Dude Buck literally said he was an ally stop taking things at face value. If Eddie was truly straight then he would really have no reason to mention it in a conversation with his priest. Or mention it at all.
the priest revealed himself after eddie said he was straight.
i would be so happy if eddie and buck end up together because they are PERFECT for each other
but, this show has been going on for sooo long now, till couple of years ago i was rooting for eddie to come out but I've given up now, its a tv show the writers don't want him to go that way

looking at how bucktommy ended, im convinced they were never meant to be, somebody just woke up one day and went like bisexual buck is gonna hike up the engagement get everybody talking lets do it
because the story ended so abruptly. the whole speech about pre glee and post glee was so good and buck was literally thinking long term with this guy while tommy was convinced that the thing with buck isn't gonna last like they're just passing time

parents who refuse to hold their babies annoy the fuck outta me
the other day this cousin, who had her second baby before her older turned an year old, was at this birthday party. she has a habit of offloading both her babies to relatives in any gathering. the little one isn't even an year old was crying like crazy but the cousin waited till everyone else at the party to try their luck at calming her before she took the baby and she calmed down.
babies need their parent!!! the asshole father was God knows where and the mum coming in as a last resort is sickening to me
this couple refuses to use birth control makes their children everyone else's problem

Sweet chestnut leaf with gold calligraphic inscription, Turkey, 19th century
The leaf is inscribed with a Qur’anic verse from Surat al-Isra’ (“The Night Journey,” Q17:80): “And say, ‘Lord grant me a good entrance and a goodly exit, and sustain me with Your power.”

even before watching monsters I've seen people strongly hating the show like truly despising it, being disgusted by it and i thought maybe they justified the sexual abuse cause at this point streaming networks aren't above that anything can be expected. but im on episode 5 and they're not doing that?? are people mad that they're talking about sexual abuse in such detail? it happens all over the world... and anyone who molests a child deserves to die the most gruesome death...
also, I've never considered netflix shows that are made to be documentaries to be even half truths they are tooo dramatised to be anywhere near truth. and this show isn't even made as a documentary, its a tv show why are people offended on behalf of that family?

I once saw it said that the reason Steve's ending in Endgame was so hated was because it was the antithesis of what the character was made to represent and I think this is very true.
It presented a Disney-esque "happy ending" but in and of itself beyond the numerous flaws and plot holes required for it, it is a "happy ending" exclusively for the "right" kind of people—allegedly infallible pillars of unwavering virture; "the good guys" but only the best of best—at least that's what we're told and only while completely disregarding if not erasing what made them "good" in the first place.
That is an ability to grow from flaws and prejudice judgemental mindsets and an unwillingness to rest until every person—especially the "other", especially the "wrong" kind of people have a right and a way to find their own happy endings.
Steve Rogers is a character who was born of two Jewish men trying to accomplish encouraging exactly this in a time where fighting Nazis was still seen as unpopular and unnecessary. He was an act of peaceful and creative activism and genuine heroism in my opinion.
He was made to fight for the "little guys", the "others" who couldn't fight for themselves. To save and inspire the people who needed it. To protect them. The messaging is essential to the core of what makes Steve Rogers "Steve Rogers".
He will not, can not rest until every person—not just "the right people" has their chance at a happy ending. This is true patriotism—holding your country accountable for its claims and making sure they ring true for everyone, not just select people. He would never be happy or satisfied being stuck in an environment where he knows that he has not only stopped caring about the "little guys", but has done so solely to satisfy his own selfish whims.
He would not be happy with a partner who is comfortable doing the same or comfortable with him doing this. He just wouldn't be happy.
How could he be if he's sold out completely and made himself at home with white privilege? If he's forgotten everything he learned from the people who supported him and the promises he made to them? That's just not who Steve Rogers is or was or ever should be. Endgame created a version of him that was the antithesis of what Steve Rogers represents—of course people will be upset by this.
When you couple this with the bullying scandal—however far into it you believe. At best, Ms. Atwell made various tasteless and callous remarks that encouraged the worst of a fandom to be awful to people who by and far did not deserve it. At worst, she fully intended something like this to happen or worse to Ms. VanCamp—regardless of what you believe, Sharon as a character and the actress who played were horribly treated and what happened was incredibly unfair.
It leaves a bad taste in the mouth. It feels tainted. It feels worse to know I financially supported it.
Steve Rogers went from the guy who stands up to bullying to the guy who stands beside the biggest ones.
How can that be Steve Rogers?
