Since I'm on a putting thoughts out there note already, I have to say that the thing that gets me the most about episode 114 is that if feels a little bit like Sam's true and final conversion to D&D.

There's a tense (they're all tense by that point but extra lmao) moment maybe an hour before THE moment where Sam says, "Liam, thanks for introducing me to Dungeons and Dragons. [Do you like it?] I'm beginning to like it." and it's full sarcasm, but it hits a little different.

And then you have that 4th counterspell and Sam's reaction a minute later which is DEVASTATING and just. I don't know. It's easy to downplay Sam's investment because he's often such a comic relief character, even in the serious moments, both with Scanlan and Tary, but that moment just... It hits HARD. And you watch it unfold one moment at a time. Fucking kills me.

And then when it comes back at the end of the episode too and idk. Maybe its just watching it as a person still working through the messy middle bits of my own first campaign, but it really comes home. The level of buy-in is unreal.

So much love. That made the whole episode for me. That brought the whole thing home. What an incredible moment. Arc. Reaction. Deal. All of it. AGH.

Sam just... 10/10. Absolutely blown away.

Dear Kanmon I'm writing to you because you know how to count and because I miss good jikook analyzes. after AYS they seem unnecessary, but they are satisfying. like putting together a puzzle. When I watched Jimin's choreography for Stuck with you for the hundredth time, I wondered if the part of the song he was dancing to was chosen on purpose. And I discovered that the dance starts exactly at 1:18 minutes into the song.

Just looking at the numbers, no math required.

If you take the 1,1 and 8 out of it you are left with the also very known Jikook combination of 123.

So, in the date alone we have 11-8 and 123.

The whole thing with the 123 theory is that we think we know where it originated (might have meant something to them way before but that's the first time it's mentioned) - Festa 2014 JM's profile Just one day MV at 1:23 min. represents him best. JK was by his side while filling out that profile. Since then we have had song recommendations ending at 1:23 min., posts timed at 12:30 or 1:23 am, posts on January 23rd etc. We know there is very possibly something going on with that sequence of numbers, but what it is exactly or more so, what it means to them exactly, we don't know.

You’re walking back to the tavern when it first happens —that feeling of cold flesh brushing against your own.

For a moment, it knocks the air right out of your lungs, forcing you to twitch and glance down, noticing the edge of Astarion’s finger slowly inching toward your own. Moving through the empty space between in an attempt to tether you together. Almost immediately, it makes you dizzy. Disorientated amongst the group you find yourself walking alongside, causing your shoulder to bump into his, startling you both. 

“You alright?” 

As he asks, he looks at you a bit broken. As if, despite his eyes narrowing to appear annoyed at your fumbling movements, there’s something hidden underneath. An oddly specific look of offence that has you swallowing hard and nodding your head, trying to find some way of recovering what you’ve just as lost as he inevitably retracts his hand.

In an attempt to do this, you make a little extra effort to stick to his side as you walk along the darkened streets. Keeping up with his abnormally hurried pace, you try your best not to disturb him. Knowing that he can be a bit sensitive when it comes to touch, you merely linger at his side, waiting for him to try again. Praying that maybe just once he can push through the obvious fog of uncertainty as the party around you talks amongst themselves, reminiscing about the events of the day.

Directly in front of you, you can hear Karlach and Wyll yammering on about combat tactics. Excitedly talking over one another, their voices quickly muddle into one distractive sound, making you scrunch up your face, ultimately losing focus long enough to accidentally bump Astarion’s hand. 

As it happens, he shoots you another look. One you can’t quite place as you offer up a sheepish smile, going to move your hand again until he angrily sighs and rolls his eyes, grabbing the damn thing without so much as a second thought. 

It makes you bite your bottom lip and look away. Suppressing a cheeky smile, you hear him huff beside you. A low, falsely annoyed sound that you can’t help but chuckle at as you tighten your fingers around his while awkwardly leaning over his shoulder to kiss his temple in revenge.

List of shifting-related stuff that happened to me bc I'm trying to be motivating

These are like symptom-thingy things that happened during or after attempts (did not include most symptoms I got during attempts) Also ignore that this is stuff over the course of 4 years with different scripts and different DR's

When I felt somebody tap my shoulder and just kind of knew it was Cedric

When I turned around and saw Harry for a split second

When I smelt the green house and just knew it was the greenhouse that happened several times but there was a 2 year gap between the first and second time

When I imagined someone stroking my arm to comfort me and then actually felt it

When I opened my eyes and saw my DR-room for a split second

The times I felt like I was floating above me/out of my body

I swear to god I was cooking once and George Weasley was just casually standing in my kitchen and I could see him in the corner of my eye

I smelt a lot of my DR people, sometimes one person several times (I only smelt most people once) I don't know why this sounds so creepy

One time I gained slight lucidity in a dream and just decided I wanted to wake up (because I was about to get eaten by a tiger in my garden)

The damn feathers

Successfully channeling Layla Williams (I asked her for a specific sign within a specific time frame and she sent it, she's my best friend in my Sky High DR)

One time I am damn sure I shifted to an altered version of my CR because I didn't have bags under my eyes anymore and my plant that's supposed to grow slowly doubled in size overnight (a couple times after that it seemed to have shrunk again but idk where I even am now)

I heard a song on the radio I am sure I never heard before but then I knew the chorus as if I remembered it? Figured I know that song in my DR 🤷

I can't put my finger on what it is (which is weird but I guess I have amnesia now or something) but there's something my mom always used to say/ask me and hasn't done in a long while for no specific reason?

I LITERALLY MANIFESTED TODAY THAT A BOOK I HAD LEFT IN MY LOCKER (I'm only going back to school once this school year to turn in my books) IS JUST HERE AT HOME AND IT IS

One time before I even knew of shifting I almost did it? Like I just focused really hard on where I wanted to be and lay still and I could feel myself sort of sinking into that place as I fell asleep but I freaked out last minute and ended up only dreaming of that place

A day or two ago I channeled the universe with music and then during and after I consecutively saw 01:01, 02:02, 03:03, 04:04 and 05:05

Anyway I'm out of here by Sunday 🤷

Camp Rock was almost matched with HSM but for personal sour memories we did not. besides there is so much more HSM relevance than CR relevance.

Now we do expect to see some of y'all mention are animal buddies like Oliver or Lady here, they would've been 12 but we needed the "other" option. (Lady is New England and Oliver is in NYC -plus Dumbo is an American circus)
