Hello!! I was wondering if you would mind sharing your art process? I really like your style and I've been trying to work on mine for a while :]

Thank you! This will be a longer post so the explanations will be under the cut.

I got tired of writing everything by hand so I’m typing it out.

I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to anatomy. It’s all from observation and references, and I highly recommend doing studies. Be sure to practice sketching loosely as well, it keeps your drawings from turning out stiff. Remember that everything comes is made up of basic geometry, and try to think in 3 dimensions.

I usually have messier, sketch-like drawings on this account because I think it looks better like this, rather than if I cleaned it up. But it’s up to what feels comfortable for you. There’s no right or wrong way to draw.

I used to mostly draw content in more anime-like styles, so I’m not entirely used to drawing realistic proportions or faces. This is why I usually revert to chibis when I have to draw someone without a mask. Because I am a coward. I am still working on this.

Most of my drawing ideas come from listening to music. My Playlist.

I haven’t posted many ‘finished’ artworks on this account, so I’ll attach some here. (Blood ahead.)

As for rendering, I do have a video of my process, although it is in monochrome to help see the values.
