wait im so confused what is the significance of the ring N is wearing in the new story?? everyones excited about that ring and i dont understand 😭
A Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring that signifies being in a relationship. Although sometimes a mother gives it to her daughter, or friends exchange them.
For us it has a special meaning because when they were in Italy, N requested a special Claddagh ring. There was a panic about whether it could be made in time for its debut at the Ireland premiere. We speculate that L bought it for N because it was quite expensive ($10k). It seems unlikely that N would purchase such a lavish ring just for a premiere (though it is possible). Since then N has not taken off the ring and has been showcasing it. Recent clues such as T-shirts and songs, suggest that N is happy in love. Given the ring and other signs, everyone assumes that L is the lucky bastard lol.
Additionally, N wore the ring throughout the summer, which might indicate that their relationship didn't just come out of a thunderbolt from the sky...
I hope I could help you out anon! 🤍

do you have any photos of demri wearing her engagement ring?
do you know any of her favorite artists or art styles? as in visual art
Hi there!
So we don't know if actually Demri is wearing her engagement ring or not in these fall 1993 photos (it's not clear when she and Layne cancelled their engagement but presumably in 1994). It was a claddagh ring (you cannot see it well in these photos, sadly):

Maybe here too? We don't know the exact date of these photos. She was always wearing big earrings, lots of necklaces and bracelets but not rings, looks like.

Sometimes the heart can be a stone, we don't now if that was the came or was the classing claddagh, but it had a stone, maybe is this one? (photo from 1992)

As for her artists or art styles, she loved Victorian decor, angels and so,and her favourite artist was Brian Froud, a British illustrator, you may find more information under the tag used on our site, and particulary this post.
Hope that helps!

(Hands you a little guy) My next OC for New Normal, Avery! Alice finds him in the woods and offers to let him live with her after hearing about his strange situation. He accepts, seeing an opportunity for a fresh start.
[I.D. Drawings of Avery O'Sullivan, a pale, scrawny young man with dark disheveled hair, dressed in a hoodie and shorts. One drawing shows him standing, one shows him laughing, and one shows him looking apprehensive while pulling a hood over his head. There is also a closeup of his right hand to showcase a Claddagh ring with the heart pointing outwards. There are also some notes on his character: "Avery O'Sullivan, 18, he/him, Irish-American, 5'1, born June 22nd, 1958. Avery had been missing since 1976. He was found 10 years later, but hadn't aged, nor did he perceive those years to have passed. He is gay, trans and asexual. He has ADHD, his favourite food is donuts, he's ambidextrous, kind of a hippie, and loves nature." End I.D.]

#OTD in 1902 – Eight fishermen from the Claddagh fishing village lost their lives while sailing on Galway Bay, near the village of Killcolgan, Co Galway.
Eight fishermen from the Claddagh area lost their lives while sailing on Galway Bay, near Kilcolgan. These men (Patrick Folan, Patrick Burns, Patrick McDonagh, John Barrett, Michael Burke, Michael Dwyer and Stephen Hynes) when journeying home from a wedding across the bay tragically lost their lives when a squall capsized their boat within sight of their destination. Many people witnessed this…

the claddagh ring symbolism is so Them to me… it’s supposed to represent the desire that love, friendship, and loyalty will reign supreme 😭 which is so special when you think of the connection between romantic and sexual love with friendship/comradeship in older conceptions of gay love. and then there’s this… “the pride of place is on the left hand, with the heart turned in, indicating that the wearer is happily married and the love and friendship will last forever, the two never separated.” 😭😭😭 as long as we’re alive, that’s a promise!!

I picked one out for him! I got him a turquoise one to remind him of the sea 💖 And silver because it has healing properties....
