I haven't seen either of the Joker movies, but reviews have given me the resolution that if DC ever lost their minds and hired me to do a mainline-continuity Batman run (as opposed to my imaginary Black Label run where I could start from scratch), I would have a plot where the Joker actually gets a little bit better through psychiatric treatment and deep personal reflection. Fans would hate it and the next lead writer after me would immediately end it, but I would keep doing it until they fired me just to see how long I could get away with it.

danny tracks down his uncle jack to gotham (either his family dies or it’s unsafe in amity etc). joker initially doesn’t know what to do with this piece of his past, but decides to take meds and take care of the kid (batman: white knight joker!!!). the batfam is super confused and concerned at this development and red hood is livid. danny thinks uncle jack is nice tho and always has good jokes to tell :) (dealer’s choice if he realizes his uncle was the joker or helps him change his ways- i.e reminding him to take his meds, no uncle put down the gun, etc)

when his uncle becomes mayor tho vlad finally tracks danny down and now amity park’s mayor has some weird beef with gotham’s

One of the many reasons I love Batman White Knight is because Sean Murphy isn’t a coward like so many other writers and actually says that Joker loves Batman

I love this photo so much, my spouse and I had a lot of fun with the set dressing and then photoshooting. There's a bunch of photos before I smudged my makeup as well, but this one is my favorite ever.
