Happy 29th Anniversary to ''Batman Forever"!

It was 29 years ago now that ''Batman Forever'' was releashed.

The 3rd Batman film, it's well known for its introduction of Robin, Riddler and Two-Face and its move from the gothic tone of Tim Burton to a more colorful and campy tone that was done to make it more "kid friendly".

t was 27 years ago now that ''Batman & Robin'' was released.

The 4th Batman film and the 2nd directed Joel Schumacher, the film is remembered as the film that all but killed the Batman franchise. Batgirl joins the team as they face the threat of Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy and her henchman Bane. George Cloney replaced Val Kimer as Batman and a far campier style was applied then in ''Batman Forever''.

There are many stories of how production was plagued by numerous issues and how studio executives were wanting a movie to basically sell toys to kids.
