YAY! OK, so, do the batsblings get to babysit ever? If yes, what is the order in which they are asked if they aren't banned from babysitting(and yes, this can include the grandparent(bruce) or great-grandparent(alfred))

Yeah when they find out, which depending on the bat sibling was sometime before the twins were born and a little bit after. Cass is the #1 babysitter and after that it depends on how annoying they were to Jason, cause most times Dan will let Clockwork babysit. Bruce gets regularly banned from babysitting and then Alfred ends up babysitting, Jason is kinda still bitter about the stalking incident...

Dick ends up crying when he babysits, Tim's an okay babysitter but he's busy most days, Cass and Steph love babysitting and take them out to shop often. Damian doesn't babysit, mostly cause he doesn't understand how to treat them so he would need someone else to be with him to help.

I can't find my post but I still think the reason a lot of jason and cass interactions feel off is because we need to address that they're the exact opposite in that cass killed and was changed by the toll it took on her to take a life, and spends so much time believing she needs to give her life to atone. meanwhile jason was killed and was changed because he knows what it is to die and lose your whole life, and he willingly becomes a murderer to save people.

even in respects to the emphasis being on victims vs mourners? cass (who has taken a bullet for a murderer) allowed a killing to occur when she could've stopped it and it was when a murderer was on death row but the mother of his victim told cass she had to let him die because her daughter died. Cass wasn't happy about it, but she stepped aside. jason kills specifically to stop there being future victims. this is what motivates his first kill and every other kill in lost days. when he asks bruce to kill joker, it's not so that bruce or anyone else will be at peace knowing someone who hurt others is dead. it's so that jason (the victim) will, theoretically, be content. so that there won't be other ppl who become victims of the joker's.

their case isn't as simple as loving or hating the other. they have to exist in a weird grey space with each other unless you're forcing them to not think about themselves entirely. their relationship would honestly have to be more complicated than the average bat relationship and that's saying a lot.

i won't bother getting the bingo card back out for laziness reasons but my opinion on koncass is that they are the platonic couple ever, to me. they're like the perfect pair for the fake dating trope where it's actually fake. they tried one date and decided actually, they prefer to be friends, and this means the absolute world to my arospec ass. i strongly dislike them as a romantic ship because i think their completely nonromantic friendship means so so so much more. it's important to me... that's gay man/lesbian solidarity right there. i LOVE them together without any romance though because like... they absolutely have sooo much to bond over. two living weapons from extraordinarily different origins. she likes to listen. he likes to talk. no one has ever tried so hard to make her laugh before. he sees her as a person, not a fighter, not a tool. he met her and thought she looks like she'd be a good dancer. not a killer. a dancer. i know that means the world to her. i know he flies around while she perches in strange and off-putting ways on his shoulder and nods seriously as he infodumps about the queer subtext in wendy the werewolf stalker. they could kiss about it if they wanted. they are absolutely 100% completely not at all romantically interested in each other. it's a kind of haven.
