This is a question for all type a control freaks who also love to just hang out. I have suspicions that I am doomed to work a real job forever because I am a type a control freak who needs stress to live and genuinely enjoys whenever I work a shift and I have zero thoughts the entire day because I’m busy putting out fires. And also because I think an email job would kill me with how fake and nonproductive it is. But email jobs are tempting bc of the wfh fake no stakes aspect. Is anyone a type a control freak who has successfully switched from real job to fake job or am I right and my temperament is doomed to real job forever

Ambient Walking Videos

Hey there! As some of you may know, my partner and I have started an Ambient Walking Channel on YouTube.

What does this mean? Whenever we go for walks in new places, or our own city, we record our walks and share them on our YouTube channel. We also record our interactions with stray animals, and post them mostly as short form content (but sometimes also long). We both find such content to be deeply relaxing and often use it when working or trying to fall asleep.

As we are still starting out, we don’t have a big following, and YouTube’s algorithm seems to show our videos to the wrong audience. So if you would be into such content we would deeply appreciate it if you would check out our channel and potentially subscribe.

Also, we would appreciate it if you have any suggestions for us on what we can do better, and what would be interesting for you to see/hear.

i think elden ring will always be my favorite game in terms of environment. every area is so impressive, even the copy-paste stuff manages to be impressive with atmosphere, and the amount of just. stunning-looking locations is wild especially with how natural even the most amazing looking shot you can find is.

just the fact that you unavoidably see this when you walk into leyndell is incredible. one of my favorite environment views in all of the games ive ever played

#you can walk on the dragon. you can find your way through the city and climb up onto the dragon to reach other areas #i love this. it doesnt just look fucking cool but its a tangible part of the world and you can go and interact with it #elden ring #salty talks #i just. the music paired with the masterful fucking angle you get of this when you enter leyndell proper.#its so cool im so obsessed with this i wonder was it was like when they got this right in development #this game is so visually incredible even the nasty ass fungal infected diseased caelid is really pretty #like???? i need to know how that shit happened. this is the biggest like. man i need to know what caused this.#idk if the screenshot is all that great i spent a while playing with the angle and where my character was standing #i dont think i couldve gotten my character out of frame and i wanted the walls on either side #to kinda show how you see this while leaving through a hallway. you literally cant miss this if you go in leyndell the normal way #i found the warp chest you can only see the top of the dragon's wing from where the warp chest puts you #anyways seeing this for the first time practically had me frothing at the mouth the environment design in this game fucks.#even the poison swamps

wearing my hearing aids in public is kind of funny bc im not self conscious abt them, but they are so small and nigh-imperceptible... theyre bluetooth so i use them to listen to music while commuting and (i dont know how to label myself so i dont think im explicitly stimming as much as like idk i cant contain myself) i always bop my head or tap rhythms with my fingers and foot and im fairly sure people who look at me all weird dont know right away its bc i have hearing aids

#NOT A COMPLAINT POST just funny.#it was more obvious with earbuds but with my hearing aids its not obvious at all i realize #i can tell because sometimes im walking around the city w music on and someone stops me for directions #bc they cant know i have them #so i look like a dumb fish for a second bc im trying to process what they said over the music before stopping the latter #navigating hard-of-hearingness with aids in real time
