He's not that picky and will eat just about anything even if he doesn't enjoy it

Didn't know how to cook real food for a long time bc he never learned and didn't want to.

Chips and random snacks are his favorite things to eat he'll eat doritos for 4 weeks straight as his only food if he wanted

Can eat an entire buffet by himself

By default everything freemind makes is his favorite things to eat

Likes Muffins. Even if they're dry and not that good he still enjoys them

Favorite breakfast is Crepes but only if they're made right (He hates crepes from ihop. he'll still eat them though)

fave ice cream is any of them with as much syrup and crap on them as you can put in there

Will eat a snack in every situation. He could be in a room where they say to not eat or you'll die and he'll do it anyways

gets the same exact item off the menu every single time. He would have a full meltdown if his favorite item is taken off and would rather drive into a wall then try something new. this has ruined his day or week multiple times

He will be stuck on two items bc he doesnt know what he would enjoy more (also he has a weird minor anxiety like "what if i choose x and i shouldve chosen z and now i've irreparably damaged my future). this can be avoided if Barmey is with him bc Barmey will go "choose that one" when he's struggling

He thinks burgers from fast food places are shit. he hates burger king. He will still eat carls jr n shit sometimes tho. not mcdonalds or burger king though

Favorite dessert is a specific creme brulee from a specific fancy place. His fave NORMAL dessert is pumpkin pie though

He loves spicy shit. even if it hurts. he could eat carolina reapers for fun

Unbearable need to steal as many sugar packets as he can fit into his pockets. he WILL in fact eat them straight up

If he is at a restaurant and he finds hair in his food he's usually grossed out but he can still eat he'll just. section off that bit that had it in there but if he's having bad enough day he'll just leave. he wont even pay

Chronic chewer of random rubber. He is not against just straight up eating it too if it just happens to happen. counting this as a food thing

claims to not be a sweets guy but 99% of the snacks he eats is candy. fave is laffy taffy (banana)

EXTRA tomato sauce, Bacon (NOT CANADIAN), Chicken, Pineapple, Mushroom, Red and green peppers, banana peppers, Jalapeno peppers, black Olives, Buffalo sauce (optional), if he doesn't get buffalo sauce he put sausage on it instead.

"Saw something that said that fairy types was introduced in X and Y. That it was ten years ago. I feel old, so now I wonder how those who played something like Pokémon Yellow must feel." I was happily going along not thinking anything about how old I apparently am, and then I saw this. As someone who's first Pokémon game was Pokémon Red (with yellow following soon after) I feel positively ancient now, lol. I feel like I can now go on some old lady rant about how back in my day Pokémon natures and abilities weren't even a thing. Jokes aside sometimes I forget just how old Pokémon as a series is. I got the Burger King Pokémon toys and KFC Pokémon plush toys are like 20+ years old now, and I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around that. I guess answering the question of how someone who played yellow (or in my case red) first feels I tend to think less about its age, and more about how far it has come and how its still insanely popular. Kind of incredible to see how we went from the pretty simple red/blue/yellow to the games we have now with online trading (no more trading cable needed amazing!), shiny Pokémon, natures, abilities, and now about a 1008 Pokémon (as I am writing this). If they ever remade the Pokémon Rap that song would go on for a while. So pretty much in a nutshell I feel more like the 'technology is amazing' guy that's in every mainline Pokémon game combined with a bit of "Oh man I'm freaking old."

You came back to the foundation one day with a cup of iced drink and Cain had asked what you were drinking and you showed him

He was mildly confused but soon understood the beverage since he had seen them somewhere on the web (no, not the hub, an advert from McDonald's)

You asked if he wanted to try some and he did, so you gave him a sip

You were slightly annoyed and surprised since you drove over an hour and hadn't had anything to drink and the last thing you wanted was someone taking your drink

But since it was 073, you made it an exception since you hadn't expected him to have any food or beverages outside of site 17

You figured that he had enjoyed it as he reminisced his past about being able to eat plant-based food but no longer could

You felt bad and agreed to get more when you next go back

The researchers had wondered if the drink had ever rotted in his mouth but realise moments later that it's mainly made out of artificial ingredients aside from the natural flavourings

SCP 076-2 (Abel)

I have high doubts that you would be able to persuade Abel to drink such a plain beverage, so you had devised a plan to get him to try

You made a bet with Abel in which the loser has to finish off the drink, not that you'd complain (you unhealthy mf), but you really wanted him to give it a try

Abel accepted and had very much lost the bet

He had taken a sip and you noticed that he's enjoying the drink and teased him

He spat it out and flat out denied it (like the tsundere he is) but continued drinking it anyways

Some of the researchers monitoring Abel's cell found it rather amusing that he enjoyed such a "plain beverage" and did try to tease him about it

Let's just say it didn't end very well as it resulted in somebody's head being chopped off

999 would most definitely take the drink out of your hand since his little tingles tell him that whatever you were drinking was sweet

And he was very much right

You were slightly shocked but wasn't surprised since he does have quite a sweet tooth

Every now and again, SCP 999 would ask if you had any more of those drinks and would even ask what they were

You had explained to him that it's a lemon and line flavoured soft drink created by the Coca-Cola company (the more you know right?)

He was intrigued and sweetly requested if you could buy him more and you obliged

You would use your time off to buy a dozen of Sprites from McDonald's and would sometimes buy other soft drinks like Coke and Fanta for 999

Needless to say, you had an orange blob as your personal pet who would give you unlimited hugs since you spoiled him with so many drinks

SCP 682 (Hard to Destroy Reptile)

This mf of a lizard right here is just as stubborn, if not even more than Abel, and would reject trying that beverage at all for the whole entire week

You had to bribe him and the researchers were laughing their socks off from this interaction you both got going

He did give in but was rather hesitant at first

Once you poured some into his mouth, he seemed slightly disgusted from the taste

He would just sit still for a moment as to contemplate then stuck his tongue out as a sign of disgust

But bring the cheeky person you were, you spilt more into his mouth which led to him farting for the next few hours to which everyone laughed

Dr Bright heard the commotion and came to see what was happening

You and the foundation staff burst out of laughter at his 20/20 eyesight

So one day, you returned to the foundation with some Sprite in your hands in hopes that 106 would give it a go and so he did

He found the flavour somewhat new and strange but still enjoyed it nevertheless (this boi here do be a man of culture, am I right?)

Anyways, 106 loved it so much to the point that during one of the breaches, he disappeared from the foundation and reappeared with 10 boxes of Sprite

The researchers then realised afterwards that 106 had used his pocket dimension to teleport to the nearest McDonald's and stole the boxes of Sprite without even paying

They were even more surprised to find that the workers there were ordinary humans and weren't even fazed about 106 teleporting to their business (Sames here bro! If anyone stole my food/drinks I'd be pissed too regardless of who it is!!! Food is food!!!)

Jack Bright is very much aware of McDonald's and other fast-food chains since he does have a fair share of memories of eating them with his family and because the bodies he possesses do be unhealthy af (just like you)

Your co-worker also just happened to leave for a meeting so you're both stuck together talking about McDonald's

Another doctor who has knowledge of fast foods

He's similar to Bright in a way as he doesn't leave the facility as often as he likes since he's constantly busy

Also, he would make terrible jokes and puns using wordplay

When you told him about your favourite drink, Sprite, Glass immediately said "I went to the store to get eight cans of Sprite. When I got home, I realized I’d only picked seven up"

You just looked dumbfounded at his puns and laughed as he continued

He did manage to take a sip and drank the whole can of Sprite instead

You even bought some wrap with extra mayo and told Simon about your friendly chat with the waitress/cashier and mentioned her former co-workers

And you died on the inside because his only reply was "She should go back sometime to ketchup with her old co-workers or she mayo not want to"

I mean he doesn't necessarily eat salad or anything overly healthy, but he does have a balanced diet for the most part and does treat himself sometimes, but not too often

Dear lord. So. I mentioned before that I'm not vegetarian for ethical reasons and that, if I cared about ethics, I'd construct my diet and buying choices around minimizing deforestation.

So let's talk about what that'd actually look like.

These are the primary sites I reviewed:

Our World in Data

12 Major Companies Responsible for Deforestation

Based on these sites, the primary issues are beef, soy, palm oil, and paper production. The first three there are responsible for 60% of deforestation.

Interestingly, only 6% of soy production is for human consumption. The rest is for livestock or biofuels. So, I could trim down on my soy consumption, but if I were to start eating meat, I'd want to make sure I knew how the livestock was being fed so that they weren't reliant on soy.

The top company to avoid is Cargill, which is a bit tricky. Their clients include Unilever, Tesco, McDonald’s, Carrefour, Kellogg’s, Sainsbury’s, Mars, Petcare, Ahold Delhaize, Dunkin’ Brands, Nestle [x], Burger King, and Wal-Mart. They also have a lot of brands.

With Cargill, it seems the easier option is to write the various companies and policymakers to put pressure on Cargill to change their practices. [Completed Petition]

Okay...Cargill is 100% horrifying and cloaked in secrecy. [x]

Moving on.

Wilmar International Ltd primarily does palm oil. They claimed to be going toward sustainability, but it seems they've fallen off that wagon. But they're still getting rewards for their efforts. So this seems a bit like ymmv.

More companies to avoid or minimize: Walmart, JBS, IKEA, Korindo Group PT, Yakult Honsha Co. Ltd (yes, that yakult), Starbucks, McDonalds, Yum! Brands (e.g., KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell), Proctor & Gamble, and Ahold Delhaize (e.g., Food Lion, Giant, Stop and Shop).

Sources to check to see how companies are doing are the Forest 500 and Rainforest Action Network scorecard.

Some of those will be easy. I live in Chicago--going to Walmart takes considerable effort. Others will be harder--I'm going to IKEA this weekend to get a part for my brand new bed, for instance. But, I don't shop there regularly. Cutting down on P&G brands will be hard. [See X, X].

This is too big. Nothing I do will actually have any impact. Any stand I take will be more for the principle of it than effect. Looking at Greenpeace for ways to help lower my contribution to deforestation through what I buy and use, the first idea is lowering meat consumption. I'm vegetarian, so done.

(I do think it'd be all right to eat some meat if it is local and you're certain the livestock aren't fed soy).

The next is to only purchase or use paper/wood products that are either recycled or sourced ethically (look for the Forest Stewardship Council mark).

Then, avoid palm oil. This is far, far more easily said than done. Plus, while current palm oil practices are horrendous, it apparently requires less land than any other vegetable oil to produce and so may ultimately be more sustainable than other options. So, palm oil isn't the problem, the current practices are. [X, X, X, X]

Reduce single-use plastics. Recycle and shop sustainably.

To distill all of that--be more aware of what you're buying and try to make choices that lean toward sustainability by reducing non-local meat, processed foods (that will hit both some of the brands to avoid from before and palm oil), disposable plastics, and anything that isn't or can't be recycled.

Everything is a lot. That's why, when I was a little kid, I hit on vegetarianism as something I could do. I don't think eating meat is morally wrong, but meat-for-food does contribute heavily to deforestation through land for the livestock and for growing their feed.

But I'm horrible about recycling. We didn't do it growing up and my last apartment didn't have recycling bins for pick-up. None of us are perfect. We just do what we can.

I have no desire to go zero-waste, but I can start thinking of ways to limit my trash output. I think that's a good next step in my goal to limit my personal contributions to deforestation.

At the same time, the only way our forests and rainforests are going to survive is if corporations stop destroying them. So I can contribute to organizations waging those battles.

I'm not vegetarian because my ethics, except, after thinking through all of this, maybe I am. The problem is that, if that is the case, I both need and want to start bringing the rest of my life in line with my ethical stance.

He picked up the phone from the island and stared at it for a moment, looking at the stupid picture of you that you had taken with his phone. He smiled at how silly and adorable you looked before shaking it off and composing himself when he realised his smile had grown wider.

He sighed, hesitantly swiped to the right then placing it by his ear.

"Hey, my sexy, delicious Veggie Burger."

Vegeta grimaced at the nickname. "Hello, (Y/n). What do you want?"

"Can't I just call my favourite person in the world without ulterior motives."

"So I guess I'm not talking to (Y/n). Sorry, but you got the wrong number.",he teased.

"Hey hey hey. Hold up."

He chuckled. "What?"

"Can I come over?"

Before he could respond, he was cut off by a knock on the door. Wondering who it could be, he headed to the door, praying internally that it wasn't Kakarot or anyone else since he didn't feel like being social at the moment.

He let out a sigh when he opened the door, revealing a certain smiling (Y/n) with a phone by your ear.

"Too late. I'm already here."

A scowl shaped his lips as a light blush coated his cheeks.

"I didn't invite you! You just showed up to my house unannounced.",he said before heading to his room to change.

You looked back at his face to find him with an annoyed scowl. "What?"

You licked your lips seductively. "Damn, check out my Veggie Burger looking like a snack. Mm, I might just take a bite out of you."

You could see his face turn a violent red before he turned around and crossed his arms.

He scoffed. "Would you just get up so we can go?"

"Where are we going?",you asked. You placed another scoop of ice cream into your mouth as you awaited a response, taking the opportunity to stare at his toned back and round, firm ass.

"You asked me to take you out for lunch so that's what I'm gonna do.",he said without turning around. "Just so you don't complain the rest of the day."

When he didn't hear a response, he glanced over his shoulder. He followed your gaze and noticed you staring at his booty, the mere thought almost making him face fault to the ground in embarrassment.

He turned his body around, earning an annoyed whine from you.

His eyes widened, realisation hitting him at what you thought.

"W-what...no I-its just. God, you're impossible." He ran his hand down his face, trying to cool his heated blush and to compose himself.

"You spilled ice cream on your shirt.",he said, pointing at the spill.

"Oh."

He sighed then headed to the direction of his room then came out with a shirt before tossing it at your face.

"Here, wear this."

You looked at the slightly oversized shirt then at Vegeta. "Thanks."

When his gaze was off you, you discreetly shoved his shirt in your face, loving the smell of his scent. You stopped yourself before Vegeta could see you and took off your shirt to put his on.

"What the–!" you heard just as you were about to put his shirt on.

"What?",you asked, clear confusion hinted in your tone.

"Why didn't you–you know what? Nevermind. Just hurry up.",he said before heading outside. You couldn't help but smile, remembering the large dark blush of red on his face.

You tied a knot on the side of the large shirt to make it look more presentable on your form.

"So...I guess this means we're dating.",you said to yourself before laughing at the statement.

He scoffed. He was about to suggest flying but you stopped him by jumping up excitedly.

"Can we drive there?" You wrapped your arm over his shoulders and stared up at the sky as you envisioned it. "You know, just two cool dudes on the road, blasting music, wearing shades and looking savage as fuck."

He let out a defeated sigh, not bothering to argue. "Fine."

"Yay!" You skipped to the car with Vegeta following behind, trying to battle a smile as he watched you. He wouldn't admit it but he liked how you looked in his shirt.

"Wait," you turned just in time to catch the keys he threw at you. "I'm not expert at this driving shit but I'm pretty sure you need keys."

You smiled as you looked at the keys then back at Vegeta with a devilish grin. He already knew what was coming yet was never prepared for it.

You held the keys up, whilst your other hand rested on your hip. "Boy, you don't need keys to drive me crazy."

You couldn't tell by his expression if he wanted to kill you or fuck you then kill you but you decided to head in the car despite your curiosity.

"So where are we headed.",you asked him when he got in the passenger seat.

"You choose."

You both stood at the parking lot. Vegeta leaning against the car as he waited for you to pick a place between McDonald's, Burger King or KFC. He didn't really know why you loved these places considering how unhealthy he thought they were.

"Hmm, what do you think, Veggie burger?"

He just shrugged. "I don't know, idiot. Just pick a place. I'm starving." Just as he said that, every aroma from the surrounding restaurants found a way to his nose.

"If I don't eat soon, then I'll have you for lunch."

You perked up at the sound of his empty threat then placed your hands on his chest as you leaned closer to him. "How do you want me served, your majesty?",you whispered in a sultry tone, uncaring of the passerbys that spotted you two.

"I-I...(Y/n).",he stuttered, which you found pretty adorable.

"You-you w-what?",you teased.

That was a mistake.

You were soon pressed against the car and his body, with Vegeta's hand trailing down your waist while the other was on your cheek. The predatory look in his eyes somewhat told you that you were gonna pay for all that teasing.

"Vegeta?" He smiled at that. Seeing you so flustered that you didn't call him by his nickname. You were all talk but when the tables were turned, you had been as flustered as he was.

He kissed along your jawline till he reached your ear, whispering huskily,

"I'll be Burger King and you'll be McDonald's. I'll have it my way and you'll be loving it."

“Of course! You’re apart of the family now!” Your mom told the table. You and Steve faked your laughs as best as you could.

Dinner was finally over, and Steve was ready to go.

“Thanks again, Ms. Henderson!” Steve waved as you pushed him out the door. “Good luck with your brother, I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 10.”

“Got it, get home safe.” You gave him a peck on the lips and rushed back inside and to your room. Before you could escape the night through the action of sleeping, there was a rattle of your locked door handle.

“Y/N, I know you’re up. Let me in.” Your brother demanded. You stayed silent. “Let me in or else I’m coming in through the window!” Your brother’s threats brought you to your feet. You opened the door and let him in. He immediately stormed in and you shut your door. Dustin sat on your bed.

“Why?” He asked the ominous, yet obvious question. “How could you do this?”

“Dustin...” You mumbled.

“He’s like, the bestest friend I have. Why did you have to go after him?” Dustin interrogated.

“Well, little brother, I’ve known Steve a lot longer than you. And he asked me out, I just accepted his offer and here we are. It just happened that way.” You explained.

“I hate that! Dump him! I don’t want this!” He protested.

“It’s not that easy.” You told him. Dustin rolled his eyes and stomped out of the room, slamming your door. Your eyes widened. “Well, at least he closed the door.” You mumbled.

The next morning, you stood on your porch, awaiting the arrival of your boyfriend. Your brother was peaking through the curtains, cheeks turning red from rage. Finally, Steve pulled into the driveway and you entered his car.

“How was last night?” He asked you.

“Dustin forced himself into my room and told me to break up with you.” You fell back into your seat.

“So...as expected?” Steve chuckled softly. You covered your face with your hands and groaned. “Hey, don’t worry. He’ll come around.” Steve assured you. “Let’s do something fun, get your mind off of all of this.” You put your hands down to reveal a few tears coming down your face. “Oh, baby. Stop stressing,” Steve hugged you awkwardly from over the console, “want me to drive for a few hours, just go sightseeing?” You nodded in agreement.

The drive was quiet and peaceful, until Steve turned your favorite song on. He started singing along to it for you, and you just had to join in. Your day had gotten much better now that Steve was here. He pulled into a Burger King drive-thru and ordered your usual.

“Thank you, babe.” You smiled as he handed you your drink.

“Anything for you.” He told you while he dug your food out of the bag. “Let’s get back to Hawkins, now.” You frowned. “I’m sorry, y/n, I know everything will get better soon, though.” Steve brought your hand towards himself and kissed it, then began to drive towards Hawkins. You enjoyed your meal and got to talk to Steve for a bit about yourselves, not about the stress of your brother. Sadly, your road trip came to an end. Your boyfriend parked the car and talked to you momentarily. “Whatever happens with your brother, I’m always here for you. He can’t split us up, remember? He’ll understand.” You nodded and gave Steve a goodbye kiss, then he watched you get into your house safely.

Dustin was waiting for you on the couch, foot tapping, jaw clenched.

“Y/N, sit down.” He instructed. Your eyes rolled, but you did as he said.

“Yes, dear brother?” You asked mockingly.

“I want you and Steve to stop dating.” He told you. You frowned at his request.

“Dusty, listen to me. You can’t control my love life. I’m an adult. Steve’s an adult. You have to understand that. You don’t want Sally’s parents separting you, right?” You explained to him.

“It’s Suzie.” He corrected.

“Whatever, just think about it.” Dustin stared at the carpet briefly and picked his head up.

“I said that Steve was one of my bestest friends,” Dustin balled his fists, “that’s because you are the bestest friend. I don’t want to lose you, y/n.” Tears dropped into his lap and you rushed over to hug him.

“Hey, don’t cry, you know I’m always here for you. I’m always gonna be your big sister who loves you no matter what and will do anything you want to keep you happy. Do you wanna play a board game? It’s been weeks since we’ve gotten to play.” Your brother wiped his tears with his arm and looked at you, eyes still glossy.

“Monopoly?” He asked. You walked to the game cabinet and pulled the box out. His frown turned into a big smile and he ran over to the table to help set up. This helped reassure him that his worries about your relationship were nothing to be afraid of.

But he still had things to discuss with Steve. Baby Brother Style.
