I was watching my friends play Minecraft

i think we need to acknowledge how disconnected mc axolotls are from irl axolotls more often. like. they are almost as big as wolves (and hunt in packs accordingly!). they will rip to shreds not just little fish, not just squids twice their size, but fucking DROWNED and GUARDIANS. if they get hit hard enough they play dead and then regenerate health as quickly as a potion. if you kill a guy that's bothering them they will EXTEND THIS MAGIC TO YOU??? they are deeply frightening little beasts and i love them for this

What inspired kingsleys design?

He was obviously and clearly based off doey but the rest of the design was inspired from a slime from minecraft, and those ear things are actually inspired from baymax from big hero six when he's in his armour

After that, someone thought they were actually his ears, but their not, and then I realised that they look very similar to an axolotl! So, ig their actually external gills you call them? But their not actually gills (I'm not sure, but they aren't ears or gills, that's for sure)
