Dynasty Warriors: Origins details story, battles with largest number of soldiers in series history - Gematsu

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have released the first storyline information, as well as new screenshots and footage of Dynasty Warriors: Origins. The new footage was shown during a PlayStation booth stage event at ChinaJoy 2024, which runs from July 26 to 29 at Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China.

Promising to deliver the most intense action of any Warriors title to date, Dynasty Warriors: Origins introduces fans to a heroic martial artist destined to overcome the immense odds as he fights his way through waves of enemies across the battlefields of the ancient Three Kingdoms. Dynasty Warriors: Origins introduces a new, deeper interpretation of the traditional Three Kingdoms storyline, which depicts ancient Chinese history. The story begins the year before the Yellow Turban Rebellion, the dawn of an era of great upheaval, when the protagonist (voiced by Jun Fukuyama)—a martial artist with amnesia—visits a village suffering from famine. Here, he meets Zhang Jiao, a long-haired man who offers a helping hand to people, and Guan Yu, a bearded warrior who denounces the injustice of government officials, and together they fight against the forces of corrupt officials. The immersive story is experienced through the amnesiac protagonist, weaving through history as a single hero. Throughout the game, episodes of the Three Kingdoms are described in greater clarity and detail, delivering a clear and engaging experience not only for fans of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Dynasty Warriors franchises, but for those who have not experienced them before. Dynasty Warriors: Origins delivers an overwhelming sense of realism on every battlefield, with the largest number of soldiers in the series’ history, intermingled and fighting with their own individual wills. Enemy soldiers attacking in cooperation are extremely formidable, and you must not only fight with your own skills, but also charge forward with your allies to clear the way. Once you push up the battleline and are prepared to fight, you and your allies can charge into the massive armies of enemies, experiencing a sense of realism of the battlefield in an unprecedented scale where thousands of soldiers collide! The protagonist of this title throws himself into the battlefield alongside the heroes of the Three Kingdoms, wiping out swarms of enemies using swords, fists, and various other weapons. By meeting certain conditions, players can temporarily control Guan Yu and other officers marching forth by your side. Officers with strength worthy of “exhilarating one vs. 1,000 action” will become the protagonist’s most reliable allies. Away from combat, Dynasty Warriors: Origins displays the vast world of the Three Kingdoms on a continental map, enabling players to choose which battlefield to participate in. Also, players can interact with heroes and walk around freely on their way to the next major battlefield.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2025.

Just sharing the regular dose of Digimon News from China (Cuz Bandai China and Toei China are on another level when it comes to Adventure + Reboot appreciation 🤭)

ChinaJoy 2024 (A Game/Toys related convention in China) opened in Shanghai today, Bandai had their corner there and a whole designated section for Digimon. Photos of the Digimon section layout was shared on their Weibo some time prior to the convention opening.

Today the Digimon Web account on Twitter also posted an update, showcasing the giant Agumon on display!

They had on display the Digimon Adventure: Yamato and MetalGarurumon figure open for pre-orders, scheduled to release in 2025.

Next, the Kayo Horaguchi art of Digimon Circus, where the Adventure partners are dressed as a Circus troupe is now being turned into mini-figures.

Summer Games Fest 2024

Holy fuck if that shit wasn't putting me to sleep and it wasn't even because it started at 11pm over here. No offence to those devs and all but most of the stuff was Boring with capital b. Audience either didn't care bout most things showcased or was just asleep too cause that was just sad. My 5 cents that no one asked about since i fell asleep right after + gonna link trailers from IGN.

Brasil Game Show se consolida no ranking das maiores game shows do mundo A Brasil Game Show é a maior feira de games da América Latina. Além disso, segundo dados da empresa alemã Statista, é a segunda maior feira do mundo. Os números mostram que a BGS recebe mais visitantes do que outras grandes feiras, como a Tokyo Game Show e a Gamescom. Mais de 2 milhões de pessoas já visitaram a BGS e os visitantes deste ano farão parte da maior edição da história, que contará com cerca de 400 estandes, mais de 3 mil influenciadores, campeonatos de eSports, áreas temáticas, centenas de lançamentos, atrações e muito mais. não mais. A BGS tem o DNA do gamer em sua essência e é diferente de tudo no segmento. Cada edição apresenta mais atrações para o público aproveitar com milhares de estações, sejam máquinas de fliperama, plataformas móveis, computadores, óculos de realidade virtual, consoles, jogos de tabuleiro, jogos de cartas ou qualquer outra forma de jogar.
