The Tarantula Nebula, C103 (lower right) // Pratastrocat
Zoomed out, the Tarantula Nebula dominates the view of the Large Magellanic Cloud. Rich in gas and dust, the LMC is currently undergoing vigorous star formation. American astronomer Robert Burnham Jr. (1931-1993) calls the LMC an "astronomical treasure-house, a great celestial laboratory for the study of the growth and evolution of the stars."

Tarantula Nebula
NGC 2070 in Dorado Caldwell 103 If any astronomical object truly inspires me, it is the Tarantula Nebula. It appears as a large emission nebula in our telescopes – yet it’s far away in a satellite galaxy 160,000 light years away, the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Continue reading Tarantula Nebula

Goga Bitadze ejected after Kristaps Porzingis altercation in Magic win
A game between the Celtics and Magic turned physical in the fourth quarter Monday night, prompting Goga Bitadze to be ejected from Amway Arena. The incident occurred with 3:36 left in the fourth quarter with the Magic holding a 103-93 lead. A dead ball resulted after Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was fouled following a 3-point attempt by Derrick White. Kristaps Porzingis and Jalen Suggs were booing…

Washington Wizards Move Aaron Holiday to Phoenix Suns
Tumblr media
On February 10th, 2022, the Washington Wizards traded guard Aaron Holiday to the Phoenix Suns for cash considerations. The Wizards also received a trade exception.
Aaron Holiday became a member of the Washington Wizards when he was included in a five-team blockbuster trade where he was sent from the Indiana Pacers. The humongous deal also saw the Wizards add Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope from the Los Angeles Lakers and Spencer Dinwiddie from the Brooklyn Nets.
The Wizards also came into the 2021-22 season with a new head coach in Wes Unseld Jr. Washington went 10-3 in its first 13 games. However, the season soon headed south.
The Wizards fell to 15-15 after a 5-12 stretch. After getting to 23-21, a 1-8 moment dropped the club to 24-29. By the trade deadline, Washington went for a makeover. Davis Bertans and Dinwiddie were traded to the Dallas Mavericks for Kristaps Porzingis and Harrell was dealt to the Charlotte Hornets for Ish Smith, Vernon Carey Jr. and a second round pick.
Holiday was the final piece moved. He spent his first season in Washington in and out of the rotation. Overall, the guard appeared in 41 games (14 starts) and compiled 6.1 PPG, 1.6 RPG, 1.9 APG and 0.6 SPG in 16.2 MPG.
Tumblr media
After the trade, Holiday assumed a backup role in Phoenix. The Suns went 19-8 after the trade deadline, finishing the 2021-22 season with an NBA-best 64-18 record. Holiday averaged 6.8 PPG, 2.5 RPG, 3.4 APG and 0.8 SPG in 16.3 MPG through 22 games.
In the playoffs, Phoenix was the first seed and faced the 36-46 New Orleans Pelicans in the first round. The opener saw Phoenix jump out to a 19-point lead at halftime. Though the Pelicans cut into the deficit in the second half, the Suns held on for a 110-99 win.
The second game was close, but New Orleans hit 17 threes and outscored Phoenix 69-53 in the second half to win 125-114. In the game, Suns star Devin Booker injured his right hamstring and would miss several games.
In Game Three, the Suns led by double digits at halftime and held a 66-53 advantage in the third quarter. The Pelicans stormed back and the rest of the contest was tight.
With the game tied with 6:49 left in the fourth quarter, Chris Paul took over. The veteran point guard scored 14 of his 28 total points during the rest of the game as Phoenix won 114-111. The fourth game saw Brandon Ingram record 30 points and Jonas Jonas Valančiūnas put up 26 points and 15 rebounds as the Pelicans won 118-103.
In Game Five, Suns forward Mikal Bridges got hot early and he finished with 31 points in a 112-97 Suns win. Booker returned for Game Six. The Pelicans led at halftime by 10 points but the Suns used a 12-5 close in the final two minutes to win 115-109 and close out the series 4-2.
Holiday played in two games and eight minutes and 14 seconds in the first round. The guard averaged 5.0 PPG and 2.0 APG in the series.
The Suns advanced to the second round where they matched up with the Dallas Mavericks and star Luka Dončić. The Suns built a 17-point lead after three quarters and withstood 45 points from Dončić in a 121-114 win.
The Suns took a 2-0 series lead after Booker and Paul combined for 58 points in a 129-109 rout. Game Three featured Dončić scoring 26 points and guard Jalen Brunson put up 28 points as Dallas won at home 103-94. The Mavericks tied the series 2-2 after a 111-101 Game Four victory.
In Game Five, Phoenix outscored Dallas 61-34 in the second half of a 110-80 blowout win. Dallas responded with a 113-86 rout in Game Six. The Mavericks never trailed in Game Seven, leading by 30 at halftime and by as much as 46 in a stunning 123-90 game.
The Suns lost and were eliminated in the second round. Holiday appeared in four semifinal games, managing 2.8 PPG and 1.3 APG in 2.9 MPG
In the offseason, Holiday became an unrestricted free agent after Phoenix decided not to tender the guard a $5.8 million qualifying offer. Holiday signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Hawks for the veteran's minimum.
Tumblr media
Aaron Holiday on how the trade is great in terms of location (via Arizona Republic):
"Man, it's probably one of the best things. My parents are like a 45-minute flight away now, so they could probably visit us more often. They can honestly drive if they want to. I have family here in Phoenix, my brother is now in Sacramento."
On joining the Suns:
"I was up here watching them play the [Milwaukee] Bucks last year. The atmosphere is crazy. The team is obviously really good, really talented. They were number one in the league without me, so hopefully I can keep that going. I'm just here to do my job and help the best way I can."
How he's already acclimated to Phoenix:
"Man, I'm already acclimated. I'm from the West Coast. This (Phoenix) weather is nice, reminds me of back home. It's not too hot right now."
Suns forward and new acquisition Torrey Craig on Holiday (via Arizona Republic):
"He's a defensive-minded guy. He plays like a vet as well. Plays at a good pace, and I think he'll fit in perfect with this group and what we're trying to accomplish here."

NGC 2070 (also known as Caldwell 103) is a large open cluster and candidate super star cluster forming the heart of the bright region in the centre-south-east of the Large Magellanic Cloud.[2] It is at the centre of the Tarantula Nebula and produces most of the energy that makes the latter's gas and dust visible. Its central condensation is the star cluster R136, one of the most energetic star clusters known.[3] Among its stars are many of great dimension, including the second most massive star known, R136a1, at 215 M☉ and 6.16 million L☉. The Tarantula Nebula, C103 // Brian Boyle
The Tarantula Nebula is one of the largest and brightest star-forming regions in our slice of the local universe. It has a diameter of about 1,200 light years and is so bright that, if placed at the distance the Orion Nebula (M42) is at, it would cast visible shadows on Earth.
Inside the Tarantula Nebula, massive stars are carving deep cavities in the surrounding material by unleashing a torrent of ultraviolet light, which is winnowing away at the enveloping hydrogen gas cloud in which the stars were born. When this UV radiation hits dense walls of gas, it creates shocks, which may generate new waves of star birth.

Name Predictions for Caldwell-Duggar #4 - Boy
In case you missed it, Joe and Kendra were spotted out to dinner last week with a brand new baby in tow. This baby was wrapped in a green blanket and didn’t have a bow on its head so it is suspected to be a boy, but that is not confirmed. While they have yet to publicly confirm this new addition to the family, it doesn’t really make sense to belong to anyone else. Jed and Katey were not present so it likely isn’t Truett, and the baby appeared too young to be Josiah and Lauren’s, who are rumored to have welcomed a new addition in March 2022. As of the time of writing this, Joe and Kendra have remained radio silent, so I figure I should go ahead and make my predictions now in case they announce soon. This post will contain only boys’ names, but I may make a follow up with girls’ names soon.
Tumblr media
Previous Naming Information
Joe and Kendra have three known children, not including this rumored baby: a son, Garrett David (b. 2018), and two daughters, Addison Renee (b. 2019) and Brooklyn Praise (b. 2021). Their oldest two children share one name with their parents. Garrett’s first name is his father’s middle name, and Addison’s middle name of Renee is the same as Kendra’s middle name. Brooklyn shares her name with the middle name of Joe’s youngest sister Josie, but I think that is only a coincidence.
Joe and Kendra seem to have different naming styles for their boys vs. their girls. Their son has a mix of a family name with a classic Biblical name, while their daughters have what I am not-so-affectionately referring to as “trendy in 2013″ names. And in fact, Addison peaked in popularity in 2010, and Brooklyn similarly peaked in 2014. There has also been speculation that Joe and Kendra have a double-letter name theme, but I'm not sure if I believe that. To me, it just seems that they picked a family name for their son and two girls names that paired well together (Addison and Brooklyn are about the most similar style they possibly could have picked IMO). Since Brooklyn did not have a family middle name, I am not going to predict that they use any more for girls, but it is possible that they still will for boys.
Tumblr media
Preliminary Predictions
I will begin as I usually do picking out names in the Social Security Administration’s top 500 baby names that contain double letters, excluding names they have already used and names of other GrandDuggars (and Muhammad, can safely say that’s out). This will be long list, so feel free to skim or scroll past if you wish.
Boys
William (#6)
Wyatt (#29)
Matthew (#36) / Matteo (#166) (not Italian) / Matthias (#450)
Isaac (#40)
Aaron (#65)
Cooper (#68)
Brooks (#77)
Everett (#82)
Bennett (#90)
Connor (#97)
Emmett (#103)
Harrison (#120)
Giovanni (#124) / Gianni (#390) (not Italian)
Rhett (#148)
Maxwell (#163)
Messiah (#172)
Maddox (#174)
Finn (#184) / Finnegan (#376)
Emmanuel (#191)
Barrett (#192) (too close to Garrett)
Beckett (#198)
Jesse (#203)
Jett (#244)
Lennox (#254)
Kenneth (#258)
Atticus (#266)
Dallas (#270)
Callum (#273)
Ellis (#321)
Gunner (#324)
Otto (#336)
Warren (#345)
Killian (#347)
Russell (#352)
Tanner (#358)
Briggs (#372)
Sullivan (#373)
Callan (#375) / Callen (#458)
Marshall (#379)
Apollo (#400) (Greek god? Too pagan)
Quinn (#405)
Forrest (#414)
Reed (#416)
Collin (#421)
Jeffrey (#425)
Johnny (#436)
Tripp (#445)
Wells (#479)
Cassius (#485)
Keegan (#494)
Sonny (#497)
Of these, a few stand out that I think could fit really well for Joe and Kendra. My favorites for them include William, Wyatt, Isaac, Cooper, Everett, Bennett, Connor, Harrison, Beckett, Gunner and Reed. And another double letter first name pick I'll throw in is Caldwell, Kendra’s maiden name.
And what if they’re not doing a double letter theme for this baby? Some names I think fit with Garrett, Addison, and Brooklyn in popularity pattern, length (sometimes), and overall vibe are Christian, Dylan, Caleb, Ryan, Wesley, Tucker, Timothy, Preston, Caiden, and Nicholas.
Since Garrett’s middle name is from Joe’s side of the family, I am expecting this baby’s middle name to be after Kendra’s father: either Paul or Gene, probably Paul. James or Robert are always dark horses in this family though.
Tumblr media
My Final Predictions
I don’t know if they’ll ever confirm this baby publicly, so who knows if we’ll find out if my guesses are right or wrong. Oh well, this is just for fun (and mostly for me anyway). I don’t know if they would ever use this name, but I really love Bennett for Joe and Kendra. Both of the girls have names ending in “-n,” so perhaps they’d pick a boy name ending in “-t” to match Garrett. Everett and Beckett could also be close contenders.
If the name doesn’t contain double letters, I have to go with Tucker or Wesley. I couldn’t really tell you why other than that I think they fit well with Garrett, Addison, and Brooklyn. Or maybe it’s because Garrett reminds me of a Tucker and Wesley I know in real life. (Nevermind, just said Tucker Duggar out loud and I hate it. Quick substitution for Christian).
My top choice for middle name is Paul over Gene, just because that is the name that Paul Caldwell goes by in real life. If the middle name is for Joe’s side of the family rather than Kendra’s it’ll be James.
And to finish off this novel of a post, here are my top ten predictions.
Bennett Paul
Everett Paul
Beckett James
Christian Gene
Wesley Paul
William James
Cooper Paul
Wyatt James
Dylan Paul
Nicholas Paul
