Me, after doing 15 minutes of excessive googling on every Batfam member's birthday only to then realize I've accidentally missed the majority of them this year, and then also finding out that people are still aggressively debating over whether Bruce's birthday is April 7 or February 19, Dick's birthday happens 3-6x throughout the year, and Stephanie might have just popped into existence for all that DC cares:

DISCLAIMER: DC is notorious for being super inconsistent with everything and I am a mere tadpole caught in the tidal wave of DC's ocean. This post will be regularly updated with edits and corrections so please do not use it as word of law, I am begging you.

Update (8/24/23): To keep things more simple and easier for everyone I am going to start categorizing the birth dates I've collected into 3 categories.

-Most popular: Self-explanatory. These are the birth dates that have been canonized and confirmed by DC and are also more wildly celebrated by the fandom. Typically, this should be the first result you see when you google the character's birthday. But not always because DC sucks ass.

-Other date(s): These are the additional birth dates I come across that have been canonized in some form with multiple sources, but are not as wildly celebrated or popularized by DC and/or the fandom. Why am I including them here? Mostly because I don't want people coming in saying I forgot a date. But also because if I have to see this mess, then y'all have too as well.

-Potential but unconfirmed date(s): This is where I will put all the other additional dates I find, but specifically those that are lacking in complete sources or seem to be highly debated and scrutinized.

Also fun emoji ranking guide for me and me alone:

👑👑: Queen Shit. Characters with a consistent and simple birth date(s). Can absolutely do no wrong.

👑😮‍💨: In the Running. Characters who don't have a set birth date, but the mess is minor and completely DC's fault. They shouldn't have to be punished for DC's crimes.

🤡🤡: Gtfo. Shit is so inconsistent and stupidly messy that it's making me lose my shit. I'm putting DC and the characters on trial for this bullshit.

I even saw a mention of September 19 2023, but I don't know how credible that source actually is. I'm just putting it here because I'm losing my mind and I don't want someone to pop in and say I forgot it omfg I'm dying

I'm just ... why? Why is it so hard to just commit to one month and one date. I'm not even concerned about the exact year. Just commit to ONE, man.

I'm saying this because I've noticed people reblogging this post for actual Batfam bday references and someone already pointed out I fucked up Tim's bday and now I feel bad for everyone who reblogged this post prior to that edit.

It's probably just the anxiety talking, but yeah I just wanted to put that out there.

Also justice for Stephanie Brown! She deserves to have her own special day and if I have to bully DC into giving her a canon birthday, then you bet your ass I fucking will.

Prom Night: Special Edition for Thoughtbubble

I'm SO happy with the revamped cover for the new print version of PN! For those of you who don't know, this was my first printed comic ever, a tropey horror short featuring teenage Caro as Carrie Greensburo, Henderson High's Prom Queen, and John as Hurricane Sully O'Sullivan, all around delinquent and trouble maker. I wrote and drew the original in about two weeks which is insane, and it holds a very special place in my heart, and also features Caro's Coming Out moment, because of course the best time to come out to your neighbor is when you're being chased by monsters in a corny B-flick.

I wanted to give this story the care it deserves that I didnt have the time to do back when i made it, so I've been fixing up some panels and adding some small context pages to flesh the story out juuuuust a little bit, so of course, it needed a new special edition cover, and here we are! I love the original cover, but its really cool to see where my style has taken me since then, and I'm excited I could make it look more like the cheesy horror movie poster it was meant to be. I cant wait to get these printed!

Tsunade is among my favorite characters. She's strong, smart, competent, empathic, and badass. She has an interesting background and compelling flaws. And most of it, she has such a good introduction. Usually, I'm very happy with the character's introductions in Naruto. Kishimoto really has a talent for it. But Tsunade especially gets a great one. I think it's fundamental. The reader always keeps the first impression in mind. You need to understand the character quickly, their traits and purpose in the story.

She already appeared a bit in flashbacks (Jiraiya & Hiruzen and maybe Orochimaru ?), but we still had to meet her. The next arc is kind of dedicated to it, to introduce her to the story. And it does very well in that regard. What's very interesting in this arc is that both Jiraiya and Orochimaru are searching for her because she's the only capable in their eyes. Jiraiya thinks she fits the role of hokage more than him and the elders agreed. And Orochimaru knows Tsunade is the only one who can heal him. Plus, we get from Gai that's she's the only one who can heal Lee, Kakashi and Sasuke. She has a strong reputation.

She's called in a two panels "medical specialist", "the third of the shinobi three", and "the queen of slugs and elixirs". Kishimoto is building the hype around her character. She's looked in high regards by Konoha and Orochimaru.

And it gets Naruto curious. As much as the reader. That's literally why he asks what she's like. He's about to meet her anyway, so can't blame him. Plus she would save Sasuke (& Kakashi) if they bring her back, that's very important to him.

To balance her previous reputation, Kishimoto comes with another one "the legendary loser". He builds expectations and also gives you one of her flaws. Something really incapacitating for her character. And honestly, I'm quite happy with it. We didn't even properly meet her and we get a background (Hashirama's grand daughter, Hiruzen's student, Orochimaru & Jiraiya teammate), what she's specializes in (medical ninjutsu) and some of her negative traits (she likes to bet and has bad luck). I really wanted to read more about her. She was already interesting to me.

When we're finally introduced to her, Kishimoto expands more on her background and tells us why she became a medical ninja and left the village. I think those elements are quite important to explain her character & personality. As a comparison, we didn't get Jiraiya background before the Pain's arc. I'm not saying it's good or bad, but it wouldn't have worked for a character like Tsunade who literally took Shizune under her wing. It wouldn't have made sense without the background you see. It's also easier to empathize with her.

Another point... immediately, we are shown what she's capable of. Her strength is quite impressive. I think it's the first time we see such a strength. Actually, Shizune who was also trained as medic has different techniques and fighting style. So they both have their own originality while being two medical kunoichis... In my opinion, it's a good point in their favor.

Also, Tsunade is a capable medic. She's the best at it. And it's presented right away. First, she understands the importance of Orochimaru's state and clearly knows what they want her for. Secondly, she's able to use her ninjutsu medical in her fighting style (second panel). Kabuto was immobilized by just one jutsu and Orochimaru is impressed by it. Then she proceeds to heal herself. And in the third panel, she saves Naruto who was on the verge of death. Something that Kabuto thought impossible. And still... she did it !

So her reputation as a medical specialist is well deserved.

Heee, looks how badass she is ! Anyway... after getting hit three times (if I counted well) she still stands and heals her wounds at the surprise of Orochimaru. She should have died right there, it's made perfectly clear by everyone. But she has an unique jutsu that regenerates her. It's her own words.

She cannot die while this jutsu is active. Again that's considerable, because nobody else has anything like that (except for Kabuto who didn't die from Naruto's rasengan). And it's a jutsu she created and a dangerous one at that. Then, she summons Katsuyu, finally explaining why she's called "the queen of slugs" by Jiraiya.

This panel is really something. I think it's the details... it's so good.

Also another point (the last I promise) is the only reason Tsunade was incapacited during the fight... is because of her trauma and her fear of blood. Kabuto has to cut himself to stop her from attacking. There's no other reason mentioned. And she was a retired ninja for years...

A fear and a trauma she was able to overcome as seen in the panels I posted before.

Tsunade's introduction is so good because she has everything you need for a believable character you'd want to follow. She has a detailed background, ambitions/dreams on her own, techniques unique to her, positive traits and some flaws. And a promising character development. The show don't tell is also well done.

Also she has something that works in her favor. Before Tsunade was introduced, we barely get anything about medical ninjutsu. So her speciality is new for the reader too.

Design Lore- Wedding Gowns of Inquisitor Evanui Lavellan and Ambassador Josephine Montilyet*

*this is all related to my headcanons concerning these characters, please don't take anything I write here as actual canon*

I do not agree that these ladies waited over a decade to get engaged. they were quietly married as soon as Eva's arm healed. This is their blow- out vow renewal ceremony.

This is a very long post. Strap in.

As someone with a background in fashion and design, the fashion choices of characters is always an extremely important facet to me when it comes to understanding who those characters are at their core.

Games are no different, in fact they're probably one of the mediums where fashion design shines the most. You can usually tell exactly what sort of person a character is at a glance based on the design choices made and how every piece of their outfit is styled.

I love Dragon Age, so I figured I'd have fun with this little project and go ham.

Josephine and Eva deserve that much after so much time.

Style of Gowns:

The simple sheath- style dress we see in Cullen and Sera's wedding scenes would not work for these two, Josie in particular.

I was originally designing something from scratch, with hints of Italian Renaissance styles, a little Jacobian, metallics, etc. but then this fabulous 80s Mugler caught my eye.

It's perfection.

Swap the colour, tweak the sleeves, fuller skirt, some bows on the neckline, and done!

Eva's I wanted to keep more in line with what was in-game, but fancier. Adding sleeves to this 60s Valentino did the trick, as did the bodice shape of Lady Sibyl's harem pants frock from Series 1 of Downton Abbey.

Colour Palettes and Materials:

Historically women married in their best dresses. For people of means that meant very elaborate, costly things. They rarely wore white wedding gowns, preferring bright or deep colours for their gowns, or most expensively, metallic fabric.

Cloth of gold and cloth of silver were preferred by noblility, and those with the coin for it often made full outfits from these fabrics.

Examples include the wedding gown of Empress Ekaterina II of Russia, and the coronation gown of Queen Maude of Norway (yes, I know it's actually gold lamé, but there are almost no examples of actual cloth of gold left and old style lamé is a good approximation to the look of the OG).

As the head of a now-prosperous noble family who dealt with trade, Josie would be familiar with these and many other fine fabrics. Now that she can afford to splurge a little, she'd have a choice of the best. The skirt is cloth of silver with gold coloured silk satin for her bodice and sleeves.

I took inspiration for the bodice from the the colour of Artemesia Gentileschi's Ester Before Ahasuenus, and the texture of the silks in Vittorio Reggianini's La Soireé.

Eva's gown, while simpler in shape and style, was no less elaborate in construction. The pleats on the Valentino gown remind me so much of Mariano Fortuny's Delphos gowns that were all the rage during the early part of the 20th century. She chose a fine light linen for it's construction, in a colour she liked over whatever was more fashionable. In this case a light rosy pink with darker pink as a base for the embroidery panels.

The embroidery is where things get deep in my headcanon (and my feelings), as traditional embroidery patterns are something that I've always been particularly interested in. Both as a hobby, and the historical and cultural traditions and motifs that are tied into embroidery as an art form.

It's an artform historically practiced by women, an industry made and defined by women. Stories, techniques, designs, patterns: passed from mother to daughter, sister to sister, friend to friend, from generation to generation for centuries. The textile tradition of a culture tell the stories the men wouldn't commit to memories, the stories few will ever commit to words. Stories of love and history, changing trends, aesthtics, personal style. Stories of the individuals who wore the clothes.

Historically women of the family came together to work on the embroidered items in a bride's trosseau. It's the case with the heirloom embroidery that still exists within my family, and I'm sure many other families as well. I'd like to believe the Dalish do something similar to this.

I chose heavy embroidery for Evanui's gown because as the First to the Keeper, she would know the importance of traditions like these within families and clans. And Clan Lavellan has lost so much. This is her way of represent her traditions, and her personal story on her body on what would be one of the happiest days of her life.

And it's also a way for the women of Clan Lavellan- Evanui's sisters, cousins, aunts, and friends- to come together and show a most cherished member of the Clan all their love and support during this happy occasion.

Poppies for beauty and remembrance, and twining stems and leaves reminiscent of the elfroot icons you see in game. They're done in the style of Hungarian style red work embroidery, a personal favourite of mine.

Veils and Headdresses:

I lifted a blue version of the flower crown Queen Guinevere wore for her wedding in Excalibur for Josie. With everything else going on in the outfit, a simple mesh veil works.

Eva wears a short veil of dark pink linen with some simple embroidery along the scalloped edge. It's a shortened, simplifed version of historical headwear in the vein of wimples and henins. She wears it with a flower band in the popular face-framing style of the mid-1800s.

It's a look that's perfect for elves!

Shoes:

These aren't shown, but I did think of them!

Josie wears Roccoco-style heels like those depicted in François Boucher's Marquise de Pompadour, coloured gold of course. Eva wears something more Romantic, Jacques-Louis David's Mlle Ducreux in pale pink and red would work.

And yes, her shoes are full shoes. She got tired of having her feet cold and wet in traditional Dalish footwear.

Final Thoughts:

While I'm nowhere on her level, the biggest inspo for this little exercise came from one of my favourite illustrators, Beverlie Manson. In particular the paintings she did for Cinderella and Snow White and Rose Red.

In all, this has been far too much fashion, and even more headcanoning for one measley piece of fanart. Like I said, I went ham on this. Maybe too much ham, but that's but besides the point.

These are designs I will be definitely be returning to sooner rather than later.

CPC EPILOGUE

One last...One last review...before...*gasp for air*...it all fall into the pit of daily pass...*dramatically fall into the ground*

ALL THOSE CHAPTERS. Those were some damn rollercoasters. And yet with everything we've been through, we're finally here...

Let's get right into it

JACK FINALLY REUNITING WITH LEELATHAE!! Relationship goal fr <3 This whole Leelathae portrait stuff is actually making me curious about some things. For instance like, does Leelathe still sleep? I mean, she's pretty much a spirit now, right? Does she still do daily human acitivities, or does she roam around the castle all day?

It's awesome to see what the pastel siblings are doing now! :D

First of all, Lorena definitely deserve that A+++++. No questions asked. Hopefully this can make up for her whole grade, considering she said she has never gotten an A in her entire life XD

I love how Maria is becoming really ambitious towards her dream!

And Gwen bonding with her mom's side of the family <3 That is simply so sweet. It looks like Jamie love those food XD I wonder what are the recipes for those dishes.

Also pretty curious what those little beads are! I assume they are berries?

Jamie and Leopold creating lots of paintings so Leelathae can venture around!! Since Leelathae can also visit dreams, do you think she visits each of her children's dream every night?

Old guard name reveal HECK YEAH!! I've been waiting for that. So happy he got all those recognitions and promotion!!

And Becket getting demoted lmaoo

Is it rude for me to say that with what Beckett did before the invasion (ignore Frederick), and how he immediately decided to confess to Maria without any consideration for the room, he kindaa had it coming? xd I get that he was excited but don't just do that man.

Just wanted to say I absolutely love Lorena's outfit in this panel! Between all of the pastel siblings, her fashion style has always been my favorite. VOTE QUEEN LORENA WOOOOO!!!!

Everyone's getting their appreciations like they deserve!! I'm happy for everyone.

FREDERICK FINALLY GETTING THE RECOGNITION, THE APPRECIATION, AND THE PROUDNESS HE DESERVE!! I'M SO PROUD OF HIM EVERYONE LOOK AT HIM. LOOK AT THE BOY.

Welp, out of the town and to the prison we go~

Leland not getting any visitors in the prison is honestly a really good punishment; a painful one too. How we see in the last chapters about how he realized that Jack actually love him and he has a breakdown, Isolde's speech to him about what else could he possible want, realizing that this whole time he has had everything. And now he's rotting in jail losing everything he once had. All because of envy and hatred. Just because he wasn't satisfied until he could see the man he once love the most suffer. Emotionally, that's really fucking painful.

Out of the prison we go~

So, Pizza exist in the CPC universe? XD That's not supposed to be surprising but I was taken aback for some reason. I guess CPC is set after the 18th century, then!

I can imagine it already. With Suzie moving to the Pastel Kingdom, Lorena will definitely hang out with her almost everyday. Them sparring and eating at a cafe in their free time <3 Sometimes Lance would join too :] They would share notes!!

FINALLY THEY STOLE THE PORTRAIT BACK!! I wonder where they will hang it up? Maybe at the Cpc? Or at the Pastel Palace?

The wedding's decoration is totally magical too!! It looks so majestic and angelic.

Celso and Aurelia is a couple I would never expect but honestly? I'm not complaining. Imagine their date is them sitting at a cafe right at the window seats, watching people outside while roasting each one of them <3 Dream date fr

Holy shit.. EVERYONE PLEASE, ALLOW ME TO MAKE YET ANOTHER FASHION REVIEW. BECAUSE GOODNESS GRACIOUS THIS DRESS IS MAKING ME SWOON. OKAY DAMN YOU GO MARIA YOU GO. First of all the blue fabric looks so metallic, I love that!! The light blue glittery ruffles with little pearls on its edges are also gorgeous. I love the lace necklace complimenting the dress and especially, I fricking love the blue transculent fabric on her arms!!! She looks so graceful.

She got noticed by her idol!!! That is so dang amazing. How she looks in the album cover is also just, woah.

Well, I suppose this is the last review, then. That's kind of sad, to be honest. But I've loved writing each of my reviews, and I want to say thank you to people who have interracted with them. I always love hearing y'all's thought and theories!! Maybe one day I'll find a new webtoon series which I can write these reviews on!! But for now, this shall be the last cpc review I write!

okay, so,,, i got back to reading 4kota, and i have so many thoughts of literally every nature

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR 4KOTA, NATURALLY!

okay so, allow me to rant a lil

bro why the actual fuck is Arthur just magical hitler now?? 😭 like hello???? it genuinely makes me really sad because he was such a sweet and likable character for most of 7ds and now he wants to create an ethnostate for humans only???? it just breaks my heart, man

SAME WITH JERICHO LIKE HELLO? QUEEN, YOURE BETTER THAN THIS. genuinely tho- nakaba try not to make all your characters pedos challenge (impossible). there are literally so many other ways in which Jericho could have ended up in a similar situation, but nakaba really just chose pedophilia? it couldve been something along the same lines just without the romantic attraction!! a family bond can be just as strong- and it couldve been something like her losing Lancelot or in some other way letting him down, and then thinking that he despises her and holds onto that grudge (which, judging his character it wouldve probably been a small spat that he got over) - but maybe Jericho didnt understand that, or wasnt ready to face him, expecting him to be livid - so she asked for an alternative reality where that didnt happen and they got along great as sister/brother or master/trainee. i wouldnt put Jericho past being so stubborn that she wouldnt believe when Lance would say that he forgave her, and then boom!! same set-up, just without the nasty pedophilia!!

ON THE NOTE OF WHICH- (theres so much of that garbage in nakaba's writing, fucks sake) - i genuinely hate the whole thing happening with Guinevere. the whole non-consensual kiss from a 12 year old to a 16 year old (ewwwww) is one thing, but then when Lance is reflecting on that interaction and he SMILES????

you have no idea how much this panel killed me to see. Lancelot youre better than this,,,, 4 years is not a big age difference when youre in your 30's, but when youre 16???? please,,,, cmon now,,,

speaking of whommmmm~~ ,,, I ADORE LANCELOT!! SO MUCH!! this is to be expected considering i love Ban, bUT- hes genuinely just such a cool and wonderful character that has some sense in him. i especially loved those panels where he was like jumping around to get himself hyped up cuz like!! Ban does that!!!! i love,,,,

elizabeth (looking gorge btw, i love that for her) is unfortunately reduced to an object of fondling yet again 😔 literally like the second panel that shes in and shes getting grabbed and groped by Meliodas?? it just feels mad disrespectful to her really deep character that she has such a minor role when you ignore her being sexualised by Mel (in reality nakaba, but i digest)

i love that panel where Anne tells Isolde about what chastity actually is hbghjnhbjh

I FEEL SO BAD FOR NASIENS WHEN PERCY IS ALL UP IN ANNES BOOBS. genuinely- the dropped bag, and all of he blushing that happened before it during their interactions,,,, that shit broke my heart, man

because i've never made an actual post about it -- a large part of the core of my interpretation of frank is that he has antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) and his military service not only enabled it, but allowed it to flourish to the point that it's become a core part of his identity as a person. this article explains how the military-industrial complex (unfortunately blocked behind a paywall) explains it well and has always stuck out to me, especially considering it was written in the wake of the discover of a.bu g.hraib. the core traits of ASPD, particularly in young white american men.

and i don't mean this because he's a "psychopath" / "sociopath" with zero remorse or emotion, because that is a huge misconception of what ASPD is and one of the many ways cluster b disorders are demonized/stigmatized. the criteria for ASPD is as follows:

noting that while frank has a "moral code", it is also a code that he created for himself with absolutely zero regard for the law. he is sadistic and thrives in violence, because if he isn't at war then he's making one. he has absolutely zero regard for the law lmao and never has (frank may have been and may still slightly be a bootlicker when it comes to the military but he never has been for the police god bless, but that's another post for another time).

as for evidence of conduct disorder before the age of 15, m.cu frank states that he purposely picked fights and caused trouble. a lot of my basis for frank's background is based off of punisher tyger and born, both of which entail frank's life before the death of his family. he's fascinated by violence from the age of 10 that we see, which includes him watching two men burn to death that have committed "wrongdoings" (the former being a union-busting scab and the other being a mobster who sa'd his friend) and therefore deserved it.

bonus points for this panel (that i have of course cherrypicked) in which baby frank attacks a man with diesel fuel for being abusive (which i don't necessarily use as part of my canon for him because it is FAR too on the nose lmao) but it's the general vibe/something he definitely thought about or went about in a much different way.

like i said - frank does have a "code", but even he knows it's a justification for enabling his violent nature. much of what i find really interesting about him is that yes, the murder of his family and PTSD from his service helped him form into what he's become, but the seeds have always been there. he has no significant trauma before that--he was raised in an idyllic middle-class family in queens. he chose to enlist pre-9/11 (not that it is an excuse but he didn't choose to serve out of some pumped up revenge fantasy) in part because his father served (in the comics it was wwii) but because it would allow him to get his hands dirty the way he craved.

again, all of this doesn't mean he's incapable of emotion. he has a dogged sense of loyalty that's been indoctrinated thanks to his years of service as well, and is able to form attachments to people. however, said attachments are volatile, and he has trouble maintaining deeper friendships and relationships that are not based in violence/war/etc.

also worth mentioning is the way he inherently corrupts those around him, albeit largely unintentionally. that in itself deserves its own post, but it's also worth mentioning like i said.

tl;dr someone... please get frank on some adderall and also drag him to DBT

hey guys i actually managed to read at least the first volume of usotsuki lily before the end of the year :DDD i didn't post before because i've been very lazy from the 25th to here, but this manga is special and deserves it! plus my little anon friend deserves to see my thoughts (as always, spoilers ahead).

and anon, you were SO right about our main cross-dressing character shinohara en being done in a way that at once may seem like classic cross-dressing boy, but it's actually really refreshing. one thing to understand about en is that he is a man hater and that is the principle used as to why he cross-dresses.

yipiee!!! yay!!!!!! i'm not a particularly man hater girlie but i support them 🫶🫶

but as you can see from the panels, what actually ultimately made me like en so much is that he is not just a man-hater, he absolutely LOVES girls and i couldn't help but really identify with that hahaha

also: first time i have ever seen a guy in a shoujo manga be all for feminine body hair

king! no wait. queen..? monarch? anyway, he truly loves everything about girls and seeing a manga from this time period, i was preparing myself to be disappointed because pretty much every male character who cross-dresses has that thing with makeup where they totally look down on girls who "don't make an effort" ("if you're a girl you should do at least this much" blablabla). but en loves girls as themselves. fat girls, boyish girls, he loves them all!

but what becomes the cherry on top is how that transfers to the internal feelings of the character. because it becomes pretty hard not to read en as someone who, if not a whole trans girl, is at least transfeminine.

it becomes clear that en really really likes hinata and for her, he is willing to do a lot, including going out dressed as a guy once in a while. but he still feels completely incapable of giving up cross-dressing, even if it would cost him the girl he likes. even while he does say he is "actually a guy" and is "still a guy on the inside", those statements are never defensive in the way we see some other cross-dressing boy characters utter them and it's more like a "it is the way it is", in my opinion. and when you look at the things he feels and the things he goes through, they pretty much scream trans experience.

i didn't grab a screenshot, but he loves the thought of being recognized as lesbians with his girlfriend in a couple's cafe they were planning to go. he also has that old universal problem of what to do when going to the pool or the beach. he knows people see this "habit" of his as something "perverted" and he has to be ok with sitting out from doing something fun because sometimes you both can't take having to display your body in a gender conforming way but also don't want to be seen as weird for doing something more to your tastes. i have been there before and like. which trans person hasn't...

join that with the fact that every single time he comes out dressed as a guy is explicitly just to make his girlfriend happy (he still absolutely loathes seeing himself in the mirror) and you can see why i think the way i do.

and by the way, even when he says this ⬇️ about his male friend, you can clearly see that what he means is that he likes that he doesn't hit on him.

remember, he is pretty much a lesbian in the body of a boy.

but you know, at the same time that i want to shout out transbian icon 🫶 i'm also fine with being on that undefined in-between state, hoping that this character will continue to be portrayed being true to himself and these feelings.

yeah so. we pretty much established that i absolutely love en but what about hinata? short answer is that i like her too! long answer must include an explanation why i think you shouldn't give up on her just because we start on this ⬇️

and because the recurring "joke" so to speak is that she gets all excited about doing something with her boyfriend and then pans to her boyfriend and it's a cute girl. but i think what people need to take from these "comedic moments" is that they are designed to be unserious. i believe you even have the freedom of tweaking this vision and seeing hinata as overreacting for the sake of the "joke" at hand. here's the thing: almost everyone around en acts like what he's doing is not only normal but something that elevates him (guys are in love with him and girls always come to him for advice). but hinata is in the unique position of being his girlfriend and still figuring things out and the author uses the humor of that to keep things light*.

by the time the volume ends, you can see a clear difference from the hinata of the beginning and the one we end up on in only 6 chapters. right off the bat in the first chapter, she already likes him enough just as he is to want him to fight for her (instead of giving up because he is a cross-dresser and she had an initial problem with that) and tell her "to accept him as the cross-dressing guy he is" after her initial wobble about actually accepting his confession and dating him.

she still finds him cute as a girl:

and you can see little by little how hinata's problem is more like a performative thing or "what a normal girl should think".

she might be very conflicted about kissing him as a girl, but what the author portrays as romantic is that she still does it because she likes him.

and what manga from the 2000s era would ever put such a blatant yuri moment like that??? only komura ayumi!!!

and can we talk about the most romantic moment ever of the volume for a sec???? as mentioned before, en and hinata were planning on going to a couple's café but they can't pass as a couple as two girls* and en just couldn't bring himself to go as a guy because the windows are too mirrored and he would have to look at himself. ultimately, he decides to make a greater effort to make his girlfriend happy, but then

hinata cross-dresses too just so they can go together!!!! my heart fr did a little dance when i got to this page because i wasn't expecting it. this was a real special moment to show that it's not just en that is making efforts in this relationship, but hinata, in her own way is making some too. and while i understand it might discourage some people that the effort has to be made in the first place, please remember that not only is this a story that needs its points of conflict so growth can happen, but also.. this is a late 2000s, early 10s title.

to call back both of those *'s i put, unfortunately to enjoy this you kinda have to roll with the state of things. at this time period the west might have started a few important conversations in a more mainstream manner, but the world of manga and its cousins still needed a moment to think about it until at least the late 10s and now 20s (and definitely not in any overt way aside from some things here and there). the thing is that while i mentioned how his struggles are similar to real-life trans people and that you could read him that way, the manga still has to clarify that he sees himself as a boy. that he wears boxers under his girl clothes because "he is not a pervert". that he might be like us but he doesn't Actually want to "be a girl" or be one of "those people" who do it as a fetish (whom i also support wholeheartedly). they are "like yuri" just like the title implies, but they still can't go to the couples café as "lesbians". so you know, it's still a shoujo manga of its time.

but honestly, if you already know how things work in manga, discouragement is the last thing you should feel. i hope i managed to include enough panels and explanations to showcase how different this manga is from a lot of others who deal with the same subject. how refreshing it is that it doesn't shy away from doing romance in an unconventional way because these are unconventional characters (instead of trying to balance things out by putting unconventional characters in the most conventional mold possible as to not alienate audiences). like, look at this. hinata might have started to cross-dress to fit with en better, but then she actually LIKES IT!

that was another time i was like in near disbelief because what other author would do that???

and honestly from this author, who knows, maybe the characters will get to a place where they're fine with being seen as lesbians because honestly that seems like something this author could do. maybe even include a queer character at some point. i love when an author with a taste for the unconventional realizes that from the security of making it a bit they can include almost anything in a straight romance manga ahahha

after watching that video, i had the idea of Ren Hua sending her rivals, Brittany and Aleksandra, to get the good vibes treatment because of all the bad things they’ve done to others. even though i could only fit Ren Hua, Yoko, and Patrick in the bottom panel, i imagine that more people would be there, like Samantha, Julia, Ruzena, Yu Zi, Meng Yao, etc. also, i know that Kai’s holding the guitar in the video, but i decided to draw it on his back here cuz why not

Ren Hua‘s dialogue before the treatment starts:

”thank you so much for agreeing to do this, my good sir. those two leeches absolutely deserve it for all of their tomfoolery. i have an entire essay on all of their actions, but i shall try my best to keep it short and sweet.”

Opinion: My own view on the SunFlower trio because.. Why not? lol

honestly i know absolutely no one asked me this but i rEAALLY wanted to do this kind of post so let's go

To be completely honest... I really like TeruAoiKane and (Ama)HanaNeneTsuka. without the incest ofc...

LIke- idk they all just- fit each other so much??

like-

I know not many people ship TeruAoi, AoiKane nor TsuNene (some may even call AoiKane and TsuNene toxic), but, honestly, if u put your mind into it, you (maybe) can see how much it makes sense.

Okokok... I'll just explain my own view on TeruAoiKane (all three of them together) and (Ama)HanaNeneTsuka (without the incest, of course.) ships. Feel free to add your own thoughts into it and/or correct me about it, though!

Though, since this post is kind of long... I'll be splitting this post into 2!

First i'll be talking about TeruAoiKane, theeen in the next part, I'll be talking about (Ama)HanaNeneTsuka!

Alr, without further ado... Let's start with TeruAoi.

Honestly, I never really thought about actually shipping them until I read this analysis about their relationship. (it was actually another analysis, but I can't find it; Besides, the analysis this person made is really good and well-taken!)

If u think about it, Teru and Aoi are pretty similar;

Both hide their true nature under perfect facades.

Both are the 'Queen' and the 'King' of the school.

Both have a very distinct line of thought about the world around them; Aoi oftens looks down on others, while Teru looks down on supernaturals. Aoi is afraid of being hated by the people she loves the most, while Teru is afraid of his siblings not needing him anymore.

It may not be alot, but it's definitely something; They both parallel each other so much. They both understand each other. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'Teru likes Aoi' theory would turn out to be canon, because Teru liking Aoi makes so much more sense instead of him liking Akane.

There are also alot of hints in the manga where its implied that Teru may like Aoi; (All taken from the very same analysis! If u want a more detailed explanation, you can read their analysis about it.)

Chapter 73; He says he likes Akane-san(He calls Aoi Akane-san, while he calls Akane Aoi). Turns around he was just kidding; But the way he acted about it didn't really seem like he was just 'kidding'. The fact that he says that in a bigger panel may really implies that it meant more than it should have.

Later on in the chapter, he looks annoyed when he asks Akane if he did something rather indecent to Aoi. Not even mocking or teasing, just accusing him of it as he says it with an irritated face. And the fact that the text was written in a black word cloud...

He looks pretty genuine in a panel; A panel where he seems genuinely melancholic when he says; "I.. only want Akane-san to come back."

Whenever is asked/implied if Teru have genuine feelings for Aoi, it's always shown to us a big panel about Teru's response. It's almost like his answer about this kind of question is important.

I don't think there are any hints about Aoi liking Teru, but there are definitely alot of hints about Teru liking Aoi. That isn't exactly what made me ship them, but more like their similarities and how they parallel each other.

I don't know how to explain it, they just make sense. They make it make sense. I feel like their ship makes alot more sense than AoiKane and TeruKane.

Their personalities are so similar, the way they think is pretty similar-They just fits each other personalities so much.

Besides, they make me think about that one trope where the popular kids get together in the end. It's clichè, but it's a nice trope when done well.

Now let's go to AoiKane...

I'll be honest; At first, I thought those 2 would never work out, and didn't deserve each other.

Akane was pretty obsessive towards Aoi, so much to the point that he would hurt himself just for her.

Aoi always hid behind the appearance of a perfect girl, so much so that it made her think that Akane never really loved her; Instead, he loved the school princess Ao-chan, not Akane Aoi. - Besides, she backstabbed him. (literally lol)

So yeah, basically; They weren't healthy for each other.

But... As the chapters went on, and how their relationship started to improve ever since the Sacrifice Of The Grim Reaper arc... I feel like they slowly started to patch up the holes in their relationship, and started to trust each other more.

Akane even stopped being that obsessive towards Aoi, and Aoi started to be more open to Akane.

Basically; Their relationship got a big massive improvement, and that's good.

Both of them genuinely loves each other for who the other are; They don't need such facades to love each other, they just do.

"One(s) who truly hates himself(themselves), cannot love. He(they) cannot place his(their) trust in another."

That phrase fits Aoi so much-

She always hated herself, always putting herself under a facade so everyone could love her and never know about her true flaws. She was very careful so that no one could ever know about her true self.

But once she realized that Akane did love her for she really was, she instantly started crying.

It seemed like she finally started to feel loved.

I feel like Akane could help Aoi to love herself more, while Aoi would help Akane to have his own personality more if they were to be in a romantic relationship.

They both got their flaws, but they genuinely love each other and it seems they are slowly starting to improve more their relationship at the same time they are starting to focus on themselves more. Akane is starting to gain more his own personality, while Aoi is (really) slowly starting to love herself.

I still don't really feel like actually shipping them, but I would be lying if their relationship and character's development didn't make me ship them atleast a lil' bit.

Besides, I really like the childhood friends romance trope.

Now let's move on to TeruKane!

To be honest.. I only shipped them for a while before I decided they were better off as best friends. (And that their ship was kind of toxic)

But now, mainly due to the fandom, I started shipping them again, this time for real.

Teru and Akane don't really seem to give any indication that they like each other romantically in the manga, but their dynamic and friendship is very interesting and fun to see.

And, I don't know, but it really seems like Teru cares for Akane;

Teru has cast a spell on Akane's glasses that makes it so he cannot see supernaturals while wearing them and can continue to live a normal life. This has become more evident in the Sacrifice of the Grim Reaper arc, where Teru saves Akane without telling him that Aoi would not be able to leave the Far Shore, most likely because he knew Akane would refuse to leave without her.

Akane does not hold back when insulting Teru, but does have respect for him. He recognizes the hard work Teru does and believes that even though he has a distasteful personality on the surface, deep down he is a caring person who wants to save others.

I have to agree that their relationship can be kind of toxic, and they wouldn't really work out; But the way they both have mutual respect and care for each other it really what drives me into liking this ship.

Besides, I once saw someone call them; "2 cm away from kissing each other trope", and I agree with them.

Besides, I think Teru would help Akane to gain more personality of his own, while Akane would view Teru for who he is. (I mean, they technically already do that in canon lol)

I feel like they both feel like they don't need to hide under a facade for each other, instead they are just Akane and Teru. Not Vice-president Aoi-kun nor Exorcist Minamoto-senpai; Just Akane and Teru.

Overall; Their relationship is a bit toxic so it will need some development, but their interactions together are pretty nice to see. They can definitely work out once their relationship gets more development. They are more like best friends than to lovers to me, but their ship is still pretty nice.

All three of them together.

It's basically TeruKane, TeruAoi and AoiKane dynamics, but with possibly more development and together.

All three of them would love each other for who the other are; I feel like they would make each other so happy.

Aoi and Teru would help Akane gain a personality of his own; Akane and Teru would help Aoi to love herself more; And Akane and Aoi would let Teru to act like himself more.

Mutual respect and care. Helping each other out with their self-worthy and self-love. Awful personality trio. Parallels each other. Popular trio. They are perfect.

There is probably more to add to it than it actually seems, but it's already 1 am in my country and I really want to move on to (Ama)HanaNeneTsuka already xd

Final opinion; I genuinely really like this trio. I feel like, once they all finally get the character development they deserve, they all could make it work if they were ever to be in a romantic relationship with each other. I love both of their trio name too; Awful Personality and Sunflower trio! To whoever came up with those names for them, you are a absolutely genius. That fits them so much-

182 Days of TPN - Day 100

Chapter 100: “Arrival”

One of the few things season two did right was keeping Simon alive. They made his eyes so pretty with that shade of green and he’s just one of those characters that you instantly fall in love with how sweet of an older brother he is to Phil.

Eugene I remember, Charlie’s name doesn’t ring a bell but I’ve definitely seen that face of his before, but I have no memory of a child called Milosz at all??

Sigh.. soon my queen will return, if only for a short while. unfortunately.

I think one of the things I hate most about this chapter is how quick it got us to like Simon, even going as far to compare him to Don, then BAM! Literally being shipped off next panel!

The chapter continues to pull at my heartstrings once it makes the parallel of Phil being in a similar situation as Ray when he knew the house’s secret, only difference being that Phil is a couple years younger than Ray when he first found out about the farm, which that makes the pain hurt even more!

Quick, no one tell Phil that Emma passed out in the forest due to her injured ear and a fever or that she was brutally stabbed by an insane demon. The little guy would surely have a heart attack if he knew.

There’s no way in hell a four year old child should be subjected to such depressing thoughts and emotions! At least it all makes the ch175/176 reunion with Emma worth it but aaahh, Phil is too precious to deserve any of this pain in the first place!

“They ask you how you are, and you just have to say that you're fine, when you're not really fine.” (Damn Isabella, she raised a handful of wonderful actors.)

And the absolute worst part of this chapter is when this finger-tapping bastard comes along, spreading fear into our hearts and Phil’s. What really sucks is that we still dunno exactly what Andrew asked of him and what Phil ended up telling him. All we find out in ch111 is that the conversation mentioned Emma but not much else.

Thankfully the chapter lightens up a bit when we turn our attention back to the Cuvitidala search group. Once again loving the detail of Emma adjusting her hearing to aid her missing ear like she did in ch43 & 67.

I love Zack and how he’s so easily impressed and/or scared by how these children are able to function so efficiently. Of course I’m very proud Don & Gilda managed to follow Ray’s crazy request as well.

And if we’re gonna talk about stuff that’s praise-worthy, then I gotta mention how Emma killed three wild demons at once! I haven’t a clue on how she managed to fire off three arrows simultaneously and have each head in a separate direction to hit the necessary weak spots so perfectly, but who cares! Lovely archery skills regardless!

I really wish we were able to see more of the journey to Cuvitidala though. Apparently it takes them 52 days to get there yet we only get a couple panels. It might not have been as exciting as them finally arriving at the destination itself, but after all the intense action we saw in GP, I’d be down for some chill adventuring. Hell, I just wish to see Violet and Zack interact with our GF kids more and continue to be astonished by how smart they all are. Also wanna see how Zack handled being surrounded by these kids for months since he’s quite literally the only adult on this trip.

Favorite panel/moment:

Violet and Zack being terrified of the GF kid’s capabilities yet again. And Ray looks far too pretty in that second panel. It’s not fair. Could you imagine if he had bright colored eyes in the anime? Oh my.. I’d die. and yes I’d hope for a real light purple, of course.

I haven't been praising Sonic characters on my blog lately. Let's change that!

Here's every current main Sonic character IDW or Videogame and my; I've been with sonic the hedgehog since birth, opinion.

V+Name= Videogame vr

Name = just assume I'm talking about both iterations or they only have the one of either.

(mostly jokes under the cut. I'm not taking this seriously)

VSonic: He be going; but the development of character is slow and practically stagnant

CSonic: He be going; but, the character development is actively moving along with him.

Tails: He be following; but, he has grown and I am very proud of my fox baby

Knuckles: He be punching. But, he has grown to accept more company. I *really* REALLY like that. He's gonna try to no longer be a loner. That makes me so happy, take that vacation Knux you deserve it boy!!

VAmy: Grown to levels at the age of twelve I never thought I would see possible.

CAmy: Shows me every time she's in a panel why she's still and forever will be my favorite sonic character.

VEggman: His same goofy ahh self. That old geezer is now hell-bent on just ending Sonic at this point.

CEggman: Still has plans and ambitions and still executes the most perfect plan awfully. Why is there a button to fuck you over, sir!

VMetal Sonic: My poor baby gets no love...

CMetal Sonic: This is what I'm talking about! This character hit hard and makes me cry harder!!

VShadow: Could be edgier...

CShadow: I would say the same thing as the video game iteration, but at the time I am making this post the Eggperial city arc of IDW comic has ended and Shadow played a big part in it. And he slayed. An absolute KING 👑 I'm just happy we got to see him a little bit fixed from what we got from the previous arcs. So, ultimate.

VRouge: Haven't seen her in a while can only go off based on what we recently got and fine I guess.

CRouge: A BOSS ASS BITCH! QUEEN! I LOVE YOU 💜💖💞💕💓 She one ups everyone with every line of sassy dialogue and I don't ever want it to end.

VE-123 Omega: Haven't seen him a while, can only go off base of what we've gotten so far, and I still miss Gamma. (Jk jk Omega's still cool)

COmega: A little menace of a preteen in a tank like robot body focused on nothing but being petty towards Eggman! Read the IDW Omega and you'll see the angsty preteen I promise! I love this Omega!

VSilver: He's such a punk.... Where's all the smack you were talking and power you were showing in 06 bro, where'd that go!

VBlaze: All we got recently was her in that annoying racing game (it's fun cuz it's a little buggy I'm just trash at it) and the April fools game and in those I'm happy to see her having fun. In any cannon game she's ever been in she's got a stick up her butt. I'm happy to see her smiling more.

CBlaze: A breath of fresh air is what she needs and what she deserves and I'm happy that the comic is delivering. It's clear that her breath of fresh air is her going on adventure with sonic and co. So let her go on a little more adventures though, I wouldn't mind seeing her go on another girl focused adventure with Amy, rouge, cream, bell, tangle, whisper, and Lanolin. That sounds really fun! She'd probably have a blast.

VCream: I don't think I'm wrong about this but the last time we saw her was in GENERATIONS! . . . Need I say anything else?

CCream: IDW has made me find a new appreciation for the characters I never thought about as much since Sonic X. Cream being one of those characters. She's so headstrong, and believes in what she does and, is such a purely good force that everyone that has recently crossed paths with her either understands, or knows, that she will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. That girl is going places, and gonna change the world. We may never see it but the facts are there.

Gemerl: A gem. And I'm happy I got my Omega vs Gemerl fight in an annual issue. THAT made me love their character. So serious about everything unless their allowed to chill out which is everyday considering they live with the Rabbit family.

Vanilla: I don't think I can say anything about Vanilla other than that she's just a good mom.

VVector: Since we got him in the April fools game and the racing game he has more coverage to talk about, however he's still just a loud crocodile making the audience laugh

CVector: Yoooo! This guy don't play about his buddies. The metal virus arc... I was ready to cry. I didn't think he would do that let alone be as serious as he was in that arc considering the Chaotix are meant to jokes. Especially Vector with his greed. The comic shows that he's a good leader, and since he's been doing it for years I want to see another mini adventure involving the Chaotix and Knuckles.

VEspio: I don't think we've seen him since Generations either so,.... Still as quiet and ninja like as ever

CEspio: NINJA POWER!! He was, is, and forever will be one of the coolest characters in the sonic franchise to me. As he is; I believe, to be the only one with a definite fighting style and set of skill along with a vibe of mystery that I wish would be uncovered sooooo bad. If you seen that annual where Silver and him had that deep talk, I almost could hold back tears. Again this comic has made me have a serious appreciation for the characters I never thought about so hard since Sonic X. He's perfect, never change Espio.

VCharmy: Again since Generations, all we've seen is a kid.

CCharmy: I have a lot of thoughts on comic Charmy that it's hard for me to put it down. I'm not gonna make the rest of this post a rant/appraisal on this little kid. So this is all I'm leaving you with.

Getting to Work (Super Sim Update)

I've had limited time to play The Sims over the last two weekends (I don't have any time on weekdays), so there's quite a bit to recap.

I put Stella in the Doctor career, starting at level 8 thanks to her Distinguished Biology degree. She's already ready to get promoted... as soon as she delivers someone's baby. (A pregnant Sim came into the hospital for regular illness; I tried cheating her to pregnancy phase to "in labor," but that didn't do anything except make her extremely uncomfortable. (Don't worry, I cheated it back to third trimester where it was.) I had to try!)

I went into Cousin India's household to get the twins back and to see who her baby daddy is -- turns out it's Aurelio Robles, which is interesting considering he's assumed to be ace, right? I figured, OK, they had a science baby as besties... but when I looked at India's relationship panel, they have a full romance bar too. *shrug* At any rate, I got them engaged and Aurelio moved in with India and the baby (whose name I'm blanking on at the moment Sandy. Her name is Sandy Shelton. Aurelio also had his own kid, no co-parent in family tree, so he's living with them, too. No, I don't know his name, nor do I really care.) So now they're their own happy little family.

Like I said, I brought the twins back to my household. Mostly so I could guarantee that Cade would win Prom Royalty, which he did... twice. (I was trying to get his girlfriend, Luna, crowned the second time, and Jester for him. Sigh.)

And yes, both times that Cade was Royalty, Orange Bailey-Moon was Prom Jester. Rigged!

Speaking of Orange, he's now dating Kinsley. "My best friend and my sister? My best friend and my sister!"

Tate also has a girlfriend - Noemi Caliente. Take a wild guess who her parents are:

(She straight up has Don Lothario's face and Nina's haircolor. Don's dead in this save already, btw - Neighborhood Stories took him out, but I don't remember how by killer chicken, which he almost definitely deserved. His ghost still calls Stella sometimes.)

Cade, of course, is still with Luna Villareal. She should be aging up in a couple days, and Orange should definitely be aging up the next time I play. Honestly, I was surprised they were both still teens for the last prom; I thought they would both be Young Adults by then, which would have created all kinds of weirdness for their relationships.

I'm hoping Cade will age up the next time I play, so I can get him moved out, married, and making the babies necessary to finish Stella's family Aspirations. I'm a little bit over teen gameplay now... just want to get everyone aged up and moved out as quickly as possible!

Speaking of Stella's aspirations, I did choose one of the Wellness aspirations to start working on... but I'm not really making any real effort right now. Like I said in my last post, those Aspirations are pretty much the whole gameplay of Spa Day, and it doesn't feel right to work on them when I haven't "progressed" that far yet.

LO RANT:

Each time I hear about the chapters they continue to prove my point each time. Hades really is a fucked up person, you mistreat and abuse your employees who you’ve known for a long long time.. those who’ve worked under you and have obviously formed some kind of understanding with you since they have to live in your realm and work in your corporation, along with your citizens who also deal with you on a daily basis and help keep your realm financially and physically stabilized. All of those people who’ve been there longer than punk ass Persephone and you only give her respect, compassion, understanding, and respect. You’re a fucking asshole, there’s literally no redemption with Hades and that’s exactly why I absolutely despise his ass.

See, I knew I was on to something when I said that Hades is nowhere near a morally grey character, he’s literally the worst person ever. He has no redeeming traits at least that he chooses to display, he never tries to actually fix his problems instead he gets someone else to, and whenever he’s confronted on his shitty behavior he gaslights and manipulates the person confronting him. He’s so fucking evil like I have such a deep hatred for him, he’s not even that fucking nice to Persephone literally he’s becoming borderline controlling and condescending. You can’t say you respect Persephone and then spoon feed her information like she’s an idiot, you can’t say she’s mature or an adult when you baby her like she’s 4, you can’t say that she should be the queen of the underworld if you won’t even let her help with actual situations that need to be dealt with in her realm. I mean… it’s almost as if.. We knew that Persephone was nowhere near capable or even showed any sort of leadership traits when it came to actually being a ruler.

Genuinely I never saw Persephone as an actual queen or adequate ruler of the underworld. Hell, Hades isn’t even cutting it either with his terrible communication and behavioral issues that he keeps projecting onto people he believes is less than. But the problem I have with Persephone is that there’s no record in the comic of Persephone actually trying to improve her understanding of the underworld or trying to come up with any solutions to its problems either. Like she literally just came back from the damn mortal realm after being there for 10 years and even before she got banned she’s never even had any motivation to learn about the underworld. The only motivation she’s ever had was flirting with Hades, she never asked about the realm, how things worked, what the citizens’ concerns, what additions they need to add, nothing. It’s always been about Hades and she’s only had one panel where she was actually interested in taking the realm but of course it was cut off because you can’t have romance and the female lead to have actual aspirations not revolving around flirting and being with the male lead.

This whole situation is irking to me, so many people time and time again always excuse Hades’ shitty behavior and instead try and punish the other characters for doing either the exact same thing or nothing at all. I’m so tired of this bullshit, Thanatos does not deserve to be so disrespected and unappreciated that he gets so jealous at the sight of Hades treating Persephone like a normal person to the point of actively trying to ruin her life. That speaks volumes on how badly Hades always treats him, he got desperate at the opportunity to actually be respected and noticed by his father figure Hades. The fact that this motherfucker brought Thanatos into his damn office just to talk about Persephone who was around the time still A FUCKING EMPLOYEE being queen is just so creepy to me. Like Persephone was still there to work and yet she’s effortlessly rewarded straight to the crown even though this bitch doesn’t do shit. Show me any scene or panel that Persephone actually deserves the crown because genuinely there is none, it’s creepy and weird how obsessive Hades is and how he wants Persephone so badly that he continues to call her his wife and address her like she’s basically his even though she’s already said that she wants to take things slowly. The man obviously just wants a wife he does not care about Persephone’s feeling or anything, he believes that her kindness is an invitation for him to court her and it’s really weird that no one’s thoughts of that.

Anyways that’s the end of the rant on both Persephone and Hades because they genuinely get on my nerves. Persephone is just as much to blame for Hades’ behavior too, I know there’s a few time she’s tried to correct his behavior but it seems like she really brushes it off unless it affects her in some way. Like she never sticks up for anyone else that Hades berates and insults or even try and get him to change. She just allows him to be absolutely unbearable without checking it so yeah it is partially her fault as well because as his only development the more time he spends with her the less of an asshole but instead it seems like Hades is now acting aggressively to “defend” Persephone which is really making things worse. But like I always say this is just a meaningless rant and whether or not you agree or disagree is fine with me, none of these rants hold a lot of weight since I come up with them on the spot so don’t take any of these as fact or importance, also don’t use this as fuel to go after any Hades or Lore Olympus stans, people are allowed to enjoy their characters.
