Not many people know the movie, probably lesser so since its 65 years old. But if you can find it, see it.
Good suspense thriller.

This Movie!!! What can I say??? Saw it 1st time at an early age...maybe 6 or 7. Was originally titled Horror Hotel for American audiences...What atmosphere! What chills! Virtually unparalleled in scares and sense of dread throughout. The graveyard scenes are truly nightmare - inducing. Wonderful performances by Venetia Stevenson, Betta St John, Patricia Jessel as Elizabeth Selwyn aka Mrs Newless, Valentine Dyall and, of course, Christopher Lee. Norman MacOwen plays a real scary looking priest, albeit on the side of the angels. What an exciting and rousing ending, which slams home that the power of Christ is stronger than anything Satan and his followers could ever dish out......
