okay so i normally avoid videos/pics of my rescue parrot in public spaces for several reasons, but this is quite possibly the funniest video i've ever taken of her and it would be selfish of me to keep it to myself!!

Turns out trying to freehand shoot with the equivalent of a 900mm lens while on a boat is actually very difficult and most photos you'll get are gonna suck! Not showing you those ones though

i was looking for different kinds of birds and found this one article so i skimmed through and

The girls were very crudely evicted from their home today. There was much squalling and flapping of the wings.

I chased them hither and thither and placed my hands upon them and THRUST them from their very nests. Their very home. And LOCKED them from returning. The audacity!!

After the dramatics were over, I cleaned their room and opened the door again. All the girls were very happily cheeping from under the ramp where they scratched and wallowed like the very spoiled little raptors they really are.

Paratober 2023, Day 28: Lost/Third Swimming Pool

I was trying to think what the swimming pool could be about and I was like,,, hey the waiting bird could be quite silly,,,, and somehow,,,, I ended up with this, I'm quite happy from the results!
