this past year has easily been one of the most productive and artistically formative years in recent memory and i'm so incredibly proud and grateful to have this little corner of the internet full of people who share my interests and enjoy my art <3

Registration for the 2025 round is now open!

In the eight years since our first round, Pinefest authors have written 253 incredible fics comprising a collective 9.8 million words worth of pining, and artists have been inspired to create 811 gorgeous works of art to be viewed alongside them.

Now, we're excited to announce the opening of our ninth round – and we'd love for you to join us!

Registration will remain open until September 30th for authors, while artists may continue to sign up until December 1st.

Artists and authors will be paired through an anonymous claims process on December 14th, and artists will have 3 months to work on their art before posting commences on pi(e) day – March 14, 2025!

#yia*#a #so once more with feeling:#still working as a doctor still at the same workplace still overworked and bad at many things - but getting better at others #still struggling to finish my thesis but making progress i think #fell back into football big time (hi teo) and so happy for it. the euros were great and i booked tickets for a weuro match next year with #my mom so that's something i'm looking forward to in 2025 already #if you're even slightly interested in football pspspsps come to me i have yaoi to sell you #had an amazing vacation in sweden with my family. take me back to walks through the forest with just my pocket knife a bowl for #collecting berries and my mp3 player (that was in august so august was weakest art-wise haha)#bought a new mattress and yes in the life i lead that's a highlight (for real)#here's to 2025 and sharing it with you :)

btw everyone- Im not going to be making a 2024 version of the big Warriors: The Prophecies Begins drawing I do every year. I'm planning on skipping the year 2024, since I think the 2023 version is actually spectacular, and I want to let myself grow as an artist some more before I tackle it again.

#shroomer talks !#the last one is blurred because its spoilers #i wanted to finish it so badly before the end of the year but alas... i have a job #hopefully will be able to finish it tomorrow or the day after #anyways!! what a good run this year has been!!#its so funny most of these pieces were done in the last few months lol i did not like any of my drawings or even had any finished pre-augus #and then boom. south park happened.#and suddenly i was rejuvenated. like a fish in water #if ill be honest with you guys ive had some of the worst art block for last few years/been so incredibly unsatisfied with my art #and its only been since august where ive finally started becoming a bit more ok with the work ive produced #i dont necessarily think ive made anything that could be a magnum opus or whatever. i dont even think i can really go:#“yea. i did that. hell yea. this is amazing”#its more like a “yea. im starting to see growth. im going somewhere. i think.”#but thats way better than what it was before where i just straight up hated my art lol #i still kinda do hate it though but its starting to be less #or at the very least its in a more positive direction where im thinking “ok i hate it but im gonna try and learn from this”#anyways thanks all of you for sticking around with little old me <3 #MORE SOUTH PARK CONTENT TO COME IN 2025!!#youre not getting rid of me that easily #south park #splatoon

The Count of Monte Cristo - international airdates - List to be updated

The Count of Monte Cristo is a new adaptation of Alexander Dumas's titular classic story, with 8 episodes, each about 50 minutes long. The series is an European co-production, directed by Bille August and starring an international cast.

• France - As Le Comte de Monte-Cristo on France Télévisions - Some sites, including IMDb, state December 11, 2024 as the French premiere date, but this seems like incorrect information.

• Switzerland - As Le Comte de Monte-Cristo on December 15 on RTS 1, airing two episodes consecutively

• Sweden - As Greven av Monte Cristo December 18, 2024 on SVT - The whole series will be available on SVT Play in Sweden. The SVT website also hosts the first English-language teaser (which is viewable worldwide).

• Italy - as Il Conte di Monte Cristo on Rai 1, no official airdate yet, but multiple sites are stating January 13, 2025

• Denmark - as Greven af Monte Cristo, the full series will be released online on December 20 on DRTV.

• UK - 2025 on BBC, according to Hollywood Spy.

So far, there's no information on any US broadcast.
