Hi! No one asked but I wanted to make a big list of art resources I use because I like to try and help people be creative! Not everything I list is free (mostly the books & some PDFs), but I’ll try my best to keep a big portion of it unpaid.
I've also made a carrd with the same links and a set of software links + prices but I'll be updating this with more things I find that I think would be helpful. :)

So I’m assembling a ‘I can’t believe it’s not Cass!’ list from New 52 of writers who clearly asked/wanted to use Cassandra Cain and were told no:

Harper Row (Bluebird): Batman, Scott Snyder
Any others people are aware of?

Tigger has joined his pal Pooh Bear in the land of public domain. The character first appeared in "The House at Pooh Corner," whose copyright expired Monday. Other notable works now in the public domain include J. M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" play, the Hercule Poirot novel "The Mystery of the Blue Train" by Agatha Christie, and the silent film "The Circus" starring and directed by Charlie Chaplin. Also going in is the D.H Lawrence novel "Lady Chatterley's Lover," and the Virginia Woolf novel "Orlando: A Biography." The music and lyrics to Cole Porter's "Let's Do It, Let's Fall in Love" are also now public property. The University of Pennsylvania maintains a digital catalog of U.S. copyright entries to verify if material is available for public use. What major works will lose copyright protection in 2025? Fans of Popeye the Sailor Man will have to wait another year for the opportunity to freely remix the spinach-eating seafarer. Also going public in 2025 are René Magritte's painting "The Treachery of Images," the first Marx Brothers film, and the first English translation of Erich Maria Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front."
It's not just Steamboat Willie entering the public domain

The Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes & X-Men Evolution series watch
Living Legend Written by Kevin Burke and Christ Wyatt
While looking for the Hulk in the article the Avengers find Captain America's body in the ice and Iron Mand sees that he is still alive. They bring him onto the Quinjet and manage to revive him but he believes them to be Hydra agents and a fight between them starts.
In the meantime, Black Panther infiltrates the Avengers Mansion and discovers more information about the Avengers.
Captain America lands on the Statue of Liberty at Ellis Island and is confronted by Wasp, who he mistakes for one of Baron Zemo's experiments. Wasp takes him to a war memorial with statues of him and Bucky, but Iron Man informs him that there was no trace of him. The Avengers later take him to their mansion and give him a room.
At a HYDRA base, Baron Zemo breaks in and surprises Baron Strucker with his escape. Zemo then learns from a HYDRA agent that Captain America is still alive. Zemo then leaves the base and heads to Arnim Zola's base. There is a flashback to a fight between Zola and Captain America, where Zola ended up mutated after being knocked into one of the HYDRA experiments during the confrontation. In the present, Zola meets with Zemo, who informs him of the situation, and Zola begins treating Zemo to keep him alive.
Zola sends one of his experiments to the Statue of Liberty. Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man go to fight it. In the mansion, another one of the monster experiments and Zemo have broken in. Wasp battles a monster while Captain America is taunted by Zemo. As Zemo throws a grenade, Black Panther saves Cap's life with his shield, and Zemo escapes.
Cap jumps in front of Wasp and uses his shield to protect her. Wasp takes Giant Man to Ellis Island, where they discover that Arnim Zola's experiments are being weakened by Wasp's bio-energy. Giant Man changes his helmet to match the energy signature and advises Iron Man to do the same. Together, they defeat the monster. After returning to the Avengers mansion, Iron Man officially welcomes Captain America as a the team.
Captain America asks Tony when he will get a chance to meet the person in a black catsuit who saved him from Zemo. Tony is confused as who Steve is talking about. Meanwhile, at Zola's base, Enchantress and Executioner kill Arnim Zola and Propose an offer to Zemo it's.
Even with the quick pase of the episode it does a pretty good job at showing Cap's shock and ennui at being awoken in the present. I like how it was Janet who stayed and talk to Steve even when there was action. Nice bit of characterization for her considering of thrill seeking she normally is. Not many of the other characters get much to do. But it is nice to see that they all seem to have genuine concerns for Hulk.
Black Panther is way more involved from the very first season. The show does a pretty good job with balancing and synchronizing all the plots so far. A lot is going on but none of the episode have felt crowded at all.
Some fun animated action scenes in this episode with the blob monsters and a few more ambitious camera angles
SpykeCam written by Rick Ungar Christy Marx and Randy Littlejohn
Evan, after failing his report, begs his teacher to give him another chance to do a make-up assignment. The teacher agrees to give him a digicam to make a video report on currant events. Even just starts eavesdropping on the others at home and school.
While Evan is skateboarding home, Sabretooth jumps him, pushes him aside, and briefly takes his camera before running off again. The next day, Evan tries to film Cyclops and Wolverine training outside, but he nearly gets killed by one of the projecting buzzsaws, and he is knocked out of the way by Wolverine.
While trying to erase the footage, Wolverine discovers the message that Sabretooth left on the camera. When he suddenly shows up right there at the mansion, The X-men are able to fight Sabretooth off. Wolverine tries to run after him when he flees, but isn't able to find him.
Wolverine tries to put the mansion on lockdown, suspecting Sabretooth might try to capture one of the other X-men to try to lure him out. Evan, Kitty, and Rogue sneak out to the woods to try to film a music video, and Sabretooth does try to attack them.
The kids and Sabretooth fight a bit before Wolverine shows up and Rogue manages to knock Sabretooth out. Wolverine figures the kid deliberately planed this and is impressed but still grounds them for putting themselves in danger. Wolverine drops off Sabretooth in the artic and Xavier has wiped his mind, so he won't remember where the mansion is keeping them safe for now.
Starting off I just want to say this episode has some really nice flowing animation. This episode has one of the dance sequences that are in the intro and I personally I just associate this series with the characters dancing.
This is another episode that is aggressively 2000s with spyke getting excited over a digital camera, the girls fighting over a CD and even just the dancing.
Xavier Mansion is such a terrible safety hazard. The fact they use real dangerous projectiles during training and anyone can just walk on in when they're active. You are not keeping these children safe Chuck. Sabretooth is the least of your worries when you have a device that just shoots out buzz saws.
Sadly, what I will Say this episode was fairly weekly so on characterization. Spyke is not a very interesting character and everyone else was kind just there. This episode does not give any further insight between the conflict Sabertooth and Wolverine. Even Rogue who just joined the last episode just acts like she has always been there.
