I've been inhaling flowers since I was a kid. I barely knew my scent then. I still don't know what I actually smell like. Flowers in my lungs, my heart is stuffed with the thorns it had. I never could breathe like others. I wanted to smell sea salt like my neighbor claimed. I once dared to taste it, but instantly slammed back in my own garden. I hated myself for the first time then, for not being able to breathe better. I grew up so did the roots that were planted since I was a child. I could never cut them off completely. But I did some. Still there's this tiny guilt that screams inside my lung for being so cruel to cut off such beautiful flowers that everyone say they'd die to have. But my eyes were already set on the fire breathing dragon, I wanted to be something no one ever even dreamed. I want to breathe fire, let my lungs burn. Oh what an escasty it was! Before I could burn my garden my feet were buried in the soil. And my whole body became ashes of the very dragons I wanted to be a part of. Since then I let myself, forced myself to look after their ashes. So every time the rain threatens to wash them away, I'd grow bigger flowers to protect them. In case someday, I'd be dissolve under the heavy floral scent I so despised to inhale.
