: A slightly blurry image of him sitting on a bench at the gym.

The caption: “Sitting on his lap would probably fix me.”

Slide two: Picture is of him sipping his morning coffee or tea, disheveled.

The caption: “I’m jealous of a mug.”

Slide three: It looks like a selfie at first but you’re in the bottom corner and he’s in the background in full tactical gear.

The caption: “Love a man that uses protection.”

Slide four: Another blurry image obviously taken on a drunken night out with the rest of the team. There’s a tipped over shot glass and he’s licking the liquor off the bar. He’s got a big, goofy grin, being egged on by those around him.
