Whirl would find that shit funny as fuck. He's recording the sound and blasting it full volume when someone's being annoying or Magnus is reciting another damn protocol from that primus be darned bible.

The medics would be concerned. Misfire and the scavengers with the exception of Krok/ Nickel would freak out.

Krok is now scampering down the hall for the human who's strapped on the medical berth confused, and hiccuping through tears. Nickel walks in with a wrench in hand. Whoever is involved, no helms are spared.

Interesting would be First Aid, Night beat Nautica and velocity. Though, I think Lottie would be more concerned but with how the human is faring fine I think she'd be more curious at why they are.

While annoying would be Ratchet and prowl. Ratchet knows how the human body works and is just frankly annoyed at the fact that the bots are crowding around you like you're some jewel on display, echoing along your little noises. He's also annoyed because you're not taking care of your body properly.

Prowl is just. Can you please take your ministrations elsewhere? This noise is bothersome. That's until you told him it's from your body he's 😐.

So, for me pharmister is a ship that exists exclusively for my Pharma's redemption tour AU (which is my own take on a "Pharma lives after the Lost Light finale and now has to deal with the consequences of Everything")

AND MAN DO I HAVE CONTENT FOR THIS AU!!! I have... 72 pages of planning for it, and only 2 chapters fully written (out of 25 so far!) unfortunately most of it is all a WIP haha...

In my AU, Pharma wakes up from being braindead a few years after the finale and then gets a proper trial for his crimes, but instead of being sent to death row he's given the opportunity to Reintegrate Into Society after doing what's basically community service. He loses his medical license for obvious reasons, so he gets sent to do his service with The Peace Corps (which... are the Scavengers after being given a purpose in this New Cybertron).

this is actually one of my favorite details for my au lol SO the only reason Pharma gets this second chance at life is because Minimus, in honor of Megatron, has formed a Restorative Justice Program for war criminals on both sides of the war. And part of that program is doing this type of Community Service instead of getting the death penalty or infinite prison time. His program is controversial among the populace and very new and experimental, but he's trying his best to make it work. He selected the Peace Corps for Pharma because the Scavengers are actually a glowing example that his program works so far and he thought putting him under their care would help Pharma have an easier time adapting to his new life (wildly unaware that it'd be psychological torture to surround Pharma with decepticons he loathes).

yes I have SO many headcanons. The most important of them all is that Spinister saw Pharma for the first time and went "Wow, he's hot!" and only continued to be down bad for him from there (at first having an extremely shallow crush on the former medic, until [Plot Point] happens and he forms Genuine Tender Feelings for him).

Pharma as he exists in my AU is going through a full blown depression, and is having a really hard time accepting that he'll never be a medic ever again, and also he's paranoid as HELL thinking everyone and anything is out to get him. Ah, the wonders of trauma!

And it takes a bit of development for him to start trusting any of the scavengers at all, but the one that is easier to trust is Spinister. Mostly because he's completely honest about everything he has an opinion on. He's extremely blunt! The type of guy that blurts the first thought that forms in his processor without thinking about it first! He's too dumb to make a convincing lie or keep up a charade!

And also, Spinister's very obvious crush on Pharma is oddly reassuring and annoying for him at the same time. He has complicated feelings about being loved as he is! He hates it! But Spinister is just happy to be around Pharma because he likes him without judgements. Spinister has decepticon standards when it comes to love! Whatever fucked up things Pharma has done are Tame for him, hell, he also harvested organs at some point (It's like they're meant to be ♡ <- this comment would get him slapped).

I feel like fully revealing my hand as to if and how they get together would be spoiling that part of my AU. but what the hell!!! I don't get many opportunities to talk about it.

Anyway YES they get together but at first Pharma uses him to try and fill the void inside him (Spinister is more than happy to go along with it), and only later on does Pharma start to appreciate and become deeply fond of Spinister (because if anything, he CAN trust him to be on his side and he even starts to admire that Spinister is just... very at peace with himself despite his perceived flaws. That's enviable somehow).

so the scavengers and i guess some lost lighters were fighting some decepticons that worked for liked the grand architect or whatever because they were fighting everyone and we were all in some air hanger but also looked like a gymnasium and eventually the fight moved on to another room so i, who i think was fulcrum or krok, i honestly cannot tell who i was, was trying to figure out a way to stop these guys and i looked up and saw some chalk board that gave me some idea because the next thing i knew, the dream cut to the two decepticons (and spinister who had some thing about being absent taped to his chest) all sitting in some chairs and i was trying to get them to figure out what the lesson was, essentially trying to pretend that the fight was all apart of the lesson, like a loony tunes bit, but none of them were getting it, and i also found a weird looking stick that i was using for a gavel and then spin started complaining about being absent from classes, a thing that wasn't real until 5 seconds ago, and for some reason i was trying to make him guess "the ocean" to excuse the absences and things were getting increasingly chaotic because the two decepticons were starting to realize this was fake and spin was getting louder in complaints and then i turned around towards my mentor from work for help and my mentor, who was sitting behind me with his wallet out, was like "that's the last time we do that to excuse absences, time for bribes" and i laughed so hard i woke up

So you mentioned a bit of Krok’s and Crank’s Pokémon team, what about Spin’s, Misfire’s, & Fulcrum’s?

So… I have them written down- Misfire is Bug type, Krok is Ground, Spinister is Dragon, Fulcrum is Psychic, and Crankcase is Normal!

Misfire gets a Vikavolt because… come on. That’s just his alt mode- and a cutiefly cause I know he would have seen a shiny and reached for the masterball. (Fulcrum stopped him and had him actually properly catch it in a Heal Ball)

Krok got Ground cause… well, I wanted him to have fitting Pokémon. Sandile is obviously cause of the namesake, but Gible i think actually resembles his idw kibble a lot better. Krok has shark fins for whatever reason?

Spinister I chose Dragon cause i wanted him to have a single powerful Pokémon. I also wanted him to have something that could fly, but wasn’t just a flying type. His Noivern is beyond cuddly and refuses to sleep in its pokeball. It has to lay across him like the worlds most dangerous blanket.

Fulcrum I wanted to give some weird Pokémon. I wanted him to have psychic to go with the tech/science vibes without just being steel. (It feels like cheating to slap anyone with steel) Duoisn is the Pokémon he got stuck with and begrudgingly loves. He thought it was going to be weird and sticky at first… but was pleasantly surprised to find it felt more like a water balloon! It’s now his teddy bear- the Elgyem is just a nod to space, and cause I just… think it’s shaped kinda like him? Idk if that makes sense to anyone but me.

Finally, Crankcase gets normal type because I was going to give him a Herdier no matter what. Cranks just seems like the kind of guy who loves his dog more than himself. Also, a shiny Zangoose cause blue- it was also gifted to him by Decepticon command for his bravery on surviving his fatal injury… could have let him retire, but a life long best friend will do. The Zizagoon he found in the trash. Literally was walking back to the WAP and heard it rummaging around. He thought it was some weird new variant with all the trash and muck on it.

I know she intended to be just when she set me over his case, but the problem is that it's a constant reminder of his accursed existence.

Good luck finding someone else who has never filed an Intent to Murder. The 'incorruptible' Howlback (who I'm very sure has allowed Buzzsaw and Vortex to remove inconveniences from the Station to neutral territory, and then to just remove them) has a stack of them.

I want Ravage to admit that she was thinking more about appearances than my feelings when she put me in this position. I'm not going to destroy her grand experiment with Soundwave.

But she chose Megatron over me more than once, even though she tried to help me (and made some terrible sacrifices for that). So I'd also like her to admit the truth to me, which was that really, she did not have a choice, and she has the right to murder him, too, because he took so many of her choices away. She just won't, because she still cares for him. I want to hear her say that one of the reasons she never turned her back on him after he hurt the people she loved was that she was afraid he would kill them.

Which is sick, but then aren't we all very sick? Yes, he defended her to Terminus when she was being exploited, but didn't he then turn around and exploit her himself?

We're all sick. After what we have had to do, either to save ourselves or the ones we love or the shreds of our consciences, how could we not be?

Vortex and Buzzsaw are just more honest about it, because their sickness (or at least the messes their sickness makes) doesn't let itself be hidden very well.

Ty again for the answers aha!! I somehow completely forgot about the "Meet The Cons" profiles at the end of issue 8, despite me always looking at those just whenever because they're silly and I liked Spinister's one a lot for some reason. Also yeah, it really is just a small bit of his character, likely done for the reasons you explained (not that im complaining, i totally get it) so it's kind of easy to forget especially if you aren't as big on these guys.

As for around the last bit, I've skimmed through all the main 5 Scavengers' tf wiki pages multiple times over (very normal thing to do yep), and really the most consistent bit of his character outside IDW is that he used to be Bludgeon's right-hand-bot/adviser of sorts, so that checks out, he's always been a brains guy i guess

Random ass fact actually, just so I could ramble more about him on this post: in one of the Dreamwave comics, Krok is seen next to Horri-Bull as part of Starscream's PREDACON army. Not counting the Titans Return Krok toy where hes a gator, this is the only instance (that I know of) where he's implied to be a beastformer of sorts so thats cool

Hi there again hello aha, I didn't think to be coming back so soon into your asks lol but something has been REALLY bothering me lately and its the fact that I genuinely do not remember where the idea that Krok used to be a historian was derived from, it's been bothering me for THREE DAYS now (yes I think about the Scavs too much; also in my sleep, thats how bad the brainrot is for these idiots)

My earliest memory of said info was reading it on his tf wiki page but I've looked through it and used ctrl+F even and its NOT there! Second earliest memory was your post about Starscream and him being headcanon'd as roommates absolutely despising each other during like idk cybertronian college (which was very funny btw, I saw that on twitter and found it really silly lol), so I chalked it up to "maybe it was a headcanon on tumblr that I thought was canon" but nope, because several other fanfiction I've read about the Scavengers have used the "Krok used to be a historian" thing as part of his backstory, almost as frequently (or rarely really) as people use him being a soccer player in TransTech

So uhh... do you happen to recall where that's ever said that lmfao?? Maybe I forgot a specific panel in IDW somewhere but ehhh nothing's coming to me rn... This isn't really urgent and i dont even know how I managed to stretch a simple question into a long ass ask but I guess that's just how my brain works

As for where the whole historian thing came from, it was actually mentioned at the very end of issue 8 of the mtmte series where both the scavengers and the djd get very brief character cards. This one being krok's:

But outside of this it's never really mentioned again outside of issue 7-8.

In issue 7 his knowledge on the wars history is only really used to let both the audience and fulcrum know that the way the scavs are able to get by is because of him knowing where some of the mass graves are. And so that they can catch fulcrum up with everything that happened while he was unconscious.

After this it's not really mentioned again. The only time I could think off the top of my head that his knowledge in history is hinted at again is the issue where agonizer picks them up after the planet they're on gets swarmed by Deathsaurus' crew and the black block consortia (but I can't remember the issue number right now lol) and again with agonizer.

After that there's just a one off line where he quotes something tyrest probably said early on in the war.

Outside of these very brief instances there really isn't much else to this part of him. Which makes me wonder if jro wanted to do more with that but ultimately had to cut it out for some reason or he just decided it wasn't that big of an aspect to build upon unless necessary to give the audience and the those around him extra info.

I'm unsure if in other continuities he was also a historian but I'm almost certain he's just a strategist/right hand man across all variations. The historian part was probably tacked on last minute for exposition of sorts.

So. I understand where your confusion came from. Because for the longest time when I first got into them I also had no clue where the historian part came from lol.

I don't know if this is the best line of dialogue, but here is one I am very fond of. When Soundwave says that "Apologies taste better in person," in A Few Small Repairs...

I think a lot of people just say, oh well, that's synaesthesia, that's just Soundwave.

But it's very important, because he and Ravage have reciprocal synaesthesias.

Soundwave does not experience the physical synaesthesias that Ravage does--the bleedover between smell, taste, touch and proprioception. He's got the bleedover between telepathy, electromagnetics, hearing and sight. So when he says this to her, he is thinking about her experience of the apology he wants to make to her for the mistakes he's made over the years of her cassettification (and specifically for the very mean thing he did by asking her to kill Megatron of all people).

He's thinking of how she's going to feel about it, not how he's going to feel about it. He's more or less made his peace with the terrible things he did, both because a lot of them were the result of ignorance and the mean one was the result of feeling betrayed, and he knows he will never do anything like that again, but he needs to make her feel whole.

Narrative:

The dance sequence in chapter 8 of Designs and Persuasions is one of my favourite things I've ever written because: Ravage thinks the way she experiences living and moving in her body is normal, even though she intellectually knows that it is not.

It's the only way she's ever been embodied all her entire life. Writing about Ravage dancing from the POV of Soundwave dancing with her, and how he experiences the sensation of being Ravage dancing in Ravage's body, and what it was like to learn dance from her, particularly since he doesn't have that operating system and his body was not made to do that, and how that helped with his focus... it was just. It was a trip to imagine and a trip to write and I showed it to another friend of mine who is a dancer before I posted it and got his thoughts on it, and it was kind of like an expansion of the synaesthetic sex scenes I wrote for them in the first chapter of Designs and the last chapter of Repairs, only I could go into it very deeply because their minds were not fuzzy with lust. And then Soundwave's meltdown when the analysis of Marissa's data going on in the background came to completion and the shape of that data construct was so painful...!

I love, love, love writing as Soundwave but I absolutely couldn't do it for an entire fic. He is vast. He contains multitudes, and sometimes i think half the reason he never outright rebelled against some of the shite Megs pulled in the bad days is that it just overwhelmed him.

Love & Darkness will have some very trippy Soundwave bits in it, because when we first see him in that fic, he's blasting music down by the pier and Ravage is dancing and he's doing it just because he wants her to keep dancing and Drift thinks he's the absolute worst creeper ever lmfao and Soundwave is still in that state where he can't articulate first person.

That is something that all the old Soundwaves had in common. Not CV Wave, but most of the Waves, they have the hardest time saying "I" and when they can do it they're comfortable.

I'm also having fun, in Designs and Persuasions, with the mindlink experiments they're doing.

Rafael and Cosmos would like to never have Spinister involved in that again though kthx.

The Fan Continuity that I’m trying to work on is still on my mind, and while I’m still planning out a lot of stuff for it at the moment, I’m going to go ahead and talk about some of the characters in it.

Technically, everyone is around in this- or, nearly everyone at least, but I can’t focus on all of the Cybertronians. So, most of the character stuff that I’ll be doing for this is more for the ‘main’ Cybertronians in the Continuity.

Each all have their own little things going on, aswell.

Optimus Prime: They/Them/Themself, He/Him/Himself, (FtM):

Optimus Prime, originally Orion Pax only a short while ago before being made a Prime thanks to the Matrix of Leadership, resides on Earth as the leader of the Autobots.

Still processing the recent death of their Conjunx Endura, Elita-1, the new Prime grows protective of his Autobots, while promising that he’ll stop Megatron, and make sure that nobody else suffers.

Rampage: It/It’s/Itself:

Rampage (or known by X to some), used to be held in an old facility in another Universe, before it took a chance, and escaped—both the facility and the Universe, after running through some sort of portal.

Shortly after appearing in a new Universe, it runs into Transmutate—who doesn’t seem all that like the one from its original universe—but also seems to have gone through a similar situation.

Teaming up, the two stick together, all while having to worry about certain people from both of their original Universes who want them both—one more than the other.

Transmutate: She/Her/Herself, It/It’s/Itself, They/Them/Themself:

Transmutate was originally held in an old facility—where they had been created. But, when something happens, she takes the chance to escape the facility—and the current Universe (which, it only figured out after—it didn’t think the portal could do that).

After appearing in this strange, new Universe, it runs into Rampage, who seems somewhat different from what little she knew of the other one. But, just like them, it seems to have gone through a similar situation.

Teaming up and sticking with Rampage, Transmutate worries over... a lot. Not being able to control certain abilities. The people who created them—who consider it ‘unfinished’ coming, and worrying over its new friend.

Wheeljack: He/Him/Himself, She/Her/Herself, They/Them/Themself:

Wheeljack, one of the most well-known Autobot Scientists... although their inventions do tend to malfunction—and one of the only few that happens to be on Earth with the rest.

Although they stick around and assist the others when he can, and spend time working on inventions, the scientist has some... problems, that they have been trying to fix.

Shortly after arriving on Earth, Ratchet and the Dinobots went missing, with her making it their mission to try and find them all again—all while dealing with an unfortunate change to herself that happened during an encounter with a Decepticon that he’s trying to hide.

Censere/The Necrobot: They/Them/Themself:

Censere... or as nearly every Cybertronian knows them, The Necrobot—someone who seems to catalogue the deceased—but also thought to not exist, as they are never exactly seen... but they have a good reason to not want to be.

Residing on Earth, a young human manages to spot them when they were listing someone off. At first, they thought that would be it—but, the two continue to see each-other, and eventually, they start talking.

It seems like, now, they’ve got a little human buddy.

Krok: He/Him/Himself (FtM):

Krok, a Monoformer that’s haunted by events from his past (which, leads him into seeing... spirits?), and the leader of the small group of Decepticons called The Scavengers. Years before everyone else, the mech first met Spinister, after he was repaired by the surgeon.

His time with all of them has been... chaotic, for sure, but it quickly becomes worse when, after a visit to someplace, the Scavengers discover that they’re being tracked, and none of them know the reason. Among the pursuers, is someone from Krok’s past.

Spinister: They/Them/Themself, It/It’s/Itself:

Spinister, a rather strange (in everyone else’s optics) surgeon, who, years ago, ran into Krok when the Monoformer was severely damaged. From what or who? It didn’t know—but it had been rather focused on fixing him, and never left after those events.

Out of all the Scavengers, Krok seems to understand them the best... but, that doesn’t mean that it’s still a mystery—there are certain things that Spinister is keeping a secret, that it doesn’t plan on telling any of the others.

However, one thing that isn’t a secret, is how it can see the spirits that hang around Krok—surprising both, and even the spirits—yet the rest can’t see what these two see and hear.

Misfire: Any Pronouns:

Misfire, a flier who... doesn’t really remember much of anything, and they aren’t all that sure on the reason why. They do, however, know that they happen to be a rather terrible shot... as everyone discovers that rather quickly.

She’s the newest member of the Scavengers, the others having met him and vise versa when the flier got into some trouble at a small bar, before quickly joining them all.

Misfire isn’t too worried about what they can’t remember, among other things—he’s sure that it doesn’t mean anything, that nothing bad happened, or that nothing bad is going to happen because of any of that.

Crankcase: No Pronouns:

Crankcase, a Pilot, who before joining up with the Scavengers (being the third to join), used to work for... someone—the Decepticon won’t explain or reveal who it was to any of the others, claiming that it doesn’t matter.

In fact, the only things that the Pilot has revealed, is just that the ‘someone’ was another Decepticon—Crankcase didn’t like working for whoever it was, and that before leaving, that ‘someone’ was the reason for the rather nasty head wound.

Despite the head wound, Crankcase seems to be fine... at least to the others at a first glance, but the Decepticon is far worse. The Pilot has far worse damage—some involving around the head wound, and other, internal damage that the pilot is just starting to realize.

Fulcrum: He/Him/Himself, They/Them/Themself:

Fulcrum, a Decepticon who... isn’t all that sure on what he was doing in an old, seemingly abandoned, lab—which was where they also happened to meet the Scavengers—being the fourth to join.

Unlike Misfire in the future, Fulcrum knows everything, nothing happened to their memories, they just... aren’t sure what they’re doing in this lab—and they can’t remember their time in it. He feels weird, he can no longer transform, among other... much more unfortunate and concerning details.

While dealing with the chaos of being with the Scavengers, he slowly starts to discover the truth as to why he was in that lab....

NEW AU JUST DROPPED

What if “The Scavengers” was a 90s Lifetime Series Sitcom? 

I keep making these because I can’t stop. 

I know this is self-indulgent, but for the record, I am old enough to remember the 90s so of course this was inevitable lol 

The illustrations are all from 90s fashion patterns, which I selected purely based on my memories of how common styles like this were at the time. (So, no outfits that are designer looks. These are all styles I can remember seeing people wear in real life.) 

If you aren’t familiar with the notoriously cheesy Lifetime network shows from the 90s, they are famous for being overbearingly trope-loaded, generally low or mid-budget in terms of production value, and feature questionable acting with obvious or preachy themes. Some of them are very light-hearted or obviously just fantasy fodder, and those are fun to watch in the way that staggeringly bad movies are fun to watch; Other Lifetime shows are surprisingly dark and handle mature themes with none of the tact or skill to do so appropriately, making them potentially genuinely upsetting. Which is... Not great. 

Obviously, we’re keeping it light-hearted here, and this is gonna be 100% Lifetime 90s brand cheese. Comfortably predictable, happy ending, feel-good cheese. 

AU Premise / TV Guide Series Summary: 

The Scavengers (1996) is a feel-good sitcom featuring a small group of people who come together with the goal of creating a New Age commune, aiming to provide their local community (as well as each other) with the support that they never received themselves when they needed it most. 

After a mildly rocky start, the newest commune member Francine comes to realise that regardless of their problems and difficult personal histories, when things get tough, The Scavengers are here to pick up the pieces-- Together. 

Characters:

Krok - The Team Mom and owner of the commune facilities. Her name is Kayla, and the perfectly colour coded tulips outside are indeed hers. Often moderates whenever arguments pop up, but can end up causing some friction herself due to her high (but generally fair) standards. Cultivates a large public access garden despite not having the legal permits required to do so. 

Crankcase - Everyone had an Aunt that dressed like this in the 90s. Always fairly laid back and funny, until suddenly the hurricane within is released; Her name is Christine, and she wears capris so that her range of movement isn’t limited when she starts running around due to chronic and unnecessary stress. She is extremely loud; Her social anxiety results in a tendency to try to scare people away in pre-emptive self-defence, but she considers her friends to be her family. Even when she’s yelling at them. Accidentally or on purpose. She helps Kayla manage the business side of things, although she refuses to ever speak over the phone with anyone, for any reason. 

Misfire - Really wanted to graduate art school, but did not graduate art school. It isn’t her fault her ADHD wasn’t accommodated by the university, but that doesn’t prevent Maureen from dealing with feelings of inadequacy and failure; In an effort to prove to herself that she has skills, she runs a life drawing course at the commune and is fairly proud of all the murals she’s done for the compound’s walls-- Even though there are still a few perpetually unfinished sections on most of them. 

Overall a positive person despite her awareness of the hits her self-esteem has taken, she refuses to accept other people’s judgements of her or her skills. She struggles to form social boundaries, but is still a surprisingly good judge of character.

Fulcrum - The newest member of the commune, Fiora answered a newspaper advertisement for a small local design job in an attempt to get her life back on track after her former boss wrongfully blamed her for an interior design contract that went poorly. She was fired, and without a reference for her job applications, she took the job at the commune more out of desperation than shared New Age beliefs-- At least, at first. 

Despite some early tensions with Maureen (who saw Fiora’s efforts to help with the appearance of the commune as a mild insult to her own creative contributions), Fiora starts to see why the commune works and how much good they are able to do for their otherwise neglected local area-- And for each other.

Flywheels - Runs a local prayer group, although after being disillusioned with the inability of the local church to provide adequate support resources to the wider community, Frankie starts to run an all-faiths-welcome meditation group and self-help programme at the commune. 

Spinister - Struggling to find work elsewhere because of her learning disability, Sandra is far more intelligent than anyone gives her credit for-- And is often frustrated by a lack of professional opportunities. Initially afraid to disclose her disability out of fear of rejection, she soon found that the commune is a judgement-free zone, and has since set up a tutoring program for adult students in the commune’s community space.

in general i imagine accents and other vocal quirks to be something of an “aesthetics“ choice kinda like paintjobs. so the more obnoxious and uh hard to understand a bots voice is the more sideeyes theyre gonna get kind of like shattered glass thundercracker the most boring/”normal” accent is an american one, which is the equivalent of a totally generic blank transformers with like a one-tone color scheme and no kibble. technically theres no discrimination based on that, but in some enviroments certain accents/quirks are frowned upon cuz theyre viewed as unprofessional, like politics. or autobot high command, courtesy of prowl (prowl) who canonically isnt that keen on individualism so, starting with my faves:

brainstorm sounds exactly like michael reeves aka the taser guy (just watch any of his videos on yt and you'll see what i mean) the mask makes everything he says sound a bit dampened so he usually speaks either a little too loud or a little too quiet, when he forgets to account for it

im fine with getaway having a new zealander accent cause after listening to it for 2 hours i conclude its a perfect fit for a cartoon villain, also his voice is high pitched and not very menacing cuz its funnier that way. i also see no reason for his vocalizer to be in the same place as his faceplate, considering he has no mouth, so whenever he speaks its like his voice is in full stereo and its pretty disorienting, esp when you dont see him

nightbeat has a thick russian accent mostly cause when i first saw him his head looked like hes wearing an ushanka and russian detectives are cool sue me.whenever hes solving a mysetry or just investigating something in general he talks to himself, but he doesnt change the tone or volume At All, so most bots assume hes either comming someone or talking to mirage, either way they leave him alone which suits him just fine

nauts! oh boy so i headcanon all camiens with Eastern european accents from various countries and nautica would have a weird mix of british and czech, shes read so many books, met so many species that she adopted some of their speech mannerisms for herself (i get the vibe shed talk like belanna torres from star trek, as in the inflections and the general pitch)

and chromia!! its just jeri ryan as seven of nine with a heavy Heavy Ukrainian accent that she plays up on purpose while talking to cybertronians (its an intimidation tactic and it works) but normally her accent is pretty soft

misfire is australian and talks with a solid 300 words per minute. somehow the other scavengers understand him perfectly. he loses track of his sentences often and just trails off while shrugging and completely changing the topic. somehow the other scavengers always know what that is supposed to mean (am i projecting? maybe) basically voice-wise he sounds like an australian  Joe Whiteford from harley poe

while were on the topic of scavengers - spinister sounds like kronk but has the speech mannerisms (and basically everything else) of caboose from rvb, theyre so similar it drives me nuts tbh

skids will always have a Scottish accent to me mostly cuz i watched that team trainwreck mtmte #2 comic dub one too many times and cant unhear it also Scottish accents are mad attractive and skids is canonically one of the hottest bots on the ll so. i imagine hes used to changing his voice a Lot since he was a spy so hes very proficient in literally any accent you can imagine

chromedome has a sliiiight polish accent that he got rid of while working with/dating prowl (prowl). also: imagine a sensitive barista with a man bun. thats what cd sounds like. often while talking hell repeat words in a more american accent which kinda frustrates rewind (who has the most painful stereotypically american accent)

speaking of rewind: hes used to people interrupting him so he always talks incredibly quickly. also due to having an active video database in his head with millions of different voices, both organic and cybertronian, keeping a “stable“ accent is very difficult so he usually just goes with the default one.

im so sorry about this but cyclonus is french. basically nobody speaks primal vernacular on modern day cybertron and french is incomprehensible on a good day. he has deep low voice, and talks very slowly. all that combined makes him sound like everything he says is an ominous prophecy spelling doom or something. he also has two modes: either talks so quietly that noone can understand him or booming thunder voice

by that same logic tailgate also had a french accent but he tries to blend in with the other autobots pretty hard and with time he speaks with a canadian-esque mix of american and french. since hes so old (like physically) his vocalizer wasnt built to be easily reconfigured so he has to put in more effort to change how he talks

ultra magnus is basically a suit of armor right? well it has its own magnus-vision so it wouldnt be unreasonable to assume it has a magnus-voice as well! the voice itself is fairly generic action hero-style with a heavy metallic/robotic effect. also has zero emphasis on words and speaks as factual as possible, cause tyrest was enamored with the vision of an “perfectly detached law-enforcer“

conversely minimus sounds like the youtuber northernlion, in that hes canadian, but he talks slowly and clearly enunciates every word. i imagine he keeps his tone carefully neutral because being out of the armor loses him his pokerface

this doesnt make much sense probably unfortunately but i never said i was eloquent or coherent, ty for giving me a chance to ramble about my favorite topic

I love the way you write misfire so much!!!! I think short fin mako! Misfire is literally perfect for him. Like I'm imaging him accidentally getting stuck on the deck of your boat out at sea.

Also my brain is empty only thinking about giving merformer! Misfire an energy drink for the first time. You let him have ONE sip of your monster and he chugs half the can in one gulp and makes it EVERYONES problem.

The first time you meet the captain of the scavengers is because he begged you to "never do what you did again. I don't know what kind of fish you gave him, or special bubbly land water you put in his mouth, but NEVER do it again. He was like a dolphin after playing volleyball with a puffer fish."

maybe the scavengers help fight pollution efforts by picking up litter off the bottom of the ocean. That's how the meet reader!!! Who's diving to pick up litter and nets and fish lines.

Misfire, the precious little boy, the ultimate baby girl, thinks reader WANTS these strange items and gives them to them as courting gifts but reader is OBLIVIOUS to his intentions.

He's the orange cat of the ocean.

I like that you gave Grimlock the prehistoric shark! I think Megalodon fits his dino ass well.

Scavengers being scavengers and in the process cleaning up the ocean, what a way to get along well with the reader!! This also may mean they have a little mermaid type of misconception about the land world, thinking forks are combs and stuff like that. Instead of the W.A.P. Being a ship of some sort, it could be like a home cave for them. Also nickel is a shrimp. They are sassy and clean creatures that deserve the world.

So I’m going to talk about Transformers Earthrise

I kinda just wrote each thing after each episode so I won’t forget much.

I’m writing what I remember from each episode

🚨SPOILERS AHEAD🚨

Episode 1: Elita is cool as ever, freeing Decepticons and pulling out “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings” on Jetfire when he was questioning why she wanted to free them.

And then Steeljaw :( He was in cassette mode when they were hurting him. Makes me sad thinking about it. If Blaster is going to make an appearance, I hope Steeljaw will be with him.

Also, I need to know what’s up with Megatron having Ultra Magnus’s head on his table and just talking to him like a normal conversation.

There’s a happy Red Alert moment when he talks about how happy he is to have someone on their team who can fly. I’m calling for a Red Alert and Jetfire friendship.

Megatron acknowledges that Elita is a good leader and saying she could’ve been leaderbof the Autobots instead,. He may have started a war but he still knows what’s good.

The bots at Section 12... I loved them, they were so nice to Megatron and were admiring him a lot. It’s easy to tell it hurt him very much to have to “sacrifice” them for the project. I’m pretty sure all of us were sad. Those three bots were very nice.

Episode 2:

Elita is once again acknowledged by Megatron she is a good leader. He even called her Ariel. I’m wondering if we’ll see the past between them.

When Megatron put them in the cylinder thingies, the Decepticons the Autobots frees the first episode came to save them.

The bot even said “Til all are one”

And Skyfire... this huge dude really did just fall against the glass wall while they were trying to escape all stealth mode.

Luckily Skytread let them escape. It was funny when he asked one of them to punch cause Chromia was like “on sight, bro” and went for it. Like I love Chromia. :D

We also get to see our bots on the Ark again! And we get to see the mercenaries too.

We get to see conehead seekers again dudes! And this is my first time seeing Doubledealer on the screen(might be his first time? I honestly don’t know)

What’s with the gray colored Bumblebee, Wheeljack, and Hound? But yet again, it could just be reusing the same models.

Where’s tiny man Prowl? Where’s Ratchet?

When G. Bumblebee said “Where’s the ugly looking one?”, I was like “sir, you looked in a mirror lately?”

Quintessons! And for some reason, blue spirit mask looking Deseeus just cut off all the Qunitesson other faces just cause she wanted a consensus? Damn

Episode 3: Oh no sad Optimus. D:

Ayyy more Elita and co, they even got a bunch of Decepticon with them. Oop the Reflector with the scars is named Scrapface.

Elita seems more chill with Jetfire now. More friendships! I really like seeing Elita and her group.

Also the Autobots found the Nebulon station.

Bee and Prime walked through the space bridge, and the other side of beautiful. It’s got a similar terrain like Earth’s. It’s leafy and green and colorful.

So they got knocked out from the blast, and Ravage was sniffing Starscream to check if he was alive, but the dude shoved him off. Rude, he making sure you live.

He thinks Megs is dead so now he’s leader.

Now Prime and Megatron are stuck in a room together, and now they’re talking. Megatron’s got a girder in his chest and he slowly dying.

The bots and cons are working together now! S not for now though.

Then Starscream starts talking shit to Megs and when he’s done talking about how he’d be a better leader, he says “What’s your argument?”

Megatron just shoots him. Ravage then checks on him again, but he shoves him off again. Why is he so rude?

Oop bots be out here calling Megatron a Quintesson and he’s offended. Quite hilarious

Starscream is really taking command and tossing Barricade aside. Starscream I love you but push him again and I’ll fight you.

So now something happened to the Nemesis ship, or perhaps it was the Ark.

Episode 5: Alpha Trion and Sky Lynx!! Sky Lynx wants to be a Prime too.

So the Autobots are in the Dead Universe. Sky Lynx is still alive and can apparently hear all.

Andddd he’s got some spiritual power and talking to Optimus now.

Sky Lynx is now humbled, I think he’s gonna join the Autobots.

So Megatron alive and he’s boutta pimp slap him.

GALVATRON?! where’d he come from?!

Sky Lynx is really making sad.

And now Galvatron doing the same spiritual thing to Megatron.

OP, let Sky Lynx go with you! Let him be redeemed.
