ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES CONTINUE BOMBING LEBANON WHILE OPPOSITION ISRAELI LAWMAKER CALLS FOR OCCUPATION OF THE SOUTH FOR 50 YEARS
Israeli opposition lawmaker Avigdor Liberman called for a 50 year-long occupation of southern Lebanon in response to attacks by Hezbollah resistance forces.
Liberman, an Israeli lawmaker, long-time occupation hawk, and zealous Zionist, told reporters that Lebanon has to “pay in territory” for strikes launched by Hezbollah forces on Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) along the shared border in the north of occupied Palestine.
Previously, Israel occupied the south of Lebanon for 15-years, from 1985-2000, during which the Hezbollah resistance movement was formed, fighting a guerilla war with the Israeli occupation and eventually liberating the south of the country from occupation.
Now Israeli opposition lawmaker and former Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman is issuing fresh calls to re-occupy southern Lebanon for an additional 50-years as punishment for Hezbollah's solidarity with the Palestinian resistance.
Liberman said Israel must "close off" a large section of southern Lebanon to push the Resistance north of the Litani River, even if it means 50-years of occupation.
“It can’t be that there are entire towns where close to half of the buildings were simply destroyed,” Liberman told reporters at Yisrael Beytenu's opposition faction meeting.
“We will not annex anything, and we will not build settlements, but we will release the territory only when there is a government in Beirut that knows how to exercise its sovereignty," Liberman added.
“Everything between the Litani and Israel must be under the control of the IDF,” Liberman demanded of the occupation forces, comparing the situation to the Post-WWII occupation of Germany. “If Lebanon won’t pay in territory we haven’t done anything,” he added.

The newest edition of the Cutting Through Newsletter is out. Although the far-right governing coalition in #israel is getting the attention, the opposition is dominated by the Israeli right as well. That’s why there’s little hope of any good coming out of the current crisis. We need to recognize what Israel is: a right-wing country, not just one that happens at this moment to have a right-wing…

by Alan Zeitlin
In “The October 7 War: Israel’s Battle for Security in Gaza,” Seth Frantzman doesn’t use hyperbole when he writes: “A country that went to sleep on Oct. 6 concerned with domestic controversies woke up the next day to an unprecedented war. It was a shock that shook the country to its core and left major questions about the future.”
Frantzman writes that as rockets flew overhead when he drove down to the border, his colleague Dr. Eric Mandel notified him that he saw corpses littering the streets. Some were Israeli civilians, and some were terrorists. The book is about the four months when he covered the war.
He notes that while more information will come out after official investigations are completed, there was an overconfidence by the heads of the Israeli military as well as politicians, who believed that by making sure money flowed to Hamas, the terrorist group would care about self-interest and not launch any major attack. He conveys the shock that many in the world sided with Hamas. “By attacking Israel,” he writes, “Hamas did not receive more condemnation and isolation globally; instead, it achieved more recognition and a spotlight.”
Frantzman takes you through the founding of Hamas, first through an election and then by murdering its opponents in the Fatah party.
“At each point in history when Israel was about to achieve peace, Hamas would seek to sabotage the efforts via massive deadly attacks,” he writes of periods of past decades. “The same would occur in October 2023 when Hamas sought to derail normalization with Saudi Arabia and peace in the region.”
While Israel assassinated founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin in 2004, three years earlier it released Yahya Sinwar in the trade for kidnapped solider Gilad Shalit. Sinwar is the leader of Hamas, the Oct. 7 attack’s mastermind, and is still alive. Frantzman writes that lessons have been learned. “Technology is not a substitute for strategy and tactics.”
Hamas did preparatory drills in plain sight during daylight hours so that Israel would be fooled into thinking the terrorist group was simply doing drills. Israel’s rationale was that the country defeated Hamas in 2002, 2009, 2012, 2014 and 2021, so it could do it again if it had to.” But none of those included large-scale, surprise ground attacks.
He notes that Knesset member Avigdor Liberman resigned as Defense Minister in 2018, sensing that the threat of Hamas was not taken seriously and that a paper he wrote explaining the possibility of a large-scale attack was largely ignored. The payments from Qatar that were believed to be for the purpose of de-incentivizing war were instead used to finance the terror tunnels, which were a key to the war.
The plan, dubbed “walls of Jericho,” outlining almost exactly the October attack, was seen in April of 2002, but not acted upon.

On 10 June, Israeli settlers part of Uri Tzafon ("Wake Up the North"), a far-right movement calling for Israeli settlement in southern Lebanon, sent balloons and small drones over the border carrying leaflets ordering residents of the south and western Bekaa region to leave immediately, with arrows pointing toward the Mediterranean Sea.
"Warning! This is the land of Israel that belongs to the Jews. You are required to leave immediately," says the message in Hebrew and Arabic.
Uri Tzafon held a conference on 17 June dedicated to resettlement in south Lebanon. Some of the guests included Daniella Weiss and Yehudit Katzover-the leaders of the movement that founded the Jewish settlements in Samaria and Hebron -Sara Netanyahu's brother Hagi ben Artzi, and a major from the Israeli military.
Although the movement is said to be made up of less than a thousand members, calls for invading, occupying, and settling in Lebanon are not uncommon among the Israeli public and political sphere.
In January, former War Minister and head of the opposition Yisrael Beytenu party, Avigdor Liberman, called on Israel to reoccupy southern Lebanon, saying the country must "pay in territory" for Hezbollah's operations.
Liberman insisted that the Israeli military "close off" part of southern Lebanon to push Hezbollah north of the Litani River, even if it meant 50 years of occupation.
Israeli Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir have also both called for Israeli invasions and "takeovers" of southern Lebanon.

I know there will never be a 'perfect' world (world peace, no war, no bigotry or discrimination, equal rights for everyone), but if--hypothetically, there was, what would that look like for israel, in your vision?
A government run by people who are sane, talented, ethical, and able to be on good terms with foreign leaders. Preferably no one to the right of Naftali Bennett, Ayelet Sheked, or Avigdor Liberman.
The "outside-in" strategy continuing to work as it had been proven to for years. Further normalizations: Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Oman, Mauritania, others. A two-state solution, where Israel annexes the largest settlement blocs closest to the West Bank barrier wall, any impacted Palestinians in those zones getting full citizenship. The remainder of the settlers are stripped of their Israeli citizenship and become Palestinian Jews, paying taxes to Palestine, their parking tickets written in Arabic, inhabiting a fully contiguous Palestinian state in the West Bank, which would be connected somehow to Palestinian Gaza. Israel has 7 million Jews and 2 million Arabs, Palestine has 5 million Arabs and perhaps 300,000 Jews.
Oh, and the Democratic Socialists of America all get tortured to death by Jigsaw.

It’s absolutelyn insane to see Zionists denying the genocide when we are living in a world where Israeli politicians boast OPENLY about using genocide against the people of Gaza.
Netanyahu himself invokes the biblical tale of Amalek (“Now go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey”), Avigdor Liberman tweet that “there are no innocents in Gaza”, Ghassan Alian, who heads the Israeli army’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Palestinian Territories, declared that “there will be no electricity and no water in Gaza, there will only be destruction. You wanted hell, you will get hell”, the former Israeli Interior minister Ayelet Shaked declared that “after we turn Khan Younis into a soccer field… we need to take advantage of the destruction to tell the countries that each of them should take a quota, it can be 20K or 50K. We need all 2 million to leave. That’s the solution for Gaza”, and the Israeli agriculture minister, Avi Dichter, said that the military campaign in Gaza was explicitly designed to force the mass displacement of Palestinians, “we are now rolling out the Gaza Nakba. Gaza Nakba 2023. That’s how it’ll end.”
theres literally nothing i can add to their own quotes. any political analysis is unneccessary in the face of them going "we are comitting genocide we love genocide". what even is there to say anymore

Iran to strike before US elections? Islamic Republic reportedly plans ‘definitive and painful’ response
Knesset Member Avigdor Liberman calls for pre-emptive strike and 'clear defeat'
Iran is considering launching a retaliatory response to Israel’s strike before the U.S. elections next Tuesday, Nov. 5, CNN reported on Wednesday afternoon. The U.S. news site reported that a “high-ranking source” told them Israel’s recent strike on Iran will be met with a “definitive and painful” response. “The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the aggression of the Zionist regime will be definitive and painful,” the source told CNN. The source also claimed that Iran’s response “will probably take place before the day of the US presidential election.”
Iran preparing to strike Israel from Iraqi territory, Khamenei orders preparations - report
The attack is expected to be carried out from Iraq using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles, Axios reported.
Israeli intelligence suggests Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, possibly before the US presidential election on Nov. 5, Axios reported on Thursday, citing two unidentified Israeli sources. The attack is expected to be carried out from Iraq using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles, the Axios report added. The report said that carrying out the attack through pro-Iran militias in Iraq could be an attempt by Tehran to avoid another Israeli attack against strategic targets in Iran.
Growing Iranian Threat To Jordan's Stability And Israel's Security; For First Time, Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood Claims Responsibility For Terrorist Attack Against Israel
The security threat facing Israel from Jordan appears to be growing, with the ongoing and increasing efforts by Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to destabilize the Jordanian kingdom in the service of Iran and to transform the country – entirely against its will – into a base for terrorist activity against Israel.
Recently there was a significant escalation of this subversive activity against Jordan when, on October 18, 2024, two members of the Jordanian MB, Husam Abu Ghazala and Amar Qawas, breached the Jordan-Israel border to the south of the Dead Sea disguised as Jordanian soldiers, and opened fire on two Israeli soldiers. Immediately after the attack, spokesmen for the Jordanian MB and its political arm – The Islamic Action Front party – confirmed that the attackers belonged to the movement.[1] These unprecedented announcements reveal the involvement of the MB in terrorist attacks against Israel from Jordanian territory, which until now have been carried out by individuals unaffiliated with any organization.

The World Cup has exposed the bankruptcy of the Abraham Accords
The World Cup has exposed the bankruptcy of the Abraham Accords
Israelis came to the World Cup in Qatar expecting to find a new atmosphere of friendliness and warmth among Arab fans. Instead, they found that the fact that a handful of dictators in the UAE and Bahrain could not change the hearts and minds of the people of not only Qatar, but the entire Arab world, including the UAE and Bahrain. The support at the World Cup for the rights of the Palestinian…
