Almost missed Jr day since I am not very smart and didn't know there was a Jr day too until yesterday sooo I had to speedrun sketch and all today yay

Btw I headcanon Jr being best friend with Morton (and Morton being very close and protective to his little siblings in general) and close enough to Larry to play together most of the times - even if Larry likes to play the grown kid time to time so it's not always fun for Jr.

2. Do you still buy CDs (or other physical media)?

Yes! I don’t have space for vinyl right now, I think if I started collecting vinyl it Would kill me like permanently (though it would be soooo good), CDs are a happy middle ground where they’re a little more durable, still have physical art and booklets and you don’t need a giant player or as much space for them. Also, I grew up with them. I love CDs!

Here’s my collection.

Lots of Muse, most of Fontaines’ back catalogue, some Bowie, some Super Furry Animals, Franz Ferdinand, Green Day, Blur, Charlatans, Depeche Mode, Kiwi jr and Half Moon Run. Cool bands, but I have Got to get so many more albums, I saw a Lush CD in a cool indie record shop but I couldn’t buy 3 CDs and ended up dropping it for then and I think about it often. I’ve got to pick it up next time!

Also, I don’t know if this is weird, I don’t really like ordering CDs online if I can help it? I used to have to, because we literally didn’t have a local record shop, but ever since I’ve been able to find one nearby, I’ve just liked running into CDs more. Like fate. The album crossed my path (I inevitably walked into a record shop, depending on who you ask) so I have to have it. Makes sense, right? Also I just don’t think I should be allowed to have access to the whole purchasable stock of online music. I’d go bankrupt in a day.

This pic was originally drawn in the mindset of "Ludwig gets found directly after Junior," but it's mostly scrapped in that regard.

Lud's behavior, on the other hand, is still fair game. After he's found, he refuses to get within ten feet of the humans despite his siblings' insistence that they're harmless. He starts keeping a Star Trek-style log of his time in the squishy bipeds' care, taking note of everyone's actions in case something fishy happens. Which it never does.

He's especially wary of "the purple one," as Dal's the one usually taking care of Junior and therefore the one who could easily harm the kid or otherwise take advantage of Junior's trust.

But at the same time... he can't help but be curious. He's never seen a "hyoo-man" before, and based on how the gang described their homeworld, it sounds like they're deathworlders. Which doesn't make any sense; deathworlders, like their name implies, are said to be much, much more vicious. All the time.

So why are these ones acting so kind...?

Goku: I mean, there's a whole process. It's not like you can grab them from the jar with your hand, because it's cold and the juice burns if you have a cut, plus, it's pretty unsanitary. And you can't use a spoon because you'll have to scoop it out, and it'll be way too difficult to grab more than three or four without taking 10 minutes along with half the brine in the jar, even if it's one with holes.

Vegeta: Yeah, that's why you use a fork.

Goku: Okay, sure, but what if you don't have one of the big ones clean? It's weird to use a small one. But there is always one of those smaller sharp knives clean.

Vegeta: But the straight edge doesn't really fit the cylindrical shape, and you have to make sure you don' t break it, it's too much work.

Goku: It makes me feel like I deserve the pickles though. Like, "Yeah, I did it. That's right. Good job me." It's empowering. But even after that, it's not like you can use a bowl.

Vegeta: I get that, it's not ascetically pleasing.

Goku: Exactly! And it looks weird if you don't entirely fill the bowl, but you also can't eat that many. My solution: Use a mug.

Vegeta: Agreed.

Piccolo: That is all very interesting, BUT WE'RE TRYING NOT TO DIE RIGHT NOW! USE YOUR LIMITED ATTENTION SPANS AND FOCUS!

Goku: Jeez, okay.
