Rick Jones and Marlo Chandler prepare for their wedding by going on their night outs on separate parties. Marlo Chandler, along with her mother and Betty Ross, go for a girls night out on a Bachelorette Party with She-Hulk, Invisible Woman, Lyja the Skrull, Scarlet Witch and Crystal. Whereas Rick Jones has a bachelor night with Hulk, Captain America, Vision, Quicksilver, Doc Samson, Silver Surfer, Ben Grimm, Iron Man, War Machine, Namor and his old friends from the Teen Brigade.
In the veterans hall, Rick's bachelor party is in full swing. As the Hulk's allies and superheroes converse with each other, members of the Teen Brigade spike the punch. Suddenly, the party is crashed by a costumed woman calling herself the Ecdysiast, hired for the party. Captain America thinks he hired a magician, but is quickly horrified to discover that she is actually a stripper when she shows herself off to Rick. Hulk tells Captain America not to tell Betty about this, wondering what she would think about such objectification of the human body. However, the ladies have all gone to a male strip club where they are having a wild time. Suddenly, the party is crashed by some armed gunmen who have come to rob the patrons. Their mistake, however, is in choosing the night the club is full of female superheroes. Later that night, Rick's party quiets down for the screening of an adult film. After the Vision uses his powers to fix the projector, they are all in for a surprise when the woman in the film turns out to be Rick's bride-to-be.

"MY ARMY SETTLED IN THE VALLEY of Barovia and took power over the people in the name of a just god, but with none of a god's grace or justice." -- Tome of Strahd
"Raven's Inquisition" is a Curse of Strahd prequel campaign I am currently playing in where we get to explore setting elements and character relations that otherwise could not have been explored in the canon module. The DM @emp-roar (me) is constructing the campaign as an adaptation of the "I, Strahd" novel, where Barovia has yet been established, Strahd is still human, and the players are all inquisitors overtaking the Tsolenka Valley under the von Zarovich crest and the banner of the Morninglord.
Hi all! It has been a while since I've been on the internet, but I have since graduated and pursuing a career in animation! I was gifted the I,Strahd book during the middle of the pandemic and had been itching to run a prequel campaign based on an adapted take of I, Strahd, exploring elements that made Barovia and ultimately, Strahd, the way it became.
Hope you like the Ravenloft cast who the party had met. (Unironically this looks like a dating sim.)
Additionally the breakdown of Sergei's Vestments can be found in my player's @tateringss arsenal.
Impera Brigade insignia credit goes to ChiRHOKin I adored the shape of his alternative Barovia flag.
Strahd Portrait belongs to WOTC and the overall design and style was heavily inspired by Thronebreaker a Witcher's Tale!
And lastly! SOL INVICTUS!

🚨🟢 Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida issued a speech today announcing the martyrdom of the commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades Mohammed Deif and resistance leaders from the General Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades as part of Al-Aqsa Flood battle:
O people of martyrs, the factory of men and heroes, O mujahideen and resistance fighters of our nation, O masses of our Arab and Islamic Ummah, and O free people of the world everywhere, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
With all pride, honor, and dignity, after completing all necessary procedures and addressing all security concerns imposed by the conditions of battle and the field, after conducting the necessary verifications and taking all relevant measures, the Al-Qassam Brigades announce to our great people, to our Ummah, and to all supporters of freedom and resistance around the world, the martyrdom of a group of great mujahideen and heroic leaders from the General Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades:
- The great martyr of the Ummah, Commander Mohammed Deif (Abu Khaled), Commander-in-Chief of Al-Qassam Brigades.
- The great martyr commander Marwan Issa (Abu Al-Bara), Deputy Chief of Staff of Al-Qassam Brigades.
- The martyred mujahid commander Ghazi Abu Tam’a (Abu Musa), Head of the Weapons and Combat Services Division.
- The martyred heroic commander Raed Thabet (Abu Mohammed), Head of the Manpower Division.
- The martyred heroic commander Rafiq Salama (Abu Mohammed), Commander of the Khan Younis Brigade.
We had previously announced during the battle the martyrdom of two other commanders:
- Ahmed Al-Ghandour (Abu Anas), Commander of the Northern Brigade.
- Ayman Nofal (Abu Ahmed), Commander of the Central Brigade.
May Allah have mercy on them and be pleased with them. Peace be upon their pure souls and upon all the martyrs of our people.
All these great men were martyred facing the enemy in the midst of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle—whether in leadership operation rooms, in direct engagements with enemy forces on the battlefield, or while overseeing and organizing the battle.
Our martyred leaders achieved their ultimate wish—martyrdom in the path of Allah—as the blessed conclusion of a life filled with devotion to Allah, and then for their freedom, their sanctities, and their land.
They sacrificed their lives to seal with their pure blood their sincerity and dedication, declaring that their blood is no more precious than that of any Palestinian child on this land. They were truthful to Allah, and He was truthful to them. We do not elevate anyone above Allah.
As we bid farewell to these great leaders on their journey to paradise, we affirm that these senior commanders fought and were martyred for their faith, their homeland, and Al-Aqsa.
They were killed in the greatest battle our people have ever known, for the holiest cause on earth, at the hands of the vilest and most despised of God's creation. And they were victorious—by inspiring millions of our people and our Ummah to carry the banner alongside them and after them, by the will of Allah.
Our martyrs were victorious when they passed the banner to steadfast and steadfast leaders—their comrades-in-arms, who, with Allah’s strength, will never know defeat.
These martyred commanders departed after a life of immense struggle, during which they fought heroic battles, inflicted heavy losses on the enemy, and placed its downfall and defeat on an inevitable path.
This is the legacy of our leader, Mohammed Deif (Abu Khaled)—who exhausted the enemy for over 30 years. How could Mohammed Deif be remembered in history without the title of martyr and the honor of martyrdom in the path of Allah?
How could Marwan Issa, the mastermind of Al-Qassam and its steadfast pillar, die in his bed? How could Abu Musa, the wise fighter and exceptional leader, or Raed Thabet, the towering mountain, not sacrifice their lives for Al-Aqsa?
How could our heroic brigade commanders—Ahmed Al-Ghandour, Ayman Nofal, and Rafiq Salama—not lead from the front alongside thousands of their fighting brothers and sacrifice their blood, after plunging a poisoned dagger into the heart of the enemy in Al-Aqsa Flood? The trade was indeed successful, O great ones!
Blessed are you, O our martyred leaders, your families, your children, and the people who nurtured you, embraced you, and stood by you in your lives—and will continue on your path after your passing until your aspirations are fulfilled, and your struggle achieves victory.
Glad tidings to you, O our leaders, and to all the martyrs of our people—those who were killed in the path of Allah—for He will not waste their deeds. He will guide them, improve their state, and admit them into paradise, which He has prepared for them.

A Kazdelian Rescue and Furnace-side Fables aren't out on Global yet, so I don't know quite how it continues and ends, but there's something really fascinating about how the actions of Dublinn and the Military Commission, Nezzsalem specifically, parallel each other.
Before getting into the themes, it's first just spectacular, the visuals of it and of a lot of the fighting around Silverrock Bluffs, between Dublinn and the Nachrezer you have like these two 'Evil' (visually, if (debatably) not morally) armies squaring off against each other, you've got super flame necromancy and shadow operatives versus floating sword wielding regenerating mummies commanded by the King on his Deadwood Throne, and then zoom the camera back some, across the entire Victorian front, you've got artillery bombardments and tank brigades squaring off against things like mobile witchcraft altars and death devouring immortal 'devils', while in the sky above, a massive reanimated flying dead-whale-skeleton performs boarding actions against a state of the art but-also-ghost-controlled combat airship. Chapter 14 very much makes the point that 'war is hell' (understatement) but. god. if it doesn't look cool as hell too.
But anyway! The Duke of Wellington! and Nezzsalem! Both rather equally meeting their match in each other, both quite literally described as feeding off of death, the end of Chapter 13 describing the Iron Duke as already having an Ursus Tsar, Herkunftshorn 'the Witch King', and Fantasy Napoleon in his 'belly'. And meanwhile you have Nezzsalem literally feeding off death, powering his soldiers, powering his witchcraft, healing his wounds, as he also has raised and tutored some of the strongest warriors Kazdel has ever known, the likes of Patriot, Theresa, and Theresis. Wellington vs Nezzsalem, very much a match made in Hell.
But Nezzsalem actually ends up being a little off base in his assessment of Wellington, thinking that he desires war for war's own sake. "The Victorians zealously chase after the phantom of victory while never understanding why we crave war in the first place." Because while Wellington is very much into that, war and conflict itself, Eblana herself sees the fire burning in his eyes, Wellington does also know when to pull back, which is also what Nezzsalem does at the end. Wellington lets the other ducal forces go into the meat grinder, then points his guns at the other Dukes as he unfurls the banner of Tara. They have to listen to him, and the upcoming nation of Tara, now.
Which is also what Nezzsalem says at the end. "From death comes new life" (fitting with him and the Nachrezer's tree and plant theming). Like Wellington and Dublinn, this war will also serve to bring new life to the Sarkaz and Kazdel. It very much did not end in a decisive Sarkaz victory or the like, but the long oppressed and scorned Sarkaz managed to bloody the nose of one of Terra's most powerful empires, and return home, not with their tails between their legs, but in a tactical retreat, and now in possession of hypothetical Weapons of Mass Destruction. The military victory that Theresis has wrought (while Theresa delivers a 'spiritual' victory for the Sarkaz over 'fate') is to ensure that there will never again be an omni-nation crusade against the Sarkaz race, never again will Kazdel fall, because now all nations will have witnessed the power of a unified Kazdel, and no nation should be willing to take that risk of going up against the Sarkaz again, with what Kazdel is now capable of. This is why Nezzsalem also says that, at the end, that he is 'sated' (paralleling the belly and hunger speak also used about Wellington), this war against Victoria had a purpose, and that purpose has been seemingly achieved, both in the strengthening of the Sarkaz's geopolitical position and in Theresa's victory over 'fate' and the release of the myriad souls.
You can very much see here that both Wellington+Tara, and Theresis+Kazdel, are practicing very similar forms of gunboat diplomacy, leveraging their partial military successes in order to exert power over the other nations of Terra and strengthen their long-oppressed yet budding nations.
This ties in with something really interesting that Hoederer said in Chapter 13, that this Londinium Crisis can't end simply end with Theresis' death, as W plainly wants, because that would just show to the world something along the lines of: "Sarkaz rabble banded together to attack Victoria but killed their own leader and fell to internal conflict, as the Sarkaz always do", and this weakness would invite retribution not only against the nation-city of Kazdel, but against Sarkaz populations across the globe. As much as Hoederer, and even W, want this war to end, it can't end on those terms, and it actually needs to end in a Sarkaz victory in order for Kazdel to survive; even Manfred, high ranking Military Commission man that he is, views the Lifebone project he (basically) helmed as a tool for the Sarkaz to return home, rather than merely a weapon of war.
(I haven't fully parsed out what exactly is going on now between Reed and Eblana, but I can't help but think it might be something similar, that neither could (even if they wanted to) dispose of the other because in doing so, it would invite other powers to weaken or fully discredit the Taran cause as a whole, if their just seen as another rebel force fighting among themselves.)
Anyway, Theresis might be one of the most talented military minds of our generation.

bayern has literally made noussair mazraoui met representatives of the jewish community of munich the other day. After he was slammed on the front page of bild who called him a terrorist supporter, after being shamed in more than one statement while he was away playing with morocco and being used as a scapegoat to discuss the well being on the other israeli player in the team. no further comment from progressive bayern ultras.
now mainz has terminated anwar el ghazi's contract, after suspending him, un-suspending him, putting in his mouth words he never said, apologies he never meant, twisting his words, playing with his feelings, altering his intentions until they proceeded to fire him. He's showing courage and he's speaking up for everyone but this is extremely upsetting. [also just a reminder, let's spare a thought for Youcef Atal in france who was suspended for SEVEN match days in the end].
German clubs' ultras clearly stand by them on this. St. Pauli's ultras are leftists, but not when it comes to Palestine apparently. They were harshly criticised by Celtic's The Green Brigade ultras on this in the past few weeks (The Green Brigade, by the way, has recently been banned from the stadium for publicly supporting Palestine during matches. You can read their statement about it here].
St Pauli's ultras recently showed the following banner, clearly stating their own side (only focus on hamas & antisemitism) and sending a message to Celtic fans who criticised them ("from gaza to glasgow"), basically accusing Celtic ultras of being antisemitic.
Tumblr media
to which Celtic's fans replied with this:
Tumblr media
What happened to Anwar El Ghazi's is not surprising when even what are supposed to be some of the most progressive and left-sided fans in germany are failing to show up here. I know zionist propaganda is pretty real in Germany but this is quite distressing to see.

"O Allah, break their might through our actions,
O Allah, lower their flag by our hands,
O Allah, humiliate their leaders through our efforts,
O Allah, shatter their prestige with our endeavours,
O Allah, remove their state through our actions
You were truthful with Allah, and He was truthful with you."
the second banner:
features the insignias of the occupation army brigades "Nahal, Kfir, Givati, and 401", which suffered deadly ambushes and heavy losses during the battles in northern gaza

Hogwarts Thirteenth – Pale Lights Intermission 2024
Fanart for the online book Pale Lights. And Harry Potter, I guess.
One final kid’s themed intermission piece. Made before there’s more than four people in the group (the top banner says it’ll happen).
I had fun trying to update the hairstyles of 11-year-old versions of Thirteenth Brigade into something more modern. Mostly I added bangs. Against all odds, I ignored the big hats. They’d take up too much room, hide character expressions, and I liked the visual joke of Maryam using the hood in the cloak.
Angharad is *that* well-meaning Gryffindor idiot jock. On the plus side everyone will expect her to fail all her wisdom checks, so she’ll probably do great. Most likely to join a quidditch team. In her first year.
Tristan probably tried to trade places with Maryam. Or at least talk her into letting him have a Hufflepuff disguise. Song stopped them, pointing out Maryam probably would not survive wearing Slytherin colours without actually being one.
Maryam could fit into several houses. If not for the tiny little fact that nobody would want a “half-hollow”. And while it would be hilarious for the Hufflepuff house to reject her for not living up to their ideals, they’re foremost known for accepting *everyone*. Yes. Everyone.
Song is still cursed. The real question is if her curse is particularly worse than what is pretty common to happen at least every other year at Hogwarts.
