Death to Analog is a post FOP/A New Wish au revolving around the ending of Channel Chasers (which means no Sparky or Chloe all but for maybe small cameos here and there) that mainly tackles the side affects of Timmy's memory being wiped similarly to how we see it in Crocker. Me: I wanted a slightly older Timmy Turner. The show confirmed he can still have magical powers for some more years. A new (more direct) sequel series is not out of the Nickelodeon realm. So there's more FOP to go.

Hot take: while I can see why channel chasers would be the perfect finale, I can also see fairy idol being a good finale as well. It fits tonality with the episodic nature, it’s a musical, it puts the spotlight on lesser characters (Chester and Norm) and it was the last episode of season 5. Apparently season 5 was where fairy odd parents would have ended if not for fairy odd baby. Even if this wasn’t true, the special seems finale enough to me.

Please don’t try kill me over this, I’d love to hear your thoughts about this subject

The ending of Channel Chasers is kinda sweet, when you think about it.

Timmy Turner wanted to have Cosmo and Wanda back so much, that even though he couldn't consciously remember them, he recreated the scenario that brought them to him in the first place. Only this time, it's for his kids and not himself!
