Something warm wraps around her middle and pulls her back down into the mattress. “It’s just the wind,” a deep voice murmurs in her ear. “No need to damage the room.”

Bloom reaches for it, and finds herself with a fist full of a satiny material. Too nice to be the bedsheets. “No…has to stop…”

The pillow in her back shifts like it's chuckling. “Don’t ruin the moment, sweetheart. Go back to sleep.”

Some of the tears start to drip from her eyes. It makes her head hurt, and Bloom has a sudden flash of sitting in this very room, drinking. “Nightmares. I can’t.”

“They’re just dreams,” the voice insists, “They won’t hurt you. Do you want my help to get rid of them?”

“Yes.”

There’s a light chiming sound of a spell activating. Bloom’s muscles suddenly feel heavy, fog settling over her mind once again. “I…I did something horrible,” she murmurs, turning her head towards the voice. She doesn’t know why she’s saying it; with the spell washing over her and her own exhaustion she can barely remember what it is.

She’s rewarded with a featherlight kiss. “I know. Go back to sleep, Bloom.”

Top 5 best manga/manhua/manhwa I've read this year

This was the year of pretty artstyles

1. A bride's story

- One of my favorite anthology-like stories. Each story was a delight and an experience with no bad or uninteresting dynamics. I love the proper integration and representation of culture and history. And the beautiful artstyle, omg.

2. Mother's Contract Marriage

- another absolutely gorgeous artstyle, although it had be taken aback at first. One of the most lovable children in a manhua whose maturity and childishness is very well realistic according to her circumstances. A lovely read.

3. Miss not-so-sidekick

- I have reread this gem multiple times only THIS year and I know I'll be rereading it a lot more in the years to come. A great take on someone reincarnating as a side character and one of the most humorous reads ever. I love the main character more than life itself.

4. The fragrant flower blooms with dignity

- the most adorable romance manga I have read this year. AND the most adorable found family manga I've read this year. AND ALSO the most adorable coming of age manga I've read this year. Need I say more?

5. Toilet bound Hanako-kun

- a reread that ABSOLUTELY needed to make a cameo as it is one of my best reads of this year. AND because mitsukou canon is my biggest event of 2023. Overall, no matter how much I read it, it's as good and hype as the first time!

okay — so, i have talked about how blamore has plants inside of his ribs before, but not WHAT plants are inside of there... so i'm nlw going to introduce you to a few of the different ones that are now a part of him in that area. the first flowers on the far left are known as stargazer lilies.

these are perennial's and only bloom once a year + the middle picture contains wild basil, which is rather cold tolerant and thus, also a perennial. the picture on the far right is actually a type of shrub called a purple smoke bush and is deciduous, so it has leaves that fall off yearly.

these are currently the only plants i have set in stone for his rib area, but i will introduce more later once i figure out what else i want to integrate into its character that way.

but just to give y'all a little extra tidbit of information that only people such as it's lovers and perhaps doctor's would normally know...

it has these plants called coleus leaves, specifically of the 'heartbreaker' variety, lined across it's hips:
