Was in London for the weekend and took my bf to Bone Daddies without telling him why until after we sat down.

He made fun of me the appropriate amount.

Can confirm dnp have good taste. New fave ramen place. I am very sad I can't get it whenever I want.

OJT EATS | Bone Daddies

It's post-Christmas shopping season and so for those people that don't like to do all of their shopping online, it's out to the shopping streets of London. In order to have the energy to fight through the crowds, we headed into Bone Daddies for a hearty bowl of ramen.

Before we tucked into the ramen, we had some karaage. It was a pretty generous portion and the chicken itself was really well fried. The chicken was crispy, juicy and not greasy at all. With a squeeze of lemon and a dip into the yuzu kosho mayo, this was an excellent start to the meal.

Now onto the ramen. This bowl was the OG Tonkotsu with chashu pork belly, burnt garlic oil and half a soy egg. The egg was perfectly cooked with a lovely jammy yolk, the noodles had a great bite to them and the pork belly was full of flavour - a really nice bowl of ramen!

The other bowl we had was the yuzu tonkotsu. Rather than having chashu pork, it had fried pork belly instead which was a nice meaty touch. There was a distinct but not super strong yuzu flavour throughout the whole bowl and that egg was just as well cooked as in the OG.

All in all, this was the perfect bit of fuel to tackle the madness that is post-Christmas shopping. The noodles were bouncy and the broth warming and the fillings pretty hearty. While there are probably better ramen places out there, there was no wait for a table and it was good enough to hit the spot for what we were looking for; that's a win in our books!

The hill I will die on is that Emmrich is assertive to sassy Rook when he's had enough of the teasing and and flirting and pushing his buttons.

And he will most definitley pin Rook against the nearest surface in private and say things like "Such a wicked thing you are. Whatever shall I do with you?"

Then proceed to absolutely drive Rook mad because he would 100% use his knowledge of anatomy to know where to touch and press without ever giving Rook what they want until Rook is a breathless mess and when they inevitably make some noise or say his name he pulls back to observe his work and say something like,

"Yes, dear one? Use your words."
