Decided to finish up this weird square archway thing (squarchway?) between the living room and dining room as a surprise for my mom for the holidays. It's literally been half painted light green like the living room and white like the original living room for YEARS cause we couldn't figure out what to do with it. Mom put a lot of effort into designing the dining room around this painting- her second non necessity purchase as a homeowner (first was a nice bedframe), so I wanted to finish it nice for her.

I strongarmed my dad into doing the sloppiest goddamned trim job this morning (that man is so skilled and has amazing attention to detail, except for with trim, it's his one true blindspot) and finished painting a couple details with some much needed cheerleading from a friend around noon. Mom should hopefully get home tonight! I'll set a timer to see how long it takes her to notice 😂

But yeah! Kalamansi mural!

Turmeric Tea with Calamansi and Peppermint 🍃💛 ALL NATURAL for a sick me 😪🤧 Ang sarap! Perfect ng timpla. The honey blended with turmeric very well. Hot tea on a cozy afternoon will always be the best. Hindi rin siya expensive so I am sooooo happy!

Turmeric Tea lang talaga yun but after Ate heard my husky voice and my cough she offered me calamansi and added peppermint on it 😭🥰 My heart! 😍❤️

napaka-galing ko rin naman. inuubo pero nag-mangga! 😂😭 Mango Cake is sooo good! Para siyang naging ice-cream cake 🍦🍰 kasi na frozen but it was soooo good like 5x goodness nung na frozen siya 😍😍

They have other drinks on their menu like Calamansi Tea that is served in Hot or Cold (the same with Turmeric) Unli Kapeng Barako and all of it starts with 100 pesos! 🥰😍❤️☕️

Got that cozy coffee shop vibes where you can just chill, relax and sip your coffee or hot tea. 🧡 Love it here! Spacious but comfy.

#🍊🍋 growing up in a remote area near the Banda Sea, we have limited options for the type of citrus we consume. until my third grade year of high school, I only had two types that I could commonly afford: lemon cina or calamansi and lime. one is consumed as a fruit, and the other is mainly consumed as dish spices. yesterday, I bought three wonkam mandarine oranges that worth 20k. crazy. my 5-year-old self should thank me.
