Personal Impression: Adventure Behind the Bronze Door (Tibetan Sea Flower).

I was caught with life when I had to skipped this series, and so I was late to watched it.

Please welcome, the newest of The Iron Triangle!

I thought this series was after "Tomb of the Sea", since Wu Xie was quite old and wrecked. It reminds me of Wu Xie from "Reunion". XD

This one was actually before "Tomb of the Sea", before Xiao Ge enters the bronze door, replacing Wu Xie who was supposed to guard it. But, Xiao Ge couldn't let him, so he was the one who guard it instead. This made Wu Xie feels so bad.

While waiting for Xiao Ge returns, Wu Xie and Fatty were caught up in another adventure, a task that was assigned by Xiao Ge since he can't do it by himself (for guarding the bronze door for 10 years). In this adventure, Wu Xie and Fatty also found the truth about Xiao Ge's past life which he always seek his memories.

Xiao Ge's life was pitiful. He only wanted to know about his birth, about his mother, but he was forced to be the family leader if he wanted the answers. He has also to shoulder the curse of having memory lost, while the other family members were free from it. And it seemed, no one could understand him.

"You all Zhang family is so stupid," said Wu Xie to Zhang Haixing. He was right. The righteous family has been declined for generations and they were fighting against each other for mundane purposes. While in other hand, they "sacrificed" Xiao Ge for their own goods. To be honest I've lost my respect for this main family. XD

Maybe it's faith that Xiao Ge meets Wu Xie and Fatty. His brothers who always think about him, care for him, and will know if he's gone. That's why Xiao Ge willing to replaced Wu Xie to guard the bronze door, and that's also why Wu Xie willing to look and remembers Xiao Ge past so he could tell him when he lost his memory again.

They have a strong bond, and that bond that made Xiao Ge still remembers Wu Xie when he finally comes out after 10 years. And that strong bond that made me love them so much: both pingxie and the iron triangle.

I haven't read the novel version so I don't know if there's any differences with the series adaptation. The adaptation story was okayish to me. I can follow the story line quite well. The pace was also okay. The plot, the characters and the acting skill (I even like the biologist foreigner, Feng), the action scenes, and of course the comedy and bond between Wu Xie and Fatty. As always, Fatty is the last stand for taking care of Wu Xie when Xiao Ge wasn't around. If Xiao Ge was there, Fatty would still be responsible for the two of them. Fatty is such a "mama" for both Wu Xie and Xiao Ge. That's why for me, in whatever adaptations, Fatty is the real MVP. XD

Through this series, I can finally understand about some of the mysteries, especially about Xiao Ge's life: the truth about his life, his mother, and his burdens. Also, this is the starting point where Wu Xie finally changed not to be as naive as in his younger times. He's ready to be scheming in order to fight the Wang family in "Tomb of the Sea".

Episode 32 is a must watch episode! Wu Xie and Fatty came together to pick up Xiao Ge, and Xiao Ge said the famous line to Wu Xie, "You've grown old."

Now, there's still missing parts after Ultimate Note till Xiao Ge enters the bronze door. When this adaptations really comes out, it will definitely a tear jerking.

Until then, let's enjoy the peaceful life that the iron triangle could have (before they go to their next adventure).

I keep hearing people in the background mentioning 'Mr. Zhang'. Isn't Xiao-ge from the Zhang family. Didn't we find that out in like episode 2?

I thought it weird that Xiao-ge was wearing a gray suit instead of black but now I've noticed that a lot of the male attendants for the auction are wearing the same. Is he one of them, or disguised as one of them? I love how much of a mystery Xiao-ge is right now!
