Here's a project I started a while back and only finished recently. This is most likely the last class I'll ever make for dnd, but 14 classes isn't a bad number to end on. I wanted to lean into the concept of a fighting game but a martial class, taking some inspiration from dragon ball in the process! I hope you enjoy!

“Have you come to patronize me?” His voice said as you approached the Statue of the Sea. You raised a brow at the figure standing near the cell’s bars. When he was in the throne room earlier, you could tell he had noticed you, and the magnetic pull of his gaze had brought you here at this moment.
“No,” you replied as you finally came face to face with the man. He was taller than you thought and seemed to hold an aura of darkness and danger. One that had not been there earlier when he had been presented to your queen. He smiled and moved to press his face against the bars. Those darkened eyes watched you closely before they traveled up and down your attire.
“You’ve come to ask me about the Elf,” That was not your intention, but it was a straightforward cover story for the guards.
“Not entirely,” You started, placing your arms behind your back. Your fingers to your left hand clasped around your right wrist as you tried to stand a little taller against his gaze. “But I assume you heard me speaking with the guards.” Halbrand inclined his head with a smile as he leaned against the horizontal bar of the cell.
“Then humor me, my lady,” he started, staring into your eyes. You could not help but feel the warmth filling your face as his eyes watched you. “Why do you want to speak to a common brawler such as myself?”
“You are not just some common brawler,” A hint of something flickered in his eyes but then disappeared slightly.
“Then what am I, Lady y/n, to you at least?” You chewed on the inside of your cheek as you took another step forward.
“A broken man who is hiding a secret.” Halbrand chuckled, and you felt your pulse increase at the gesture as he turned and sat down on the bench. You were attracted to him in his rugged, handsome way. His face was still recovering from his earlier brawl, blood staining his nose and upper lip, just adding to the darkness that seemed to surround him.
“And how would a lady in waiting for Queen Consort Míriel know so much about a man’s character.” You stepped closer, peering into the cell as Halbrand stared at the bars across from him.
“I see many people walk into those halls, and I have learned a lot by watching how people act and present themselves.” You paused. “You are a cocky man, boisterous, and overly confident, but you use it to cover how broken you are. How much you wish to find peace in this world to replace those broken parts of you.” His head turned toward you, and those dark eyes had now softened slightly at seeing you. But they still held an edge of warning.
You were always a good reader of character, and it was why the Queen kept you around. Not to mention, you were adequate with a blade, but she trusted your judgment. This man, though, had taken some time and thought to figure out, though he was still an enigma to you. One that drew you in more each time you thought about him. His hold on your mind and heart clouded you, but after years of loneliness, you were happy to try to find comfort in helping this man.
“What are you offering, my lady?” He spoke in a low voice laced with some sort of acid. “Let me correct myself, what is your queen offering?” You pressed your face against the bars, and a smile filled your lips.
“I’m offering that peace you desperately wish for, a refuge from your tortured past.” Your delicate face was already softening as you saw him stand up and walk over to you.
“And what does your queen wish for in return?” A dark, playful smile filled his lips. “Because one does not offer something like that without getting something in return.”
“My queen did not send me,” You swallowed hard as his hand reached up to cup your chin through the bars. A whimper stifled in your throat as his touch was as cold as a winter’s day. That deep, firey scent engulfed your senses as his dark eyes penetrated your soul. You wished to tell him everything about your past and desire to escape this place. You wanted to travel with him back to Middle Earth and return to a life you knew did not exist anymore. It was the deepest secret you wished to keep, but you wanted to let it be known here and now, underneath this man’s gaze. “I wish nothing in return, Lord Halbrand,”
“But you do,” he breathed against your face, fingers tightening against your chin’s soft, regal skin. “All beings wish for something, little one,” Your toes curled in your shoes, and your eyes closed as he spoke those words. All beings did wish for something, and from the moment you saw him, you hoped for him. That boisterous persona pulled you in, and now you hoped he would grant you at least a chaste kiss. But none came, and his hand dropped from your chin before he stepped away from you.
It felt like a blade had punctured your abdomen by the sudden warmth now returning to your skin. Your eyes opened and saw that he had returned to the bench. His fingers were playing with the charm on his necklace. “I am pleased being in my cage with my thoughts, Lady y/n,” You inclined your head. “It’s probably best for everyone if I stay here.” A smile lifted on his lips. “Good night,”
You turned away from the cell and strode back towards the statue as his words rang in your ears. It’s probably best for everyone if I stay here. What an odd and peculiar thing to say. You thought as you tried to shake the thoughts from your head before exiting back onto the darkened street back to your chambers.

so I haven't touched arknights in like. about a year or so, but it sounds like Crownslayer is a gravel style opp? Which. idk back when I was playing Gravel was still an incredible unit for her ability to be dropped and just stall someone for a bit. and crownslayer having stun and evasion, as well as being able to provide evasion to other units, sounds like a similar style of insane??? idk why people are saying she's bad she sounds bonkers
(tho I might be wrong, like I said I've not touched the game since like Il Sira)
the problem is that people have developed a completely warped idea of what an executor specialist is supposed to look like because texas and yato are not actually good representatives of the subclass.
the game started with gravel and projekt red, and waai fu was added early in year 1. gravel is built to facetank damage with her massive shield and to this day she remains undefeated in that role. red meanwhile is more damage oriented, meant to chip away at medium-threat targets with her s1 or do a bit of crowd control with her s2. waai fu follows this philosophy of having some defensive utility on her s1 (an atk debuff) to let her 1v1 medium-damage priority targets and crowd control utility on s2 (inflicting silence). their damage was never crazy high, their use was in crowd control including plugging leaks, reducing incoming damage through methods like debuffs or just baiting attacks, and taking out priority targets like elite casters or guerilla heralds at a lower cost than throwing a whole dreadnought guard at it.
then phantom released around the first anniversary as the first 6* of the archetype and his skills cover every job that you would previously need separate specialists for. his s1 tanks physical damage, his s2 lets him quickly handle medium-threat targets, and his s3 has crowd control in a large area. phantom on release was genuinely the pinnacle of fast-redeploy specialists because he was all of the other fast-redeploys in one, and you could deploy him twice to boot. despite this he still left reason to use the others instead of him if you really needed a specific bit of utility, and gravel in particular made it so his s1 was rarely actually used because she was just better at it. I consider this a good thing from a game design perspective, but I also believe this created this idea that phantom is (was) the best executor because he has more damage than the other executors, instead of because he's 2-4 utility units in a trenchcoat. phantom is an executor that is two executors.
in year 2 kafka released and she stuck with this idea of chipping away at enemies and doing funny crowd control with her weird range and sleep debuff. in philosophy she's still exactly what executors were originally supposed to be, bringing a new angle to the concept that doesn't clash with what the others were doing. kafka is an executor that is an executor.
skip forward to year 4 and we get texas, who despite everything still retains the shadow of the original spirit of the subclass. she has silence utility, she has the ability to pick off targets, she has crowd control. but it's year 4 and she's a limited operator, so she also deals more damage than all previous executors combined could ever dream of and also hits air with her stuns because we introduced an enemy gimmick where you want anti-air stuns since we last made an executor. her s2 does more single target dps than surtr s3 or so i've been told. texas is really more like a high damage guard cosplaying as an executor.
then only half a year after texas they bring in yato who just straight up does not even have utility, all she does is infinite fucking damage and her crowd control is killing the crowd dead. she's not an executor in the original sense, she's some other thing, like how mountain is a brawler that is not a brawler. but because she and texas released so closely together and both do so much damage, people now think that an executor's job is to deal a lot of damage and that the utility on texas is a bonus instead of part of the original conceit.
and it's this warped idea of executors that crownslayer is being compared to. crownslayer is doing exactly what executors have been doing from the start, namely taking out medium-threat priority targets, reducing incoming damage, and providing crowd-control utility. she's an executor that is an executor, same as phantom, but where phantom combined the at the time existing executors into his kit crownslayer instead looks at the functionality that executors are meant to provide and approaches it from a different angle. obviously I haven't actually used her myself because she just released on CN but on paper she looks incredibly well designed for her job of being an executor

my true (respectful) thoughts of arcane s2
so much of the promotional material promised so much in the way of vi and jinx/powder and their sisterly relationship, but i feel like with the amount of storylines/plotlines they did in this season, it was just too busy to focus on anyone–let alone the two supposed protagonists of the show. i think the best way for me to articulate how i feel about the writing of this show is that it fell flat, lost its heart, and emotional impact of the first season.
i would have been okay with them straying from my personal favourite focus if:
the storylines had been fleshed out better
the decisions the characters made actually made sense
main characters didn't become plot devices (vi)
new additions of the show weren't just plot devices (isha, loris, maddie, etc.)
motivations of characters made sense
characters had even small lines/dialogue to articulate their intentions/ideas
less time spent on off-screen development
and the thing is with the amount of plot lines they were ambitiously aiming to see out to fruition, its really hard to also set up all these new facets or opposing characteristics in former characters–plus adding new ones too. for example:
caitlyn's facist arc that didn't really have much meaning or attention
jinx's s1 mental collapse which changed abruptly into her redemption arc via isha (plot device)
jinx's revolutionist arc (first, reluctantly and then, willingly w ekko)
vi's pitfighter/brawler arc which was literally just one clip (which ended up being a teaser that showed everything)
im almost grateful to the minimal screen time ekko got bc they didn't try to change the core and essence of who he was in s1: he stayed true to himself. he's just a boy with a huge heart and love for his people that chose to leave his happy ending in an alternate timeline to return to the ppl who needed him where he is almost guaranteed heartbreak in some way or another.
i think the main reason so many ppl loved the first season was bc the characters were relatable in one way or another and they became so multidimensional when you explored how their environment/circumstances shaped them. but this season bc it was so purely focused on the endgame instead of HOW everyone got there, the characters fell flatter, they lost a soul and heart, and i felt the show lost its charm.
i know we all have our favourite characters and storylines we want the show to focus on and i would have been okay if i didn't get my way. if the show didn't focus on jinx and vi, i would've lived (although the promotional material was unfairly misleading) if the storylines, characters, and everything else made sense to me.
of course, the animation was lovely and the music was catchy/heartbreaking. i dont regret watching the show out to its final episode. it was one of the most beautiful visual experiences of my entire life. i still love the characters and will never regret staying on board until the final moments.
but i cant lie and say im not a little sad at how it ended too.
edited add-on:
also, the voice actors did phenomenally. ella purnell just absolutely nails the delivery for every line and reed shannon also hurt me with how he portrayed ekko. so on and so forth.
but that being said, i also felt the dialogue and lines of each character felt much less impactful this season (again, writing.)
i liked viktor’s monologue at the end of act 2. that was compellingly well written
but the lines this season weren’t the same quality as silco’s monologue about drowning, jinx’s speech at the beginning of the doomed tea party, etc. everything just felt so flat and shallow this season overall.

LARRY AND LAWRIE HEADCANNONS #2!!
Because holy crap the first one got so much positive attention- (again, headcannons after cut cuz I’m gonna yap for a sec)
Tumblr media
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the first one! It’s my most popular post ever and I’m glad it was so well received. I really hope this is a good follow up! Feel free to let me know if you want more Brawl Stars headcannons going forward cuz I’d be happy to make them.
Anyway it’s finally headcannon time!
Larry focused, Lawrie focused, Both
Tumblr media
• Larry’s favorite music genre is literally elevator music (Lawrie likes rock!)
•Both of them hate the Cops theme song, they think it’s very annoying. Doesn’t help that park guest and other brawlers (*cough* Nita and Leon *cough*) tease them with it
• At first, Lawrie didn’t let Larry have a weapon since “they’re dangerous and you don’t need one” but Larry managed to craft his ticket wheel into an explosive weapon somehow and Lawrie was just too afraid/impressed to not let him have it
•They both live in the park’s security station. Specifically, Larry took an unused storage closet and made it into an actual little bedroom, while Lawrie just sleeps in their office (if they sleep at all)
•Lawrie collects bobble heads. They make him smile
•Larry really likes baking! Not to eat the sweet treats (since he can’t even if he wanted to), but he just loves the process of making them. He often bakes cookies with Pearl
•He has no clue that Pearl is related to the Gold Arm Gang somehow. They’ve seen her with them but it just somehow has never clicked and probably never will
•Lawrie does know, but they just think Pearl is harmless enough. The second any other Gold Arm member even gets close to Larry though, they’re ready to strike
•Larry is a hypochondriac even though he can’t even get sick. Lawrie is kinda similar, but they’re just a neat-freak. Either way, everywhere the two go is getting deep cleaned and disinfected
•Lawrie gets a ton of coloring books for R-T since they see R-T as like a little kid and don’t know what else to get them.
•Larry is really good at engineering, and makes elaborate “mouse trap” like contraptions to try and catch criminals. They also make little mini robots! Those don’t have any consciousness but he treat they like his children all the same
•Lawrie pretends they don’t like the little robots, but they will protect those little guys with their life if they have to
•Lawrie’s idea of “fun” is challenging Larry to little games that test their knowledge on all the parks rules (Don’t worry cuz Larry thinks it’s fun too)
•If you bring it up to them, both Larry and Lawrie the living embodiments of anti-smoking/drinking/gambling ads
•People will often sneak up behind Larry and put stickers on them to poke fun at him. He never notices until Lawrie takes them off. He keeps them in a sticker book because they think it means people like him
•No one puts any stickers on Lawrie because he’s just impossible to sneak up on and will punch someone if they try
•They own a cat! Larry found a little Calico kitten and went annoying little brother mode until Lawrie agreed to keep it
•Lawrie hated the idea of having an animal around, but much like a middle aged dad they’re now the one who spoils the cat the most
Tumblr media
That’s it for now! Hope you liked it and thanks for reading this!! Again, show some love if you’d like more!

Horizon AU: Twin Flames - Aloy, Beta and Elisabet (Zero Dawn Act) final concepts
Tumblr media Tumblr media
*texts' transcriptions under the cut after the images*
Tumblr media
Nora Beta's design was made by me.
Tumblr media
REPOST, EDIT/USE OR FEED MY ART TO AI ISN'T ALLOWED
Read about Isaac, their machine companion [here]
This was... so much work... *falls off* (talking about write all of this story in the past... 5 months omg)
This AU has an ongoing fanfic! You can read on Ao3: [LINK]
Text transcription:
Aloy
172cm/5.6' - 21 years old
In this AU, Aloy is much more aggressive and socially distant than in canon. Although she grew up alongside Beta, so she knows affection and manners. Only Beta and Elisabet know Aloy’s true self: a gremlin, curious, funny, and loving person.
Her aggressive behavior towards other people is a mask and a defense mechanism. She developed such behavior due to how often she had to defend herself and her sister from bullies (and machines too), never allowing herself to lower her guard, also adding how much she internalized the pain from the shunning. Now that she is free to explore the world, she's willing to learn how to manage this behavior with her sister's help to stop fearing the world they want to explore.
Because she's been bottling her negative emotions for such a long time, she has a contained rage she has yet to learn how to use to her advantage. An easy way to trigger her is if Beta gets really hurt (either physically or emotionally).
Beta, her younger sister, is the most important person in her life. Aloy is willing to do anything to ensure her welfare and happiness, even if that means getting herself hurt or worse. Beta is the only person who can get Aloy to speak out her true feelings and thoughts and be a compass to help her how to handle negative emotions better.
Raised on the Nora ways of hunting, Aloy is an excellent hunter in this AU, just like in canon. But here, she’s also a ferocious brawler, and she does not only fight humans in hand-to-hand combat but also small machines. She has an unbelievable resistance to pain, is way more muscular, and is a bit taller than her canon counterpart due to her rather different physical training.
She followed her sister in her curiosity about the Old World, so Aloy started in this AU with much more knowledge about said subject. Just like her sister, she was also indirectly taught by Elisabet herself (through their Focuses) about programming and machines.
Beta
168cm/5.5' - 21 years old (possibly)
In this AU, Beta grew up alongside Aloy as an outcast. She is a skilled fighter and hunter like her sister, much more social and confident than in canon. Although, her confidence ends when she finds herself alone or in a discussion with another person.
Beta had a lot of health issues in her childhood and was way weaker than her sister for a long time. She has always been a scared child, afraid of confrontations face to face with bullies or machines, which led Aloy to protect her all the time they were away from Rost. Her dependence on her sister to protect her always bothered her, as she never liked to see her sister getting hurt, especially on her behalf. Now that she is free to explore the world, she wants her sister’s help to become strong and overcome her fears from childhood. She wants to fight by her sister’s side, not behind her anymore.
She enters a state of silent panic when under unbearable stress, becoming just as aggressive and violent as her sister normally is. The easier way to trigger this behavior is if she sees Aloy in a life-and-death situation.
Aloy, her older sister, is the most important person in her life. Beta is willing to do anything to ensure her sister’s welfare and happiness, even if that means getting herself hurt or worse. Aloy is the only person who can talk some courage and confidence to Beta. She’s also the only person Beta trusts for her safety, allowing her to let her curiosity go wild, especially when it comes to studying machines.
Beta was raised in the Nora ways of hunting, even if a bit later than her sister. But because of her said above issues, she developed a more stealthy and trapper way of fighting. She’s weak to pain and will always try to keep her distance from her target(s).
When she met Aloy, she was out of memories, not remembering how she got into the underground bunker. She’s not even sure if “Beta” is her name, but she did have some knowledge about the Old World. The only thing she’s sure about is that bad people are searching for her out there.
Elisabet Sobeck
168cm/5.5' - Mid to late 40s
In this alternative universe, Elisabet is being kept alive in a cryosleep state by the Zeniths for a reason she has yet to find out. She can communicate with Aloy and Beta using a holo-avatar through their Focuses because of the “vivid dream state” her unconscious mind is in. Her holo-avatar has two forms: an orange jaybird and her real self.
Although, because of her frozen slumbering state, she can’t recall all of her memories. But she’s slowly being “defrosted,” and it’s a matter of time until she can remember everything. For now, the rising danger called HADES and things related to the Old World and Machines only give her some feeling of familiarity or some random information(s).
Elisabet has been in contact with Aloy and Beta since they got their Focuses when they were kids, but she could only directly communicate recently. She has acted as an omnipresent guardian, watching the sisters and helping them by controlling their Focuses when necessary. She taught them about basic programming and machines that way.
She has an unexplainable motherly care for Aloy and Beta, which makes her (and the sisters) believe she's their mother- aside from the extreme visual similarity. She doesn't remember how she became a mother yet, but she'll do everything she can to help and protect her daughters.

(adding to your star dress post) i love lucy doing summons bcuz yeah in the “power of friendship” anime, lucy’s magic power is Literally Friendship. its how we see the more complex side of certain zodiacs too (ex: aquarius, loke, celestial spirit king). its how she gets non-spirits to open up (juvia, cana, yukino, etc) i never needed her to become another brawler to be important
sorry I meant to answer earlier but the draft to my first response, like, disappeared for some reason so I had to rewrite everything~
Tumblr media
YOU’RE COMPLETELY RIGHT❕
Lucy may have been a bit of a damsel in distress, but for once that’s almost forgivable because she has a plethora of friends who are ready to fight for her and with her. And it’s not just about her needing to be saved, it’s about the complete trust that they have in one another.
Side note, my least favourite parts are when Lucy is actually in distress, because it feels like Mashima is trying to get anyone to save her but her spirits (especially Natsu. He could fully be passed out, but he’ll wake up just in time to stop a fatal blast. *lazy jazz hands* How romantic). But I digress…
My point being that Lucy is fun because she actually feels like a refreshed, modern take on the damsel in distress. Because she’s not just a waiting to be saved (or, well, she shouldn’t be, but Mashima has trouble keeping his own characters in character), she is smart, reliable and very good at getting people to trust her. And she can choose how she wants to be ‘saved’ and by whom— how cool is that?? Also, despite not being a protector herself, she’s a natural at making the people around her feel safe.
Which is why it hurts so much that her character has basically been rewritten. I don’t have a problem with her being able to fight better, but that doesn’t mean she should want to fight on her own. Her wanting to have the power to protect her friends doesn’t feel like her character has evolved, it actually feels more like she’s devolved. Lucy was the one characters who didn’t need to be powerful in order to protect her friends.
Should her magic power be growing? Absolutely. But not at the expense of her growth as a celestial wizard and certainly not by sacrificing her celestial spirits’ relevance.

I found this in my notes app and realized I never reposted this on my current blog! I wrote this while RWBY V9 was airing, between episode 7 and 8 in response to this post by @actualbampot. I like it, so I figured I'd go ahead an post it again!
_____
It was strange being back at Beacon after three years. Even stranger to think about how, if the Fall had never happened, they'd be ending their final year of school within the next month or so. It'd been some time since Weiss had imagined that particular scenario though. And yet here they were; the four of them, back in their old dorm room.
It was exactly as they'd left it that last morning, before the final match of the Vytal Tournament. Before they'd lost Penny and Pyrrha. Before the First Battle of Beacon. Before everything went wrong.
Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust. All of their old things exactly where they'd been; Blake's books still on the shelf, Yang's posters plastered across the walls, Ruby's game controllers discarded on the floor, several of Weiss' text books laid out on the desk.
Weiss glanced over at Blake and Yang, sitting together on the faunus' old bed. Ruby had opened the window, sitting down on the sill, one leg lifted up with her arm propped on her knee, the other leg dangling outside as she stared off at Vale in the distance. The fires had been put out days ago, and already people were coming together to rebuild the kingdom.
With Salem put to rest at last, the Creatures of Grimm eradicated, and the Gods of Light and Darkness gone for good, there was finally hope for a future. Humans and Faunus were moving forward together, rebuilding everything that had been lost. And beyond that, with no Grimm, new settlements could be established. No more hiding behind walls. Unfortunately for Team RWBY, today was also the last time they'd all be together for quite some time.
With reconstruction underway, all of the Heroes of Remnant (as they were apparently being called now) would be going to different parts of the world to offer aid. Ren, Nora, and Oscar had left earlier in the week, headed east to Anima. They'd taken Jaune's armor and weapon with them, to return to his family. Emerald and Neo had elected to stay in Vale and help out there, while Yang and Blake were leaving later that evening to go to Menagerie. Meanwhile, Weiss would be going to Vacuo to reunite with her family and help establish an actual settlement for the refugees from Atlas and Mantle.
Ruby hadn't told them where she was going yet; Weiss suspected she wasn't sure what she wanted to do yet. Which was fine, honestly the younger girl deserved to have a break. Maybe she'd stay on Patch with her father for awhile. It would be good for her.
A beep from Yang's scroll roused Weiss from her musing. Glancing at the blonde brawler, she found her reading a text, Blake leaning against her side. "Dad's waiting down at the docks to see us off," Yang announced. As the BY duo stood up, Weiss noticed from the corner of her eye how Ruby ducked her head.
She didn't have much time to think on it as she found herself pulled between the newly married couple, into a tight hug. Weiss wrapped her arms around both of them, burying her head into their shoulders. "I'm gonna miss you guys," she murmured.
"Don't worry, it'll only be a few months before we're together again," Blake replied, giving the former heiress a squeeze as she butted their heads together affectionately.
"Yeah, cheer up Weisscream! You'll see us again before you have time to miss us," Yang added, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead.
"I doubt that," Weiss said, giving them a watery smile as the three of them separated.
Yang turned as Ruby approached, pulling her little sister into a crushing hug that Ruby returned just as tight. "I'll miss you little sis," Yang whispered, kissing the side of Ruby's head.
"I love you Yang," Ruby replied, voice muffled against her sister's shoulder.
"I love you too." Pulling away, Yang cupped Ruby's cheek briefly before she moved over for Blake, who immediately pulled Ruby into another hug.
Ruby laughed softly, curling her arms around the older girl's waist. "Look after Yang for me, will you? We both know what a disaster she is," the leader joked, shooting her sister a teasing look over Blake's shoulder.
Yang very maturely poked her tongue out at her as the other three giggled. "Of course I will," Blake replied, leaning away.
"Good," Ruby said, looking away briefly before meeting Blake's eyes. "I love you Blake. I'm happy to call you my sister."
Blake's lip wobbled, tears gathering at the corners of her eyes. "I love you too sis."
Yang smiled, taking Blake's hand in her own and tugging her toward the door. "C'mon ya softie," she teased, stopping briefly to shoot a look back at the other two. "Bye guys, we'll see ya later." For a moment, her eyes locked with silver, a sadness that Weiss didn't understand appearing in those lilac eyes.
As the Bumbleby duo left, Weiss turned to her partner. "I know it'll only be a few months, but... a part of me can't help thinking of the last time we were separated at this school. About how I thought I'd never see you three again."
A frown tugged at Ruby's lips as she crossed her arms, turning to Weiss. "You'll see them again Weiss," she said with conviction, absolutely certain of that fact.
The ex-heiress looked up into those silver eyes, still not used to how much taller than her the younger girl was now. "I know."
Ducking her head, Ruby's tongue darted out to wet her lips. Almost as if she were steeling herself to say something important. After a moment, a soft sigh escaped her. "But you won't be seeing me again."
Weiss stiffened, eyes narrowing. "What do you mean? Where are you going?" As she took a step closer, Ruby took one back.
"I don't know. I just know that... I'm done here." Finally, she raised her head, meeting Weiss' gaze with a small, content smile. "I've fulfilled my purpose, finished my journey." Her smile widened, eyes glossy with unshed tears. "And it feels good!"
Weiss stared back at her, mind running a thousand miles a second as realization settled in. After Ruby had run away in the Ever After she had been gone for days. Days that WBY and Jaune had spent looking for her everywhere. Until finally she came back, Neo with her, no longer trying to kill them.
There had been something different about Ruby after that. A sort of calm focus, as if she was certain of who she was and what she was meant to do for the first time since Beacon fell. Weiss should have realized that Ruby had experienced the same sort of Rebirth that the Afterans did, but she'd just been so happy to have her best friend back that she'd ignored the signs.
But now she understood. Ruby Rose had died and been reborn in the Ever After. Reborn with the purpose of saving Remnant. A purpose that she'd finally fulfilled.
Inhaling shakily, Weiss gave her partner a teary smile before pulling her into a hug. "I'm... I'm happy for you," she whispered, taking comfort in the warm embrace of her first friend, her best friend, for what she knew would be the final time.
As they pulled apart, Weiss subtly wiped a tear from her face, clearing her throat. Ruby laughed softly, shaking her head. "So what will you do next? Today's the first day of the rest of your life Weiss."
Weiss took a step back, fidgeting with her hands as she took a moment to think it over. "Well, you know I always imagined that I'd one day take over the Schnee Dust Company, turn it back into the company my grandfather wanted it to be." She paused, considering that old dream, knowing that wasn't the future she wanted anymore.
Ruby seemed to understand, her head tilting curiously, a knowing smile on her face. "And now?"
A smile slowly curled Weiss' lips as she bounced on her heels. "Now... I think I wanna keep moving. Go anywhere, everywhere!" There was an excitement to her voice as she began to pace back and forth under Ruby's watchful gaze. "There's so many people who need help and I want to help as many as I can!" She let out a laugh, running a hand through her freshly cut hair. "Brothers, I can't believe I'm saying this! It sounds so exhausting but-" Turning back to face Ruby, she froze, the smile dropping from her face.
Her partner was gone. As if she'd never been there at all.
Weiss looked around, whirling in place to look at every corner of the room. There was no sign of her.
Slowly, Weiss' shoulders slumped. With a sigh, she moved to leave, pausing in the doorway. Giving one last glance over her shoulder, she took in their old dorm room for the last time, her eyes landing on Ruby's dangling bed last.
"Goodbye Ruby," she murmured softly, reaching over to flick off the light switch. "You won't be forgotten." Gently, Weiss Schnee closed the door and walked away.

Since I'm seeing peeps share their thoughts, I might do the same too.
Imma be real here, 2024 sucked. It sucked hard for me, probably up there along with 2009 as the worst year for me and it all stemmed from what happened in March. Won't go into it because I already did so and I'd much rather not relive is and just move on from it.
But, this year was insanely stressful and honestly there were times where I was actually considering nuking everything and just leaving.
However, you wanna know why I'm still here? You wanna know why I'm still kicking around not only on here, but even on Discord as well?
You
All of you are why I'm still here. All of you are the reason why I still come on here and why I still wanna do what I've been doing. And you wanna know the big kicker?
2025 will mark this blog's 10th anniversary. Yes, I've had this blog for almost 10 years at this point. And I'm hoping for another 10 more of hijinks, shenanigans, and more. This blog has gone through a lot of changes from how I portray my Ryuko to adding a new muse on here, and even having my muse in plenty more relationships while also keeping the ones I've held dearly (i.e. Ice Fibers (Ryuko/Weiss) and now adding Ryuko/Vaggie into that as well)
So, thank you. Thank you all for helping me through this godawful year.
And let's do some shoutouts, shall we~?
Shoutouts to:
@shiningxfates, @wintershub, @cauchemarrose, @symbioteburnout, @metaladam, @passionlead, @determination-personified, @rockingmusician, @thebrainsandbrawn, @linklewinklewoman, @bunny-brawler, @captainseamech, @cxffeeshxp, @hashtag-bitch, @vindicta-reliquiae, @cleverxgirl, @rinnysmuses, @box0pals, @phenomenally-skilled, @pinklocksoflove, @mxuntainsidemuses, @belovedblossoms, @dekadentherzensteigen, @kronya-blade, @hifimuses, @withdiscretion, @cynthiaandsamus, @xanican-exile, @sylseal, @temperseraph, @metalsinpile, @siren-euphemia, @damagecompilation, @hospitalstay, @murdxrxfcrxws, @twopieceworld, @icecreaminanumbrella
and many more on here and on Discord. So, even if you weren't mentioned on here, don't think I don't love ya any less. All of ya are amazing. ♥ ♥ ♥

Ever since Weiss' ass grew three times that day, she has been going away for "training" with Pyrrha and Jaune. However, it was game night and Ruby definitely didn't want her BFF to miss out. The girls of team RWBY might have to fetch Weiss from her sessions.
Ruby could feel herself pouting as she stared at Weiss's empty bunk. Since Yang used that weird bootleg boombox to tease Weiss, the snow-haired Huntress practically spent every waking moment she could with Jaune and Pyrrha. Leaving the little reaper and their friends in the dark to constantly train her body to better handle her ever-growing backside. ...I know she needs it, especially with how massive she's grown... Oooh, I just wish I hadn't sneezed on my first day...
Ruby's thoughts were fuelled by missing her galpal and frustration at the idea of cancelling team RWBY's Faries and Fantasies campaign. Ruby didn't want to throw out her home-brew campaign before she could even run it. The campaign idea was full of tension, comedy, action, and romance! The petite huntress was not going to throw out all her imaginative efforts and wanted to bond with all three of her teammates. Ruby threw herself out of her bed and struck a dramatic pose. "Okay, team! We have to go get Weiss! She has been training way too much with Jaune and Pyrrha!! Her training is preventing us from enjoying Faries and Fantasies! So, let's go save Game Night!!!"
"Yeah! I miss teasing Weisscream. Vomitboy and Pyr-Pyr shouldn't be able to hog her all to themselves." Yang added with a smile. "How else can I get her to judge all my wisecracks?" the blonde brawler looked to Ruby and Blake and did tiny finger guns. "Y'know... because she's an expert on big cracks!"
Blake just rolled her eyes at the awful pun and threw a pillow at the golden blonde. "You're awful!" The faunus stretched as she moved to join her other team members. "But you're right, Ruby; Weiss has been training too much. She hasn't even started on her part of the Grimm Ecology report for Prof. Port, and we haven't been able to practice our team combo moves in almost a week. If we can't show Miss Goodwitch any kind of improvement, she'll ban us from going out on away missions."
Ruby nodded, smacking a fist into her open palm. "To JNPR's dorm room to get our bestie back! For Faries and Fantasies!!!" The little reaper practically exploded out into the hall, Petal Bursting toward their friend's dorm room.
Weiss was in paradise. Right now, in her mind, there were no Grimm, no war on Remnant, not even the vile weasel she called father existed to the heiress. Only two things existed to Weiss Schnee, and they were her Mommy and Daddy. She loved them both with all of her heart and adored them for showering her with attention.
"Would you look at that? Even after becoming wider than every door in Beacon, our angel is still just so flexible." Pyrrha purred as she folded Weiss in half, hooking the blonde into a special harness. The redhead showered the snow-haired Huntress with kisses, pulling mewls and moans from Weiss as she drifted lower and lower down her body. Pyrrha came to a stop at Weiss's sopping wet cunt. "What does our angel want? Does she want Mommy to slurp all over her pretty little pussy?" Pyrrha asked as she kissed up the heiress's thigh, stopping just short of eating Weiss out.
Weiss tried to find her voice, but any word she was going to say melted into a wordless moan as Daddy whipped a hand against her dominating derriere. Feeling his aura surge into her turned her mind to mush as she tried to buck her hips and plant her pussy onto Mommy's face.
"I know!" Jaune rumbled into her ear as he groped and squeezed at every inch of her perfected body. "Our angel has trained hard, and it has become truly perfect." His voice echoed through Weiss and left the pleasure-drunk Huntress a trembling, whimpering mess. "I think our angel wants Mommy to eat her out, to kiss her better." Jaune teasingly said as he stared into Weiss's vacant stare and bucking hips. "I'd say she deserves a reward for working so hard."
Weiss squealed and let out ecstatic screams of bliss as she felt Mommy's lips against her pussy as Daddy drove his big, fat, throbbing cock deep into her ass. Her mind was warm and fuzzy as euphoria and nirvana exploded through her over and over again. She tried to remember her training, rhythmically tightening her muscles to massage and milk Daddy's cock as she tried to resist gushing and squirting all over Mommy and her expert tongue. Her eyes slowly grew vacant as she started to drool all over herself as she focused on impressing her Mommy and Daddy. Weiss had no need for respect or dignity when she was wrapped up in the arms of the people she loved and cherished more than anything in the whole world.
KA-SLAM!!!!!
Jaune, Pyrrha, and Weiss froze up as they watched the door to the JNPR dorm explode open. The shock and surprise of seeing the rest of Team RWBY in their doorway was enough to push the trio into orgasm.
"Jaune! Pyrrha! We demand you give back Wei-AHHH FILTH! FIIIILTH!!!" Ruby yelped out as she collapsed to the floor covering her eyes.
Yang tried to think of something, anything to say as she caught VB, Pyr-Pyr, and Weisscream fucking. But her mind just... froze up as she saw the ecstasy on their faces before they turned to see them.
"Can I watch?" Blake bluntly asked as she plopped down onto Jaune's bed. "I could totally use this in my next Ninjas of Love smutfic!"
Jaune wrapped Weiss, Pyrrha, and himself in a blanket as Paladin and Spartan went completely red in the face. "Why are you all here?! Y-Yang, stop staring! And n-no you can't watch!" The blond shouted, entirely embarrassed at suddenly having an audience.
"Team RWBY was gonna have its game night tonight." Blake answered. "And Ruby wanted Weiss to be there for a game of Faries and Fantasies... Are you sure I can't watch? Like, not even just a little?"
"GET OUT!!!" Pyrrha screamed, hiding her absolutely red face in Jaune's chest.

in mourning tat my saturday ritual is over so dropping by to share random lore about the current lol/lor version of Vi (shes pathetic) to cope further:
genuinely kind of a fucking loser LMFAO. she has a dig she makes at jayce being a lab rat in the cardgame, and he basically just counters being like "WOW YOU FINALLY GOT A FUCKING JOB HUH"
theres a little yordle dude, veteran investigator, in lor whose lines basically indicate that one of his job roles is "try to get vi to actually do her work and keep her out of trouble". he literally threatens to report her to caitlyn if she keeps fucking around and vi is just like 'but sheriff cupcake cant be mad at me!!!' in that 'im just a little guy' tone
she immediately gets mad when another enforcer card is like "i have orders for you from the sheriff". god forbid her girlfriend make her actually do her job
one of her 'entering the field' lines in lor is from league ("im doing this my way"). cait, if on the field already, responds with the most exasperated "WE are doing this OUR way" like. she is sooo over her shit
any time jinx is played on either enemy or ally side, she gets so angry its so funny. shes so pissed her sister is there she is sooo annoyed. patrol warden is another enforcer card (where jinx has clearly vandalized their splash art) and when they tell vi there's been a vandalism at the docks, shes SO MAD because its jinx ("WHY THAT LITTLE-").
to say nothing of her "EVERYTHING REMINDS ME OF HERRR (eats cupcakes on the ground sobbing)" joke line they added in her brawler skin in lol. she is such a fucking loser. my god
like, modern Game Vi has the exact same energy as "your lesbian friend's loser GF who she very graciously gets a job at the same place as her, except now half of her time is spent trying to keep her GF from getting fired." she has all the energy of 'im just here bc my gf is here and sometimes i get to punch bad guys.' its such a funny direction for her that shes absolutely not good at anything besides the punching part of her job (and the repariing hextech per her old lore, but thats it). im coping so hard right now im coping im coping i love Vi LegOfLeg
This is so funny, I love all of this. Arcane Vi is such a lightning rod for torture and despair which is certainly entertaining in its own way but this also seems like such her vibe. She deserves to be a hot slacker trophy butch for Caitlyn that everyone else puts up with and/or mildly resents bc of the obvious favoritism going on
Also "WE are doing this OUR way" is so fucking funny.

Just gonna drop this one off here. We can all agree Hazbin and Helluva are dropping balls and fumbling bags left and right.
So, I’m gonna recommend a few GOOD series that discuss life, death, and religion.
1. Dead Like Me. It’s an early 2000s show about George Lass, an 18 year old woman who’s life was cut short when she died on her first day of the job. No longer a part of the living, George gets a new job, reaping souls before they die and helping them pass on. It’s admittedly dated, but much better at handling it’s more progressive themes than Vivziepop. The soundtrack and fashion is pleasing aesthetically. And as for writing, there are some things left to be desired, but its still incredibly ambitious with an amazing cast of characters. Lots of nuance. DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE. Also, if you like Hannibal, this was created by the same guy.
2. Good Omens. You’re on Tumblr, you’ve probably heard of it, so I’ll keep it short. It’s essentially The Omen, with a twist to it. Due to a series is mix-em-ups on the day he was born, the AntiChrist was mistakingly raised by a normal, loving family. Having had a rather not-so-complicated friendship since the creation of man, a demon and angel must team up to stop the end of the world as we know it. Taking the well know Omen story, and adding its own humorous twist to it alone makes the story fun. But it’s also fascinating seeing the representations of angels, demons, and horsemen alike. The overall take on religion was fun in and of itself. It was also a book.
3. Hellboy. During WWII, the Nazis opened a portal. A baby came from that portal. That baby was Hellboy (yes, that’s his name.) Hellboy was raised by the US government organization BPRD (The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense). He’s supposed to bring about the end of days, but HB is a brawler with a heart of gold and a hand of rock. And maybe a taste for alcohol. The series hosts a ton of fascinating characters, with all sorts of different backgrounds, lore, and species. There are many cues takes from world mythology, Abrahamic religion, and even H.P. Lovecraft. It’s mainly a comic franchise. The first two movies were great. There’s also a mini comic series called ‘Itty Bitty Hellboy’ that’s cute.
Never watched those before, but I'm sure those did them better than Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss (It's not hard) I might check those out!
