Surely I am with you always!
Surely I am with you always!  by Octavius Winslow“And surely I am with you always, even to the very end of the world.” Matthew 28:20   Are you going through a sorrowful affliction?   What a Friend,    what a Brother,      what a Helper,        is Jesus!   Never–no never, does He leave His suffering child to travel that mournful night unvisited and unsoothed by His presence.   He is with you…

I want a named, holy thing to fuck my brains out, to turn my need to be filled up and spread out and hungry into some kind of Grace.
I want to cuss my lover’s name in ecstasy and have it be the prayer I always hoped it was

But now indeed, there are many members, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
1 Corinthians 12:20-21
How often we are dissatisfied with who we are!" I wish I could sing in the worship team"..."I wish I had confidence like my friends", "I wish I could speak like him", or "I wish I could be more outgoing! "
You see, God has carefully crafted us and packaged us with gifts and talents that are unique to us. You are as important to the body of Christ as the other person you are envious of. Your gifting may be serving, then serve well, or teaching, teach wholeheartedly, or just encouraging, do it as best as you can.
Singing on stage or playing music can look glamorous, but in the sight of God, taking care of your children, the elderly or a special child is priceless.  Jesus appreciates you. He sees what you do behind closed doors. Keep at it, you will be richly rewarded and honoured someday.
