Dick finds out he's a dad
Dick Grayson stood in the shadows of the Batcave, staring at the hologram projected before him. Bruce had insisted on the DNA test. The results glowed in neon green: 99.99% paternity match.
“You’re telling me this kid is mine?” Dick asked, his voice low, almost incredulous.
“Not just any kid,” Bruce replied, his gravelly tone giving little away. “He’s Danny Fenton—better known as Danny Phantom. The half-ghost.”
Dick blinked. “Wait, ghost?”
Bruce turned, a flicker of something—concern?—crossing his usually stoic face. “He’s... unique. His DNA shows ectoplasmic anomalies. He was raised by ghost hunters in Amity Park, but his mother—Maddie Fenton—was someone you met when you court if owls took you. ”
The memories flooded back. Maddie had been a fiery, brilliant scientist volunteering for a physics exhibit. They’d shared a whirlwind romance that ended as quickly as it began. Dick never imagined their brief connection had left something behind.
Before Dick could process the revelation, a low hum echoed through the cave. The Zeta Tube activated, and a figure stepped through.
Danny Phantom floated inches above the ground, his snow-white hair and glowing green eyes standing out starkly against the Batcave's darkness. He looked like he’d been fighting ghosts—or worse. His suit was torn, and green ectoplasm dripped from his knuckles.
“Okay,” Danny started, his voice tinged with frustration. “Who the heck are you, and why did you call me here?” His gaze shifted to Dick, narrowing slightly. “And why do you look like a younger version of Batman?”
Dick stepped forward, hands raised in a gesture of peace. “I’m... Dick Grayson. Nightwing. And, uh, apparently, your father.”
Danny froze mid-air, his glowing eyes flickering. “What? No. That’s not—my dad’s Jack Fenton. Big, loud guy, bad with tools. Mom never mentioned you.”
Bruce interjected, his deep voice cutting through the tension. “Maddie likely kept it a secret. But the DNA doesnt lie.”
Danny’s laughter was bitter, almost hollow. “So, what, you’re telling me my whole life’s been a lie? Oh, and by the way, I’m half-dead and apparently the son of a superhero? Great. Just great.”
“I know it’s a lot,” Dick said gently. “But you’re not alone in this. I want to help.”
Danny’s gaze softened, but only slightly. “Help? You think you can just waltz in and play dad? I’ve been fighting ghosts and saving the world since I was fourteen. I don’t need another parent.”
“I’m not trying to replace anyone,” Dick replied, stepping closer. “But if you’re in trouble—if you need someone to back you up—I’m here.”
Danny hovered for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a weary sigh, he landed, his boots touching the cave floor. “Fine. But if you try to lecture me about curfews or ghost powers, I’m out.”
Dick chuckled, relieved. “Deal.”
From the shadows, Bruce watched the exchange, his lips twitching into the faintest hint of a smile. Danny Phantom, the half-ghost hero, had found something he didn’t know he needed:

Tonight let's not speak of strength, let us instead just confess plainly and honestly how we go weak on our knees at the sheer thought of each other and how our wandering hands go to secret regions of our bodies just to feel what gross changes that heat wave brings across our being..

AKESHU CHILD GENDER POLL RESULTS OVER!
You know, I had a feeling it would be "Girl", and I don't blame the majority, because two dads with a baby girl is so wholesome, I'm on team "girl", also.
also, I feel bad for not including a "Trplets", option. I think I was considering it, but didn't for some reason.
I was so excited to see the results, so thank you all once again for participating..
Now I can share the list of Akeshu Child names!

What if even Death Valley gets too hot? - Vox
It sounds pretty strange that Death Valley might soon become too hot to open for visitors...
But, the hottest place on Earth keeps hitting record temps every year now!
What's worse is that these high temps are spreading outside of the area!!
This kind of heat is a well known killer of normal folk like you or me...
Every year, the high temps basically smother many, mostly poor people.
And, that's in places that are usually far from Death Valley - where you can literally cook to death...
It's high time that Big Oil pays for the deadly side effects of their main product - gasoline.
Or, stops pumping it - something that's quite impossible for them to contemplate!
So, expect worse heatwaves, more deaths - human, plant & animal!!
Hopefully, some of the scientific work been done, will find a non-polluting answer to our most 'suicidal' problem.
End.

Father-Son Bonding Time
Masterpost
The Batmobile roared to life, its engine purring like a caged predator. Dick sat behind the wheel, his usual cocky grin plastered across his face. Beside him, Danny slouched in the passenger seat, arms crossed, looking less than thrilled.
“This is what you call bonding time?” Danny asked, glancing at the flashing console. “A joyride in the Batmobile?”
Dick smirked. “You’re not impressed? This thing’s state-of-the-art! Rockets, stealth mode, ejector seats—”
“Yeah, yeah, it’s cool,” Danny interrupted, rolling his glowing green eyes. “But I can fly, remember? Pretty sure I’m faster than this hunk of metal.”
“First of all,” Dick replied, mock offense in his tone, “this is not just a hunk of metal. It’s a masterpiece. Second—race me and find out.”
Danny raised an eyebrow. “You serious?”
“Absolutely.”
Before Danny could respond, the Batmobile shot forward, tires screeching. Danny blinked, then smirked. With a flash of white light, he transformed into Danny Phantom and phased out of the car.
The Gotham skyline blurred past as Dick and Danny raced through the city. Danny zipped between skyscrapers, laughing as he easily kept pace. “Come on, old man! Is that all you’ve got?”
“Old man?” Dick scoffed, hitting a switch. The Batmobile fired a grappling hook that latched onto a passing monorail. “Let’s see you keep up now!”
Danny snorted, his voice echoing through the comms. “Cute trick, Dad. But I’ve got one too.” He vanished mid-air, reappearing just inches from the Batmobile’s hood, flying backward with his arms crossed.
Dick’s jaw dropped. “Okay, that’s cheating.”
“You didn’t say no ghost powers,” Danny shot back, grinning.
Their banter was cut short as a sudden explosion rocked the street ahead. A plume of green smoke rose into the air, and from the chaos emerged a familiar figure: Skulker, the self-proclaimed ghost hunter, armed to the teeth with ectoplasmic weapons.
“Danny Phantom,” Skulker growled, his mechanical armor gleaming in the city lights. “And... Nightwing? What, you’re bringing backup now?”
“More like family,” Dick quipped, leaping from the Batmobile. He twirled his escrima sticks, the electric crackle echoing in the night. “And we’re not big on visitors.”
Danny rolled his eyes but smirked. “This guy again. Don’t worry, Dad—I’ve got him.”
Before Dick could respond, Danny shot forward, ectoplasmic blasts flying from his hands. Skulker retaliated with a barrage of missiles, forcing Danny to phase through them. Meanwhile, Dick darted into the fray, disarming one of Skulker’s shoulder cannons with a well-aimed throw.
“Nice shot!” Danny called out.
“Teamwork, kid!” Dick replied, flipping over Skulker’s sweeping arm.
The fight was fast-paced and chaotic, but together, they overwhelmed Skulker. Danny’s raw power complemented Dick’s agility and strategy. Within minutes, the ghost hunter was subdued, bound in glowing ecto-restraints Danny conjured.
As the dust settled, Danny turned to Dick, breathing heavily but grinning. “Not bad for a ‘hunk of metal.’”
“Not bad for a glow stick,” Dick shot back, ruffling Danny’s snow-white hair.
Danny groaned but didn’t pull away. “Seriously, though. That was... kind of fun.”
“Kind of?” Dick teased. “Come on, you loved it.”
“Okay, fine, maybe a little.”
They shared a laugh, and for the first time, Danny felt the weight of his new reality lighten. Maybe having a superhero dad wouldn’t be so bad after all.
From a rooftop above, Bruce watched the pair with quiet satisfaction. He turned back into the shadows, leaving them to their moment.

Grace: All right, Doctor… I'm here. But don't think wearing this butterfly means I'm happy.
Sofia Lamb: Grace. I know you all too well. Want of child defines you. But biological loyalty turns us against the rest of the world, whom we ought to love in equal measure. Your poverty is testament to that… but your voice inspires the people. I am asking you to join a much larger family. Though your body failed you… you shall live on in us.
