Weekly Focus - Just Give

This week calls us to focus on doing things because they are good to do, help us to learn something, give us the opportunity to share our expertise to help others, and/or creates positive experiences. This is a time for us to let go of metrics, expectations, desires, or wanting something back for what we give out. It is about truly embracing the experience and realizing that our "reward" is inherent in the action; and we do not have to have a physical reward for what we do.

It is a time to truly give of ourselves for those that are in true need and cannot do things for themself. When we do this, we build Celestial Insurance and work favorably with the Law of Charity, which calls us to give freely without expecting, desiring, or needing something in return. It is about being of true service or doing "mission" work. Any time that we do this, we will add to our Celestial Bank Account; however, again, it is not doing to get but doing to give from the heart. In many ways, this is not much different than creating a "rainy day" fund for yourself. Just like that rainy day fund, it will be there to help you out of tough situations and poor decisions when you need it most.

This type of giving recognizes that we do not have to receive from the person that we give to; but that we can receive from others when we most need it. Not because they are obligated in some way to give to us; but because we have created the cushion for ourselves in our Celestial Account to be able to draw on it when most needed. This means that we can receive what we need at any time through anyone. When we hold score cards and metrics in place with others; then we restrict ourselves to only receive from that person. We create a debt/owner pattern that is actually rooted in greed and deprivation, and always has strings attached; instead of creating flows of kindness, compassion, and unattached giving.

So, this week we are called to give where we can where it is needed; without thinking about. Give freely and clearly to those in need who cannot help themselves. Stand up to greed and offer to help someone for free. The return investment on this is a return of 3-10x what you give out; when you most needed. Instead of equally receiving something, which you may not need or want; just for the sake of keeping the score even. Remember, the Soul Self asks what can I give; not what are you going to give me.

Hidden in heaven - AU concept

Exploring more of Heaven and the 7 Archangels in Hazbin Hotel 

This AU explores our concept and interpretation of heaven while still being connected to the canon story of Hazbin Hotel.

It roughly takes place currently time, roughly takes at the same time as season 1

HEAVEN

Our interpretation still follows what we've seen in the show, it's basically still the colorful paradise it's made out to be, with it's denizens still bliss fully un-aware of what's going on behind the scenes and down below,

however, now with the additions of our own ideas, with how it deals with its denizens and its main authorities, which is the 7 archangels and the elders, and how they run heaven.

we also added the idea of heavens history, from even before creation.

Eternal Serenity inc.

The Objective of this company the management of souls and the insurance of a paradise environment that Heaven promised. However for each ascended [soul] has their own slight idea of what ‘’paradise’’ is like, each department cater to that ideal accordingly.

the elders are comprised of each species of angel in the first sphere and have existed since before existence itself. They were the direct caretakers of the 3 eldest children, however, despite technically being a rank lower than them in the hierarchy the council has a higher rulement over the siblings since they were the main authority and mentors to the siblings.

So my TMKATI idea of MK starting as a wee little chaos rock/eldritch abomination is looking more like accidental canon predicting.

Wondering how Nine Heads would be involved though - throwing the comet off course by a few eons perhaps?

Now I'm imagining Nüwa fixing up the pillar, giving the different major guardian gods the Heavenly Stones (I hc formed from all the life energies/dao of those lost in the Pillar's destruction, such as the original Stone Monkeys), and they ask her if she has a back-up plan in case the plan fails.

Nüwa: "Of course I do! See this clay rock?" The Guardians: "Yeah?" Nüwa: (*pitches rock into the sky like a sonic baseball*) Nüwa: "In a couple thousand years that rock will come back 'round with all the accumilated cosmic dao we'll need to mend the Pillars if they ever get broken again." Jade (Just Elected) Emperor: "Unorthodox. But nonetheless a good insurance plan." Nüwa, SWK-esque smirk: "He he! I know. I'm a genius."

Que a few millennia later. Sealing the life energy/magic inside the Heavenly Stones has an accidental side effect of subtlety draining magic from mortals and demons alike. The descendants of the humans born from Nüwa's clay figures (early Homo sapiens) + surviving pre-Flood hominids (Neanderthal, Denisovan, Erectus, Red Deer Cave etc) begin to be born without any magic at all. Only the lucky ones like Li Jing or those reincarnated from past celestial beings like Tang Sanzang have the chance of developing these skills.

Nine Heads: "This world of no wild chaos magic stinks. I want to kick things up a notch." (*sees The Harbinger's Comet, a literal conduit of Chaos and Life Magic*) Nine Heads: "I have an idea!" (*readies divine baseball bat*) (*Meanwhile in the Celestial Realm, the Jade Emperor is chilling and making some prophecies*) The Jade Emperor: "Ok, my succesor is going to be the Heavenly Master of the Dawn of Jade of the Golden Door - good, that hasn't changed. Great plague and unrest, don't need powers for that. Yada yada..." (*squints into ceremonial vessel) "...why is there a monkey my house???"

And of course this all leading to the events of "The Monkey King and the Infant" where the Jade Emperor learns about the Harbinger's Comet arriving early and freaks out - telling Wukong to "deal" with it.

This has been the week from hell, and it’s still only Tuesday. What celestial being did I piss off?

A new truck driver totaled my car while I was sitting in a turn lane. It’s not worth much, so whatever insurance payout I get isn’t going to cover a replacement.

Still can’t find paying work after job hunting for a year, and my car was destroyed after my first volunteering shift at the local butterfly house.

Other car I had temporary access to had a dead battery.

Sick pets.

Sick me, with 3 trips to the doctor in the last week.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the death of one of my best friends. He died of Covid and we are still in this fucking pandemic. No one else seems to be wearing a mask and I am livid about all of it.

I am short on money for bills this month.

Fuck, I’m so tired.

In an earlier post for SD! you mention how due to SD!Wukong being emperor, monkey demons ended up getting a lot of preferential treatment, and I want to make it MK's problem.

Part of SD!Wukong’s duties as Emperor are to oversee the settling of certain disputes between high-ranked officials and nobles. However, since the SD!Monkey King took the throne, many have dreaded coming to him with their problems. It is an open secret that if a monkey demon comes to the emperor with claims of theft or assault, the Emperor would automatically deem the other party guilty regardless of the truth. And due to SD!Wukong’s temper, power, and history, no one would dare counter his decision.

Everyone, but the newly discovered prince.

It could start simple with MK wandering the halls of the palace, needing to take a walk as his brain swirled with the formulas he could barely understand in pieces. As he walks, he passes a few guards commenting on a trial scheduled later that day. Curious and needing a good distraction, he works out when it is being held. When he arrived, he saw a sweating celestial and a confident monkey before a bored SD!Wukong. The monkey is accusing the celestial of stealing his property (it could be anything, so long as it is well made and expensive), while the celestial provide papers that show they legally purchased it from that very monkey less than a month ago. As unnecessary insurance, the monkey holds documents that show the same thing reversed.

At first glance, both documents looked real, so it was clear who SD!Wukong would support. But just as a ruling was about to be declared, a voice called out the monkey’s pathetic attempt at trickery. The prince was revealed, eyes clearly glowing gold. Using what he learned from both C!Macque and SD!Macaque about illusions he released a short burst of power, showing that the monkey was in fact holding a blank piece of paper. This would cause Wukong to have to side with the celestial as he looked at his subject in disappointment.

Mk saw nothing wrong with pointing out the deception, but his action granted multiple factions hope.

OOOOOO INTERESTING!! Honestly MK being a hope to all the other demons and celestials alike is such a good idea like I can see this definitely working against MK when he's trying to go back home. Just imagining everyone being desperate to have their pillar of hope for a just and fair world against the Great Ruler and the prince plans to leave? Not on their watch

Hmm....how common is the knowledge that the Ten Kings were forcefully retired and now a Queen rules the Diyu?

Also: [She does not give him Macaque's name as she slips away before she can.] I realize it's the 'her time ran out so she faded away' sort of deal, but I can't help but feel like Macaque dragged her back to Diyu and got rid of her himself (They did work together by your own words, so who is to say he did not put some sort of...insurance to make sure she keeps up her end of the deal).

Like when Azure took over as Jade Emperor, Celestials and Demons know the kings are now gone. Only a hand ful know that it was the Six Eared Macaque did it, Mainly the Jade Emperor himself knows.

As for LBD, Macaque never had the intention to let her live haha. As soon as he saw his chance he dragged her right back to Diyu and took care of her himself. After all he wasn't ready for Wukong or Mk to know yet.

the blood moon is not only a phase for the celestial object in itself but one for mali as well; it is one where she's closest to the very edge of the universe, the void. her home. not only does her mentality change but also her physical appearance. as one gets closer to the abyss, staring into the endless void that expands before your very eyes — it starts consuming you from the inside out, filling you with indescribable rage.

most rational will be abandoned as a more primal way of thought & behavior is accepted within this state. as it emerges from the clouds; the blood moon sends a signal to mali, corrupting her into a fully fledged voidling once a month. it is not needed to be seen. she senses its presence, even through heavy fog or restraints. the blood moon had become part of the eldritch goddess ever since z'ail'tha inlaid a glyph within her body. through a god, she became part of yet another fate.

despite mali always having had a connection to the moon, this one was quite different. it was made to mock her love; to mock the moon that gave her a sense of belonging. the moon that usually represented hope for the woman was tarnished by a rivalry — forever binding her to see it partly in utter despair. the glyph is an ancient seal made by a entity that has long since passed by her hand. it manifests as a red sigil on the back of her neck, yet can only be seen by other eldritch entities or when the blood moon breaks said glyph.

it was a restraint put upon mali by another god as he bested her once; made to harvest all negative emotions & energy, growing with power until it was broken every month when the blood moon rose.

"the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the lord comes."

a harbringer of the end would rise. a prophecy that came true every month; the glyph had become an insurance by the god who had been defeated by mali so long ago. so, that even without his presence, she would never be able to hold onto something for longer than a month. once those thirty days passed, it would become undone by her very hand. she would never prosper. it was insured by the glyph burned into her calcified soul.

when the blood moon rises, mali's irises turn into crescents as they wax throughout the night until they consume her entire sclera — once her gaze is brightened with that deep red, she is at her most destructive. red streaks run down her cheeks; a symbol of dread & repressed grief as she's become unable to stop the process. claws & fangs grow significantly whilst her body is to open with cuts. spilled blood morphs into crystalized darkness as they melt into her pale skin. they draw patterns along her arms & wrists, up to her neck as a strange red pulses where her throat is. framing her skull up to half of her face before they stop — manifesting into horns which sprout from her very temple. the white strands of her hair consume those black tresses until there's nothing left of them.

until there's nothing left of her.

she shall return to normal once the blood moon has waned. alas, for the next twenty-four hours — the wrath of the void shall reign in terror.

Upcoming in 2024

I don’t really like the idea of New Year’s Resolutions, but here’s what I can look forward to in the new year:

Health Changes — due to having my annual physical in late December, based on my bloodwork results, I do need to make same changes. Specifically, we will be doing Something at least twice a week in addition to our usual walks. I plan to swim on Wednesdays, and I’d like to hike on most Saturdays. (But when weather or time doesn’t allow, we can go to the gym again or do one of the group classes or something.)

Therapy — finally I think I’ve found someone who takes my insurance for real. My first appointment is tomorrow and I really hope I like him. That will be weekly on Mondays if I do.

But, most importantly, BOOKS! — I have properly settled into my new book club group and like the tweaks they’re making to our system. Also, I got 4 books I’ve been really looking forward to for Christmas- plus I bought 2 more + a box set of the next three wheel of time books. PLUS, I just complied a list of books coming out this year that I am very much looking forward to.

It's going to be great. If they can ignore the water damage because my landlord doesn't want to open an insurance claim. :))))) It was a pretty small leak but it is a 100% going to mould in our laundry room because of his negligence. We'd obviously deal with it if we could, but renter's insurance only covers personal property.

The first thing Aries asked when I called him a million times in a panic was "are your books okay?".

Yes. They were. Thankfully, all of our stuff was okay.

He's been so lovely at dealing with it. I am so grateful for him.

With the twins, that's when the Hevaenly Court as a whole discoverable where Yubei came from. The absolute look of horror on the their faces when they realize it was the mountain that caused this...

Many were wondering if Buddha was somehow punishing them by sealing Wukong under the mountain as well (the answer is... sort of. He didn't like how they all pushed a young soul like Wukong to such havoc.)

The Celestial Realm assume Wukong was pregnant pre-Furnace and it forces the immortals/gods to pretty much grovel at his feet out of shame. Its only later that they realise through Lao Tzu and Gold Star that it was The Buddha's hand that technically acted as the catalyst.

Honestly, Buddha probably saw all of Heaven getting to big for their britches after the Investiture Crisis (messing with human affair, loss of demon rights, and in-fighting?) and thought, "Thats it, I'm letting the monkeys in!"

The Buddha is pretty big on humbling people, including the gods. Wukong (+Macaque to a lesser extent) being allowed to run around causing trouble and live is the Buddha's way of giving the Celestials a monk tonsure.

So for Wukong to be humbled via his mountain punishment + the future responsibility of a child? Insurance plan = Yuebei is literally able to kill gods. The big guy loves the little living embodiement of the reminder that death will eventually come for the immortals.

May 23rd Full Moon

Each Full Moon tends to bring with it disruption.  It is a time that is naturally turbulent and can trigger rebellious energy.  People are more prone to pick a fight or to get triggered into reactive and aggressive spaces.

This Full Moon, it is important that we learn as much as we can from the experiences we are having.  Our experiences are teaching us about what is and is not a successful path for us.  Even if we cannot see it in the moment, we are getting the experiences that we need in order to put our own plans and ideas forward.  This is a great time to learn from others and the things that they have tried.  We may even find a mentor that can help to guide us in what we are doing.

Victim energy is likely to be pretty strong right now.  Those in positions of power or authority may operate as tyrants and bullies.  This is especially true if they only have a little authority now and are trying to gain more.  There will be attempts to turn friends against each other, and to impose suffering on those that won’t comply with their abuses.  We cannot stay silent, and should stand up for those that are mistreated.  We want to keep in mind that those who betray us, may not want to betray us; but have been brainwashed into believing that they have to in order to protect themselves.

People are likely to be feeling insecure and jealous of others.  An inability to see their worth and value leads them to feel that they must prove that they are superior to others.  In reality, this only leads them down unfavorable paths.  In some way, they will have to start life over again.  Many who do this seek fame and fortune; and if they get it spend carelessly in the attempt to lead a “big” life.  Sadly, most will lose everything due to not providing for their future.  Competitions don’t prove anything, but they will pull us into insecurities and misfortune.

This is a time that we really need to check in and look at why we are doing things.  Things can feel stuck or stagnant where they are.  They are also likely to be out of Divine Alignment.  Even “good” paths can be out of alignment if they are done for the sake of money and power.  This is a time where we want to focus on our mission and sense of purpose and help those in need who cannot help themselves.  It is a time to realize that when we do things from a position of Divine Service, that we will be provided for.  If we are not furthering our own path right now, then we want to consider helping someone else out.  Doing this, will build up Celestial Insurance that can help us out on rougher days.

New friendships, partnerships and relationships that start under this influence can be a powerful asset in our life.  These are likely to be the people that will have our back.  They will be the people that can bring good fortune our way, and sincerely want us to be successful in what we do.  However, they are also strong enough to call us out when we are off track, tell us the truth when we don’t want to hear it, and let us know when we are out of hand.  These are truly some of the best people in our life.

I welcome you to learn as much as you can from the experiences that you are having.  What if your experiences are teaching you what is and is not a successful path?

I welcome you to stay out of victim mindsets.  What if you are only a victim if you give into bullies instead of standing up to them?

I welcome you to realize that fame and fortune is usually a path of destruction.  What if those things will never make you superior; and trying to be superior to others is avoiding your own true beauty and gifts?

I welcome you to realize that even “good” paths can get out of alignment if they are being done for money and power.  What if true success is always rooted in sincerely being in Divine Service because of the benefits that it provides?

I welcome you to embrace the gift of those who will tell you the truth, even if you don’t like it.  What if these are some of the best people you can have in your life?

For those in the Northern Hemisphere, there is the Flower Moon, the Planting Moon, and the Milk Moon.  In the energy of the Flower Moon, we are called to tap into our true abundance and worth.  This is where we will find successes, even when others try to break our Spirit and seek to make us suffer because of their own greed.  It is important to stay focused on the things that need to get done, and don’t allow others to manipulate us into doing their work too; no matter how much they try to guilt us into it.  The people doing this, are simply lazy and trying to make us slave to them.

In the energy of the Planting Moon, we need to be careful of those that are jealous and trying to compete with us.  We will want to stay focused on our own work, and doing the best we can.  While some will likely give us recognition for a job well done; others will try to take advantage of our successes and generosity.  Be careful of those that say they are working in humanitarian ways, but are really just using that to bring in a lot of money for themselves.  We need to know the difference between those who are in true need and those that only appear that way to get a free ride and are too lazy to put in the effort needed to help themselves.

In the energy of the Milk Moon, we are likely to be able to make some strong advancements.  This is especially true where what we are doing comes from Divine Service, and supports God and Divine Presence in our world.  It is a time where we could see strong power battles arise from positive progression, protecting people from tyranny, and out of retaliation for successes made by those helping humanity and increasing Divine Presence in the world.  We could very easily see military action, the Navy, and world leaders quite active at this time.  True leaders will bring people together and help them to work as a team.  They realize successes take many people working together; and they will not take the credit for what others have done.  They end wars and remove people safely; instead of starting them or retreating and leaving many behind to be killed.

I welcome you to tap into your true abundance and worth.  What if this is where you find success; even when others try to break your Spirit and make you suffer?

I welcome you to stay focused on your own work, and don’t worry about others.  What if this is a time for you to embrace your own successes; without letting others take advantage of you?

I welcome you to embrace the strong advancements that you are making.  What if it is important to move forward with them, even if those working in corruption don’t like it?

For those in the Southern Hemisphere, we have the Hunter’s Moon, Beaver Moon and the Frost Moon.  In the energy of the Hunter’s Moon, we are called to work in responsible and practical ways.  It can be a great time to get things done; but it is important that we do them from compassion and unconditional love.  The key is to realize that sometimes, compassion means saying no to those that are just looking to dump work on us.  The key is to say no with a loving presence and kindness.  Remember, that even if someone doesn’t like your answer now, they may respect it in the future.  People from our past can reemerge at this time, and that includes past loves.  True love never dies, no matter how much time passes.  We will have to look at things carefully and decide if this must remain in the past, needs to be given another chance, or has a place in our future.  We need to know if it is offering us true love or just there to provoke us into reactions that create an unfavorable future for us.

In the energy of the Beaver Moon, we also see the aspects of the past resurfacing.  The key is to face all situations with unconditional love and inner peace.  Some things may be resurfacing specifically so we can make peace with them; even if they are not meant to be in our life.  We can never fully move on unless we create peace with what has been.  The ability to do this blesses you, others, and the situation.

In the energy of the Frost Moon, we find that things may be on hold or paused in some way.  We need to come to understand the reason behind doing the things that we are doing.  If we are doing them just for fame, fortune, and to prove superiority; they we will not be able to move forward.  Instead, we will want to consider doing something because it is a passion that is deep within our heart and it allows us to share our gifts and talents with the world.  It is about doing things because it creates partnerships, friendships, and relationships that help each other in need.  It is a call to live and do things from the heart, and not just for some reward or financial compensation.

I welcome you to know that sometimes compassion and unconditional love means saying no.  What if you do no one any service by allowing them to dump their work on you and take advantage of you?

I welcome you to make peace with those aspects of your past that are resurfacing.  What if you can never fully move on unless you create peace with what has been?

I welcome you to do things because they allow you to share your gifts and talents with the world.  What if beautiful partnerships, relationships, and friendships are formed from doing this?
