Hi there. So I've been firm in my belief that Luke & Nicola are gonna announce their relationship by telling us that they are already MARRIED. I've been conversing with a friend on here and we both agree there's been clues/crumbs that just might support the theory. Some might think it's too soon, BUT I just think their relationship was never a normal dating/courtship. Them being TOGETHER is 4-5 years in the making. Anyway, sorry it's long, but here's our thoughts on possible clues that these two may have tied the knot:

Many of them come from secondary sources, but I found these nuggets too hard to ignore. So here it goes:

8/22 N shares Polin photo. My interpretation of this photo is that this is the pivotal scene where Colin reads her letters and starts to forgive her. Penelope professes her love for him later that day. I think this particular photo was to signal they had worked out their differences and were together. I most definitely could be wrong, but I took it as a positive sign.

(I think 8/22/since deleted) JVN shares TT song and dance to Oh Happy Day. Well that's suspicious...

8/28 N and JVN like Evan Ross Katz Insta post about Catherine O'Hara meeting her husband on set and being married for 32 years. Hmmm?

8/28 Bridgerton Netflix drops the cute Lukola-coded media video on Insta.

8/29-8/30 I saw maybe 3-4 random comments on a few Insta and TT posts mentioning Cabo. In fact, there was a comment on L's Spain post up until recently that said "do Cabo next." So weird and probably not true, but I couldn't stop thinking about Cabo.

8/30 JVN posts the song "They Went for the Gun" from the musical Chicago to TT. I kept thinking what an odd song choice when talking about your remote work team. If you're a musical fan, you know that this is the routine where Richard Gere performs the puppet dance number with Renee Zellweger. The song is about convincing the media to buy in to your narrative by turning them into your puppets. I thought this could be about the JD photo gate distraction or maybe L/N were getting married and they wanted us to think otherwise? Or, this could mean absolutely nothing, lol.

8/31 This is the morning we all saw the JD in the ocean/pool story. OMG everyone panic - he's in Malta with N! I wonder if JD was excited to be on vacation and accidentally posted the pic to Insta and that set off the whole day of possible distractions? Right after, JVN posts a we're home and here's a garden update story. (I almost always wonder if his garden updates are jokingly about L/N status.) Maybe it was previously recorded, and he used it to possibly provide cover for JD's slip-up?

I know my theory is off the rails, but I kind of like the possibility of it. Maybe L/N went to Cabo for a long weekend wedding around 8/30-9/1 with just a few close friends and family? You know JD and JVN would be there. I'm not one of those photo date, location and time truthers. It seems like that is never accurate. The previously mentioned JD photo looked like a pool to me, and it reminded me of this deep blue-colored one that is at the One & Only Palmilla in Cabo. This resort has been featured on many episodes of Real Housewives and N loves that show. I also thought the Insta story from N's work colleague in Malta would be really thoughtless and unprofessional if she was actually there at that exact time. I hope it was an intentional misdirect.

8-31 Days before Chupi has been teasing their new Future Awaits Diamond Arrow eternity band. They have posts pairing it with the Claddagh ring. They release it early on this date. It looks very similar to the one N is wearing in her Polin post from 6/11/21. Maybe it's her new wedding band and she's already married? Squee!

Anyway, this is crazy delusional but it was fun to think they might have been breadcrumbs. Maybe L/N got married quietly in Galway(because she'd definitely want her mother there and her Irish roots/traditons are important to her, and now L) Spain when no one was suspecting it. Regardless, I hope Netflix paid for the wedding if there was one. Thanks so much for letting me share. I hope we find out soon! The rings are still the biggest clues of all. 🥰💍👀

This is all speculation... but interesting theories...

Pattern is the posts from her side coincided with posts on his side (as in they happen in a specific cluster of days). Almost as if N knows something from his side will be posted and she a) has to distract herself b) distract the fans so that whatever L posts don’t get that much of a backlash c) has to send a secret message to L that she’s doing fine and she’s still 💯 in”

I think part of her secret code to L is as long as she’s wearing her claddagh ring, she’s still in. I don’t know what L’s secret code is - I think it’s as long as he’s on lifeguard duty, he’s still in 😂

I’m sure there are loads that I missed. I kept the IG posts from N to Bridgerton unless it’s really newsworthy or quite anticipated by fans. These are just from the pap walk onwards.  I also included some posts from outside sources because of speculations that they might be coming from their team to further the goal that they are working on. Which makes me think (and this is going to be an unpopular opinion) that N may have a hand on DM posts of her and JD (me: hides behind a door).

I might really be reaching here -- deep in my delulu seeing patterns when they don’t exist – but listed out like this almost seems like there is a back and forth between their groups and what gets out publicly.

I NEED SOPHIE BECKETT TO BE IRISH !!!!

This is my Roman Empire, i have dreamt of this and I have multiple reasons

1. It will tie into History and how Irish people have always been considered an outcast in society for centuries especially before the famine

2. When I read the book all I could hear was an Irish!Sophie with her accent, her attitude, her antics and her random quotes are so Irish I just love (I also feel with this Irish attitude it could bring humour to their storyline and season)

3. I feel it would also play well with Benedict not being able to recognise her even more due to her accent ( at the masquerade she pretend to be British when actually she is fully Irish)

4. People would even question her parentage even more due to her being Irish and highly educated (which was a rare sight in that period of history)

5. I feel like this aspect of Sophie could show how she has never felt like a person, never having something that was her and with this symbolism it shows how Irish people had everything taken from them as a nation and as people such as aspects of language, land and etc.

Irish!Sophie has never knew how beautiful Irish culture is with araminta excluding her from this side of her due to never considering her as a person.

Headcannon- she arrives to the Bridgerton household and a few of the staff are Irish and they start speaking to her in Irish and she’s like “what” like utterly confused and they start to question her and her upbringing

6. And I was watching titanic (I know) and I was thinking this would be iconic for irish!sophie (let me cook!!!)

When Sophie starts to work for the Bridgerton household she meet the other house staff which could have a few Irish iconic characters and they invite her to a drink and a dance in like an underground basement type of thing where there is montage of Sophie dancing a ceile or drinking with her fellow Irish people (rambled there for a second)

This starts to happen a few other nights and Benedict gets suspicious of her always being tired and he follows her one night and finds her dancing, singing and looking happy. He decides to confront her but just to see she has had too much fun ( she’s drunk) and as he is about to scould her or something idk she grabs him to dance (this could be like a moment he fully falls for her)

Skip to them leaving and Sophie is drunk and they could have a moment where it parallels to Benedict’s high dinner scene on their walk home (we live among the stars type of moment)

NOW HEAR ME OUT!!!!!

They could somehow have a little drunk smooch and Sophie is at the state of drunk that she nearly reveals that she was the lady in silver at the masquerade ball and as she’s about it fully tell him she’s like “I was the La- lady-“ AND SHE JUST PUKES ON HIS FEET

And there’s a moment where they just look in shock and disbelief they start to laugh.

Skip to the next morning and she is hungover like crazy and she leaves her room and runs into Benedict and just tries to ignore what happened last night and bids him hello and hurriedly speeds off while he chuckles to himself

7. With Sophie being Irish it could also make Benophie stronger as Benedict is willing to accept her and understand her culture and involve it in their life e.g buying her a claddagh ring as an engagement ring (one of the stories about the creation of the claddagh ring are about a peasant and a prince fall in love and it is forbidden or something and the prince gives her a ring to symbolise their love(BENOPHIE CODED)), learning Irish with her, visiting ireland and giving their children irish middle names

8. I also think a brilliant song for the season would be linger by the cranberries because the lyrics and meaning of the song are perfect for Benophie while it also being an Irish band

9. I know that people are hoping for a POC Sophie or a Latina Sophie but I feel with Irish Sophie’s exclusion from society due to her being Irish shoes a whole other side of Bridgerton’s defiance against societal norms

You mentioned recently that Terry will eventually get Daniel a Claddagh Ring. What if he gives this to Daniel after the cheating reveal? Almost like placing a wedding ring on his finger again, and what it symbolizes. Considering how hurt Daniel is by this reveal, and Terry actually being very worried over the state of his marriage…seems like a good time to remind Daniel that he truly does love him, though he has hurt him. Again.

When Terry puts the tiny box in front of him, he sees his mate grow pale, then swallow. "Terry, I appreciate the gesture, but..."

He puts a hand on his arm. "Hear me out about this first, mo cuishle."

His smile is very faint. "Terry, can we live for a few weeks? Just, regular days? I don't want to fight, or, well, think too much. Not yet."

He strokes him. "After I've had my say. And then we don't have to discuss it ever again. If you never wear it, I won't ask."

He sighs. "Take no for an answer, will you, Terry? Just this once?"

"No." He follows up before Daniel can do more than shake his head. "Because this is not about us, that is, not only us, baby." He opens the box. "This is a Claddagh ring. An Irish tradition."

Daniel huffs, but then leans in. "It's gold," he says, bringing the box up to his face. "Red and... gold."

He nods.

"That's... not what you usually buy."

"It's not about me, baby. It's for you."

He laughs. "As opposed to all the other pieces."

Terry nods, and Daniel smiles. "OK, I'll bite. Tell me about it."

"I've never had one," he says, somewhat haltingly. "My parents had a set, but my Daddy got buried with his." He breathes, the thought making the tender spot on his abdomen twinge. "That's traditional for Alphas, you see. And Mammy left hers to Amanda. That's custom, too."

Daniel looks at him. "Why do I need one?"

He takes the ring out. "The heart stands for love, the hands for friendship, and then there is fidelity..."

"Fidelity." Daniel spits the word out like an angry snake, stands up. "You simply had to, didn't you? You're doing this on purpose, God-!"

Daniel takes his right hand back, cradles it with his other. "People allow that?"

"It's code. You can always feign ignorance. Some Alphas take it as a challenge, but yes, some stay away."

"So as not to openly offend. OK." He looks up, still sullen. "But why do I need one?"

Terry takes it from his finger, puts it on his left hand, heart pointing out. "This means, 'joined but not yet mated.' That's usually engaged. And this..." He puts it on Daniel's left hand, heart facing inward. 'Married and mated.' "

"Like a wedding ring? Or a bitemark? I have both Terry, why -"

"Why do you think Alphas never leave this to their puppies? Why do you think they're buried with them on?"

"Omegas aren't, didn't you say?" He bristles. "Please Terry, no riddles, this is your world."

Alfred and I both have complexions in which rose gold really suits and as for the engagement ring, Alfred is old fashioned and went with diamond & a dainty design for me ;--;

James

Old fashioned but trendy, James decided to stick with the London blue topaz as an engagement ring so it would compliment the promise ring he got me and to incorporate that blue into the matching gold bands we wear.

Graves

Black is the only color Graves really likes to wear and well, I think I look good in black too haha. The engagement ring is of course, very witchy bc we are and what we have is pure magic!

Jim

Jim has black fire opal, I have white opal. We don't feel a need for wedding bands since claddagh rings conveniently have a code of how you wear them; left hand, heart facing inward= married!

Takari Headcanons Part II

So here I come with my next Takari Headcanons. Once again I must remind you that these HC applied mainly into the context of my Universer, but some might be valid for the general series.

Let's get to it then!

🌷 Takeru is a romantic fool due to his literary influences. He's the one who comes with the best date, proposal, confession...ideas, but in real life he's a little cynic about love due to the bad reference/ trauma he got from his parents' breakup. Due to this, he has never taken the idea of "dating" seriously, which is why he can easily go out on dates with girls he has no interests with. With Hikari the situation is different, since he denial originally mistakes his infatuation with Hikari as Pure Friendship interest.

🌷 Hikari is the first one to realize she has feelings for Takeru very early in their friendship. At first she choses to stay quiet believing that the feelings are onesided, but as time passes she figures that it is actually mutual and that Takeru's cynicism is to blame for his apparent denial of it. Instead of pushing the matter and confessing straight away, she teases him and often does things to ruffle his feelings in hopes that he will, once for all, fall into elightenment of his own feelings. The things she often does is commenting on his misadventures with random girls or some friendly flirting with Daisuke (sorry dude) or Shun who supports the cause of making Takeru aware of his feelings.

🌷 Infact, Taichi is the first one to suspect that Hikari has a thing for a boy (Brother's instinct!), but he originally thought that Hikari was crushing on Yamato, it is not until later that he figures that Takeru might be an candidate. Eventually he dismisses the whole thing. Ironically, he's the last one to find out that Hikari and Takeru were in a relationship

🌷 Takeru finally comes to terms with his feelings thanks to a pep talk from Taichi. Ironically, the pep talk came after Taichi was venting over his soccer team members (yeah he still plays in college) were trying to hit on his little sister.

🌷 Hikari seems to be magnet for soccer players lol

🌷Taichi actually approves of the relationship, but he likes to tease Takeru making him think that he will kill him if he does anything improper to his sister. Yamato is delighted with the news.

🌷 Mimi (and by default Koushiro) is the first to find out about the relationship after she casually caught them snogging during one of their secret dates. She eventually uses this to blackmail them to stay quiet about her own love life.

🍀 In my verse, Hikari's birthday falls on November 11th. I chose this date because based on months and personalities, November children are psychic, empathic and positive, but easily overwhelemed by the sensitivity which often causes them emotional burden. 11th, because using numerology, people born on the 11th day are usually very aware of their surroundings, intuitive and supportive; but they are also very secretive. This seem to suit her well

🍀 Takeru's birth day is on December 13th. December childre are loyal, generous, pretty boys and girls that are easily loved and admired, very active, outspoken and influential. Then can be very impatient but are always willing to give and help. People born on the 13th day are very hardworking, creative and optimistic.

🍀 Takeru introduces Hikari into the literature world and turns her into an avid reader. They reach a point that they use a secret code consisting of fictional language words, author names and quotes to pass messages between each other. No one understands them and wonder why they can't simply flirt like normal people.

🍀 At last year of college, Takeru receives a scholarship to take postgraduate studies in England (a writer's dream lol), so he has to go overseas. Hikari often goes to visit during vacations.

🍀 Takeru is pride boyfriend who always talks about his grilfriend, so the whole literature department already knows about Hikari before she is even introduced to them. She has earned the "MUse" nickname between them

🍀 Takeru proposes during "by accident" at some point during this time. He had been jugling with the idea for a while and during a field trip to Ireland he ends up buying the engagement ring in a celtic store. He gets a Claddagh ring with Topaz (Hikari's birthstone) and Turquoise (Takeru's birthstone) out of impulse, without even realizing what he had done

🍀 Taichi gave him a call and long pep, big brother talk after Hikari dropped the news. Takeru was absolutely terrified. Eventually Taichi is pulled off the phone by Sora, since everyone was impatient to give the congratulations

I think part of her secret code to L is as long as she’s wearing her claddagh ring, she’s still in. Even if she bought the ring herself to celebrate S3 success, I doubt that she will wear it all the time if it gives her bittersweet memories – I think she wears it to hold on to loving memories from Ireland. Correct Me If I'm Wrong, But

I personally think that the distinction between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation is an invitation. What I mean is: Someone from that culture offering to share it with you. For example, an Egyptian friend offering to give you a Henna tattoo or a Chinese friend taking you to an event where the dress code is traditional wear. As I mentioned, it is someone FROM that culture sharing with you. If you out there just doing henna or wearing a sarong, and you white, that is cultural appropriation. There's also a fine line about which culture you're appropriating. Some cultures have little problem with others using them ie. The Irish and claddagh rings or Americans and Bollywood making Americanized films. But remember that this. is. not. the. standard.
