between the people on twitter calling caitlyn an emotional, financial, and sexual abuser(I don’t know where that one especially came from). Calling her a ‘nasty white lady’ even though she Asian. Them going mad that Reed just have an opinion on caitlyn and now their saying he’s pandering after the racial slurs thrown at him by white caitlyn stans even though caitlyn herself isn’t real and didn’t do anything to him.
Caitlyn Kirraman you’ll always be famous

This was the last time she saw of her mother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This part when the casket was closing Caitlyn was not only on the verge of breaking into tears but she was also inching her head to see her mother's face a little more before she couldn't see her again 💔
Tumblr media
These two clashed in just about every scene they shared, never able to see eye-to-eye. And now with Cassandra dead, Caitlyn will never have another chance to bridge the gap with her mother. So many things left unsaid. And This is so sad Imagine losing a parent who wasn't easy on you and yet she loves you so much
(she’s broken manipulated and vengeful)

A BREAK
authors note — honestly this would rlly be a thing to happen so yeah! i dont like this but here we go, i hope yall like it!
pairings — caitlyn x fem!reader 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩
nervous —the neighbourhood playing!
Becoming the sheriff of Piltover had certainly taken its toll on Caitlyn. She had anticipated the workload that came with the promotion, but the stress and frustration continued to slowly creep up on her. She barely noticed it, but you did.
She was still the Kiramman you fell for, but you could tell she was starting to get lost in all the cases and pressure. You try not to feel neglected with the long nights of her being lost in work, the soft touches that just weren't enough, and even the conversations were starting to becoming forced instead of natural and playful like usual.
Caitlyn noticed too, but she just couldn't crack it. The confrontation made her feel too guilty, so she decided to avoid it and focus on her work.
She sits at her desk in her excluded office in the station, staring down at all the case files with furrowed eyebrows. Her dark blue hair was pulled into a messy ponytail, stray strands of her hair framing her face perfectly and her uniform feeling too comfortable and worn on her body, almost like a second skin at this point.
She groans as a knock sounds at her door, but the crease between her eyebrows relaxes as you slip into her office. She sighs, dropping the pen in her hand and flexing her fingers, "y/n, baby, what are you doing here?"
Her voice was a little tired, but her British accent was thick and smooth, and still authoritative as ever. "I thought you were saying home today."
You offer Caitlyn a soft smile, stepping further into her office and shutting the door gently behind you. The atmosphere feels heavy, but you’re determined to lighten it, even if only for a moment.
"I was going to," you admit, crossing the room to stand beside her desk. "But I figured the sheriff of Piltover could use a little break." Your tone is teasing, but there’s a warmth to it that makes her lips twitch in what might be the start of a smile.
Caitlyn leans back in her chair, her sharp features softening slightly as she looks up at you. “A break?” she echoes, a faint skepticism in her voice. “Do you know how many cases are piled up here? I’ve barely scratched the surface.”
You reach out, resting a hand gently over hers on the desk. Her fingers are cool against your touch, and you can feel the tension in the way they hesitate before relaxing beneath your palm. “That’s exactly why you need one,” you say softly. “You’re overworking yourself, Caitlyn. I can see it. And if you burn out, what good will that do for Piltover?”
She lets out a quiet sigh, her gaze dropping to where your hands are entwined. For a moment, she doesn’t say anything, and you wonder if you’ve pushed too far. But then, her free hand comes up to brush a stray strand of hair from her face, and she looks at you with an expression that’s equal parts grateful and conflicted.
“I know,” she murmurs, her voice quieter now, almost vulnerable. “It’s just... there’s so much to do, and I—”
“You don’t have to do it all alone,” you interrupt gently. “You’ve got people who care about you, Caitlyn. Who want to help.” You pause, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. “Including me.”
Her lips part as if to respond, but instead, she exhales a long breath, leaning her head back against the chair and closing her eyes. For the first time in what feels like weeks, she allows herself a moment of reprieve.
“Alright,” she finally says, opening her eyes to meet yours. There’s a faint glimmer of something softer there, though her exhaustion is still evident. “You win. But just for a little while.”
You smile, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to her temple. “That’s all I’m asking for.”
Caitlyn allows herself to relax, if only for a moment, as you pull her into a brief but comforting embrace. Maybe the cases would wait, just this once. For you, she decides, they could.
Caitlyn lets out a small hum as she buries her face into the crook of your neck, her arms wrapping loosely around your waist. She breathes in your familiar scent, one that has always brought her comfort amidst the chaos. For a moment, it feels like the weight of her responsibilities melts away, leaving just the two of you in this quiet reprieve.
“You’re too good to me, you know that?” she murmurs, her voice muffled but still carrying that refined British tone. There’s a hint of guilt laced in her words, but you don’t let it linger.
“Someone has to be,” you reply lightly, your fingers trailing through the messy strands of her ponytail. “Otherwise, I’m afraid you’d work yourself into the ground.”
She chuckles softly against you, a rare sound these days, and you feel a small spark of hope. “You might be right,” she admits, pulling back slightly to look at you. Her tired eyes search your face, as though grounding herself in your presence. “I just don’t know how to... stop. There’s always something, someone, waiting for me to fix it.”
You cup her cheek gently, your thumb brushing over her skin. “I know. And that’s what makes you incredible, Caitlyn. You care so much about everyone else. But you have to let yourself breathe, too. Let me take care of you for a change.”
Her lips press into a thin line, her expression softening as her eyes glisten slightly. She doesn’t cry, but you can tell your words are reaching her. Caitlyn has always been strong, sometimes to a fault, but this moment of vulnerability feels like progress.
She leans into your touch, her cheek warm against your palm. “Alright,” she whispers, her voice almost breaking. “I’ll try. For you.”
You smile, leaning in to kiss her gently, a kiss that holds all the love and reassurance you’ve been waiting to give her. When you pull away, you nod toward the case files on her desk. “But for now, those can wait. Come home with me. We’ll have dinner, something simple, and you can actually rest for once.”
Caitlyn hesitates, glancing back at the mountain of work on her desk, but the pull of your offer is stronger. She nods, her fingers lacing with yours as she stands. “Dinner sounds perfect,” she says, her voice softer now, a faint smile tugging at her lips.
As you leave the station together, hand in hand, you can feel some of the tension leave her frame. Maybe it wouldn’t all be fixed in one night, but it’s a start. And you’re determined to be by her side every step of the way.

I love complex characters that make you feel. Yes, make bad decisions for good reasons, have good motives and take wrong actions, be good and be bad, be complex, in all your fictional beauty master being real, being human, being too much.

To anyone complaining about how quickly Vi forgave Caitlyn:
Cait's story in season 2 is one Vi's seen before.
Cait's lost a parent. She feels responsible for it, and in her lowest moment, someone much more powerful comes along with all their ill intentions to take her under their wing and prey on her vulnerability. They use her as a weapon by feeding into her fears and her desire for affection, for comfort.
"You're the one acting like her" isn't a jab, it's the truth. And if there's one thing Vi will always do, it's see the good left in her sister.
So when the same thing happens to Cait, why shouldn't she see the good in her too?

will forever be a Caitlyn defender because I genuinely don't understand how people hate her?
like, I totally acknowledge that her actions while being manipulated by Ambessa are undoubtedly problematic in the impact they had on the citizens of Zaun, however her determined pursuit over Jinx is totally justified.
Caitlyn's knowledge and only experiences with Jinx include nearly being blown up in explosions started by Jinx (multiple times), and being kidnapped by Jinx WHILE SHE WAS IN THE SHOWER!? it's strange to me that people don't act like they would be just as vengeful, fearful, and traumatized by Jinx's actions. Having the same woman that nearly blew you up multiple times, kidnapped you naked, and then murdered your mother, jeopardising the state of stability and democracy of the entire city would make anybody unstable.
while yes, Vi told Caitlyn positive stories about Jinx, Caitlyn's only experiences with Jinx have been overwhelmingly negative.
anyway I have so much more to say about this, but I wish people would think critically about the motivation behind character actions.
also respect to the animators and writers for showing nuance in the way systematic oppression impacts interpersonal relationships.

Amanda (writer of Arcane) said: (She's asking Cait for the impossible. But that's what grief does to you🖤)
Even the writers and actors explain the impossibility of the situation, and these kids still don't get it.
These people literally forgot what Caitlyn went through and are now calling her a fascist cop and a dictator. Just bc she wants revenge on the person who ruined her life and also wants to protect her people.

cry baby - the neighbourhood playing!
Caitlyn stood there, frozen, as if the rain had locked her in place. She couldn’t chase after you—not yet. Her feet refused to move, weighed down by guilt and the crushing weight of what she’d just let happen. Her hand lingered in the air where you had been, now clutching at nothing but cold, empty space.
The rain was relentless, soaking through her clothes and dripping from her lashes, but she barely felt it. The only thing she could feel was the absence of you. And, gods, it hurt more than any wound she’d ever endured.
“Fuck,” she whispered, her voice cracking under the weight of it all.
She wanted to go after you, to make you stay, but what could she even say now? Every word she’d tried had been a nail in the coffin. Every step closer to you had been a step closer to losing you for good. And the worst part? You were right.
You’d been there for her through everything. Every scraped knee, every sleepless night, every time she doubted herself or the weight of the Kiramman name. You were her anchor, her constant in a world that often felt like it was spinning out of control.
But Vi… Vi was a storm, unpredictable and wild. She was everything Caitlyn had never been allowed to be, and that scared her as much as it thrilled her. She was drawn to Vi like a moth to a flame, even though she knew it might burn her—and now, worse, you.
She finally managed to take a step forward, the puddle beneath her feet rippling as if mirroring the chaos inside her.
“Y/N!” she called out, her voice raw and desperate. “Please—don’t go!”
You didn’t stop, your figure disappearing into the misty haze of rain. Caitlyn felt her chest tighten, panic clawing at her throat. Was this it? Was this how it ended?
“Dammit,” she muttered, running a hand through her drenched hair. She didn’t care about the mud splashing onto her polished boots as she sprinted after you, her heart pounding louder than the rain.
When she finally caught up to you, she grabbed your arm—not harshly, but firmly enough to make you stop. You turned to her, tears streaming down your face, blending with the rain, and it shattered her all over again.
“Just listen,” she pleaded, her voice trembling. “I’m sorry, alright? I’m so sorry for making you feel like you’re not enough—because you are. You always have been.”
You pulled your arm away again, this time with less anger and more exhaustion. “Then why, Cait? Why do you keep doing this? Why do I feel like I’m always the second choice?”
She stepped closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. “You’re not second choice. You’re everything. I just… I don’t know how to make sense of all of this, and I hate myself for it.”
Her hands trembled at her sides as she looked into your eyes, her own brimming with tears. “But losing you? That’s the one thing I know I can’t survive. Please, Y/N, don’t let me screw this up. Don’t let me lose you.”
You hesitated, your lips parting as if to speak, but the words caught in your throat. For a moment, all that filled the space between you was the sound of the rain.
Then, quietly, you asked, “What do you want, Caitlyn? Right here, right now, what do you want?”
Caitlyn’s heart stuttered. She stepped even closer, her voice barely audible but unmistakably certain.
“You,” she said, her voice cracking. “I want you.”
The rain drummed steadily around you both, a symphony of chaos that somehow made the world feel still. Your eyes locked with hers, searching for any hesitation, any lingering doubt. But for once, Caitlyn’s gaze held only certainty—no broken compass, no wavering. Just you.
Her hand moved slowly, trembling as it reached up to cup your cheek. You didn’t pull away this time. Her touch was tentative, almost afraid you’d shatter beneath her fingers, but when you didn’t, her thumb gently brushed against your damp skin.
“Y/N…” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the rain. It was laced with so much—apology, longing, love.
And then, she closed the distance.
Her lips found yours softly at first, almost hesitant, as if asking for permission. But when you didn’t resist—when you leaned into her instead—the hesitation melted away. The kiss deepened, urgent and raw, as though it could somehow undo all the hurt, all the unspoken words that had lingered between you for so long.
The world around you faded—the rain, the cold, the ache in your chest—all of it dissolved into the warmth of her lips, the way she poured every ounce of herself into the kiss. Her other hand moved to your waist, pulling you closer, as if she were afraid you might slip away again.
You finally broke apart, just enough to catch your breath, her forehead resting against yours. Both of you were panting, rainwater and tears mingling on your faces.
“I’m sorry,” she said again, her voice hoarse but sincere. “For everything.”
You shook your head, your hands clutching at the lapels of her soaked jacket as if anchoring yourself. “Just… don’t make me regret this,” you murmured, your voice breaking slightly.
“I won’t,” Caitlyn promised, her voice firm now. “I swear, Y/N. No more doubts, no more running. Just you.”
And then, with a small, tentative smile breaking through the tears, you pulled her into another kiss, this one slower, softer, as if savoring the moment. For now, the storm didn’t matter.
All that mattered was this—her, you, and the fragile, beautiful hope blooming between you.

On the topic of Cait stans downplaying her actions and defending her by using whack ass excuses like “grief” “nuance” “complex female character” and so on and so forth, something just occurred to me. With the recent wave of fans(on arcanwtwt anyway) who seem hellbent on refusing to critically engage with the show or its politics, it become clear to me that people who do that or, “it’s just a show warriors”, as I like to call them, are almost always Cait stans.
Their refusal to think deeply about the show or its themes prevents them from being able to meaningfully defend their fave. Now, do I think they should be defending Caitlyn? Absolutely not! Tryna downplay the actions of a character who gassed minorities, hit her partner, unlawfully arrested people, almost killed a child just to get to one person AND had a highly inappropriate relationship with her subordinate is ridiculous at best, and highly insensitive at worst if you believe that the way you consume media affects your real life politics. I am definitely a believer in that.
However! I am also someone who likes to argue! So! If you’re gonna sit up here and try to defend the indefensible, then actually try! Give me something to work with! Don’t talk about Caitlyn’s “micro expressions” after she literally hit Vi with the butt of her gun not 10 seconds beforehand! That’s one of the more ridiculous excuses for her actions I’ve seen! Her macro actions involve becoming an authoritarian dictator. You need to do better than “micro expressions” if you want to change my mind after she did all she did. Plus, that argument falls flat because you can literally see her curl her lips and hear the way she pronounced all the syllables in “animals” when referring to Zaunites. There’s no defending that, sorry!
In any case, if you want to defend her for real, you’ll have to interrogate the crooked system of Piltover and see Caitlyn as another victim of it. Caitlyn, by virtue of being not just a Piltie but also a Kiramman, has been heavily propagandized against Zaun. So much so that she doesn’t even realize it. She is not a kind person. Not to say that she isn’t capable of kindness ofc, but, she is not a kind person overall. She is literally incapable of being that, because of how she was raised. Caitlyn was raised to see people from the Undercity as criminals. She may think herself kind because she understands that there are “good people down there”, but that’s not good enough.
Unless and until she interrogates her subconscious biases towards Zaun, she will never be the kind person so many people in the fandom make her out to be. But, it’s not all her fault. It’s the entire culture of Piltover. They prime Pilties to view Zaunites as beneath them from birth; it’s part of the reason why Marcus acted the way he did. He literally lived in the slums of Piltover but still had the audacity to look down on Zaun. Why? Because of the way he was raised. His predjudice ran so deep that he thought he was better than them just by virtue of living in Piltover, despite the fact that the conditions he lived in were equal to that of many Zaunites.
So, I believe that Caitlyn has plenty of kindness and love in her heart buried deep within her. But because of the system of Piltover brainwashing her to believe Zaunites are beneath her, as well as her privilege as a result of being a Kiramman, she won’t unlock her true potential until she confronts her biases. Until then, she will do what all privileged people do when they experience a fraction of what the oppressed have: lash out and cling to oppressive power structures. Rush to put all those people “back into their place”. If the circumstances were different, Caitlyn would be the kind, caring, well meaning but incredibly naive goofball she was meant to be.
At least, that’s the defense I’d use if I were a Cait stan. But I’m not. So fuck her and her “grief” lmaoo🤣🤣🤣

It's been a week and a half since Arcane S2 Act 1 came out and in that time I have not ONCE stopped thinking about how Caitlyn Kiramman and Suvi Kedberiket from Worlds Beyond Number are the same goddamn character
Blue hair
Mom/mother figure is a high ranking government/military official with a soft-spoken husband
Born into a position of privilege in a city that's pushing the bounds of magical technological progress
This city sits physically above a separate city that houses more "lower-class" citizens
Childhood friend crafts magical weaponry
Impulsive red-coded "friend" who comes from wildly different circumstances, though they did briefly cross paths as children
City they call home suffers an explosive disaster caused by the childish and reckless counterpart of the red-coded "friend"
Trying to reach out to those oppressed by their city and forge connections, but this goal clashes with the structure and ideology much of the system depends on, and their naivety relative to those outside their city leaves them unable to grasp the full picture
Take on high-ranking positions in or near the military through a combination of powerful parents and pure intelligence and work ethic
Justify the actions of those in power because of a deep connection to their home and the people there, setting aside the perpetrators of violence and oppression as "the bad ones" instead of fully considering the ways in which the system allows these actions to continue
Throw around their name and title to get what they want sometimes
Complicated relationship with privilege and station
Motivated in part by the death of a parent/parents
On and off relationship with red-coded "friend" because while their values align, their methods are vastly different and contradict often
Incredibly nuanced and well-written characters that fans like to nitpick and call mean fascists instead of embracing the complex web of events and influences that lead to their actions
Pretty girls I would like to give a smooch on the forehead to
I don't know what to tell you, man, I fuckin love these guys

It's fanny how some people call her evil era.
We never saw her kill an innocent person, even when my friend saw the show he is not a fan of Arcane but he saw a lot of comments about it and I also urged him to watch it after all the excitement around it when I asked him about his opinion on the show and especially the character of Caitlyn he told me, he expected after all the posts and comments about her that she would go to Zaun and kill people with her gun he didn't expect that she just wears a costume that looks like a vampire and looks tough and mean, she would get this much hate. He even asked me why people don't talk or blame Ambessa isn't she the main reason behind most of the problems in this season and also Singed or even Silco and his allies?
I couldn't answer him except that people have double standards and are hypocrites because their criticism of Caitlyn's character is not because she did one bad thing but because she is from Piltover and an enforcer. I'm sure if Caitlyn was from Zaun and did worse things they would sympathize with her and love her, so their criticism is so hypocritical and has double standards. In short, their criticism of a character is not because she did bad things, but because of who she is and where she is from.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They forget that silco kills a lot of people, mainly people from the undercity, even kids, LOL have put a mini game on the clien and there you could find out that Silco use kids as lab rat to test the chem tanks.
And I'm sure now someone will come and tell me that Caitlyn used the gas on all of Zaun and killed people with it. Seriously idiot where did you get this? Can you show me a picture from the show that people died because of gray, and if it's true then the characters must are talking about it, that Caitlyn uses gray to kill innocent people. So this claim is not true, we saw at the beginning of episode 3 how Caitlyn used the gas strategically and not randomly and Amanda confirmed that. So she used it to catch gangs there. Because logically, 5 people wouldn't go to catch hundreds of gang members that easily, and also if one of the people got hurt Ekko would have talked about it and we know that Ekko is the most loyal person to his people, so even Ekko himself didn't complain about using gray, yes he and Scar were talking about the gangs that were working with Silco, and they didn't care about gray, why? Because this gas didn't hurt them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even if it hurt them and that using it was an evil act, why didn't you say this when Jinx used it on Piltover and injured innocent people, women and children, she didn't target enforcers for example, Jinx use the Grey randomly unlike Caitlyn, but is anyone talking about this? Of course not. And worse when I saw comments saying that Jinx should blow up Piltover again and eliminate the people of Piltover. Like some people have shown their true colors, that they don't care if a character did something bad or good, all they care about is who this character is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And because Jinx is from Zaun and they have every right to do bad things, but Piltover doesn't even if they do good things they are still bad, what a shallow and ridiculous thinking. some Arcane fandom are probably the most stupid fandom nowadays, to them everyone from Zaun is a perfect angel who never do nothing wrong, everyone from Piltover is a monster with no feelings
The show is not black and white, that only exists in Disney movies, go and watch it if you are this kind of boring and traditional storytelling, Arcane proves every day that this show is not for everyone and if you want to enjoy it you have to open your mind well and be open-minded, and most importantly put politics and real life issues aside, and enjoy this fantasy world with flawed characters and good writing. (This show is not designed to solve political issues at the end of the day. It is a show based on a video game)
Morally, I do not agree with a Caitlyn's Evil Cop Era. The lesbian in me, however, really likes that dumbass coat.
Tumblr media
Like. Really likes it.
