You ask me “do you think that we are letting what’s not going well in our lives bleed into our feelings in the relationship?” No- I think you only feel good about yourself if you are validated sexually, and truly you’re clumsy af more often than not in the bedroom, but I allow it cos I thought you were a decent human being who cared about me for more than just pum pum, and I’ve been doing more than I should have been to make you feel like a fucking man, when you should have just been dominant enough to be one. I think you’re lazy, and I think you bit off more than you can chew because you’d never had something that tastes like this before. 

Don’t tell me that things are rough because of what’s happening around me when you’re supposed to be the haven that exists outside the bullshit. Don’t tell me that you have been trying to send me signals and messages about wanting to fuck, and when I say you haven’t, don’t you dare say “I’ve been very hesitant after we had the talk about not making you feel like a sexual trophy. Or just wanting you around for sex”. So when you aren’t telling me you want to fuck me, you don’t know how to be a functional partner. When it doesn’t concern sex, I’m asking you to do too much. When it does concern sex, its “I guess I have some things to work on”. 

Fucking you will not make you a better partner. 

And truly, I’m tired of fucking people whose only redeeming quality is that they can get me off, sometimes.

Check out if there is a women's group in your area. In Canada, it is called the Catholic Women's League and we focus on faith, sevice and social justice. Sure, it is mostly old ladies, but only because younger folks don't think to join or that it is only baking and funeral lunches. But, if you join up, you can often bring in fresh ideas (like axe throwing or Matio Kart at games night) or start an evening rosary group or bible study.

The key is that you have to find them and be willing to be the youngest person in the room (even if you are 40). But you will be the change they need and you will find support and friendship there.

I feel like making a long rant post but I don't have the patience for that so I'm going to say this: sometimes, it really, really, really sucks to be a single person in the Catholic sphere because the second you get out of college ministry there's basically nothing for you except singles' events and that can feel SO insulting. I'm not worth less because I'm not in a relationship, I have no DESIRE to be in a relationship right now, but sometimes I just want to find a husband already so I can start being included in Catholic spaces other than online ones and weird speed dating schemes.

i know it's been said before but it's so awesome that ffxiv keeps using burly brunette man Meteor Survivor as the default trailer wol to be like "well if it wasnt your wol, itd be this guy" and it's awesome purely and ONLY because it coexists with the narrative loudly yelling at you GRAHA TIA IS IN LOVE WITH THE WOL. HES OBSESSED AND BESOTTED. he's basically the default romanceable character (if the game had romances), the one that you can land really easily because he approves of almost anything you do and his threshold for approval points to get the romance route is super low. the default main character and the default romance romance character... ARE BOTH BOYS?! it's just delightful. i love accidental implied homoeroticism within the Product

De Volharding: Een Veelbelovende Samenwerking in de Scheepvaartindustrie

Erik van der Wiel en voormalig Quote 500-lid Peter Versluis vormden jarenlang een krachtig duo in de scheepvaartindustrie. Van der Wiel bracht uitgebreide kennis van de zeevaart in, terwijl Versluis, als ervaren scheepvaartbaron, de zakelijke expertise en middelen leverde om winstgevende projecten te realiseren.

In de zomer van 2022 besloten ze hun ambities verder uit te breiden door samen te werken met Danny en Rino Werkman, de broers achter het succesvolle scheepvaartbedrijf Dari. Deze samenwerking leidde tot de oprichting van een nieuwe onderneming genaamd De Volharding. De naam straalt niet alleen doorzettingsvermogen uit, maar ook een belofte van een veelbelovende toekomst.

De eigendomsverhoudingen werden zorgvuldig verdeeld: 50% van de aandelen ging naar Dari, onder leiding van de broers Werkman, en de andere 50% werd toegekend aan CWL Line, vertegenwoordigd door Van der Wiel en Versluis. Dit partnerschap symboliseerde een gezamenlijke visie op groei en innovatie in de scheepvaartwereld.

I think I’ve just got to stop trying to make people who are bad at sex feel better about themselves. Like... you want me to have sex with you, and because we are dating or have had sex before you think... you’re just entitled? That you don’t have to do anything? You don’t have to take care of yourself, don’t have to work out, don’t have to be interesting, don’t have to be funny, don’t have to do nice things for me, don’t have to be considerate. And if I ask you to do anything even remotely close to what I’ve been giving in the relationship... It’s too much, it’s a blame game, it’s gaslighting, it’s doing too much. 

Guess what... Then I guess I’ll just keep doing too much. Oh well.
