i think the time agency is underused (like, beyond jack). there should be a big finish series. or a spinoff instead of that gahdamn unit idea. although apparently they feature heavily in a recent set of twelve audio adventures so i’ve gotta check that out at some point (mildly afraid it’ll be disappointing and i love twelve too much to allow a bunch of audios with an impressionist voice actor to ruin it for me)

anyway. more time agents! what do their missions entail. how do their assignments and tasks clash or conflict with the CIA or Division’s. did they invent retcon the torchwood forgor drug. do the time lords hate them — by all logic they should. how amoral are they. acab includes time police. are they the reason you don’t encounter many human time travellers in the present originating from after humanity becomes a time-active civilisation — is there, like, a prime directive type law against entering earth’s history? so much to explore. write them as foils/mirrors against the time lords

Torchwood: Absent Friends, but it's actually called Torchwood: "Present Enemies", and instead of Jack, 10, and Ianto, it's Eric Roberts' Master, John Hart, and Mairwyn (Jones).

And instead of being cancelled, it actually releases.

i always find comfort in fictional characters / storylines with the ultimate purpose of wrenching my soul. i listen to broken at night before going to sleep — ianto in need of comfort, physical touch, skin to skin contact; i can’ t help but imagine him craving jack’ s touch, lips and eyes on him, i don’ t mean it only in a sexual way but also in a emotional (?) way: he needed someone but not anyone — he needed jack because he was the only one who could understand the pain of losing someone you held so close to your heart to something out of your control. ianto — his pain, search for comfort in someone that also happens to be a source of pain in isnto’ s eyes, the need to let go of himself and his delusions, the anger and hopes. his emotions overtook him and for some reasons i wish i could take it all, feel everything because his life and misadventures seem to make more sense, to be more reasonable than my messy, chaotic, noisy yet way too quiet life.
