Hello!

I'm not too sure if this counts as an ask or if I should have sent a message, (Sorry, I'm not to certain how Tumblr operates in comparison to other platforms) but I was wondering if you've ever listened to "Jeans" by Jessie Reyez w/ Miguel?

I'm not sure why, but to me this song feels like the vibe between J and Reader sometimes. Especially the beat & rhythm and when both artist sing "say it again" over and over and the other responds with "take me to bed", lol.

Not to be weird, but it's one of the songs I listen to that immediately reminds me of your work. I find myself reading a one-shot or a chapter of "His Lighthouse" with the song because vibe feels so right.

As always, thank you for providing us with stories of our favorite distraction and always putting your everything and more into your work.

It really is unfathomable and beautiful to be able to read such enticing work and know there are so many others who feel the same way, collectively waiting for your next piece.

May you always be inspired and there will never be enough thank you's for doing what you do and your willingness to share it.

Where do I start? I love you too? I'm a huge Miguel's fan (I heard him live too many times) Jeans isn't a personal feature favorite but I get the overall vibe for Joker and Y/n.

It makes me so happy to know my stories invoke so much emotion and that you have a theme song in your mind as you read them. Now that's peak goals. I'm not crying. Honestly.

I must confess I slacked up on posting but hopefully the end of this summer going into fall, my inspiration takes flight and launches me into sharing more stories and chapters!!! 🖤✨

I think this week I'm going to reread His Lighthouse before I start actually typing out the next chapter. I know I haven't updated the story since April, (cringe I know) but all good things come to those that wait. 😘

do you ever think that the ending of six hundred strike, actually added to the poseidon & athena beef? like i can just imagine them both in beds in apollo's olympus infirmary, just arguing with/at each other! meanwhile poor apollo is just tying to heal them both.

Thinking about the fact that, to pull Gale from the stone and get him in the game at all, you have to decide to try to touch an extremely dangerous looking swirling mass of unstable magic. Something that is, objectively, a terrible idea

Like, the options it gives you are to either touch the sigil or leave, and if you leave you just... don't get Gale in the party

You have to take the risk. You have to let your curiosity override your common sense. You have to look at this unstable, possibly dangerous malfunctioning magic sigil and go "...Ok, but what if I poke it?"

In short, to get Gale in your party, you have to do exactly what he would in that situation, and indulge in a moment of reckless curiosity. And I just think that's delightful

Shazam identity reveal AU where the league knew Captain Marvel was a child named Billy since day one but he stubbornly refuses to transform or tell his full name for the whole 4 years he’s been on the team and everyone’s so confused because they know like. 95% of his identity already why is he hiding this specific part?

They start thinking he’s some kind of criminal or had a dark past he’s hiding from them. They know so much about him, though. They know he’s homeless, they know he’s had bad foster homes, they know his parents died tragically and his uncle stole his inheritance. he shares everything. Everything except the one thing that would show he truly trusts them. Why? What have they done to convince him they weren’t trustworthy?

Then. He accidentally transforms back during a battle. Batman instantly scans his face with the facial scanner that’s built into his mask because he’s paranoid as hell of course he has one of those. And he sees exactly why he hid it for so long.

The tension in the air is so palpable that the entire league feels it and they look back and forth between them waiting for the bomb to drop.

Cyborg is the one who blurts it out (he IS a facial scanner)

“Your last name is BAT SON??”

Billy groans into his hands in defeat and Batman sighs, finally understanding why the secret was kept so desperately.

From then on the league refuses to call Billy anything other than Big Red Robin or just Big Robin. Robin but big. they call Batman Captain Dad at every possible opportunity. Whenever Billy does something wrong someone threatens to tell his dad on him then call Batman. The robins last names may as well not exist because from then on they are only ever called Damian Bat-son or Red Hood Bat-son or Stephanie Bat-daughter, except for Red Robin who’s called Little Red Robin or, if they’re feeling brave, the Little Red Cheese. The bat children and Billy’s nicknames become so confusing and meshed together that conversations get very confusing and the names just become interchangeable. The press is convinced that Captain Marvel is Batman’s secret love child within a week.

It gets so chaotic so fast, no one knows how this happened but names mean nothing anymore and Batman is getting a DNA test. So much opportunity for chaos!

Why do you think they put Savannah Claw Rook up to pull??? Is he even going to participate in Book 7???? I am so confused WHY HIM??? WHY NOT IDK, CREWEL? VARGAS? MAYBE TREIN?? WHY HIM.

I’m SO CONFUSED. Is it just for money grabbing or something like that? It doesn’t make any sense.

Also how prepared you are for the probably last update of Book 7?

I mean...it said he's a story card, and all the other story cards have had major roles, so I see no reason to assume he won't as well! (plus any staff cards are probably all going to be events like Crowley was; I would honestly be MORE surprised to see them as story cards.) really though I'm having fun trying to figure out how he's going to tie into things! we're back at Cerberus Ortho levels of "WHAT DOES IT MEEEAAAAN" and it's great. :D

I assume we're going to be doing some more dream-hopping, but I think it would be hilarious if it turned out to be someone else's dream instead of Rook's. who else could possibly be dreaming about him pre-fancification.

(I'm also half afraid that this really is the last part, and half afraid that it isn't. I'm -- I'm not going to believe anything until we get the diadorm rerun pickups, and maybe not even then)

Osamu is an absolute fiend when it comes to play fighting.

He’s the twin of an athlete, of course his entire childhood was filled with wrestling and fighting, of fighting over the last cookie, or first player in a video game. Who the hell were you to think of challenging him to such an event?

“Get over here!” He growls playfully, chasing you down the hall. You scream and turn into the bedroom and skitter onto the bed, only for him to follow short after.

“Go away!” You giggle in anticipation.

“Nuh-uh,” he snips. “I’m not nearly done with you.” He makes a leap towards the bed, a large hand gripping your ankle and dragging you towards him, desperate to ignore your flailing limbs and-

You sent a kick straight to his face.

Immediately he recoils away, hands coming up to cradle his face as he whines in pain, hunched over. You instantly jump to his side, a palm running over his back to try and soothe him, all the while trying to get a look at the injury.

“Baby, let me see!” You demand.

“No!” He nasals out. “You’ll neber let bme play fight you adain!”

“That’s not my worry right now, my worry is me kicking your nose square off of your face!”

“It’s my worry!”

You roll your eyes and quickly grab him by the collar, dragging him to the bathroom where you tenderly remove his hands, wincing as he whines in pain.

“We’ve gotta get you to the hospital,” you insist.

“Kiss bme first?”

“Oh my god-“

And hey. It worked.

Because not an hour later were you and osamu in the emergency room, your hand filling out in patient forms while his cradle ice to his face, but a dopey smile splayed on his lips unbothered since you originally kissed him.

It be cute, if it wasn’t so bloody.
