Abel was one of those people who was difficult to contain. Many people died at his hands, including employees of the foundation. But they kept looking for the best way to contain him until they found you. Outwardly, you looked like a human being, but even you knew perfectly well that something was wrong with you. You've been alive too long, and it's really worn you out. That's why you didn't pay attention to the foundation staff who were studying you, and you didn't mind when they decided to try to use you to restrain Abel. According to the information they were able to get from you, you have received a large number of wounds in the past, but you could not die from them, so there was a chance that you could survive and prevent Abel from leaving his detention area

They slightly changed the corridor in which he was kept, which is why you were alone with a strange, black cube. They explained to you that your task is to prevent anyone who leaves this cube from leaving the room. You had to stop him at all costs. Their orders made you a little annoyed, but in return they were willing to give you what you asked for, as long as it wasn't something dangerous. And you didn't need much. The opportunity to have some fun, delicious food that you haven't had time to get tired of yet, and the opportunity to sleep for at least a couple of hours. That's how your life began next door to a strange cube and Abel, who you knew was inside the cube, even though he was dead. You read books, listened to music, but all this quickly got boring, and while new books did not have time to deliver, you found entertainment that, as you said, did not let you go crazy. You were talking to Abel, even though you knew he wouldn't answer you or even hear you

When Abel first woke up after you started working as his guard, he attacked you, intending to quickly kill you and move on, but a surprise awaited him. You're not dead. Your wounds healed in just a matter of seconds, and you didn't even flinch, just irritably told him that it was pretty rude for a first meeting. It would seem that you were not afraid of the pain you were experiencing from your wounds. You really didn't let him advance any further, which was easier to do thanks to the weapons you provided, because your physical strength wasn't much different from that of an ordinary person. When he swore in ancient Sumerian, you giggled, saying it was pretty rude. It was as if you didn't perceive him as a threat. You were both stubborn enough that he inflicted serious wounds on you, and you were able to kill him. After that, your work as a security guard continued and your status was changed to thaumiel, which you yourself had no idea about. But you honestly told the foundation staff, who had to restrain him if you couldn't handle it, that this acquaintance was the funniest you've had in the last hundred years

You kept talking to him while he was recovering. You read aloud to him the books that you read, talked about moments from your long life. It would seem that only a dead aggressive man whom you had to restrain was the only one to whom you could tell about all this. Every time he was reborn, your battle resumed, and looking at the images from the surveillance cameras, the foundation staff was once again convinced that these meetings were not only not enjoyed by you. It would seem that Abel had found an opponent whom he currently wanted to defeat and whom he was passionate about fighting. It wasn't clear how long it could last, but as long as you continued to stop Abel, no one was going to stop this experiment. The staff was seriously worried when they saw that Abel didn't attack you again, but it only lasted about a minute and a half, as if you were talking about something. You didn't tell them, but it was true. He asked you why you're still alive. You honestly told him that you would like to know yourself. After that, every time he was reborn, he asked you one question, you answered him honestly, seeing no point in lying, after which everything continued again

Sometimes you wondered if Abel could finally end your life, but so far it hasn't happened. You knew yourself that it was naive of you to be friendly with him. But you had all the time in the world to try to find out about him what the foundation's staff couldn't, and you were stubborn enough not to give up. So far, Abel hasn't made much contact, but before all you heard from him was swearing, which means that he somehow started interacting with you, even if it was just questions, it was already progress

I'm not sure if this was what you imagined, but this is what I could come up with

Ofc being a researcher meant that you would meet various SCPs, including SCP 076 (Abel)

He would ofc be aggressive like he normally does but with you being the most stubborn and persistent researcher, Abel would slowly become more fond of you

It started out as having a few interactions to having many with one of your first chats about Cain which lead to a containment breach

You and Cain were great friends and when he got the news that you were going to give his little brother a visit, he became more worried

With the containment breach, Cain would be one of the first to look for you only to see Able right in front of him

By the time you found Abel, he was on the verge of trying to murder his older brother until you stupidly stood in front of him (you're lucky Abel has just enough self-control to not slice you into pieces)

Abel was quite shocked and so was everyone else in the foundation

The MTF managed to somehow detain Abel and take him back to his cell

Abel's heartbeat so fast, he couldn't even comprehend how or why he hesitated and why his heart was beating so fast

Cain checked in on you as your shock slowly wore off

"How could you do that (Y/N)? Do you know how dangerous that could've been had Abel not stopped?" was all Cain could let out

He was so concerned and worried for you that even he missed how Abel looked at you and behaved

As you went back into your room for some rest, some other researchers and MTFs asked for you to visit 076

By the time you got there, you saw Cain waiting by Abel's cell as you gave a confused look

Cain stayed by the window as you were led into 076's cell and Abel emerged

Everyone was curious and shocked at the same time when he emerged and the first thing he did was hug

Cain was smiling softly as he watched and gave Abel a wink and leaving you confused

The other researchers noted down this interaction and had to break you both up as Abel tried to resist and go back to you

If you hadn't stopped him, he could've caused another containment breach

When you went back, you asked Cain what had happened he explained that he had a little chat with Abel only to find out that his little brother had some feelings for you

Weeks went by and with Cain's encouragement, Abel managed to ask you out, and ofc, you accepted

Soon, the whole foundation knew about this with some wanting to use this as an opportunity for tests while others looked down on this idea of an ordinary researcher dating one of the most hostile SCPs

Those who judge the relationship between you and Abel were quite harsh with some even whispering depreciative comments about your looks which made your day worsen

Cain would slap them whenever he heard those comments and warned them about the consequences if it was Abel that heard them instead

On the days that you felt bad about yourself, you went and stayed in Abel's containment

Telling him everything and him soothing you about how much he cares for you, physically and mentally

Some careless staff came into Abel's cell to retrieve you and spoke of one of those mean comments

Without hesitation, Abel smacked the guy into the walls of his cell with such force that it bought him to the brink of death

If you hadn't come over to force him to let go, the staff would've died right then and there

The staff ran back in so fast that you didn't even get to say a thing and swore to never say such words again

Word got out and everyone became more and more fearful with similar incidents happening more frequently

Eventually, everyone left you both alone and kept their comments to themselves

As for those who wanted to use you to gain additional knowledge and tests, there were moments when you were helpless and fearful as you wouldn't know what would happen to Abel while you weren't there

However, despite this, the scientists and researchers were well aware of what they should and shouldn't do during these tests as you and Abel threatened some of them that if they did anything remotely dodgy, they wouldn't see the light of day ever again

As for Cain, he keeps a watchful eye over everyone who dares to do anything out of the ordinary to his 2 favorite people

Video Game Therapy, Or That is NOT How You Rip a Spine Out

076-2 gets the urge to kill something. Again. But Rabbit has a better idea: play some Mortal Kombat, and review. No one dies (in the site), but Abel is not impressed.

10 pm on a Saturday, and I'm supposed to be having a quiet drink with my Doctor. But no, Big Brother is misbehaving. He's been surly with the guards, with the staff, even with Iris. Not violent yet, but Dr. Gears and Dr. Clef are worried. But... I have a plan: instead of human targets, give him something less likely to result in massive casualties to take his aggression out on.

Cue my dumb ass wheeling in an AV cart with a TV, an Xbox, and a copy of Mortal Kombat. If it works, great. If not... if I survive I owe the Foundation some new equipment. And if I die, well... dead women owe nothing, right?

I set everything up, and knock.

"Hey, Big Brother? Do you want to fight a dictator? It doesn't have to be a dictator. Hell, you can even fight AS the dictator. C'mon, come teach Little Sister everything the game got wrong about combat. I brought pizza."

The door creaks open. "Did you say... pizza?"

"Uh huh. Deluxe, extra sausage and peppers, your favorite. All you gotta do is watch, learn a bit, and tell me how off the game is on some stuff."

"Pizza first, I do not want to ruin your toy."

"It's actually Clef's, but he's not fond of Xbox, so it's fine." I pass over the pizza and get started. He's checking out the character select screen, asking questions.

"Who is the yellow ninja?"

"Scorpion, also known as Hanzo Hasashi. He's... had it rough. Comes home from a hard day's work to find his clan massacred, his son and wife frozen, and the culprit about to leave. He thought it was the first ice dude Sub Zero, but it was the evil asshole sorcerer Quan Chi who did it. He did get his revenge, after killing all of a hell to do it. After that he and the first Sub Zero's brother, who is now the second Sub Zero are besties. He's got fire powers, can drag people to hell, and has a chain kunai. I like him."

"I can respect him. I think I have my choice."

He starts playing, and after a few rough matches, has got the hang of it. And is making snide comments about his opponents. The gamer is strong in this one.

"Terrible. That's not how you rip a spine out. First, you need to sever the neck muscles and tendons."

"She's nearly nude, and they let children play this? And 682 has less frightening teeth. I like her sais though."

"He froze me! I thought we were friends, Sub-Zero!"

"Where the hell did the hammer come from? Cheating (untranslatable) little soul sucking maggot!"

Abel didn't get much affection from his dad as a kid, his father only paid attention to him to yell at him or when he did something he considered worthy enough to give him very small amounts of affection as a 'reward'. Because of this Abel always did whatever he could think of to appease his father and gain his approval as most of their interactions was Adam criticising something about Abel. Either the way he laughed ,spoke or walked Adam would find something to shame him for.

when Abel was 7 years old he almost died fighting a large boar that had been eating from their people's farms. He killed the boar but he himself almost bled out and only survived because someone managed to get him to his mom and older brother, who were healers. All his dad said was a half hearted 'good job' and a small pat on the shoulder. That's pretty much the MOST affection he ever got from his dad.

Because of that he gets very confused when someone is kind to him without asking anything of him because in his mind he hasn't done anything to deserve it, kindness is a transaction. He wouldn't be kind to someone for no reason and expects the same treatment back because his father has taught him that kindness and affection are earned and that he's only worth what he can do
