To Ryan, Tim, Rashad, our brilliant writers, undeniably dedicated crew, my irreplaceably talented cast mates (friends), thank you for allowing me to be me.

To the fans, I love you so incredibly much.

OKAY! Here’s my unwanted two cents about it. Am I happy that Carlos is a Texas Ranger? Yes! I am happy. He looks great in the Ranger uniform and this includes a hat too right? Then HOLY SHIT! Carlos in a cowboy hat. Possibly his dad’s. It’s going to be good. And also it’s a great opportunity for Rafa to show his talent.

Having said that, it’s also sad too. Like I’m really going to miss Hot Patrol Officer Reyes with his tight short sleeved shirts and I’m really really going to miss joint Tarlos rescues. 😭💔

Also, I remember Tim Minear once said that they don’t have plans to make Carlos a Ranger because then he wouldn’t be around much. Which is making me so sad thinking maybe this IS the end. The final season. But who knows? Maybe they’ll change the character in a true lone star style. 🤞🏽

So it’s bittersweet. But I cannot wait to watch this new season. It’s going to be Epic!

Carlos and his TWO BELTS

I've seen some people wondering about Carlos and his two belts...back before we had any confirmation that Carlos was going to be a Texas Ranger, I looked up information about the Texas Ranger uniform and noticed that some of them wore two belts. I found this explaining the reason for the two belts:

Then, when we got our first glimpse of Carlos in his new uniform back in early July and he was wearing two belts, that undoubtedly confirmed Ranger Carlos Reyes to me before there was any official confirmation of his new position. (I mean, the Ranger star he's wearing also confirms it, but for me, it's the TWO BELTS)

It's interesting that Gabriel never wore two belts and I don't think any of the other Rangers seen on the show did either. I wonder if they just didn't really research Texas Rangers uniforms until one of their main characters was becoming one 😂
