Maybe Mark will integrate enough for his innie to remember the ‘Fuck You Lumon’ song that Petey’s daughter’s band played in S1 and he can teach it to the marching band.

i want mark scout to suffer the consequences of his actions and i want mark s to suffer through the consequences of being alive. omark is going to have to acknowledge that his innie is a real person and arguably living a more fulfilling life than he is. imark is going to have to take care of himself for the first time ever. like what do you mean i have to remember to eat and shower and brush my teeth and sleep everyday. what do you mean there’s no refining/perks to distract me from the traumatic reality of my existence. tldr they will both eventually be pleading to get sent back to the eternal torment nexus.

and what if we stop pinning mark against mark cuz outtie mark and innie mark are both victims of Lumon’s exploitation and what if maybe Lumon is the bad guy for their immoral exploitation that has placed both these individual consciousness into one body without any pondering of ethical dilemmas so they can further their corporate cult’s agenda

severance is so fun when you don’t have a chronically online think piece writer yelling in your ear about how outie mark is evil

People talking about that last scene of the Severance s2 finale and Gemma just standing there shouting for Mark to follow her instead of getting out while she can, and why, and to be fair I didn't get it at first either, but
I think we're overcomplicating it.
Gemma has just gotten out of the basement where she's been trapped for two years. Did she suspect she was never going to leave alive? It's possible; regardless of what Lumon told her to get her down there she's smart enough to pick up on the things they aren't telling her (and has been fighting back even before Cold Harbor). The last time she was conscious her husband was covered in blood and rushing her to the elevator which they had to drag a bloody corpse out of (that has to be where the blood is from. oh my god he killed someone to get down here) while being chased. Now there are alarms going off and they don't have much time left to escape (lumon is probably willing to kill in order to keep this from getting out. i was in a basement for two years, this would ruin them, and they clearly don't have too many moral restrictions) and Mark. Is just standing there.
Does she know he's severed? Maybe, if she figured it out from how he was looking at her from outside the stairwell (it's obviously a severance threshold), but also irrelevant. What she can put together is that Lumon is not happy about this, and they are almost certainly willing to kill if it's in their best interests. Mark. Why are you standing there Mark. We don't have much time. They're going to kill you. Mark.
